Pirate Birthday Party

It was April 20th, 2021, Emma was awake while Hope was sleeping next to her in her and Killian's bed. She was smiling at her sleeping daughter who is now three years old. Three years of getting her happy beginning and not missing anything in Hope's life. "My baby girl is three years old. I am a Mommy of three-year-old." She hugs her daughter. "I love being your Mommy, Hope. You were my first of everything." She kisses Hope on the head. Hope wakes up crying. "Hope, Hope. What is the matter, baby girl?"
"Bad dweam, Mommy."
"Hope. You are with me." She sits up letting Hope lie on her chest and hugs her daughter. "Shh...shh..."
"Dada."
"He is downstairs, sweetie. He will be back up soon."
"Want Dada. Want hug you and Dada."
Killian was making Emma's craving, a grilled cheese after he finished with the balloons when he hears Hope's crying and wanting him. He returns to their room. "Hope. What is the matter?"
"Bad dweam, Dada."
"Oh no." She takes her sandwich from her husband. Killian takes Hope from his swan. "Dada is right here, little love. You are with Mommy and Dada." She holds her Daddy's hook and falls asleep. Emma lays on her husband's shoulder and places her hand on her baby bump. "Our little girl wanted her Daddy."
"Aye, I heard her. I know how to make her feel better after a bad dream." He kisses Hope on the head. "The balloons and gifts are all set up downstairs for Hope tomorrow."
"Our Hope is going to be three years old today."
"Yes, her brilliant Mommy organized an amazing pirate theme party."
"You did help me with the treasure hunt map, the party favor ideas, and the food themes."
"That because I am a pirate I know how to make a pirate theme birthday party for our Hope. My wife is so talented baking cupcakes and getting decorations."
"You planned the whole scavenger hunt."
"Aye, the lad and I are going to set up the scavenger hunt later. Ava, Liam, Anna, and Prince Eric are helping us with the scavenger."
"The children are going to love the treasure hunt. Especially our Hope."
"Aye, it was Hope's idea. She wants a pirate birthday party she is getting a pirate theme birthday party."
"Yes, she is. We are giving her everything. I know we are going to give Leia everything like we with her brother and sister."
"Exactly, love. We are going to spoil our children." He rubs her baby bump. "How is our little Leia?"
"Leia is getting bigger and I am feeling her move more. Not kicks just yet. I am having more heartburn."
"Do you need tums?"
"I am good for now. I just cannot believe our baby girl is three years old already. After last year, we almost lost her..." She begins crying and takes Hope into her arms and hugs her. "Hope would not be here now if we did not find her in time."
Killian hugs his wife. "Emma, she is a little fighter and survivor. We found her in time, Emma. She is safe with you and me."
"I am so grateful that she is still with us. I want her to have the best birthday ever tomorrow which is why I want everything to be perfect for her special day. She gave me my second chance of being a Mommy."
"You are an amazing Mommy to Hope and Henry. I treasure every day being a Daddy to Hope. Tomorrow is going to be an extra special day to spoil our little lass. I know you are going to be an amazing Mommy from the very beginning again with Leia. I am so excited to be a Daddy again to our little Leia on the way. I cannot wait to be on your side raising our two girls and son together." He kisses her on the head. "We are going to give Hope an amazing birthday tomorrow, love. "
She kisses him on his cheek. "You are right. I treasure every day with Hope ever since I found out I was pregnant with her. She gave me my second chance of being a Mommy from the beginning. I love being her Mommy. She is our little treasure."
"Aye, another nickname for our little love."
"A nickname we came up with together. We can use it for all three of our children." They kiss. Emma falls back to sleep snuggling with her husband and daughter.
In the morning, Hope wakes up at 6:00am and snuck out of her parent's bed. She entered Henry's room and climbed onto his bed. "Henwy!!!"
Henry wakes up screaming making Hope laugh. "Hope!" He looks at the time at his alarm clock, 6:05am. Hope was bouncing on his bed. "Little sis." Hope hugs her brother. He tickles his sister. "Happy birthday!!" He spun his sister around. Henry hugs his sister. "I love you so much, little sis."
Hope hugs her brother. "Luv you, Henwy."
"Do you want storytime?"
"Yes! Your book, pwease."
"Yes, we can read my book." He lets Hope carry his book. "We are going to read in your room, little sis." He did not want to spoil Hope's surprise downstairs and let their parents sleep in. "Henwy wead on my bed." He sits next to his sister and lets her choose the story. "August stowy Henwy!!"
"Pinnochio's story it is." Hope sits on his lap. "Once upon a time..."
Killian lets his swan sleep in and went downstairs to cook his family breakfast, chocolate chip pancakes, Hope's favorite. He sees the food for the party and chocolate cupcakes that Emma made which had pirate theme icing decorations of a treasure chest, ships, and pirate flag. "My swan is so talented." He cooks his family breakfast.
Emma wakes up hearing Henry reading to Hope in her bedroom. She looks at her baby bump. "Good morning, Leia." She rubs her baby bump. "Mommy loves you so much. Today is your big sister Hope's birthday. Do not worry, you will be at Hope's birthday next year." She goes to Hope's room seeing Henry reading to her. "There is the birthday girl!"
"Mommy!" Hope runs to her Mommy.
Emma scooped Hope into her arms. Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to you, Happy birthday to Hope, Happy birthday to you! She gave Hope kisses on her cheek. "Did Henry told you a story?"
"Yes, August stowy. You are in it!"
"I am?
"Yes."
"Mom, Hope woke me up so early today. She woke me up at 6:00am!"
"What? Hope!"
"H&H time."
"A very early morning, H&H time." He tickles his sister. "Hope is the birthday girl!"
Killian enters the room. "There is the birthday pirate!"
"Dada!"
Emma gives Hope to Killian."Happy birthday, Hope!!" He spun her around making her laugh.
"I made your favorite chocolate chip pancakes."
"Bweakfast."
"How about presents than breakfast, little duckling."
"Gifts, Dada!" They went downstairs. Killian lets Hope run to see the pile of presents in the living room with pink and white balloons around the living room floor and a number 3 gold balloon. "Gifts!!"
Emma kneels to Hope. "They are all for you because it is your birthday." Hope opens her gifts, she got a pink Little Mermaid bomber jacket, a seashell purse. "Oooh Pink! Mommy matches the bag with coat."
"Yes, they do match, baby girl."
"Thank you."
"You are welcome, Hope." She hugs her daughter.
"Little sis open this one. This gift is from me." Henry gives his sister his present. Hope opens her gift which was a Little Mermaid t-shirt with pink skirt. "Ooh! Outfit!" Hope hugs Henry. "Thank you,Henwy."
"I have one more gift for you." He helps her open the gift which was a painting of herself and Henry reading his book, H&H Time. "Henwy!" Hope hugs her brother.
"Do you like it?"
"Luv it!"
Emma and Killian smile at Henry and Hope. "Little love, I can put it on your bedroom wall."
"Pwease dada."
"Yes, little love, I will hang it on your wall."
He gives Hope her gift. "This is from me, Hope."
"Gift!" Hope opens her gift which was a black leather jacket. "Dada jacket."
Killian chuckles. "You can match with me."
"You and Mommy."
"That is right, little love. You two leather jackets one to match with Mommy and one to match with Dada."
"Yay!" Emma and Killian both smile at Hope.
"Little love, do you want breakfast?"
"Yes, Dada!" Killian helped his swan stand up. They went to the kitchen.
"Mommy, baby sis." Hope hugs her Mommy's baby bump.
"Do you want to sit next to me and Leia?"
"Yes!" Henry moves Hope's chair to where their mom was sitting. "Pancakes!"
"I made them extra chocolate chips for you, birthday lass." He kisses Hope on the cheek.
"Thank you, Dada!"
"You are welcome, little love." He gives cinnamon hot cocoa to his swan.
"Thank you for the cinnamon hot cocoa."
"You are welcome, love." They kiss. Everyone ate breakfast.
Allison arrives with Hope's gift and decorations. "Emma?Hope?"
"We are in the kitchen, Allison." Allison finds the family in the kitchen.
"Auntie!!" Hope goes to hug her.
"There is the birthday girl. Happy birthday, my little niece!" She hugs Hope.
"Hi, Allison, do you want to join us?"
"Yes. I am starving." She makes herself a plate and joins them at the table sitting next to Henry and Hope.
"I am sitting with Mommy and Leia."
"Leia?"
"Baby sis!"
"Emma?"
"Leia is your little niece on the way name."
Allison smiles. "Little Leia! I love it!"
"Killian and I love the name too."
"Little sis, Auntie loves our baby name idea."
"My idea!"
"I gave you the idea! I was reading the book to you and it just came to me"
"Emma, let me guess, Hope and Henry's gave you both the name idea?"
"Yes. Killian and I love the name when they told us the name idea. We just knew it was her name."
"Aye, once Hope said it, I knew it was perfect for our little lass." He wrapped his arm around his swan.
"Henry helped Killian and me with Hope's name. Now Henry and Hope both helped us with Leia's name." They both place their hands on Emma's baby bump.
"It is a beautiful name."
"Auntie, Leia from Mommy and Dada stowy."
"Leia was Mom's codename when her and Dad went through the time portal spell. Let's just say Mom changed her parents' meeting."
"Aye, I was the one who helped my swan meet her parents and traveled the whole Enchanted Forest with my swan."
"You help me fix the timeline."
"Aye, I wasn't going to lose my true love and our family."
"I wouldn't have this family without you." Emma hugs her pirate and kisses him on the cheek.
"Aunt Allison, basically if Mom and Dad did not get our parents to meet Hope, Mom, Leia and I and the rest of our family wouldn't exist. Even the town."
"Wow!" After breakfast, Killian and Henry cleaned up the kitchen. Emma got Hope dressed for the day in a pirate theme, t-shirt, Today is my 3rd birthday, and jeans. She braids Hope's hair. "My birthday girl."
Hope hugs her Mommy. "Luv you Mommy."
"I love you so much, Hope. I have one more gift for you." She gives Hope a gift. Hope opened her git which was a gold necklace heart with a duckling on it, Hope.
"Necklace. Can you help me?" Emma puts the necklace on Hope's neck.
"I got this for you because you are my baby girl. You made me a Mommy from the very beginning." Emma takes a Mommy and daughter selfie on her iPhone. Hope kisses her mommy on the lips.
Killian sees his two loves and takes a picture of Emma and Hope. "Hope, are you dressed for your birthday?"
"Yes, Dada! Mommy got me a necklace."
"Wow! Your necklace is so pretty little love." Hope goes downstairs. Killian hugs his wife. "That is a pretty necklace that you gave Hope."
"I wanted to give Hope something special to wear and something she will always have with her."
"It's beautiful, love." He hugs his swan.
Hope finds Allison and Henry in the living room. "Hope, I have a birthday gift for you." Hope opens her gift from Allison which was a Little Mermaid life-size doll. "Awesome!"
"Little sis, that is a big ariel doll."
"Ariel!" Hope hugs her new doll.
"I got you something else." Allison gives Hope her other birthday gift.
Hope opens the gift which was a new Pluto pattern dress. "Pluto!!! Thank you, Auntie!" She hugs Allison.
"You are very welcome, Hope."
Killian sees what Hope was up too. "Hope, that is a big Ariel doll!"
"Auntie got me Ariel doll!"
"Killian, it is Ariel doll where Hope can comb her hair and stand up on her own. She can also walk with the doll."
Emma arrives downstairs dressed for the day. "Mommy! Ariel doll!"
"Wow! That is a huge Ariel doll."
"Yes!"
"Allison, that doll is huge!"
"Yes, Hope can brush Ariel's hair."
"It is the same size as her."
"Dada, can you bwing Ariel to my room?"
Killian chuckles. "Yes, I can, little pirate." Killian brings up Henry's art and Ariel doll.
"Allison, do you want to start setting up?"
"Yes. I cannot wait to see what decorations you have."
"Killian helped me a lot with the decorations. He even has some of his treasure chest and boxes from the Jolly Roger for decorations."
"Awe, he really wanted to make Hope's birthday special."
Killian and Hope return downstairs. "He planned the treasure hunt with me. He is also going to lead it."
Killian gave his swan a surprising look. "I am?!"
"Killian, you're the pirate."
"Dada you are a piwate." Henry smirks at his Dad, his Mom and sister were convincing him to lead the treasure hunt. "Pwease dada." She gives her Daddy a pouty lip.
Killian smiles. "How can I say no to that face!" He holds Hope. "Hope I am going to lead your scavenger hunt."
"Yay!" Hope hugs her daddy, making him smile.
The doorbell rings, Emma answers, it was Melody, Ariel and Prince Eric and Max. "Hi, Melody, Ariel and Prince Eric."
"Hi, Em-em!" Melody hugs Emma. The family entered inside.
"Hi, Melody. "
"Baby." Melody points at Emma's baby bump.
Emma smiles big. "Yes, there is a baby growing inside of my tummy. That is Henry and Hope's baby sister." Melody smiles. "She is going to be your friend too."
"Hope, Henwy sis."
"Yes, Melody!"
"Emma, she has been asking about the baby lately."
"Mel-Mel!"
'Hope!" The two best friends reunited with a hug.
"My room!" Hope leads Melody upstairs. Max follows them.
'Emma, how is your baby girl?"
"She is getting bigger. I am almost 5 months pregnant."
"I am pretty sure, Killian is being overprotective of you."
"Yes,he never stopped. He barely makes me lift anything even for party decorations."
"Em, you have Ariela and me to help you with decorations."
Allison and Ariel moved the balloons to the backyard. Killian was setting up the extra tables for the guests and for the food. Hope and Melody were playing on the swings. Emma set up the party food table with pirate theme plates, pretzels, of cut-up hot dogs that look like, octopus, cheese balls are the cannonballs, Swedish fish are the fishes, golden nuggets are chicken nuggets, the catch of the day are goldfish crackers and cut up apple slices had plastic swords in them. A rectangle pizza with olives, green and red peppers in the shape of ships, and a large watermelon in the shape of a ship full of mixed fruit. Other food was sandwiches in the shapes of fish, ziti, cut-up carrots and celery with ranch dip. There were cupcakes inside a treasure chest. Whenever Emma dropped something, Killian was there to pick it up. "Thank you."
"You are welcome, swan." She kisses him on the cheek. He places his hands on her baby bump. "How is our little Leia?"
"Moving around right now." She places his hand where their daughter was moving on her baby bump. "Our baby girl knows her dada is with us."
"Aye, she loves her Dada and her Mommy." He kisses Emma on her blonde head. "The food and snacks for this pirate party is so good!"
"You helped me come up with pirate food ideas."
"Aye, love helping my swan."
"Em, where do you want us to hang up the pirate banner?"
"Oh, Killian can move the hammock, we can hang the banner area. This is where everyone can take pictures."
"Aye, swan." Killian and Prince Eric move the hammock so Allison and Ariel hang the pirate banner. Emma makes a chalkboard sign Hope's 3rd birthday in the backyard She draws a ship and treasure chest with colorful chalk colors.
The doorbell rings, "I will get it." Henry answers the door, it was Ava. "Hi!"
"Hi! They hug. "Where is the birthday girl?"
"In the backyard." They went to the backyard.
"Hope!"
"Ava!" Hope runs and hugs Ava. "Hi!"
"Happy birthday!"
"Thank you."
"I have your birthday gift." Hope opens her gift which was a wooden box with Hope's name on it with ducklings, swans, disney logo and hooks on it. "It is a jewelry box. You can put jewelry in it."
"Pwetty box, Ava! Mommy!" Emma goes to Hope and Ava. "Box!"
Emma smiles. "Did Ava made you a jewelry box?"
"Yes!"
Ema smiles. "Ava, this is going to go great with Hope's big girl room."
"Henry told me all about the redecorating you've been having in the house."
"It is mostly, Hope's room and the baby's room."
"How are you feeling?"
"Pretty good for being 4 months pregnant. I am almost 5 months pregnant."
"If you need me to watch Hope, I can."
"Thank you, Ava."
Liam arrives. "Uncle Liam!!" Hope runs to her uncle. Killian sees his brother.
He scooped his little niece into his arms "There is the pirate birthday girl!"
"Hi!" Hope hugs Liam. "Dada, piwate party."
"I can tell by the decorations."
"Mommy dada."
"Brother!"
"Brother!" They hug with Hope in the middle of them. Emma smiles seeing her husband so happy that his brother is in town. "How are you?"
"I am good. Nemo and I been traveling to different realms.I am happy to see you and the rest of our family."
Emma approaches Liamand Killian. "Hi, Liam."
"Hi, Emma!" They hug.
Killian wrapped his arm around his swan. "Killian, don't we have something to tell him?"
Killian smiles. "Yes, we do. I am about to tell him, love. I was waiting for you."
Liam knows his brother and sister-in-law were keeping something. "What is it, Killian?"
"Emma, do you want to show him?"
Emma places her hand on her baby bump. "Liam. This is your baby niece on the way."
Liam looks at Emma's baby bump and smiles. "Emma, you are pregnant?"
"Yes, I am. You are going to be an uncle again."
Liam laughs happily and hugs Emma and Killian. "I am going to be an uncle again!"
"Baby sis."
"Hope, you are going to be a big sister?"
"Yes. baby sis. Mommy." Emma holds Hope. "Luv you Mommy Baby sis." She kisses Hope on the head. Melody goes to Hope and Emma.
"Pway, Hope."
"Hope, you play baby girl." She sets Hope down. Hope and Melody go play.
"When is the baby due?"
"Our little lass is coming in the fall in September."
"Let's just say your little niece on the way is a little pirate already?"
"She loves the ocean like her Daddy."
"Oh already?"
"Aye, yes. Let's just say when we going that we were expecting again. Henry and Hope were kidnapped by Lost Boys. Our little lass loves her Daddy's ship." He rubs his swan's baby bump.
"Yes,the baby was only happy on the Jolly Roger."
"Is that why the party is a pirate theme, brother?"
"Hope chose her birthday theme."
"Your brother has helped me with the decorations and the food for the party." She hugs her husband. "He is also going to lead the treasure hunt."
"My brother is leading the treasure hunt?"
"Aye, Hope wants me too. I cannot say no to her or my swan. I do need your help with the treasure hunt?"
"How can I help?" The two brothers began talking.
When the party started guests were arriving in the backyard. Ava was finishing up decorations with Henry. Hope and Melody were playing on the swingset. Ruby and Dorothy were the first guests to arrive. Ruby was holding a newborn with brunette hair. Emma was surprised. "Ruby, who is this?"
"Emma, meet our daughter Emily. We adopted her a few weeks ago."
"Ruby! Congratulations. I am so happy for you both." She hugs her.
Killian sees Ruby and Dorothy. "Hi, Ruby and Dorothy. Who is this little lass?"
"Emily, our daughter. We adopted her a few weeks ago. Emma, do you want to hold her?'
"Yes, I would love to." Emma sits down on a chair. Ruby puts Emily into Emma's arms. "Hi, sweetie." Emma smiles. "I am Emma. You are so cute. Your little friend is growing inside of me. You will have a best friend by the end of the year."
"Emily is so cute. How old is she?"
"She is four weeks old. We adopted her at birth."
Killian smiles at the baby. "She is so small."
"Pretty soon, you and I will be holding a little girl of our own again."
"Aye, I cannot wait." He looks at the little lass excited to meet his daughter on the way. "Hello, Emily. You are comfy in my swan's arms."
Hope goes to her parents. "Baby!"
"Hope, say hi to Emily. She is Ruby and Dorothy's baby girl."
Hope goes to Ruby. "Can I hold her?"
Ruby smiles. "Yes, you can. You do need big sister practice."
"Sit down, Hope." Hope did as she was told.
Ruby takes Emily from Emma and lets Hope hold her daughter. "You have to hold her head, Hope." Emma helps Hope hold Emily.
"Mommy, I am holding Emily."
Emma smiles. "Yes, you are." Hope gives Emily a kiss on the head.
Killian takes a picture of Hope holding Emily. "You are doing us a good job, Hope."
"Ruby, that is why you have not been at the station?"
"Yes, Dorothy and I had to leave town to adopt Emily once we got the call."
"Is Granny happy?"
"Yes,she is beyond thrilled that she is a great-grandma. She has been helping us a lot."
Allison joins them. "Ruby, this is Emily?"
"Yes. I already made an appointment for her to get checked up by you."
"I am looking forward to seeing her in my office." She looks at the newborn. "Hope, are you holding the baby?"
"Yes." Emily began crying. "Emily, don't cwy."
Ruby takes Emily from Hope. "Emily is going to be okay, Hope. She is just hungry."
"I got her bottle Wolfy." They find a spot to feed Emily.
"Emily, Auntie."
"She is okay, Hope."
Emma knows Hope will be great with her sister Leia. "Hope, you did such a good job holding Emily!"
"I did?"
"Yes. That is how you are going to hold your sister when she comes."
Hope hugs her Mommy's baby bump "Leia." Emma and Killian both smile knowing Hope is going to be a great big sister when Leia arrives.
Ashley with Alexandra arrived. "Emma!"
"Ashley!" They hug.
"How are you feeling?"
"I am feeling really good besides feeling my baby's movements."
"I am so happy for you Emma, you are having another baby."
"Yes, I am happy. I never thought I would be having 3 children now I am."
"I also have something to tell you?"
"What is it?"
"I am opening up a preschool in the fall for a few days a week. Annie can run the daycare on the days I am working for the school."
"A preschool?"
"Yes!"
Killian overhears the lasses conversation. "A preschool?"
"Yes, honey, Hope can go to preschool in the fall."
"It is only for a few days a week for 3 hours."
"Aye, I know Hope will be excited."
More party guests arrived, Ted with Connor and Lizzie, Elsa and Anna, and Aurora with Phillip Jr. Emma greeted her guests and surprised Elsa and Anna with her pregnancy. "Oh my gosh!! Emma!!" Elsa hugs her first. "I am so happy for you and Killian. I remember when you two went on your first date. I was there." Emma chuckles. As more guests were arriving the children were playing as the adults were talking. Belle and Gideon arrive. "Ee-on!!"
"Hope!" They hug.
"Pway." Gideon plays with Hope and Melody.
Granny arrives with the cake. "Hi, Emma."
"Hi, Granny."
"I will show you the cake inside. I know Hope and Killian are going to love it." Emma leads Granny inside. "I met Emily."
Granny smiles. "Isn't she a beauty?"
"Yes, she is so cute!"
"They are new parents. They are still learning the ropes. I help them as much as I can.'' She opens the box seeing the pirate theme cake.
Emma was surprised. "Granny, Hope is going to love it!"
"I did my best for Hope. She is such a sweetie. I see you and Killian in her." The doorbell rings. Emma answers the door, it was Her Dad, Mike and Nicholas. "Hi, princess."
"Dad." They hug.
"Where is the birthday princess?"
"She is out in the backyard."
"Hi, Emma."
"Hi, Mike and Nicky."
"Ava told me that I can help with Killian's treasure hunt."
"Yes, you are helping the treasure hunt. Your costume is right here." She gives him the costume.
"Cool!" Nicky goes to change.
"What is my son and daughter are going to do in this treasure hunt?"
"Ava is going to be a pirate and Nicky is going to be...you will see." She leads them to the backyard.
Emma and Killian made sure everything was set up the way Killian planned for the scavenger hunt. Liam, Anna, Ava, Connor, Nicky, Henry, and Prince Eric were at the spots. "All of the little pirates, my crew coming over here!"
Emma stands next to her husband. "All the kids, come over to Killian. We are going to have a treasure hunt!" Hope, Melody, Gideon, Alexandra, Lizzie, Phillip Jr. all came to Killian. "Everybody sit down and listen to Killian."
"Dada!!" Hope hugs her Daddy.
"Are you excited for the treasure hunt?"
"Yes, tweasure!!"
"We are going to have fun." Hope goes to sit next to Melody. "As you know, I am a pirate. A pirate knows how to find treasure. Today, my little pirate crew, we are going to find treasure."
"Yay!!" All the kids clapped.
Emma was smiling seeing how much all of the kids were enjoying Killian pirate talk, she took photos. Charming stands next to his daughter. "The kids love Killian?"
"Yes, they do. He planned this whole treasure hunt himself."
Ava passed out paper pirate hats and paper swords to the kids. "No, hat, Ava."
"Why Hope? It is part of the game."
"No."
Gideon, "It is part of the treasure hunt."
"No." Hope walks away.
Emma sees Hope mad. "Oh no." Emma goes to Hope. "Hopey, why are you mad?"
"Not weal piwate hat. Not weal piwate wear hat."
"It is true, we do not wear pirate hats on Jolly Roger. It is just pretend for the party. You can wear something else?"
"Wed jacket."
Emma smiles."You can wear your red leather jacket." She went inside to get Hope's red leather jacket.
Henry goes to his sister. "Henwy!" She hugs her brother.
Emma returns with Hope's red leather jacket. "Hope, here is your jacket." Hope puts her red leather jacket on. "Thank you."
"You are welcome, baby girl."
Mulan overhears the mother and daughter talk. "Hope, I think I know what you can wear with your red leather jacket." She gives Hope her birthday present.
Hope opens her gift which was a toy real looking sword. "Sword! Thank you, Mulan."
Mulan smiles. "You are welcome, Hope."
Hope struggled to fit the sword in her jean loop. Emma was in awe, Hope wanted to be like her. She helps fix Hope's sword. "Your sword is fixed to your jeans, my little pirate princess." She takes a picture of Hope. "My mini-me."
"Emma, I can take a picture of you and Hope."
"Mommy, up!" Emma holds Hope on her hip as Mulan takes a picture of the mother and daughter.
"Little sis, everyone is waiting for the birthday girl to start the treasure hunt."
"Weady!" Henry leads Hope to the group.
Killian smiles seeing his little love dressing up like his Swan, Emma's mini-me."Now, there is the birthday pirate princess!"
"Weady Dada!"
"Aye, we are going to find the treasure somewhere in this backyard. By following the map. Along the way, we are going to have stops along the way before we find the treasure!" He gives the children a lesson on how to read the map and the stops they were going too. "We are going to see pirate enemies and crocodiles which is why we have our swords. They are going try stop us to get the treasure." Gideon raised his hand. "Yes, pirate Gideon?"
"What is the tweasure?"
"Aye, little lad, we are going to see what the treasure is when we find it." He looks at the group. "Are you ready?"
"YES!!!"
"Aye,my crew let's go find treasure." All the parents were watching and taking pictures.
"Mulan, Hope loves the sword. It is perfect with her outfit."
"I had a feeling she will love it. She is a lot like you."
"Yes, Hope is my mini-me. I am not sure if my daughter on the way will take after me or Killian." She places her hand on her baby bump. Allison joins Mulan and Emma.
Mulan smiles big. "You are having another baby girl?!"
"Shh.. Yes. We found out the day when I fainted."
"I was the one who told Emma and Killian from the blood test."
"It is so cool your best friend is a doctor."
"Yes." Emma hugs Allison.
"I really am happy for you and Killian, Emma. He has come a long way since we met him in the Enchanted Forest."
"Oh yes. He cared for me when we were on our beanstalk, my heart was walled up. I did not want to admit feelings for him. I didn't know back then he was going to be my future husband or my true love." Emma smiles at her pirate leading their daughter's birthday treasure hunt. She rubs her baby bump. "There is your Dada leading your sister's birthday scavenger hunt." Killian helps Hope read the map. "Where is our first stop?" Hope looks at the map, to a picture of trees. "Twees."
"Aye, the jungle."
When the group wehn to the trees, Ava comes out wearing a pirate patch. "Little pirates, I know where the treasure it is but you have to fight me to pass to the next clue."
"I will!" Hope had her sword out.
"Me too!" Melody and Gideon too. They took on Ava. Belle and Emma took pictures. As the kids were on the treasure hunt, the adults were watching or talking and eating.
Ava was lying on the ground. "You can go to the next stop. "
"Little pirates onto the next stop. Who wants to read the next clue?" The kids were raising their hands. "Aye, little pirate Gideon."
Gideon sees dirt. "Dirt."
"Aye, the next clue awaits." They got the next clue seeing a dirt pile. Connor and Nicky were dressed up in crocodile costumes.
"Crocodiles."
"Uh-oh."
"Bad."
Lizzie, "Attack!" All the kids screamed and jumped onto the crocodiles.
Emma goes next to her husband. "Little pirates do not hurt the crocodiles." Emma and Killian smile at each other.
"Alright, little pirates, enough. The crocodiles are going to let you pass." The children stopped pulling on the costume. Nicky and Connor groan. "Lads, you are done."
"You did not tell us that they will jump on us."
"Yea.."
Emma goes to the boys. "How about you two get some food?" Emma lead them away. August arrives at the party leaving the birthday present for Hope in the birthday present pile. "Emma!"
"August!" They hug.
"I see Killian is leading a scavenger hunt?"
"Yes, it is a treasure hunt. Let's just say, Hope and I asked him this morning."
"Dada, map."
Killian gives Hope the map. Melody looks at the map. "Pirate Melody, what is next?"
Melody sees the ocean. "Water!"
"Aye, you are right, little pirate Melody."
They walk to where Liam was standing in front of a cardboard submarine. "You pirates are not going to get past me." He shows them his sword.
Alexandra, "You are not letting us away from the treasure."
Melody, Hope, Gideon, "Yeah!!" All four of them took on Liam.
Killian was smiling. They defeated Liam. "Little pirates, you can pass on."
Phillip Jr. goes to Killian. "Can I read the map?"
"Aye, yes, pirate Phillip."
Phillip Jr. sees the map showing a trail, "We go straight and make a left."
"Aye, follow Phillip Jr, little pirates." They followed Phillip Jr until they stopped Henry, Anna, and Prince Eric.
Killian kneels to Hope. "Hope, what do you want to do to get to the treasure?"
"Sword!" Hope goes to her brother. "Henwy! My bro!" Henry and Hope's sword fight, Emma takes pictures of Henry and Hope. Everyone else took on Prince Eric and Anna until they were defeated.
"Dada!" Melody hugs her Daddy.
"Melody, are you having fun?"
"Yes!"
Hope used her sword to trip Henry who falls and groans. "Henwy!" Hope hugs her brother. "You are getting good at sword fighting, little sis." He holds Hope on his hip. "Little pirates, you defeated us."
Kilian shows them the map. "What is the next picture?"
All the kids, "The treasure!!" Prince Eric and Ava pulled out the treasure chest.
"Tweasure!!" Henry lets Hope down and Hope and her friends open the chest and sees the piles of toy ships, boats,anchors and chocolate coins. "WOW!!"
Hope goes to her Daddy. "Dada, tweasure."
"Aye, I see the treasure chest, little pirate. Did you have fun on your birthday treasure hunt?"
"Yes, Dada!" Hope hugs her Daddy. "Fun with you."
Killian smiles seeing his little pirate so happy. "Go get your treasure, little love." Hope kisses her Daddy goes on the cheek and goes back to the treasure chest. Emma smiles seeing her husband's daddy-daughter moment. She hugs her husband and watched Hope with her friends. "Killian, our daughter loves her pirate treasure hunt. Her Dada is the best pirate leader."
"Our little pirate takes after me. She loves the treasure hunt."
"Yes, she takes after her Dada." The hug. "I have a feeling Leia is going to love treasure hunting with her dada too." They kiss. All of the kids go to their parents to show what they got from the treasure hunt. "Dada, Mommy, tweasure."
"Wow!! What did you get in the treasure chest, baby girl?"
"Toy boat, anchor and chocolate."
"That is a lot of treasure, little pirate princess."
"Hungwy."
"Little pirate, I can hold your treasure for you so you can eat." Hope gives her Daddy her treasure, and walks with her Mommy to the table food. SHe made Hope a plate a little of everything.
Ashley goes to Killian. "Killian, Alexandra had so much fun on the treasure hunt."
"Aye, it was Emma's idea. Her and Hope wanted me to lead."
"You did a great job. All of the children were enjoying being your crew."
"Aye, I would do everything for my children."
"I know you will be a great Dad to your next child."
"Aye, Emma and I cannot wait to be parents to a newborn again."
"I know you and Emma are going to be great parents to three children. If you need an extra hand in the house when your baby comes, I can help."
"Thank you Ashley. Our baby is coming in mid-September."
"I know you and Emma are going to be spoiling that baby the same as you are with Henry and Hope."
"Yes, we definitely are."
"Sit next Auntie and Mel-Mel."
"You can sit with Auntie and Mel-Mel." Hope goes ahead to where Allison was sitting with Ariel and Melody, Red, Mulan and Charming, Emma followed her daughter and puts her plate where daughter was going to sit. She also eats her own plate of food and talks to Allison, Anna and Elsa.
"Squad! Auntie."
Mulan smiles."There is the birthday girl."
Ruby,"Are you sitting with us?"
"Yes. Next Auntie."
"Hi, little niece. Did you have fun on your birthday treasure hunt?"
"Yes, dada best pirate."
"Hope!"
"Mel-Mel!" The two best friends talked.
"Uncle Liam."
"Hi, little niece." Liam joins them at the table. "Is this Melody?"
"Yes! Best fwiend."
After she ate, Emma headed inside and went to the living room to lie down. She felt tired all of the sudden. Killian sees his swan going inside. "Ashley, I will be right back. I am going to check on my wife." He goes inside finding his swan lying down on the couch. He gets her a cold water bottle and brings it to her. "Emma, are you okay, love?"
Emma takes the water bottle and sits her water. "I just need a nap. The baby is making me tired." She sips her water and lies down.
He rubs his swan's head. "My swan needs some shut-eye." He kisses her on the head.
"Killian,the party."
"Emma, everyone is eating. You have some time to rest. Leia is growing inside of you and making her Mommy tired."
"You are sure?"
"Yes, love." He kisses her on the head. She fell asleep right away. He returns to the backyard.
Charming goes to Killian. "Is everything okay with Emma?"
"Yes she is just tired and needed a nap."
Henry goes to his Dad. "Dad?"
"Yes, son?"
"The treasure chest full of toys and chocolate coins is better than a pinata?"
"What the bloody hell is a pinata?"
"It is a character cardboard box full of candy where children hit until it breaks and candy falls out."
"Aye, treasure chest is better."
Hope goes to her Henry. "Bro!"
"Hi, birthday sis. Are you having fun?"
"Yes!" She hugs her brother. "Piwate Henwy." He tickles his sister. She goes to the balloons. Henry gives Hope a balloon.
"One more." Melody goes to Henry and Hope. Henry gives Melody a balloon. Elsa and Anna were talking to Lizzie. Connor was playing with Max.
Allison goes inside and sees Emma sleeping. Lizzie follows her mom inside. "Mommy, is Aunt Emma okay?"
"Yes, sweetie. She just needs to sleep because the baby is making her tired."
"How old is my new baby cousin?"
"She is around 16 weeks inside of Emma's belly. We will meet her in September. Let's go back to the party." Allison leads her daughter back outside. Lizzie go plays with Alexandra.
Ruby carried Emily to Killian. "Killian, we have to go home. Please tell Emma,we said goodbye."
"Aye, I will."
Hope goes to Ruby and her Daddy. "Hope, Emily has to go bye-bye."
"No."
Ruby kneels down with her daughter. "You can hold her when you see her at Granny's next time."
"Bye-Bye Emily." She kisses Emily on the head. Killian smiles knowing Hope will be a great big sister with Leia.
Henry sees his sister being sweet to Emily. "Ruby, Emily is cute."
"Thank you, Henry. We adopted her at birth."
"I have a feeling Emily and our baby sibling will be best friends."
Ruby smiles. "I have a feeling they will be best friends. Killian, tell Emma I will be back to work soon."
"Aye, Ruby. I will." Ruby and Dorothy leave with Emily.
"Mommy, dada."
"Mommy is taking a nap inside, little love."
Hope goes to her Mommy and finds her in the living room. She climbs onto the couch. "Mommy....Mommy..."
Emma wakes up hearing Hope. "Hi, Hope."
"Mommy, here!" Hope hugs her Mommy.
Emma smiles. "I did not leave you." She hugs her daughter back.
Killian sees his two loves hugging, he mouthed, "Cake time?" Emma nodded her head yes. Killian brings the cake out and tells everyone it was time for cake. Charming, Allison and Granny helped set up the cake area.
Hope hugs her Mommy. "Leia, love you, baby sis." She kisses her Mommy's baby bump.
"Leia loves you so much, Hope." Hope hugs her Mommy. "I love you so much, baby girl. You will always be my little duckling."
Henry finds his Mom and sister in the living room. "Hope!"
"Bro!" He tickles her, making her laugh. "Henwy."
"Everyone is asking where is the birthday girl?"
"Time to go back to your party, baby girl."
"Coming Mommy?"
Emma holds Hope. "Yes, I am." She walks with her children back outside. Everyone was cheering for Hope. Ava was taking pictures on Henry's camera as Allison used her iPhone. "Hope, they are cheering for you." Hope smiles.
"Little love, look at the cake."
Hope smiles big. "Olly Wawa cake!!"
"Yes, a Jolly Roger cake, little love."
"It is your birthday cake, baby girl." Everyone sung Happy Birthday to Hope.
"Blow out your candles, Hope."
"Make a wish, little love." Hope blows out her cables, both of her parents were smiling at her as everyone else cheered.
"Little sis, what did you wish for?"
"Not telling, Henwy." Allison and Ava took pictures of the Swan-Jones family. Ava, Allison, Liam, and Charming took turns joining in for pictures. "Cake Dada."
"Aye, little love. I know you want your cake." Killian cuts her a slice of cake.
"Dada."
Charming,"I can take over, Killian. Hope wants her Dad."
"Dada!"
"Aye, thank you, Charming." He takes Hope from his swan and brings her to the table with Melody, Gideon, Ariel, and Belle. "Mel-Mel, Ee-on!" Hope sits next to her friends.
"Killian, Gideon had so much fun on the treasure hunt."
"Aye, I had fun leading my little pirates."
"Killy, again?"
Killian smiles at Gideon. "Aye, another time, lad."
"Fun, Killy."
Killian smiles at Melody. "Killian, I have a feeling Melody would want to play scavenger hunt every time we come over here for their swimming lesson."
"Dada tweasure hunt on Jolly Wawa?"
"Yes, Hope, Melody and Gideon." The three toddlers cheered making their parents smile.
After cake, most of the older kids had to leave since they have school in the morning. Hope and Melody were playing on the toy Jolly Roger with Liam. Allison, Charming, and Prince Eric were helping put down decorations. Ava and Henry were talking as they were cleaning and putting the party food away.
Emma and Killian were snuggling on the hammock. "Killian, I was thinking of taking Hope to Boston, to the children's museum for one on one time before Leia comes."
"That is a 6-hour drive away, love."
"I want to spend time with our daughter before Leia comes."
"Swan..."
"Are you saying I cannot drive because I am pregnant?"
"Emma, all I am saying is I do not want you to be driving alone."
"What are you saying?"
"I am saying that we can all go to Boston together from our wedding anniversary. We all do need a break from here. It also can be a family road trip. We can also have a fancy dinner for our anniversary."
Emma smiles."I love that idea." They kiss. Hope goes to her parents seeing them kiss.
"Henwy!" Henry goes to his little sis. "Mommy Dada pancakes. Eww." Henry, Emma, and Killian all laugh.
"You are taking after me, little sis." He tickles his sister.
After the rest of the party guests left, Hope opened her presents from their party guests in the living room. "Mommy."
"Yes, sweetie?"
Hope climbs into her Mommy's lap and hugs her. "Tay with you."
Emma smiles. "You can stay with me, Hope."
"Stowy time? Pwease."
"We can have storytime, Hope. Which story do you want?" Henry gets his storybook.
"Yours, Mommy!"
"My story?!"
"Yes!!"
"Okay, my story."
"Dada too."
"Swan, I think she wants the story between the pirate and princess adventures."
"No, dada. Mommy stowy. Dada stowy."
"Oh, you want both of our stories."
"Yes!"
"Hope, you get two stories tonight."
"Yay!"
"Little sis, which story first?"
"Mommy story!" Henry opens the book and her Mom began telling them her story. "Once upon a time..."
Emma and Killian, both smile love seeing Hope happy and spoiling her on her special day; ending with two stories. They have a Boston to plan for their wedding anniversary in a few weeks.
