Until When?

"When are you going to stop running from me?" She asked still hugging me.

I was silent because I couldn't answer that question.

I never could.

She looked up and into my eyes "Am I not enough?" She didn't cry and wasn't in hysteria but I could tell she was hurting.

I caressed her face and looked back into her chocolate brown eyes "I'm sorry Les I'm still not ready."

"Until when?" She asked pulling back but still holding onto me "Until when do I have to keep chasing? Until when will you be able to reciprocate my feelings?"

"I..."

She shook her head "You don't need to answer if you're uncomfortable. But please Gusion." For the first time in our conversation she looked away "Please give me an answer someday."

I pulled her closer toward me closing the distance she created earlier and kissed her forehead "I will. Someday but not today."

I let my arms drop and hers does too. "Take care." I say as I turned away and walked off.

"Yeah take care." I hear her murmur back.
