Happy Beginning Captain Swan

8-Week Appointment

It was the first week of February. Emma was 8 weeks pregnant, still having morning sickness. Killian has been taking his swan to their second home every day so she can be less nauseous. Emma was enjoying her time on the JollyRoger but miss being with her family. She walked into town to the sheriff's station finding Killian with Hope on his lap sitting at his desk. "My deputy is our little sheriff not causing you not to work?"
Killian smiles seeing his wife. "Emma!"
"Hi, captain." They kiss.
"Mommy art!!"
Emma holds Hope and looks at Hope's artwork. "Your art is so pretty, Hope." She hugs her daughter.
"Mommy."
"Mommy is here."
"Swan, are you okay?"
"I am less nauseous. I need to do some paperwork."
"Tay."
"You can stay with me while I do paperwork." She kisses Hope on the head.
"Aye, I will do my shift of patrol." He looks at Hope. "Hope, be a good little lass to your Mommy."
"Baby."
"Yes, watch Mommy and the baby."
"We are going to be alright. See you soon, deputy."
"Aye, sheriff swan." They kiss. Killian leaves as Emma takes Hope into her office.
Emma works on paperwork while Hope was walking around and playing with her toys. Emma smiles at Hope knowing she will be having another baby playing in her office in a few months. "Mommy." She puts Hope on her lap and continues doing her work. Hope was talking which Emma did not mind her daughter wanted to be with her.
Charming returns from his shift on patrol smiling seeing Emma in her office with Hope on her lap. "Sheriff Swan, are you busy?"
"Hi, Dad. I am doing some paperwork with my little sheriff."
When Killian returned to the sheriff's station she brought ginger ale and sweet fruits for his swan to eat. "Sheriff Swan. I have your lunch."
"Killian! Thank you." They kiss. "How did you know?"
"You need to eat love. Our little bean needs nutrients to grow."
Emma smiles knowing Killian making sure she is eating and thinking of her and their baby. "You know when I need to eat."
"Aye, I want to make sure my wife eats."
"You are the best." She kisses him on the cheek. Emma opens the bag which was fruit salad, saltines, and ginger ale. "This is what I need." She eats her fruit salad. As Killian takes Hope from his swan. "Dada."
"Hi,little pirate."
"Olly wawa."
"Aye, we can check on our second home soon. Love, Hope had her lunch already before you came."
"Henwy! Dada Henwy!" He sets his daughter down and watches Hope goes to her brother and hugs him.
Emma and Killian both smile at their children's close brother and sister bond. "Hi, little sis." He holds Hope on his hip. "Did you have fun with Daddy and Mommy at work?"
"Yes."
"Henry, how were your online classes today?"
"It was good. I have to finish that English paper later."
"I can help you edit your paper."
"Thanks, Mom. I want to have my work done so I can come with you and Dad to your appointment tomorrow."
"My appointment?"
"I was hoping, that Hope and I join you and Dad tomorrow?"
Emma looks at Killian. "You two can join us."
"Yes!" Henry spun Hope around.
Emma held her pirate's hook."Swan.."
"What if the baby is not healthy?"
"You are having morning sickness, love. That is a huge sign that the baby is healthy."
"You are right. We are all going tomorrow." After a few hours of working at the sheriff's station, the Swan-Jones family were heading to their car. They see Snow White. Killian gets protective of his Emma and two loves. Emma was holding Hope protectively. "Emma!"
Hope began crying. "Mommy!"
"You are staying with me, Hope." She hugs her daughter tight.
"Emma, how are you?"
"Leave me and my family alone."
"Grandma leave us alone."
"I want to see your Mom,Henry."
"My mom does not want to see you or my sister. My sister is terrified of you. Cannot you see that? My mom doesn't trust you!"
"Swan, we should be going." Killian guided his three loves to the car.
Snow White follows the family. "Emma!"
Emma sits in the back with Hope. "Mommy. Tay you."
"You are with me, Hope. You are safe." She hugs her daughter.
Killian goes to Snow White. "Emma does not want to see you! Leave my wife alone. If you go anywhere near my family, we would arrest you and put you in prison!"
"I want see my daughter!"
"Your daughter does not trust you because you betrayed her so many times. You kidnapped our Hope and she almost died! Stop bothering my family!" Snow White leaves. Killian returns to his family. Hope was still crying. "Hope, she is gone." Emma puts Hope in her carseat. "We are going home, Hope." Hope holds her Mommy's hand. Henry passes Hope's Pluto doll to his sister.
"Pluto!" Hope stops crying.
The family returned home, Emma carried Hope in who was holding her Pluto doll. "Swan, I got our Hope."
"Dada." Killian takes Hope from Emma and brings Hope up to her room.
Henry hugs his Mom. "Mom, everything is okay. We love you." Emma hugs her son.
"Do you want cinnamon hot cocoa?"
"Yes."
"I can make us some."
"Thank you, Henry." Henry goes to the kitchen. She hears Hope and she goes upstairs finding her daughter in the tub.
"Hope, Mommy is right here, little love."
"Want hug Mommy."
Emma kneels to Hope. "Hope, I am right here. You are safe. Dada is only giving you a bath."
"Want hug."
"We can hug after your bath."
Killian dries off Hope and lets her walk back to her room. Killian helps his wife from the floor. "How are my two loves are doing?"
"The baby is good." She places her hand on her abdominal. "I'm just annoyed at my Mom."
"I know." He hugs his wife. "She is not going near you, the baby and Hope."
"Hope..."
"She is safe with us, Emma." He kisses her on the head. Emma goes to Hope's room and gets Hope dressed for bed.
"Mommy."
Emma holds Hope and hugs her. She sits on Hope's bed and continues to snuggle with Hope. Henry brings up his Mom her cinnamon hot cocoa. "Thank you, Henry." She takes a sip.
"You are welcome, Mom."
"Henwy!"
"Hi, little sis. Do you want a story?"
"Yes, Henwy book."
"From my book?"
"Yes!" Henry went to his room to get his book. "Stowy."
"Yes, Henry is going to read us a story." She hugs her daughter.
Killian enters the room. "Swan, I am going to make us dinner." They kiss.
The next morning, Killian sees Hope fast asleep in his bed asleep in their bed as he brings cold food, ginger ale and saltines for his swan to eat. He finds his swan vomiting in the bathroom. He puts the tray down and rubs his swan's back. Emma was gasping in exhaustion and leans into him. He cools off her head. "Thank you."
"You are welcome, love." Killian kisses her on the head. "We are seeing our baby, today." He rubs her abdominal.
Emma smiles. "Yes, we are. We are going to hear our baby's heartbeat today." He helps his wife back into bed and laid a tray of food to help with her morning sickness. "Thank you."
"You are welcome. You are my beautiful wife carrying our baby."
"Even though I am going to be a hormonal beach whale for the next 7 months?"
"I love you no matter what Emma. We are getting a baby after 7 months."
"Yes, but I am going to go through the changes."
"I am going to be right at your side, while you go through your changes. I am going to help you and our baby." He kisses her on the head. Emma ate as much as she can and fell back to sleep on Killian.
A few hours later, Hope wakes up seeing her parents still sleeping. "Mommy."
Henry hears his sister awake. "Little sis, are you hungry?"
"Yes, hungwy."
"Let's go have breakfast." Henry takes Hope downstairs to the kitchen. He made cheerios, with milk and chopped up bananas for both of them.
"Mommy."
"Mommy needs to rest. The baby makes mommy tired. She will wake up soon." They eat breakfast.
Killian wakes up and gently lays his swan on their bed. He leans to Emma's abdominal. "Baby, this is your Daddy. We are all so excited to see you on the sonogram today. Your big brother and your big sister is going to see you today with Dada and Mommy." He kisses Emma's abdominal. "We all love you, baby Swan-Jones." Emma smiles hearing Killian talking to their baby. He goes downstairs to play with Hope and talk with Henry.
In the afternoon, the Swan-Jones family were driving in the yellow bug on the hospital. Killian was driving since Emma was still having morning sickness and had to drink so much water before her appointment. When they parked in the parking lot, Killian got Hope out of her carseat. "No."
"We are going to see the baby, Hope. Mommy's doctor is going to show us a special picture of our baby inside of Mommy."
"Tay Mommy."
"We are all staying with Mommy at her appointment." They walked inside and went to Emma's doctor's office. Emma signed in and sat with her family.
"Mommy." She puts Hope on her lap and gives Hope her milk, in her sippy cup. She kisses Hope on the head.
"Mom, are you okay?"
"I really need to pee but I need to have a full bladder for the sonogram."
"You will be in there soon, Mom." Hope needed a diaper change.
"Swan, I got our Hope." Killian takes Hope and the diaper bag to the bathroom.
Allison enters the office. "Hi, Emma."
"Hi, Allison." They hug.
Henry hugs Allison. "Hi, Aunt Allison."
"Hi, Henry."
"What are you doing on this floor?"
"To visit my best friend. How is my littlest niece or nephew?" She places her hand on Emma's abdominal.
Emma smiles. "Your little niece or nephew is causing me so much morning sickness."
"That is a good sign."
"I know. I am 8 weeks today. We are going to hear the baby's heartbeat today."
Killian returns with Hope who sees Allison. "Auntie!"
Allison scooped Hope into her arms. "Hi, little niece. Your Mommy told me you are going to see the baby today!"
"Baby!"
Emma holds Hope. "You are excited to see the baby right?"
"Yes!" Hope hugs her Mommy.
"You are staying with me."
"Hope, are you excited to be a big sister?
"Yes!"
A nurse comes by, "Emma Swan-Jones."
"Coming."
"Emma, I will talk to you later." They hug. Killian walked with his three loves in. Henry holds Hope in the hallway. Killian stayed next to his wife at takes her jeans off and wrapped a blanket to cover her legs.
Dr.Claire sees Henry and Hope. "Hi, Henry."
"Hi, Dr.Claire. Hope say hi."
"Hi."
"Hi, Hope."
"We are here to see the sonogram of our sibling."
"I will let you two in after I examine your Mom." Dr.Claire enters the room. "Hi, Emma."
"Hi, Dr.Claire."
"I saw Henry and Hope outside. I told them they can come in after I examine you and do blood work." She takes Emma's blood, Killian was holding Emma's hand.
"I really need to pee."
"You will have your sonogram soon, Emma. I am going to examine you next."
Emma was nervous. Killian rubs her hand. "Emma, everything is going to be okay, love. I am right here." Dr.Claire examines Emma. They hear Hope outside in the hall running making Emma smile. "Everything is normal. I can hear Hope outside."
Emma chuckles. "Hope is excited to see her sibling. Also she loves playing with Henry."
"You can get settled for the sonogram. I can get Henry and Hope."
Emma gets her legs out of the stirrups and covers her legs with the blanket.
Killian held his swan's hand. "I am right here."
"Good,I am a little nervous."
"Everything is going to be okay with our baby, Emma. He or she takes after it's Mommy and Daddy as being fighters." He kisses her on the head.
Henry brings Hope inside the room. "Mommy!"
"Hope!" Killian puts Hope on the table.
"Mommy." She pats her Mommy's face.
"I am okay, sweetie. We are going to see the baby inside my tummy. They have a special machine to see the baby inside my tummy."
Dr.Claire enters the room. "Now, that everyone is here, we can have the sonogram. Henry you and Hope can be on Emma's other side." Henry goes on his Mom's side, putting Hope on his lap. "Mom, we are here with you."
"I know. Are you excited to see your new sibling?"
"Yes."
"See baby."
"We are going to see the baby now, sweetie." Hope clapped her hands making her Mommy smile. The lights dimmed down, Emma rolled up her shirt to expose her belly as Killian was at her side.
"This gel is going to be cold. Emma." Dr.Claire squeezes gel onto Emma's belly and puts the doppler onto Emma's belly and moves it around.
"That is what is going to help see the baby, little sis." They hear the heartbeat which was a loud sound that took over the whole room.
"That is a strong heartbeat." Emma was in tears of joy having a healthy baby inside of her.
"Our little bean has a strong heartbeat."
"Yes,our baby does." They kiss.
"That is the heartbeat of the baby, little sis."
"Baby!"
"Now, let's see your baby." Dr.Claire moves the doppler around and looks at the screen until she sees the baby. "There is your baby, Emma."
Emma began crying. "Our baby is healthy?"
"Yes, Emma. It has a strong heartbeat and is healthy."
Emma looks at Killian who was crying. He cannot believe that he is going to be a Daddy again from the very beginning with his true love."Our baby is healthy."
"Yes, it has a strong heartbeat just like it's Mommy's." They kiss. Dr.Claire took pictures.
Emma turns to Hope and Henry."Hope on the screen that is our baby growing inside of me."
"Baby!"
"That is our baby, Hope. You are going to be a big sister."
"Dr.Claire?"
"Yes, Henry?"
"When can we know the gender?"
"That is up to your Mom, Henry but the earliest is 12 weeks by a blood test to confirm the gender."
"Mom, can we find out early?"
Emma chuckles. "I will think about it,kid." Dr.Caire leaves the room. "Killian, our baby is healthy."
"I told you, love, that we are going to have another little one." They kiss.
Emma wipes off the gel from her abdominal. Killian hugs his wife. "Baby Swan-Jones. Mommy, daddy, Henry and Hope all saw you on the sonogram machine and you have a strong heartbeat which means you are healthy."
Hope reaches out to their Mom."Baby." Henry puts Hope on the bed. "Baby."
"Yes, baby, Hope."
Hope kisses her on Mommy's belly. "Luv you."
"Very good, little love." Killian kisses Emma's abdominal. "Little bean, this is your Daddy. You have a very strong heartbeat." He kisses her abdominal.
"Mommy." Hope hugs her Mommy.
Henry joins their hug. "Mom,the baby is healthy which is a good sign."
"Yes, it is a very good sign."
"Baby sis or brother, this is your big brother. We saw you on the sonogram. You are going to be so cute." He kisses his Mom's abdominal.
Emma smiles love seeing her children excited for their sibling to come. Dr.Claire gave the sonogram photos to Emma. She goes to the nearest bathroom. The family left the hospital. Killian walked with his swan as Henry carried his sister to their car. When the family arrives home, Henry does his schoolwork, while Emma and Hope napped. Killian went to the sheriff's station to do some work and patrol. When he returned home, Henry was cooking dinner. "Hi, son."
"Hi, Dad. I figured I would start cooking dinner for us. Hope is playing with Mom in the backyard."
"Thanks, lad." He helps Henry cook.
Emma was pushing Hope on the swing. "Whee!" Killian sees his two loves outside. "Dada!" Emma stops the swing so Hope can run to Killian. "Dada!"
Killian scooped Hope into his arms. "Hi, Hope. Did you have a fun time with Mommy?"
"Yes."
"Swan, it is time for dinner. Henry and I make spaghetti tacos."
"Ooh, I want to try and see if I can keep it down." Killian wrapped his arm around his swan. "I missed you."
"I was only gone for a few hours."
"I...we missed you."
Killian smiles as he places his hand on her abdominal. "I missed my three loves." They kiss.
"Mommy." Emma holds Hope. "Luv you."
"I love you, Hope." The family had dinner together. Emma let Hope sit on her lap as they ate.
At night, Emma and Killian were snuggling in their bedroom when Henry and Hope were reading his storybook in her bedroom. Emma and Killian hear a loud bang and both of their kids screaming. They rush into Hope's room seeing the window is destroyed and see a flying ship in the sky and the storybook was left behind. Emma's nightmare happened both of her children are gone. "HENRY, HOPE!!!"
Killian holds his wife who began to cry. "We are going to get our children back, Emma." He just know a villain took their children. He and his wife are going to get them back.
