it was around 2pm and we were all sat outside, riker had the barbecue going; with rocky helping, and i was sat with megan, we were catching up on everything
i told her about ollie and his friends, me and ross, stuff like that, turns out her and rocky wanted to make it official so that's them
the others were in the pool, messing about, me and megan hadn't gone it yet, my makeup and hair looked good okay?
"sooo...you are ross?" megan said as she crossed her legs on the chair
i looked down at the chair, hiding my blush "yeah?"
"oh cmon! give me some details" she begged
"ok ok" i put my hands up in surrender
"we...we aren't dating, but we both want too, i just don't think he wants to 'commit"' i shrugged
"aw kenzie" she rubbed my arms slightly
i shrugged "it's fine"
she shook her head.
"FOOD!" rocky shouted so loud people back home could probably hear
"let's go eat" megan said as she stood up
i followed her and we made our way over to the others who were drying themselves of from the pool
"hey" ross smiled as he ran a towel through his hair
"hey" i smiled weakly
"you okay?" he furrowed his eyebrows as he threw the towel on the chair
"yeah...yeah" i nodded as i furrowed my eyebrows
he went to pull me into a hug but i stopped him by putting my hand on his bare chest
"you aren't dry" i laughed slightly
he rolled his eyes before grabbing the towel and wrapping it around his waist; covering the wet shorts
he laughed and put his arm out to me, i smiled before i practically ran into his free arm and wrap my arms gently around his chest, he pulled me in tighter as he wrapped his other hand around me and placed a kiss on my temple
"let's eat" he mumbled into my hair
i nodded before ross let me go, he intertwined our fingers and walked over to the others, he sat down on a chair leaving me to be the only one standing
he patted his leg for me to sit, i sat down on his knees as he leant forward and wrapped an arm around my waist gently with a drink in his other hand
i placed my arms over ross' as he started to eat
i felt a vibration in my bra, yes i put my phone in my bra.
i pulled it out slowly with no one realising, i was getting a call from mitch?
i slid my finger across the screen and put the phone to my ear before she practically shouted down the phone
mitch - where are you?!
kenzie - what?
mitch - you aren't at work! neither is megan!
oh shit.
kenzie - oh yeah, i'm sorry, can i take a few weeks off? i'm busy
mitch - whatever! you guys weren't even doing much anyway!
damn.
she hang up but i left the phone at my ear, in shock pretty much
"is everything okay?" ross asked as he rubbed my side
