Happy Beginning Captain Swan

Melody's Birthday

It was February 21, Melody's second birthday. Emma and Killian were setting sail to the Merkingdom with their children, Belle and Gideon to attend Melody's birthday party. Killian was being over-protective of Emma, not letting her lift anything and making sure she was not feeling too sick on their journey. They sailed through a portal, Emma was holding Hope and gripping to the pole, Henry was holding onto the steering wheel as Killian held his swan. "Swan, the lad and I got the sails. You need to rest."
Emma hugs her husband, "You are the best."
"Aye, I know." They kiss. Hope was walking around the deck with Gideon.
"Emma, I can watch these two."
"Thanks, Belle." Emma goes to her captain quarters. Hope began crying. She turns around and gets Hope. "I am just going to lie down. You want to lie down with me?"
"Yes." She takes her daughter into the captain quarters with her. Hope was cuddling with her Mommy in the captain quarters. "You are safe, sweetie. We are going to Melody's castle for her birthday party."
Hope hugs her Mommy. "Baby." She pats her Mommy's belly.
Emma smiles. "The baby is growing in my belly. By this time next year, your baby sister or brother is going to come with us to Melody's kingdom. Are you excited to see Melody?"
"Yes! Pway with Mel-Mel!"
Belle and Gideon enter the captain's quarters. "Hope, pway!"
"No, tay Mommy." Hope hugs her Mommy.
"Hope, you can play with Gideon here with your toys. I am going to be right here."
"No." Hope hugs her Mommy. "Tay with you and baby...."
"You are staying here with me, sweetie." She hugs her daughter.
Belle looks at Gideon, "Gideon, Hope will play with you later when we arrive at Melody's castle. You can play with toys." He goes to the treasure chest. Belle joins them on the bed.
"Belle, I am sorry about Hope, she has been clingy since returning from Neverland."
"Mommy."
"Yes?"
"Tay with you?"
"Yes, you are staying with me. I am talking to Belle."
"Hope, you are staying with your Mommy. Emma, I know that you are..."
"Pregnant?" Emma smiles. "Yes, I am."
Belle smiles. "I had a feeling something was going on and I told Rumple before you all left."
"He told me that you knew when we were sailing to Neverland." Hope moves around.
"Hope, I love your dress."
"Same dwess Mommy."
"You and your Mommy are wearing matching dresses." Hope hugs her Mommy.
"I bought these floral dresses for Hope and me online. I was like this is something Hope and I can match in. Hope saw me in my floral dress as we were leaving. She told me she wanted to wear her dress to Melody's party. I had to change her outfit before we left the house. We are wearing matching dresses." She hugs her daughter.
"You and Hope will be easy to find each other in the crowd at the party."
Emma laughs. "Yes, that is very true. I always wanted to match with my daughter, now I am doing that."
"Match dwess Mommy!"
"Yes, we are wearing matching dresses today. I love matching with my mini-me." She gave Hope kisses on her cheek making Hope smile. She hugs her daughter who goes to Gideon to play. "Ee-on!" They play.
"You are going to be a great Mom again Emma. You are an amazing Mom to Henry and Hope."
"Just this time, I will have a three-year-old, a newborn, and an adult. I never thought I would be having another baby around the time Henry is the same age as I was when I had him."
Hope gives her Mommy her Pluto doll. "Hold Pluto, Mommy."
"I can watch your Pluto doll for you, sweetie."
"Ank you." Hope goes back to play with Gideon. Emma smiles and rubs her abdominal cannot wait to be a Mom to her next baby, a very sweet little pirate.
Henry enters the captain's quarters, "Mom, we are almost here."
Hope goes to her brother. "Henwy, Mel-Mel castle?"
"Yes. We are nearby Melody's caste."
Hope tugs her brother's hand out of the room. Everyone sees the castle that the Jolly Roger was approaching to land. "Mel-Mel castle!"
Killian was smiling at his daughter so excited. "Hope, you are going to see Melody soon." Hope hugs her Daddy's leg making him smile. "Eer to castle, Dada. Eer!" She points towards her ocean princess best friend castle.
"Aye, aye, little pirate." Emma smiles seeing her daughter being bossy like her and being a pirate. The Jolly Roger lands ashore of the merkingdom. Henry and Killian lowered the anchor while Belle lowered the sails Hope ran off deck. She scooped her daughter into her arms. "Whoa, whoa little duckling. Hope, you cannot run on deck."
"Mel-Mel."
"Yes,we are going to see Melody. You cannot run on deck, you can get boos-boos, sweetie."
"No, boo-boos."
They get off the ship and see Prince Eric, Ariel and Melody and Max. "Hi, Ariel!"
"Hi, Emma!" They hug.
"Hope!"
"Mel-Mel!" Her Mommy sets her down and hugs her best friend.
"Emma, I haven't seen you in a long time. How are you?"
"I am good."
"I love the matching dresses that you and Hope are wearing."
Emma smiles. "Thank you."
"Mommy, Mel-Mel, happy birthday."
"Yes, Hope, it is Melody's birthday."
Emma kneels down to Melody, remembering how she helped Ariel to get to the hospital in time."Happy birthday, Melody."
"Thank you, Em-em." Melody hugs her.
Emma smiles. "You are very welcome. I helped your Mommy get to the hospital in time to have you. You and Hope have been best friends ever since you were born."
"Best fwiend." Melody hugs Hope.
"You two are ocean princess best friends." She took pictures of them hugging on her iPhone. She has not helped a small baby in her arms since Melody was born; she cannot wait to hold her baby that she is currently growing in her arms 7 months from now. Everyone else arrives on shore. Belle greeted Ariel and Eric next and then Henry. Killian sees his swan with the two best friends.
"Hi, Killian."
"Hi, Ariel and Prince Eric." He hugs his swan. "I know our two lasses will be having so much fun today."
"Hope!" Melody holds Hope's hand and they walk to the beach with Max following them.
"Aye, that just started." Emma chuckles. Everyone walked toward the castle.
"Mom, I know Hope will be sneaking out of the party to go to the ocean."
"Knowing your sister, I am not surprised. We will have to keep an extra eye on her."
"They are ocean princesses, they love the water. It is bound to happen."
Emma smiles. "Are you excited being in another realm?"
"Yes, a realm that is not Neverland and in the sunshine not cold winter Maine." Henry hugs his Mom.
Hope goes to her Mommy. "Mommy. Dwess off."
"So you can get wet?"
"Yes water!" Emma smiles and takes Hope's dress off and puts sunblock on her. "Dada!!" Hope tugs her Daddy's hook. "Water!"
Killian held her hand knowing she was having morning sickness. "Swan, I can watch the two lasses. Are you okay?"
"I am a little..."
"Let's get you some water."
"Killian, I can get her water inside. We can get the girls towels. They are going to need them."
"Mommy."
"Hope, I will be nearby sweetie. You can go have fun with your oceea princess best friend with Dada." Hope hugs her Mommy and goes with Killian and Melody to the ocean.
Henry kneels to his little uncle. "Gideon, do you want to play in the ocean?"
"No, Henwy."
"We can build a sandcastle."
"Yes!" Belle, Henry and Gideon went to play in the sand.
Ariel lead Emma inside the kitchen, seeing everyone cooking for the birthday celebration. Emma smelled the food and rushed to the sink to vomit.
"Emma...Carlotta, can you get her a chair?"
"Yes, your majesty."
"No.. I am fine..." She vomits more.
Carlotta brought a chair and gave Emma some water. "Here you go, dear, Princess Emma."
"Thank you, Carlotta." She sat down and drank water.
"Emma, do you have a stomach virus?"
"I am more like over 10 weeks pregnant.."
Ariel screamed and hugged her knowing she was having a hard time conceiving over the past few years after Hope. "Congratulations! I am so happy for you and Killian! You two are great parents to Henry and Hope."
"Thank you! We are all very excited. Hope is going to be a big sister in a few months!"
"Emma!" Ariel hugs her. "I am so happy for you and Killian! He told me about your return to Neverland."
"He was very very overprotective of me in Neverland. He even hired Mulan to come with us to be my personal bodyguard."
"He is a very caring overprotective husband."
Emma smiles. "Yes, he is the best. I only used my magic to speed up the boat to knock out a Lost Boy before he hurt Hope."
"You are an amazing mother Emma. I am really happy for you."
"Thank you, Ariel." They hug. "I am only not having morning sickness on the Jolly Roger."
"I am not surprised you all are pirates."
"Yes, I am carrying a little pirate after all." They both laughed. When Emma felt better they went to get towels for their daughter. They found Killian and Hope. "Hope, you are making a trail of water."
"Mommy! Potty!"
Emma scooped Hope into her arms. "Where is the closest restroom?"
"I will show you." Emma follows Ariel quickly to the bathroom. "It is okay, Emma about the water trail. There are always trails of water from the ocean here."
"Thank you, Ariel." Emma goes into the bathroom with Hope helping her with the toilet since it was different from their world toilet. "You are doing such a good job, Hope."
"Poop."
"I will clean you up when you are done."
"No poop in water."
"That is right. No poop or peeing in the ocean. You are going to add a new sticker when we get home. You will get a prize for your poop in the potty!"
in the hallway, "We are potty training Hope. She is doing a good job telling us when we need to go."
Ariel smiles at Killian. "Emma told me that you are going to be a Dad again."
"Yes,I am. I cannot wait to be a Dad again!"
"Congratulations! I know Emma was having miscarriages and I am really happy for you both."
"Thank you, Ariel."
"Emma got morning sickness in the kitchen, that is how I knew."
"Aye, she's been having morning sickness just like when she was pregnant with Hope."
"Do you think you are having another daughter?"
Killian smiles."Maybe? I am happy if we have another lass or little lad. Emma did not have a chance to raise Henry that small. If we had a little lad, I would have a mini-me since Hope is Emma's mini-me. Whether the baby is a lad or lass, we are going to be so happy." Emma carrying Hope wrapped in a towel. "Swan I can hold her."
"Killian, I can hold our little duckling."
"Tay with Mommy."
"Killian, we need to get Hope a gift when we get home?"
"Why?"
"Poop on potty, Dada."
"That is my little pirate." He takes Hope and spun her around. Ariel and Emma smile at Killian.
"Hope!" Melody was leading Henry to them.
"Melody you are right. You know where to find my sister."
"Hope best fweind. Em-em!" Melody goes to Emma and Hope. "Em-em, Hope okay?"
Emma smiles hearing her nickname from Melody. "Yes, she is okay, Melody. Birthday girl, Hope has a birthday gift for you to open."
"Open gift!"
"I know the workers brought it up to Melody's room." They went to Melody's room seeing a toddler bed. Hope and Melody bounced on the bed and began talking. "Now which one is for Melody?"
"Ariel, this is from us." Henry shows her their gift.
"Thank you, Henry."
"The two bouncing ocean princesses. I know the birthday girl wants to open her gift from Hope."
"Gift!" Melody gets off her bed and goes to her present. Hope goes to her Mommy, Emma holds her daughter. Ariel helps Melody open her gift which is a new pink floral dress,a few plush animals and a fuzzy blanket. "Melody, what do you think?"
"Luv it." Melody hugs her new animal plushies.
"What do you say to Hope, Emma and Killian?"
"Ank you Hope, Em-em, Killy." Killian and Emma smile hearing Melody's nicknames for them.
Emma smiles. "You are welcome, Melody."
"Aye, you are very welcome, Melody." Belle and Gideon enter the room to give Melody their present.
Melody opened her gift which was a collection of books. "Books!" She hugs Gideon. "Ank you."
'Welcome."
The families get ready for the party. Killian gave Hope a bubble bath, Emma changed Hope into her red floral dress. "Wed flower dwess."
"That is right, Hope You are wearing a red floral dress." Hope hugs her Mommy. Killian gives Emma a glass of ginger ale. "Thank you."
"You look like you need to rest, love."
"I am tired. I still feel sick."
"Mom, you have time to rest before the party starts. Little sis, H&H time?"
"Yes!" Henry takes Hope from the bed. "Wead."
"Yes, we can read a book. I have my storybook with me."
"Mel-Mel.Ee-on."
"With Melody and Gideon." He takes Hope into another room to find Belle and Gideon.
"Ee-on!!" Hope goes to him and gives him a hug.
"Gideon, we are about to have storytime. Do you want to join us?"
"Yes!"
"Henwy, Mel-Mel."
Belle kneels to Hope. "Melody is getting ready for her party."
"Okay." Henry lets his sister sit on his lap as he read to her and Gideon, August's story.
Emma lies down on the bed. Kilian joins his pregnant swan on the bed and hugs her with his hook on her abdominal. Emma began crying.
"Emma, what is it?"
"It is just...you are here with me. We are having another baby... I have the best husband ever...you are always there for me..." Emma cries more and she grips his arms as her husband hugs her. "I am not alone..."
"I am staying here with you, Emma. I would not be anywhere else in all the realms but with you, or little baby on the way and our two children. I love you so much."
Emma felt all of the love from him plus the exhaustion she had from being pregnant and morning sickness. "I love you so much. I am so lucky to have you as my husband."
"I am so lucky to have the most beautiful lass in all the realms to be my wife and mother of my children. I am so happy that we are having another little baby on the way." He kisses Emma on the way. He hears Emma snoring, he was smiling knowing Emma was getting the rest she needed.
Grimsby enters the room seeing Emma and Killian both fast asleep, he goes to the next room to where Belle, Gideon, Hope and Henry were. "Everyone, must go to the ballroom. The party is about to begin."
"Thank you, Grimsby." Belle combs her son's hair.
"Sir Henry. Your parents are sleeping."
"I will wake them up." Henry and Hope go to their room. "Dad." Killian wakes up. "We are needed in the ballroom."
"Aye, that party is starting."
"Yes."
"Emma..."
"Mommy!" Emma wakes up hearing her daughter. "Mommy,ake!"
"Emma, are you feeling better?"
"I just needed more rest."
"Mom, the party is about to begin."
"Let me just fix my hair quickly." She brushes her hair.
"Mommy, hair!"
Emma smiles. "I can do your hair."
"Bwaid, pwease."
"A braid for my little buttercup." Emma braids Hope's hair into a dutch braid. Killian shows Hope's hair in a mirror.
"Pweety. Ank you Mommy." Hope hugs her Mommy.
"You are very welcome, Hope." She hugs her daughter and kisses her on the head.
"Little pirate princess, we need to go to the party." Killian held Hope on his hip and the family went to the ballroom, where Grimsby was greeting every guest.
"Announcing the Swan-Jones family. Princess Savior Emma, Pirate Prince Killian, Prince pirate Henry and Princess pirates Hope." Everyone clapped as the family were going down the ballroom steps. Killian kept looking at his wife knowing she was still sick. Emma held his hook. "I am okay, honey."
They arrived downstairs, "Down,Dada."
"Aye, little love." Hope walks around seeing all the people.
"Hope."
"Mom, I can keep an eye on Hope. Knowing my sister she is looking for her best friend." Henry follows Hope. She finds Gideon. "Ee-on." Max barks and licks Hope. "Max!" Hope was laughing.
Killian hugs his wife. "Hope is not going to get lost here, love."
"I get worried, I am a Mom. She is not used to being around a lot of people or in this realm."
"She is going to alright, love. Henry is with her." He sees Hope with Gideon and Belle. "She is with Gideon and Belle, swan." He places his hook on her abdominal. "How are you and our littlest pirate is doing?"
"The baby is doing alright, no movement yet but causing me to be sick."
"Do you want to go lie down?"
"No, not now. I want to be here for the party. It is our daughter's best friend's birthday. After all, I got Ariel in the hospital on time to have Melody." Emma began thinking, Hope is happier out of Storybrooke, maybe they can move.
Killian knew there was something was on his swan's mind. "Emma? What are you thinking of?"
"I am just thinking Hope is happier here and happier over the townline."
He faces his swan. "Emma, are you saying I think you are saying, moving?" Horns were blown and everyone was looking at the staircase where Grimsby was standing, Henry brings Hope back to their parents. "Announcing, Princess Melody." Everyone clapped as Ariel, Melody, and Prince Eric."Everyone clapped.
"Mommy, Mel-Mel!"
"Your best friend is here." She sets Hope down who goes straight to her best friend. Henry follows his sister.
"Swan, before we were interrupted. What were you trying to say..."
Emma was mad. "I am not saying anything!" Emma walks away.
"Swan!" Killian chases after his wife who was leaving the room by the ocean. She stood facing the ocean covering her arms. "Emma."
"How can you think that I want us to move?!"
"Emma, you wanted to move with Henry after defeating Zelena. You are thinking of taking your daughter's safety, like you did with Henry."
"I was just thinking, Killian! We literally just rescued our two children from Neverland! I hate that my Mom is scaring our daughter every time we go out. If one of our baby's do not feel safe in our town, how can I feel safe? I cannot lose Hope, Henry and this baby, Killian. I just don't know if we can raise our new baby in Storybrooke. I do not want our three kids to be in danger. "She began crying.
"Emma." He hugs his swan.
She sits on the sand and places her hand on her abdominal. "I do not want this baby in danger all the time like it's big sister and big brother." She looks down at her abdominal. "Baby, Mommy does not want you to be in danger all the time. She wants you to be happy and feel safe where we live. I want you to be able to play with your big brother and big sister outside of our house where no one can take you away from us which happened to your sister. I do not want you to get kidnapped by villains like your brother and sister had gone through."
Killian looks at his swan knowing he wants to protect his family just as much as she does. He sits next to her. "Emma." He holds his swan's hands. "I want our children to be safe as much as you do. I hate whenever our children are in danger. I want them to feel safe outside of our house without being in danger too, love."
"I just noticed that everyone is happier out of Storybrooke, that is why I was thinking about moving."
"Emma, when you and I traveled back in time, you realized on our journey that Storybrooke was your home when we were reuniting your parents. Our home is in Storybrooke, in our own house, the town, and the Jolly Roger adventures. If we move out of Storybrooke, our children won't be able to sail. This new baby won't be able to learn how to sail or be on adventures with us to the Merkingdom. Hope won't be able to see her best friend often. The baby won't experience our family moments at home like Henry and Hope do have now at the house we chose together to raise our family in."
Emma knew her husband was right, Storybrooke was their home. "I just want our family safe in our home."
Killian hugs his wife. "We are going to that together. I do not want our children to be in danger, love. If that happens, you and I are going to save them like we do now. We are heros after all, love." He places his hand on her abdominal. "Our littlest one, is very lucky to have us as it's parents because we are going to give him or her so much love, happiness, and a normal family that we did not have as children. We are going to raise this littlest love just like its big brother and sister, Emma. A normal family life." Emma hugs him. He kisses her on the head. "I am on your side, Emma. We are team Swan-Jones."
"Yes, we are. We should be heading back in."
"Aye, we should." Killian helps his wife off from the sand. They held hand and hook.
"I was thinking..."
"Yes, love?"
"When I am in my 2nd trimester before I am in my 3rd trimester. Maybe we can take a family trip to New York City?"
"Aye, the big apple as a babymoon?"
"Maybe? But I do want Henry and Hope to come with our last family of 4 family vacation before this baby comes and Henry is in college."
"Aye, I know Henry will be coming on vacation with us while he is in college and comic con."
"You are right."
"I do think family vacation in June will be perfect." They return back inside seeing Hope, running around with Gideon, Melody and Max around the ballroom while other couples are dancing. Henry sees his parents. "Mom, Dad, Hope, Gideon and Melody has been chasing around the ballroom for the last twenty minutes. All Melody wanted to do was play with Hope and Gideon and not greet guests. Hope grabbed her hand and they just been running around ever since."
"They look like they are having so much fun."
"Aye, our little pirate is getting her energy out."
"Yes, I have a feeling by the time we are sailing home, she is going to be sleeping for the rest of the night."
"Mommy!" Hope runs to her Mommy, Emma scooped Hope Hope into her arms.
"Hi, little buttercup, are you having fun?"
"Yes." Hope lies her head on her Mommy. She kisses Hope on the head.
"Em-Em, Hope."
"She is resting for a little it, Melody. She is having so much fun with you."
"Em-em." Melody hugs Emma.
"Thank you, Melody, for your hug." She hugs Melody back, Killian takes a picture of his three loves with Melody.
"Hope, pway!!"
"Mel-Mel. Ee-on." Emma sets Hope back on the floor and Hope runs with Melody chasing Max.
"Swan, do you want to dance?"
Emma smiles. "Will I have my dance professional with me?"
"Aye, love. I am a master of dances." Emma chuckles as her husband guides her to the dance floor. "Luckily, you have me to guide you."
"Yes, you know more dances than me." He wrapped his arms around his swan and began dancing with her. "You are a natural."
"Aye, I learned. Because I had a feeling that I will be dancing in the future with my beautiful swan." Emma blushes. Henry takes pictures of his parents dancing with his camera. Hope goes to her brother. "Henwy, Dada Mommy."
Henry kneels down to his sister. "Yes, Mommy and Daddy are dancing, little sis." Hope clapped her hands. "Yay for Mommy and daddy."
"Yay!"
Emma glances at her children who were clapping for them. "Killian, we have a little audience."
"Aye, you mean our two children?"
"Yes."
"They love our dancing." He slightly dips her, making her laugh.
"Killian, I am with child."
He pulls her back up. "Aye, how can I forget?" He puts his hand on her abdominal. "I love our littlest love."
"Me too. He or she knows her daddy is a great dancer."
"Aye, I will teach him or her."
"I know you will."
"You look beautiful today"
"I do?"
"Aye, you always are beautiful every single day, especially now that you're glowing."
Emma blushes and hugs her husband. "You always know how to make me smile."
"Aye, that is part of my charm." They kiss.
The music stopped and changed songs. "Dada!!" Hope goes to her Daddy. "Dada dance. Pwease."
Killian smiles. "Aye, I do need to dance with my little pirate- princess." He looks at his swan. "Swan,do you mind me switching dance partners?"
"Not at all. Hope you will have fun dancing with Dada." Hope hugs her Daddy. Emma takes pictures of her husband and daughter dancing with Hope standing on his feet.
"Mom, do you want to dance?"
"Yes, Henry." They danced together. "You are getting good at dancing."
"Thanks, Mom. You too. I can see why Dad taught you when you two traveled back in time, from the pictures I saw in my storybook."
"Kid, you were at our wedding. You watched our first dance in our wedding."
"Yes, you are right. You are still a good dancer."
"Thanks, kid." They continue to dance. Emma felt nauseous.
"Mom." Killian goes to his son and wife.
"Swan.." he holds his wife. "Let's get you to our table."
"Dad, I will get her water." Killian lead her to a table to sit down.
Hope follows her parents. "Mommy." She hugs her legs.
"Your Mommy is going to be okay, little love."
Belle goes to the table. "Emma, do you need anything?"
"I am just really nauseous."
Belle takes Hope. "Hope, let's get your Mommy something to eat."
"No, tay Mommy." Hope hugs her Mommy's legs.
"Belle, Hope can stay with us."
"I will be right back."
Killian puts his daughter on his swan's lap. "There you go, Hope."
"Mommy." Hope hugs her Mommy. Belle went to get Emma something to eat. Killian wrapped his arms around his three loves. Emma leaned her head against his shoulder. Henry returns with ginger ale. "Mom, I got this for you."
"Thank you, Henry." She sips her drink. "I really needed it." Killian hugs his swan.
"Hope, Dada is going to stay with Mommy. You can play with Melody, Gideon and Henry."
"You sure?"
Killian and Emma both smile at their daughter. "Aye, yes little love. I am going to be staying with your Mommy and take good care of her. You can play with your friends, little love."
Hope hugs her Mommy. "Mommy is going to be right here watching you play, sweetie. You can have fun with your friends." Henry takes Hope from their parents. Killian hugs his swan. Emma sighs. "You are with me, love."
"I know. I just feel awful."
Belle returns with saltines. "Here you go, Emma."
"Thank you." Emma eats her saltines.
"You are welcome." Belle goes to Gideon.
Emma looks sicker and gets up. "Swan." He gently takes his swan out of the ballroom and outside.
Henry sees his parents going outside. "Little sis, are you hungry?"
"Yes."
"Let's get you something to eat."
"Henwy! Me too."
"Melody, I can get you something to eat too." He leads the two ocean princesses to the food table.
Ariel goes to the table. "Melody is Henry making you a plate?"
"Yes! Sit with Hope."
"You can sit with your best friend, birthday girl. I can take Melody's plate, Henry."
They walked Hope and Melody to the table. "Little sis, you have string beans, mashed potatoes."
"Chicken."
"That is right. You have chicken with your mashed potatoes and stringbeans."
Once Emma was outside, she felt better. "Thank you. I just needed fresh air."
"Too stuffy in there?"
"Yes. Our baby takes after it's Daddy because I am less sick by the ocean."
"Aye, you mean our little bean takes after it's Mommy because the ocean calms down it's Mommy." He rubs his sean's abdominal making Emma smile.
"I want to enjoy the party but my morning sickness is...."She sighs. "Exhausting." Killian hugs his wife. "Making a baby is hard."

"Aye, I am doing my job as your husband." They hug.
"Mommy!"
"Em-em!" Hoe and Melody go to Emma and Killian followed by Henry.
"Mommy here Henwy." Emma kneels down to her daughter. Hope hugs her Mommy.
"I told you, little sis. Mommy was only outside."
"Mommy okay?"
"Yes, sweetie, I just needed fresh air. The baby is making me feel sick."
"Baby piwate." She places her hand on her abdominal.
Emma smiles. "Yes, the baby is a little pirate who just wants me to be near the ocean. Like you did when you were growing inside of my belly." Hope hugs her Mommy.
Melody points at her best friend. "Henwy. Hope with Em-em."
"Yes, Hope is with our Mommy, Melody."
"Tay with you, Mommy."
"You can stay with me, baby girl. We need to go back inside for Melody's party." They see guests arriving outside. Chef Louie was bringing out the cake.
"Swan, I think it is time for the birthday cake."
"Ake!"
"Ake!" Hope follows Melody to the cake being set up.
Gideon goes to Melody. "Mel-mel, cake."
"Yes, Eeon ake!"
Ariel scoops her daughter into her arms. "We are going to sing Happy birthday then we can have cake."
They hear a big slash, the mermaids arrived. "Auntie mermaids." Melody goes to her Aunts, Attina holds Melody.
"Mommy,Dada mermaids!" Hope holds her Daddy's hook. "Mermaids,Dada!"
"I am coming, little love. We are going to see the mermaids."
"Hope, Aunties."
"Melody this is your best friend, Hope?"
"Yes! Best fwiend! Killy Dada Hope."
"Hello, mermaids."
Attina, "Hello, Killlian. We remember you from last year."
"Aye, I remember you all too."
"Every time Melody comes back her trip to see Hope, she tells us about her adventures on the Jolly Roger."
"Ariel and melody join my wife Emma and Hope at swimming lessons. They always play on our second home on the Jolly Roger or our house on land after their weekly swim class."
"Mel-Mel." Hope jumps and splashes Meldy. Melody laughs and follows Hope.
Henry hugs his Mom. "Are you okay?"
"I am feeling less nauseous. Thanks for keeping an eye on your sister throughout the party."
"Your welcome. I had fun with Hope and chasing her around with Melody and Gideon. I knew that Dad needed you."
Hope goes to her Mommy and big brother in her soaked dress. "Mommy! Henwy! Mermaids!" Hope holds her Mommy's hand.
"I am coming, sweetie." Henry follows his sister and Mom to the ocean. "Atina, my Mommy."
"Hi, Attina."
'Hi, Emma. Hope is so cute." Hope goes to Attina's squishy wet tail and squeals with joy. Henry takes pictures of his sister on his camera. "You like my tail?"
"Yes!"
"How about?" Attina moves around to show Hope her fin.
"Fin!" Hope squeals with joy. "Mommy Dada mermaid fin!"
Killian kneels to his little lass. "You are holding Attina's fin?"
"Yes."
"Hope, does her fin feel wet and sticky?"
"Yes, sticky!" Hope giggles.
"Attina, thank you for letting Hope touch your fin."
"You are welcome, Emma."
Ariel holds her daughter. "Melody, time for cake."
"Ake!"
"Hope,it is time for cake baby girl. After you have cake you can play with the mermaids."Hope hugs her mommy as she carried her to the cake. Everyone sung Happy Birthday to Melody. Hope grabs her Daddy's hook. "Dada is right here, Hope." He kisses her on the head. Prince Eric and Ariels' staff cut the cake and shared it with guests. "Mommy, ake."
"Yes, we are having cake, baby girl." Killian helped his three loves sit down onto the sand. "Thank you."
"You are welcome, love."
As the family was preparing to sail back home, Hope was crying. "Hope, we are going to see Melody soon."
"Sleep Mel-Mel castle."
"We are going to have a sleepover with Melody soon, sweetie. We have to bring Belle and Gideon home to.."
"Croco..."
"Yes, little love back to the crocodile."
"No home..."
Henry goes to his parents and sister. "Mom, I got my little sis."He takes Hope from their Mom. "Little sis, we are going to have H&H time. I can tell you a story?"
"Ava stowy!"
"We can read Hansel &Gretel."
"Ava! Henwy!"
"I will read you Ava's story." He takes Hope into the captain's quarters. He opens the book.
"Ava!!"
"Yes, that is Ava in my book."
"Henwy luv Ava."
"Hope!" He tickles Hope making her laugh. Killian steered to his second home through the portal holding hold his pregnant wife and the steer.
The Swan-Jones family arrived to their home on land. Henry and Killian unload their sailing supplies. Emma carried Hope who was awake "Mommy, home."
"Yes, we are home, sweetie. We need to get ready for night-night." Emma gives Hope a bubble bath. "Did you have fun today?"
"Yes, swim, pway and Mel-Mel You?"
Emma smiles love talking to her daughter. "I had so much fun in Ariel's castle and being by the ocean. I love seeing you so happy."
After Emma gave Hope her bath, changed her for the night, she took her own shower and get ready for the night. Killian sees his swan in their bedroom and hugs her. "Are you okay love? Do you need anything?"
"I am tired but not sick for a moment."
He places his hand on his swan's abdominal where their baby was growing. "Perhaps the baby thinks we are still in our second home."
Emma smiles."Our baby is smart because she or he knows when we are not in our second home." Emma places his hand over his, both of their hands laid on her abdominal. "Our littlest pirate."
"Our baby." They kiss.
Hope enters her parent's room with The Ugly Duckling book. "Mommy night-night stowy."
"Swan, someone wants storytime before bed."
"Yes, our little pirate princess wants a bedtime story."
"Pwease, Mommy."
Emma kneels to her daughter. "Yes, sweetie. We can read our favorite book for storytime." Hope smiles.
"Little love, you want Mommy to read your book?"
"Yes, Mommy wead book."
"Aye, little pirate." He puts Hope onto their bed as Emma makes room in their bed for Hope. She crawled into the covers next to her Mommy and hugs her. "Dada."
"Yes?"
Hope jumps into her Daddy's chest and hugs him. "Luv you Dada."
"I love you, Hope." He gave Hope multiple kisses on her cheek and lifted her up and down. Emma smiles at her husband and daughter. "Dada."
"Hopey." He kisses her on the cheek. "Did you have a fun day with Melody?"
"Yes, swim, mermaids and pway. Sail."
"Aye that is a great day in your ocean princess best friend kingdom."
"Sail again!"
"Aye, we do need to sail again, little pirate."
"Fly Olly Wawa."
"Aye, flying Jolly Roger." Killian moves Hope around like they were sailing around the room.
"Wheee!!!" Hope laughs. Emma smiles loves seeing Killian, an amazing Daddy to their daughter who was having so much fun. "Little pirate tell me when to land."
"Dada, land!!"
"Aye, aye captain Hope." He lands Hope back on the bed next to his swan.
"Fun Dada!!"
"I had so much fun with you, my little pirate." He gave Hope kisses on her cheek.
"Mommy stowy." Hope goes to her Mommy under the covers.
"Storytime, it is." She kisses her daughter on the head. Killian goes to take his very needed shower after a long day of sailing and birthday party. Emma opens the book."Once upon a time, there is a Mommy duck and Daddy duck...."
"Duck!"
"That is a duck. You, and Henry are my ducklings."
"Baby.."
"Of course, the baby in my belly is my duckling, too. Just like you and Henry are." She kisses Hope on the head and continues to read to her.
After Killian took his shower, he found his son on the living room couch texting Ava. "Henry, did you have fun today?"
"Yes, I did. I am texting Ava about it. I was thinking we need to go on another sailing adventure, just the four of us. Mom and the baby are most comfortable on the Jolly Roger and we do need a few sailing trips before Mom cannot sail too much later in her pregnancy."
Killian got thinking and rubs his son's head. "You are right, lad. We do need a family sailing day soon." When Killian arrives back to his room, he sees Emma holding sleeping Hope. "She is fast asleep. One story of The Ugly Duckling, she was fast asleep."
"She loves when her mommy reads to her."
"Yes, she loves me reading to her. I just remember reading this story to myself as a child. Now, I get to read this to Hope and to our baby."
Killian wrapped his arm around his swan. "I know you are going to read this story to both our little ducklings all the time. I cannot wait to see our little bean on the sonogram next week."
"Me too, I am very excited to do the blood test to find out the gender of our newest baby, boy or girl, I will be very happy."
"Aye, lad or lass, I will be very happy. They will always have us, love."
"Yes, they will always have you, Henry and me reading to them." He kisses her on the head."You are an amazing mother, my swan. I love you so much."
"You are an amazing Daddy. I love you so much." They kiss.
