Marvin the Martian #11

Idk how I ever got the idea for this but I hope you all like it 😂

 "When can I ever take this blindfold off, (y/n)?" Sighed your boyfriend, Marvin.

"In a few seconds...and we're here!" You said in a cheerful tone as you opened the doors and let him in.

He took off his blindfold. " this is the surprise? A fast food joint? " he looked around the place with a look of disgust.

"Not just any burger joint, McDonald's!" You squealed and moved your arms about.

He didn't share your passion. "Huh, well if it's alright with you, I'm going to that little cafe a few blocks away for my dinner"

"Oh come on Marvin!" You grabbed his hand sat him down at a table. "You want to try earth food and I'm giving you the finest of what we have to offer!"

" Really? Well I pray for the future of this planet if that's the case" he replied sarcastically as you rolled your eyes at this remark and made your way up to order something.

As you were placing your order, he looked around and noticed something: free straws. He looked at them like a small child would look at a toystore as he slowly approached them.

"Why would earthlings just give these away for free?" He pondered as he stuffed his pockets with straws, ketchup packets, sugar and just anything else.

You sat down at the table with him. "So, you enjoying it so far?" You smiled over at the Martian boy.

"I must say, it's not quite so bad as I had anticipated, but the proof of the pudding IS in the eating"

"Indeed"

"Here you go" said the boy working behind the counter as he delivered the food to your table.

"Thank you" you grinned eagerly at the food. "Here Marvin, try on of these"

"What is it?" He asked.

" take it out of the wrapper, it's a cheeseburger "

"Made from beef? Cows ?"

" Yeah "

"We have nicer livestock on mars though"

" Marvin, do you want to eat the cheeseburger or do you want me force it down your throat? "

"I'll go with the first option" he gulped as he tried the food.

It was like something had come alive inside of him as he took his first bite out of it and then greedily wolfed the rest of it down.

"You like it?" You asked, your face full of food as well.

"Why, that's the finest date I've ever had the pleasure of eating! I must have more!"

" Here, take my fries " you offered.

He hit it off with those as well. "Simply delicious! What's that? "

 "A milkshake, here try one"

You smiled and giggled at how adorable his reaction was. When you were finished eating, you ordered two mcflurrys.

"This here, Marvin, is called a mcflurry"

 "It just looks like an ice cream to me"

"Oh it's more than just an ice cream"

He started to dig in to it, but stopped a few seconds later.

"Ow! What a headache!"

" That's what we call a brainfreeze "

"Good thing it's away " he said as he once again tucked into his mcflurry. Marvin could be so adorable.
