"Oh, wow, that was amazing" you smiled contentedly as you shoved your plate away. You and your boyfriend Daffy were having dinner at a Chinese restaurant tonight and you didn't feel like you could eat anymore.
"It was...at my expense" he replied.
You rolled your eyes. "Stop complaining. Oh gosh, I don't think I could eat anymore" you sighed .
"Maybe just a little something?" He grinned as he threw you over a fortune cookie.
"Eh, maybe just this" you shrugged and pulled open the treat. You are the fortune cookie and then read what it said on it. "It says: you always bring others happiness" you smiled. "Aww, that's so sweet! What does yours say?"
" it says that the love of my life is right in front of my eyes"
You smiled widely at this. "It really says that? Oh let me see!" You said as you reached out and tried to grab the paper, only to have him clutch it to his chest.
"What, don't believe me or something? You have some serious trust issues" he huffed.
"What's wrong with me seeing it? I just want a little peak. Come on" you prised it from his hands and read it.
"Daffy, this doesn't say that at all" you said to him, confused.
He smiled goofily and you realised what he just did. "I know!" You both laughed at him being such an idiot. There was no denying he was an idiot but he was your idiot.
