"Bugs, come in!" You yelled as he made his way in by slowly opening the doors and approaching you.
He gasped as you looked at you laying there in the hospital bed. "He's beautiful" he smiled as he sat down beside you as he petted your new little sons long ears.
"He really is" you laughed softly as you wiped a tear away from your eye.
You both dearly loved your new baby but Bugs seemed starstruck by this new addition.
"Can i?" He asked.
" Be my guest "
As he held the little bunny, his heart was melting. As he looked at how peacefully the child was sleeping.
"gimme him back now " you whispered.
"Yeah" you grabbed him gently and stroked him.
"So, you decided on a name yet? " Bugs asked.
"Yes"
"What is it?"
" Bugs"
"What?"
" Yes"
"You're calling him after me ?" Bugs couldn't be more happy or honoured.
"Yeah! Bugs jr! "
"Bugs jr. I like it. Has a certain ring to it. Bugs it is"
You both just sat there for a while with your new son before bringing the baby bunny to his new loving home.
