Chapter 28
Dana's POV:
The music is still buzzing into my ears as Alexia gets us another round of drinks. People are pushing up against me, dancing with me. I'm lost in a sea of people. I can faintly hear Alexia calling for me, but I ignore her.
I feel someone pulling me from the crowd, but their face is blurry. I hear my name being distorted. I'm sitting in a chair, and a glass of water is thrust into my face.
"DrInK!" The voice is mocking me as the music around me gets louder. I throw down the drink in two seconds.
My vision gets blurry as I attempt to walk to a quieter place within the club. I stumble into people, barely staying upright.
"Dana! Where are you?" I think that's Alexia's voice but I'm not entirely sure. My throat feels as if it's being attacked. I run to the nearest trash can and vomit.
I feel a hand rubbing on my back. I don't know who it is but their voice is soothing.
"Come on, we need to get you home." I walk straighter but I almost twist my ankle when I fall sideways.
"Do you have a cab?" Another voice says. I feel sleepy.
*Later*
I wake up still in my dress that I wore from the club. I don't know what time it is or who brought me home. And why is my head pounding? I don't think I drank that much.
I hear the footsteps. Looking up, it is Alexia and someone else I haven't met.
"Hi, I'm Rome." He said. His muscles made his shirt bulged. I must have looked like a mess. Fuck!
"Hi, Rome." I didn't know what else I could say.
"I met Rome at the club last night. He's the one that got you into the cab." Alexia stepped in. I was honestly grateful.
"I'm sorry you had to see me-" I didn't get to finish.
"No worries. We all have our nights." He brushed it off. Buzz! Buzz!
"That's my phone. Where is it?" I ask. I still couldn't think straight.
"Right here." Rome threw my phone. I barely caught it before it hit the ground.
It was over one hundred messages from Justin.
