"Gee, Cadet, I'm seriously beginning to question your methods" Dodgers crossed his arms and looked at his small partner as he was starting to doubt that anyone would respond to the fliers the pig had put up in (f/p) for studying the life there.

"J-j-just have p-p-patience, Dodgers" Cadet smiled. "I'm s-s-s-s-u-u, certain someone will respond" And surely their patience was rewarded as a knock could be heard on the door of the spaceship, following their previous two lines of dialogue.

"Ooh, a volunteer! Maybe you were right for once, go on, check who it is, Cadet"

"Right away, s-s-sir!" He obeyed eagerly and left to check if anyone had actually replied.

He answered the door, but to his complete amazement, it was someone he never thought he'd see again!  His eyes widened and his knees weakened at the sight. It wasn't just anyone, it was you!

"(y/n)!" He exclaimed. "W-w-what are you d-d-doing here? I didn't think you'd w-w-w-want to see m-m-m-me again"

"Well then you were mistaken" You smiled and stated calmly. "Aren't you going to let me in?"

"B_b-b-but of course!" 

He took you into the ship, into where the kitchen was located, sat you down at the table and made you your favourite drink before enquiring as to why you were here tonight.

"Thank you" You said politely as you put down the mug you were finished drinking from. "Now i suppose you want to know why i'm here?"

"W-w-w-well of course!" He answered curiously.

"Well, Cadet, this may come as a shock to you, but i'm here to ask about and possibly participate in this study you were talking about. That IS if you haven't already found someone

"N-n-n-o, we don't. W-w-what? B-b-but why?" This was all a puzzle to him.

"Ah, i see. And can you please tell me more about what they are going to be doing? I noticed the posters you stuck up all around (f/p), i trust that was your idea?" You raised an eyebrow at him.

"W-w-well, it's just like a checkup at t-t-h-he doctor, harmless really, a-a-a-and i heard they p-p-p-pay well. And y-y-yes, that w-w-was my idea" He smiled proudly when he recalled this to you.

"I thought as much, less barbaric methods than your friend" You laughed softly and he joined in. "But the real point of this whole thing is to repay you" You smiled.

"Rep-p-pay m-me?" He looked startled. "B-b-but why?"

"Because of the way the way you approached and showed kindness to me, you're a sweet guy" You batted your eyelids, making him blush.

"Awww, you d-d-didn't have t-t-to d-do that, i d-d-did what any responsible cadet i-i-i-in my position would d-d-d-d-d-do"

"Yes, and i like that about you, you're responsible, sweet, caring and sensitive"

He was just a big blushing mess at this point, and try as he might, he was too nervous to make a move, but he was desperate to get to know you better and so he went for it. "Y-y-y-you k-know, the tests are at five t-t-t-tomorrow, and you're not doing anything after? Are y-y-you?"

Your face lit up as you realised he was going in for the kill now. "I'm not doing anything after, my evening is free for dinner if that's what you're suggesting?"

"W-w-well that is, only i-i-i-if you want to?"

"Of course i do! I really should be going now, but here's something to remember me by" You grinned as you put your arms around him and kissed him once more before leaving the ship, leaving him completely lovestruck.
