chapter 18

Peter's POV

'Deactivating Instant Kill.' appeared on the screen and I fell from the sign making a lot of noise, one of the guys said "Did you hear that?" I tried to shoot a web for going back on the sign but I couldn't "Suit lady, what's wrong with my web-shooters?" "Rapid-fire is the default for Enhanced Combat Mode." she said "Why would I need rapid-fire?" I asked "Would you like to see more options?" then she put in the screen some options and said "You have 576 possible web-shooter combinations." "Whoa, Y/N really overdid it." Then I chose one of the options and shot but it wasn't what I expected "What was that?" I said as an electric web came out "Taser webs." said Y/N "Taser webs? I don't want taser webs." I replied, "You seem to be very unfamiliar with your web-shooter settings. Would you like to run a refresher course?" the Suit Lady "No, just... You choose." I said and she chose the classic web. Then the bad guys' truck moved and I spotted Vulture and Y/N said "copy that." Then we moved from the sign and followed him to a convoy of trucks, where he landed and placed some things on the ceiling of the last trucks and got in; we landed on the same truck as him and I said "Whoa, cool. It's some kind of matter phase shifter." "yeah but don't touch it, we don't know what is it." said in reply Y/N as I got in the truck where was Vulture, he was kneeled on a bag that was full of things. As he zipped the bag I went stuck against the ceiling and he said at the walkie-talkie "Alright, coming up." so I shot a web at Vulture's bag and yelled "Hey, Big Bird! This doesn't belong to you!" but he looked at me intimidatingly "Oh, god." I said and Y/N yelled "hey, Vulture. We meet each other again." Then a yellow light came out of her wand but she missed Vulture that attacked me, we were now fighting on the edge of the trailer, I fell but I could shoot a web on Vulture's bag that ripped and I fell into the truck along with Y/N, the last thing that I remember is that slammed my head on the solid floor of the truck.

Y/N's POV

We were on the sign of an abandoned gas station when I heard Peter saying "No, no, no, no, no, no, no. I don't want to kill anybody!", "whoa, relax Peter." I said, then he fell from the sign making a lot of noise, I didn't know what to do, laugh or worry but I heard him talking to the Suit Lady, his new personal assistant in the suit so I wasn't worried. I was waiting on the sign when I saw an electric discharge so I bowed to see what happened and I saw Peter on the ground that was asking to the Suit Lady "What was that?" "Taser webs, Peter. Now stop playing with the suit and come up." I told him "Taser webs? I don't want taser webs." he replied, then the bad guys' truck moved and Peter seemed to spot Vulture, I looked in the same way as him and said "copy that." then we moved from the sign and followed him to a convoy of trucks, where he landed and placed some things on the ceiling of the last trucks and got in; we landed on the same truck as him and Peter said "Whoa, cool. We meet each other again." then I casted Flipendo trying to knockback Vulture but I missed him and he attacked Peter, now we were now fighting on the edge of the trailer, Peter fell but he could shoot a web on Vulture's bag that ripped and he fell into the truck along with me, because Vulture pushed me in, the last thing that I remember is that slammed my head on the solid floor of the truck. It seemed that it had been hours but I waked up in the truck that was stopped 'ugh, my head huts.', and as he woke up Peter said "Oh, my head." And right after he continued "Y/N are you ok?" "headache apart I'm ok." I replied then we stood up taking our hands on our heads "where do you think are we, right now?" asked Peter "Peter... I know where we are. One day Fury took me here, this is the most secure facility on the Eastern Seaboard. The Damage Control Deep Storage Vault." I said as I recognized the place "Seriously? How can we get out here?" he said "I don't know. I don't think that I can do a spell powerful enough to break the doors." I replied. It's probably been 40 minutes and Peter made an hammock with his web so now we were lying on it, "Hey, suit lady, I kind of feel bad calling you "suit lady," you know? I think I should probably give you a name... like Karen. Do you like it?". It's been an hour I think, we were wearing our Midtown yellow blazers and Peter was trying the webs options while I was trying to break down the doors: I tried 'Alohomora' but the doors were too heavy for a spell like that, I tried 'Bombarda' but it made only a little rift so I yelled "WTF. This would take Hogwarts on the ground how is this possible?!" then Peter asked to Karen "Hey, how long we've been here anyways?" and after some seconds he yelled "What? Thirty seven minutes? That's insane. I cannot take this anymore. I gotta... We gotta get out of here." he flipped off a container and walked in the truck where we were at the beginning "There's got to be something in here that we can use." he said as he opened the Vulture's bag "Okay, let's see." I said as I arrived next to him, he took out a wheel-shaped metal piece but I said "Nope." so he threw it away, he pulled out an a Ultron head. "throw it away, I don't want another Ultron war, thanks." He threw it away but then he found a purple glowing object "Ah, hey, it's like the glowy thing." I said and after some seconds he said "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! You mean, we've been carrying around a bomb?" then he took out his phone and said "No, no, no, no, no." "what's happening, Pete?" I asked him but he ignored my question, went the door and stated to yell "Hey! Please! Please, somebody, let me out! Hey! Karen, you have to help me override that time lock." he continued for like 15 minutes. "Peter, we can try to open the doors with the sequences, ok?" I asked him and he nodded, "Okay, we're just gonna have to try every sequence." he said, after 247 trials it worked and we finally got out. "hey, Edith. Take us at the Decathlon as fast as possible." I said to Edith, my personal assistant, as Peter tried to call Ned, "ok, Y/N. you'll arrive in 25 minute, we jumped through the traffic, but we arrived late. I landed near the Washington Monument near Peter and then heard the students saying "We won!" MJ was alone reading a book, then MR. Harrington asked her "Taking it all in, Michelle?" and she replied "Oh, yeah, I just... um, I don't really want to celebrate something that was built by slaves." "Okay. Enjoy your book." said Mr. Harrington, they went in. at one moment there was an explosion "No, no, no, no, no. Karen, what's going on up there?" said Peter, I activated the infrared viewer "Pe- Spidey, there are some people in the elevator at the last level. We need to go up there." I yelled to Peter as MJ said "My friends are up there!" "What? Uh... Don't worry, ma'am. Everything's gonna be okay. Excuse us, excuse us. Oh, my god, that's tall." said Peter lowering his voice, we climbed the Monument and Edith said "Estimating 10 minutes before catastrophic failure." and continued "The safety systems are completely failing." "Edith find a way in, now." I said panting "Proceed to southwest window." she said so I yelled at Peter "southwest window." "I'm on my way." he replied when we arrived there Peter tried to kick the window to go in. "wait, Pete. Cover your eyes." I said then yelled 'Bombarda' and the window exploded then a Police helicopter and a policeman said to the megaphone "This is D.C. Metro police. Identify yourself." "I'm Y/N Stark. Check the phone with the S.H.I.E.L.D. now let me save this people." I yelled and a phone ringtone came from the megaphone. We got in and Peter went into the elevator "Ahem. Hey, how you doing? Don't worry about it. I got you." He said "Yes! Yes!" said Ned swinging his fist in joy and relief, making the whole elevator wobble, "Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, big guy, quit moving around." said Peter "Sorry, sir. So sorry." replied Ned as he stopped moving "Spidey, we need to move only 60 more seconds." I yelled he nodded and all the people got out of the elevator and the only one remaining was Liz, in that moment the elevator fell Peter yelled "Nooooo." But I was ready and casted a 'Levicorpus' on Liz and she levitated by the elevator shaft, all the students said "Oh, my god. Good, good." then Flash asked Peter "Are you really friends with Peter Parker?" Peter nodded then I said "we need to go." And we disappeared in a white light. Later that night we meet our families, Peter hugged his aunt and I hugged Mom, Natasha and Steve all together "now let's go home..." said Mom trying to convince me but I said "no. I'm going home with May and Peter.
