august 2014
kenzie louise

after my parents came and picked everyone up including megan; then taking her home, we were back in our own home

i went straight upstairs and unpacked my stuff from the lynchs, i got to the bottom of my bag to see a piece of paper

i furrowed my eyebrows as i picked it up, it was an envelope

i opened it cautiously scared of what could be inside, when i opened it there were two pieces of paper

i unfoled the bigger one first, too see a ticket? to anywhere in the world?

"what!" i shouted

i grabbed my phone from my pocket and called ross immediately

"hello?" he said

"ross!" i shouted

he laughed "yes"

"what the fuck!"

"what did i do?" he asked

"ticket? bag? note? envelope" i rambled

"do you like it?" he laughed

"like it? i love it!"

"i'm glad, have you opened the other note?" he asked

"nope, hold on"

i put him on speaker and unfoled the other note

it read

to kenzie,

when you miss me, read this

just remember i miss you every second of everyday

you mean so much to me and i know we haven't come to this point in the relationship yet but i just wanted to tell you that i love you

and you don't have to tell me you love me right back, because i will wait

i will wait however long it takes for you; because your worth it

so just remember this, there's a ring in the envelope, a promise

that i will wait.

forever

i love you kenzie

and i'll see you very soon

<3 ross

i started reading over again to process

"kenzie?"

"uh huh" i mumbled

"did you read it?" he asked

i nodded but then remembered he cant see me

"yeah"

he laughed

"do you like the ring?" he asked

i started tearing up when i finished reading it again, i put the paper down and opened the envelope to find a gorgeous silver ring in a black velvet box

"i love it" i smiled as i put the ring on my middle finger; it fitting perfectly

"i need to go gorgeous, i'll message you later" he said

"okay" i replied

"goodbye baby" he said

"goodbye my love" i smiled
