I woke up to a peacefully sleeping Lesley. I felt a smile form as I tuck a few strands of hair behind her ear. I snaked my arm around her waist and gently pulled her into my embrace.
Her faced twitched and she snuggled a little closer to me nestling into my chest with a faint content smile. I stared at her memorizing her features as she slept on in peace.
After a while she stirred. A sign that she was waking up. Her eyes fluttered open blinking a few times before lifting her gaze to meet mine.
"Good morning love." I said flashing her a smile.
She returned it and pulled my head down for a kiss "Good morning to you too handsome." She murmured "What would you like for breakfast?"
