Warning: violence, injuries, blood, gunfire, cringey hipe speech, knives, generally just violence. Small amounts of fluff however

Scott brought them to Argent's warehouse. Apparently his cover was a military arms dealer. It was a good cover. The place was big. The tarps over the windows cast a greenish light. There were other tarps hanging from the walls. Certain secions of concrete walls were cracked or even crumbled like someone had punched them with a hammer.

Brett suddenly growled and ran through one of the tarps. Vic knew what he smelt. Gunpowder and iron.

"Brett!" she called. She ran out after him and grabbed his shoulder before he could jump at Argent. The man had his gun raised in defense. "Brett, this is his warehouse. He has a right to be here." Brett looked down at her. She nodded. He relaxed slightly, the golden glow in his eyes faded.

The tarp moved again and the wolves walked out. Argent sighed and lowered his gun. "Scott," Argent greeted.  "If you were planning on bringing guests, you could've called."

The alpha sighed. "I didn't have anywhere else to take them."

Satomi stepped forward so she was in front of Vic and Brett. "I know this man," she said. "He may not remember but we've met before." The tone in her voice made it perfectly clear that when they met before, it wasn't a happy meeting.

"You can trust him," Scott said. "I do."

Satomi looked at Vic. "Do you trust him, Victoria?"

Vic looked over at the hunter. "With this, yes."

"How do we know he's not like the others?" Satomi asked.

"Others?" Argent repeated, confused.

Kira stepped forward. "Last night, there was a whole team after them. They used crossbows." She pulled out an arrowhead and gave it to Argent. The man took it, his eyes traced over the symbol stamped into the metal.

"They're hunters, aren't they?" Scott asked.

"Not anymore," Argent told them. "Not if they're killing for profit."

"Can they find us?" Brett asked.

"They might already know you're here," Argent said. "Maybe they're waiting for dark."

"So we're not safe here?" Brett questioned.

"We're not safe anywhere," Satomi said. In her voice, she sounded exhaused. "We've been trying to get out for days. Everywhere we turn we find someone new trying to kill us."

Argent turned to Scitt and Vic. "If they're coming, they're coming for you two as well. Vic, you're still number one on the list."

"Stiles and Malia are trying to stop it," Vic told him. "I don't know when they made up, but they're working together ot try and stop it."

"Lydia can get the answer out of Meredith, she just needs more time," Scott added.

"Then that's what she'll get," Argent said.

The waiting was the hard part. It was driving her insane. So to pass the time she practiced her skills with her knife. It wasn't half bad actually. It was balanced and the obsidian wasn't too heavy with the light weight of the silver. She tried throwing it a few times and found ot always went into her target.
