Chapter 16: This is life

7/8/15 Y/N's POV Morning 

I was arriving at the school to see Fuuka standing there.

Fuuka: "Hey Y/N."

Y/N: "Hello Fuuka."

Fuuka: "Are you alright? You look exhausted."

Y/N: "Do I?... That's odd, I don't feel tired."

Steve: "Your body needs more rest. You shouldn't stay up the nights before an operation."

Y/N (thoughts): 'I would, if I didn't have something to work on.'

Insanity: 'No you wouldn't.'

Fuuka: "Have you been getting enough sleep?"

Y/N: "Umm. Yes?"

Fuuka: "Y/N, don't lie."

Y/N: "Kind of?"

Fuuka: "Y/N, you need to sleep more, or you won't be able to pay attention to anything." 

Y/N: "I'll go to sleep early tonight. Just for you Fuuka."

Fuuka: "Thank you, Y/N."

We then walk to our class getting ready for another day in hell.

Time skip After school

The heavenly sound of the school bell ringing caused everyone to pack away their things and cause Ekoda to leave the classroom muttering something. After I pack all my stuff away I stand up from my sit and look at Fuuka.

Y/N: "I'm going to walk around for a while. Do you want to come?"

Fuuka: "I can't today, I'm going to spend time with Natsuki. Next time I'll come with you."

Y/N: "Ok, next time... See you at the dorm Fuuka."

Fuuka: "Goodbye Y/N."

Fuuka gives me a small smile. I then leave the school taking the train to Iwatodai station.

Steve: "What are you going to do?"

Y/N: " Maybe get something to eat."

Insanity: 'Remember that beef bowl shop?'

Y/N: "Yeah... I could go for a beef bowl."

I then walk over to the beef bowl shop and order myself a beef bowl. Halfway through the bowl of protein, I hear the open, but I couldn't care to look over who entered until this person sat next to me. I look over to see Shinji.

Shinji: "The usual."

The chief nods at Shinji and a few seconds later the chief gave Shinji his food. I could see hear some people start leaving.

Y/N: "Hey, Shinji."

Shinji: "Hey."

Y/N: "What brought you here?"

Shinji: "The food. What do you expect?"

Y/N: "Nothing really... How's everything going?"

Shinji: "It's been alright."

Y/N: "How's your cooking been going?"

Shinji: "I've gotten better since the last time you tasted it."

Y/N: "That's good to hear."

Shinji: "Why are you here?"

Y/N: "Same as you, to get something to eat."

Shinji: "Did Aki send you here?"

Y/N: "No, why?"

Shinji: "He wants me to join back."
