Killian got up extra early to get ready for work, his two loves were still asleep, Hope was sleeping in between them. He kisses his swan on the head. Emma wakes up. "Hey, you.""Hi, swan." They kiss. "I have an early shift.""Stay safe.""I will, love." They kiss. Killian did not get a call from work, he was following the plan that he, Regina and Charming spoke about last night. He drove the family car to the Storybrooke hospital to the psych ward to visit his mother in law, it is his job to make sure his family stays safe. Killian goes to the basement of the hospital. "I am here to see Snow White." He shows his sheriff badge and is led by the nurse to Snow White's cell. "Snow White, you have a visitor." She opens the door, Killian enters the psych ward room. Snow White sees her son-in-law. "Killian? What are you doing here?""I am here to see you. How are you feeling?""I want to leave here. Please let me out.""Did you realize what you have done to Emma and Hope?""I just wanted to prove to Emma that I can take care of Hope! I want to be back in her life. "You do not steal your sick granddaughter to get your daughter's trust back. It is clear that you still do not realize what have you done was wrong." Killian leaves the psych ward.Back at the Swan-Jones home, Henry checks on his Mom and sister, Hope was awake. "Dada?" Hope began to cry. Henry gets Hope from their bed, "Hope. Don't cry, Daddy will be back. He did not leave you. You have Mommy and me with you." Hope hugs her brother. "Henwy." "Mommy is sleeping, we have to be quiet. Do you want to play with your new toys or read a book?""T-t...""Toys? Okay." Henry carries his sister downstairs and she goes straight to her rocking horse. Henry makes sure she gets on it safely. "Hope, once upon a time when Mommy, Daddy and Henry were in King Arthur's realm...." Emma wakes up smiling hearing Hope and Henry downstairs playing without Hope being upset. She takes a shower before she heads downstairs and finds her two children in the kitchen which was a mess, Hope was covered in flour. "What is going on here?" "Hi, Mommy!" Hope hugs her Mommy. Emma smiles as she takes some of the flour off her daughter."Hi,Hopey, why are you covered with flour?" Hope babbles. "Oh really? Baking?" "Mom, Hope, and I wanted to cook you breakfast. Well, we wanted to bake chocolate chip muffins but Hope got her hands on the flour."Emma chuckles. "I know we have extra flour so you two can bake. It is in the lower cabinet." Hope babbles. "I can help you mix your ingredients, Henry is in charge." Hope clapped her covered flour hands. Emma laughs. "You are getting me covered with flour, buttercup." She sat with Hope on his lap,Henry let Hope mixed the eggs and rest of the wet ingredients with Emma's help. Henry set the oven on and with the timer and made sure of the dry ingredients were measured correctly. He let Hope mix all of the ingredients together. Henry pours the mixture into muffin pans and puts it in the oven. Hope babbles. "Hope, when it is cooked. You can have the first one." Hope smiles. "Kid, she loves baking with you.""She loves baking with both of us." Henry hugs his Mom and sister. Hope began to cry."Sweetie, are you hungry for breakfast?" She puts Hope in her high chair, makes Hope oatmeal with blueberries on top. She gave Hope her oatmeal with regular milk in a bottle. "You can have a muffin when it is done baking in the oven." Hope smiles. "Mom, are you okay?""Yes, I am." She hugs her son. "I will eat breakfast with you.""I am also thinking we can have scrambled eggs.""Sure, I can make them.""Where is D-A-D?""He has a case. He got called in really early in the morning." "I can cook scrambled eggs.""Are you sure?""Yes, Mom. I can cook eggs. I want to cook breakfast for you.""Why?""I want to practice my cooking skills." "Okay." She sits down next to Hope who was covered with oatmeal and blueberries. "Hopey, are you enjoying your breakfast?" Hope smiles. "Yes, you are." She kisses Hope on the cheek. Hope reaches for her Mommy, Emma puts Hope on her lap and she drinks her bottle. Emma kisses Hope on the head, Hope still loves to snuggle with her. Henry cooks his Mom scrambled eggs and sets her plate. "Thank you, Henry.""You are welcome." They ate breakfast. Hope was squirming around in her Mommy's lap. "Hope, what are you doing little sis?" Hope babbles "Trying to go play?""I do not want your sister to get flour all over the house. Hope, you need a bubble bath. Melody is coming over to play." Hope screams. "Mom, she is very excited to have her best friend over.""Yes, she is very excited." Henry cleans up the kitchen as Emma brings Hope upstairs. She runs Hope a bath and Hope tries to escape the bathroom. "Oh, no, little duckling, you are not getting flour all over the carpet." She takes Hope's clothes off and puts her in the tub. Hope squealed playing with her bath toys and the bubbles. Emma smiles and thinks about how much of her daughter takes after her Daddy, a little pirate. The doorbell rang. Henry went to answer the door; it was Ariel and Melody. "Hi, Ariel. Hi Melody." Melody babbles. "Hi, Henry.""Come in. Hope is taking a bubble bath. She got into flour while we were baking muffins." Melody babbles. "Yes, Melody, you are here to play with Hope." Ariel kisses Melody on the head. Emma brought down Hope changed into her ducking dress. "Hi, Ariel.""Hi, Emma.""Mel-Mel!""Melody is here to play with you, sweetie." She lets Hope walk to Melody and the two friends hug. "Hope, you and Melody can play with your toys." Hope leads Melody to the living room. The timer went off."Mom, I got it." Henry goes into the kitchen. Hope and Melody were playing with toys. "Mom, they are ready.""Ariel, I will be right back." She goes into the kitchen and smells the baked muffins. "Henry, they smell delicious.""They are still hot." They watched Hope sharing her toys with Melody. "Hope loves sharing her toys with Melody.""Yes, she loves playing with her best friend." Emma gets a phone call from Killian, Henry goes into the living room. "Hey, how is work?""How..how is Hope?""She is playing with Melody. Are you okay?""Rough case. I just want to check on Hope.""She is happy playing with Melody...Are you okay?" Killian sighs. "No, you are not. Do you need me to come in?""I..." Emma goes to the backyard. Hope does not see her Mommy and begins to cry. Henry holds his sister. "Hope, Mommy is only in the backyard." He shows their Mom by pointing at her by the window. Hope still was crying. "Hopey, the muffins that we baked are ready to eat. I know Melody wants to try your baking."Ariel gets her daughter. "Hope, I know Melody wants to try your muffins that you and Henry baked. they look really good." They bring the babies in the kitchen.Emma was in the backyard. "Killian, you are scaring me. Are you enjoying your muffin?" Hope babbles. She takes Hope out of her high chair and lets her sit on her lap. Henry gives his Mom a muffin."Melody is enjoying her muffin that her best friend made. You are going to play on the Jolly Roger." Emma sets down Hope who leads Melody around the Jolly Roger, climbing onto ropes, barrels, and boxes. Hope babbles, Melody cannot climb. Emma sets Melody onto the box. "Hope, Melody cannot climb like you can yet sweetie." "Mel-Mel." Hope hugs Melody. Emma smiles and takes pictures of Hope and Melody hugging and playing around the Jolly Roger, which Emma was loving."Emma, Hope is less upset than she was yesterday at her party.""Hope always is happy with Melody. She is having fun with her best friend.""That is why we decided to stay a few more days, I know Melody will cheer up Hope at her birthday, yesterday and today.""Thank you for staying in Storybrooke a little longer.""Emma, when Belle told me what happened, I wanted to help out. Killian decided to drive to the Jolly Roger to clear his head after what he went through with his mother in law at the psych ward of how much she thinks about his wife than his daughter's safety. He arrives at his second home hearing babbling, he smiles seeing Hope and Melody playing around the Jolly Roger. Hope sees her Daddy and runs to him, Emma smiles. "Dada! Dada!" He kneels down and scoops Hope into his arms. "Hi, little pirate. Are you having fun playing with Melody?" Hope babbles. He gave Hope kisses her on the head as she was hugging him. "Hope missed you this morning.""Aye, I can tell." "I hope you don't mind, I had a feeling hope and Melody will both have fun on our second home."Killian smiles. "It is our second home, you don't have to ask me to have play dates on our second home. I can tell our little lass is having fun.""Dada?" Hope squirms and he puts her down."Yes, Hope?" Hope takes his hook and leads him to Melody, where they had a little fort with Hope's toys in it with a blanket on top of boxes. Melody and Hope both babble. Emma wrapped her arms around her husband's waist. "She takes after her Daddy.""Aye she loves her second home as her Daddy and Mommy." They kiss. Melody began to cry. She is just cranky needing her nap." Hope puts her hand on her friend. "She will feel better after she has her nap, Hope. I know Melody had so much fun with you today." Hope smiles. "Emma, we need to do this again very soon.""Yes, they love their play dates." Hope babbles. "Melody says bye-bye to Hope." Melody cried more. Hope began to cry. He puts her two Pluto dolls next to her and went downstairs to the living room, Emma had hot rum in a mug for herself and flask for him waiting for him on the couch. "Hot rum? Captain"Killian smiles. Now, I know how you feel every time, you fight with her." Emma holds his hook. "It is bloody awful, it is like shouting in a room where no one is listening to you, I bloody hate it. I am sorry Emma that every time you defend us your family to her she does not listen..." Emma hugs her husband. "Killian, I get the strength to defend my loved ones because I want to protect my family. I always have you one my side which makes me protect our family from my mom easier. She cleans Hope's face from the frosting and takes Hope up to her room seeing Killian working on a pink and purple kitchen set with plastic forks, spoons, toasters, pots and pans, microwave, oven and a mini-refrigerator. Killian smiles love teaching his little love new words. After Killian was finished building the kitchen set, Hope was babbling away and exploring her kitchen set. Emma took pictures of Killian and Hope and went downstairs. Henry was downstairs working on his homework. "Mom?""Yes, Henry?""Can you help me with my homework?'"Sure, kid." Emma sits down next to her son and helps him with his homework assignment until it was time to leave for Allison's house. She goes upstairs finding Hope and Killian playing with her kitchen set. "Killian, we should be getting ready.""Aye, yes. Hope we are going to Auntie Allison's house." Hope screams and runs to her Mommy."Hopey, you are excited to celebrate Allison's birthday?" Hope babbles. She holds her daughter. "You need a clean diaper before we go, little duckling." Emma changes Hope diaper while Hope was babbling away. They gave her kisses on her cheeks at the same time, Henry heard Hope laughing and took a picture of his sister with their parents. Emma drove her family over to her best friend's house. "Auntie.""Yes, Hope. We are here to celebrate Auntie Allison's birthday. Do you think she will like our gift?" "Yes." Henry takes his sister from her car seat and takes her out of the car. Killian got the birthday gifts from the trunk. "Swan, all of these gifts are for Allison?""Yes, they are all for her. She helped all of us and we want to make her birthday special." "Auntie...gift.""Hope, you can hold Auntie's gift. You can give it to her." They went to the Cameron's house door. Killian held Hope and let her ring the bell. Lizzie answered the door. Hope clapped her hands. Allison opens her gift which was an Alex and Ani bracelet that had two charms, auntie and godmother. Allison was in happy tears. "Aww, Hope." She hugs her goddaughter. "I love my new bracelets. I am going to wear them right now." Allison puts them on her wrist. "It fits perfectly." Hope babbles. "Hope loves jewelry like Killian and I." They continued to talk. Killian drove the yellow bug to the Rabbit Hole bar, where he saw his father in law with Ted. "Killian. Good that you are here.""I know why Ted is acting like this, Allison had an unexpected miscarriage last night..it is also her birthday."Charming was concerned.
