You watched him. You watched the creature for hours on end as he continued to stalk the blue road runner and you watched as he failed miserably each time. You noticed the way he failed every time, and in all fairness, it really served him right, but you couldn't help but feel a little sorry for him. You could understand animals and you could feel his hurt and that hurt you too.

After he had finished falling down a cliff, you approached him and helped him up.

 "Need a hand?" You offered.

 " Well it would look that way" he said in a defeated voice. You lifted him up. "You're unusually strong" he said suspiciously.

 "I'm half android" you shrugged.

 "What?" He cried. " but that's not possible! "

 "Well I'm living proof"

 "I'm really not getting this" he said, running his eyes in disbelief.

 "Well you don't have to. Look, I noticed the way that bird outsmarts you every time and I want to help"

 "What are you suggesting?" 

 " That I'm going to help you"

 "But why?"

 " Because im tired of watching you fail every time"

His face turned red and was going to retort, but quickly calmed himself down. "Very well. What do you have in mind?"

 You showed him a few traps you had created and showed him how they worked.

 "Simply wonderful! But do you think that they will work?" He asked.

 " I have no doubt"

You set out a few traps and waited and waited. It was a long night, but eventually you caught him. You both rushed over to the cage he was trapped in and lifted up the trap.

 "What? Oh, how splendid!" He clapped His hands in amusement. "Come on! Let me show you back to my place for dinner" he smirked.

Later that evening, you were seated at his table and you waited for him to enter. He eventually came in, and took out a tray with a freshly cooked bird.

"It looks delicious" you smiled, your mouth watering.

" Indeed it does. It was a good thing I had some leftover turkey from thanksgiving "

"Indeed it was. Shame about road runner running away though"

" Yes, it was. At least i now know that it can be done "

You smiled and raised a glass.

You drank down your drink and you really got to know him that night. He was narcissistic and had too much ego, but was intelligent and never have up and you admired those qualities in him and that was the start of a beautiful friendship.
