Guilt started entering her as she keeps on crying. She couldn't understand what was happening anymore.

'Someone, please, wake me up from this nightmare.'

'In this life, Arundel is dead and our friendship is falling apart.'

Her knees gave up and she fell towards the floor. She then covered her face with her hands as she keeps sobbing.

'Since how did everything go wrong? This is my fault....'

'I only wish to restart my life... I didn't wish for someone to die..'

'This didn't happen back then... Why?'

'Why did Arundel die in this world!?'

The prince saw the distress and tried his best not to laugh. He then went forward and stood in front of his beloved. Wearing a mask of lies, he was ready to escape the accusations.

"I didn't kill my father, I was framed." The prince found his confidence as he approaches his grieving friends. He finally found the perfect solution for everything. Astley growled at the statement while Rayll seems to be relieved.

"You're lying! I investigated you-"

"As I said, I was framed." His calmness during a crisis was unbelievable. "Knile assassinated my father."

"!"

'The audacity of this bastard to accuse another bitch!' Astley thought.

"She wouldn't do that!" Astley responded as he glanced at the emotionless Rayll, waiting for a claim to back his words. Unfortunately, he stayed silent.

"She can!" The prince retorted.

'I thought he cherishes her?! It seems like he adores his friend more than her! What a pathetic brother!' Astley thought as he clicks his tongue. He then glared back at the prince.

"And why is that?! Are you just gonna used her as the scapegoat-"

"With dark magic, you can do anything." The heroine immediately spoke as she wiped her tears.

"She can use dark magic. In other words, she's a witch."

The two knights look perplexed. Confusion keeps piling on them.

"Rayll, is she saying the truth?"

"Yes," he answered.

"See? Knile is a witch that curses this land. She killed my father and brought chaos to everyone." The prince declared as he fake sadness.

'Yes, I can merely use her. His brother won't care for her with this one since she certainly is a witch.'

"Where's your evidence?" Astley ask.

"Rayll have it," the prince simply answered. "I didn't kill my father. I will never do that." He added.

Astley looks dejected as he clicks his tongue in annoyance. He saw how serious the prince was and even if he insist that the prince killed the emperor, he doesn't have any evidence. He's also starting to doubt whether the prince did kill his father. The prince doesn't have many reasons to do that.

"I apologized, it was wrong of me to accuse his highness." He stated politely as he sighs.

'The princess might be right, the chaos is getting inside of my head. I'm so stupid. I was ruled by hostility my reasoning screw up. Of course, the prince wouldn't kill his father with no reasons.' Astley thought.

The prince hid his satisfaction because of how easy that was. The power of the male lead was truly assisting him. The tense atmosphere lessens and they finally relaxed.

"It's alright. It must be Knile's magic that made you accuse me out of sudden."

"So she is a witch?"

"Yea, Arundel and I confirmed our suspicion. Tomorrow, let's apprehend Knile." Rayll spoke with no emotion, making the others realize the changes. Worried, the heroine glanced at him and instantly understood his emotions. The typical heroine's hidden abilities.

"If she did scheme the chaos, then she already prepared another plan to prevent herself from being caught."

"That's a probability..."

"But even so with our powers combine we can beat her!" The heroine suddenly rises from the floor as she held her hand high. "We can beat her and I'm confident with it!"

That's right.

She was the heroine of this universe and everything will result in what she wants.

"With the power of our friendship, goddess Stella will help us!"

(I love fairy tail-)

The agony and despair around the room faded, making the capture targets sigh in relief. The power to spread hope and eliminate any despair in sight shows how much fate truly adores her. It was like her mere confidence healed and protected them from the despair.

The broken bond was gradually being fixed and it seems like their skepticism of each other was subsiding.

"Her highness is right," Rayll said. His expressionless stares were eradicated. "We can do this. Arundel makes sure we can accomplish success."

Their reactions was quite a show that even the witch watching them realizes something.

It's as if there was no fighting in the first place.

'Wow, so this must be the power of the goddess?'

'This is so unfair.'

After the misunderstanding was solved, they all started creating scenarios and guessing how Knile will escape and how to prevent it.

"You heard what happened right? Arundel is dead."

"I... I-"

"It wasn't your fault."

"But b-because of meh-he-"

"No, it was his choice."

"B-but he should've died! That didn't hap-"

"Don't!"

"!"

"Don't ever let anyone know that you got reincarnated."

"B-but-"

"Hush Astaria! Once they knew, they'll blame you and you will be convicted. Rayll will not hesitate to accuse you. I don't want you to die."

"Neville. I-... I understand."

"Yes, you should."

Don't hate the heroine, hate the creator.

Ok I'm kidding, no hate.
