i woke up with someone hovering over me
"yeah but can everyone stay? she's fast asleep and there's no point in the others going home now, it's like midnight, i'll get one of them to message them" i could only hear one side of the conversation
i rub my eyes slowly and see myself in what seemed like ross' arms
"ross?" i whispered as my voice cracks
deja vu.
"shhh"
i looked behind me and saw that we were stood on the stairs to the basement, he was asking his parents if everyone could stay
"yeah she can stay with me, the others can stay down here or up with one of the others, i'm sure rydel and maddie would probably share a bed or something?" i heard ross slightly
"fine, but get them to text their parents, or give me their number" i just overheard the other side of the conversation
"what time is it?" i ask
"like midnight, you fell asleep, the others are still awake but i don't think they will be for much longer" ross laughs looking down at me
i nod. "am i not heavy?"
she shakes his head. "not really"
he carries on walking up the stairs and out of the basement leaving the others downstairs
"where are you taking me?" i ask him rubbing my eyes
"the others wanted to stay down there but i'm guessing they won't sleep in a minute, they keep falling asleep and waking up again with loads of energy" he laughs as he carries me through the kitchen
"where will you sleep?" i lean closer into his chest
"we can top tail?" he raises his eyebrows as we start going up the stairs
"whatever" i smile as i lean into his chest wrapping my arms around his chest slightly as he pushes the door open to his bedroom
he lays me gently on the bed and goes back over to shut his door
i just lay there trying to process
"what you doing?" he laughs looking back at me
i look at him with a confused face
"get under the covers, wait no, do you want some clothes?" he asked me
i sat up slowly and smiled at him
i adore this kid.
"please"
he nodded as he walked over to his draws and dug out a black hoodie with some old grey joggers and handed them to me
"thank you" i smiled and pulled myself together
i walked out ross' room and into his bathroom making sure i lock the door behind me
i wash my face with some water and change out ross' other joggers and jumper and into his jumper amd joggers and throw my hair into a bun
i unlock the door and tiptoe over to ross' room and knock slightly
i hear him move around and open the door slowly checking who i was before letting me in
he was in nothing but some black joggers that showed the top of his underwear
"you wanna brush your teeth? i'll probably have a spare toothbrush somewhere?" he asks me sitting on the edge of his bed
"yes please" i smile brightly as he walks into his bathroom and digs through the cabnit
