Happy Beginning Captain Swan

Another Case Opens

It was June, Emma, and Killian and the rest of their squad had been very busy because of her and many other children of Storybrooke being kidnapped. Hope wakes up in her crib in the middle of the night having a bad dream. Emma rushes into her room and scoops Hope into her arms. "Hopey, you are with Mommy baby girl?" Hope cried more. "You had a bad dream?" Hope hugged her Mommy. "You can sleep with Mommy and Daddy, baby girl." She takes Hope to their room, Killian is awake. "Hope had a nightmare."
"Another nightmare? Poor little love."
"Dada." Emma gets back into bed. He gives Hope his hook which she grabs and babbles.
"You can sleep with Mommy and Daddy, little love." He kisses Hope on the cheek.
Hope felt safe with her parents. "Mommy."
"Yes, Hopey?" Hope babbles. "You had a really bad dream?"
"Yes."
"You are safe with Mommy and Dada, no more bad dreams." She kisses Hope on the head and hugs her daughter. Hope falls asleep on her Mommy clutching her Daddy's hook. "Whenever we try to get her to sleep in her crib, she gets a nightmare."
"Aye, I know. I hate seeing her so afraid."
"Me too but she has you and me to go to when she is afraid."
"Aye, you and I are always there for our little pirate princess." They snuggled and fell back to sleep. Emma wakes up early to meet with her squad to discuss the kidnapping children. Killian wakes up seeing his wife stressed out. "Swan, are you okay?"
"I am getting ready, that is all."
"Emma?"
Emma sighs. "I am just tired of this case, I just want to catch the bad guys and have no more kidnappings. It has to be a pattern or the villains are working for the same group."
"We are going to catch them, love." She hugs him. "Are we going to bring Hope with us to the meeting?"
"Yes, we are, knowing Hope's nightmare, I just want her with us. I know Henry needs to study for his finals."
"Aye, and our little pirate princess wants to be with us."
"Yes, as long as she is with us, she is going to be safe."
"Hope is not going to be in any danger with us, love."
Emma gets Hope ready for the day. Hope wakes up. "Morning, baby girl. You are going to be my little sheriff today!" Hope smiles and screams with joy. Emma chuckles.
Killian enters Hope's room."Swan, do you want to get breakfast at Granny's to go?"
"Yes, we do need food to go."
"I am on it, love." They kiss. Killian orders their meal on his iPhone. Emma dressed Hope into her pink duckling dress and braided her hair into two pigtail braids. "Mommy...you..."
"You are welcome, Hopey." Emma sets Hope down and they walk to the yellow bug, Killian had Hope's diaper bag.
"Dada!" Hope runs to him and he scoops her into his arms.
"Good morning, little love." Hope bugs her Daddy. "You are excited to go to work with Mommy and Dada?"
"Yes." Killian puts Hope in her car seat, as Emma went into the driver's seat. She drove her family to Granny's, Killian went into the diner to get their orders. "Mommy."
Emma turns around to Hope. "Yes, baby girl?"
"Pluto!"
"Yes, Hopey, you are bringing Pluto to the sheriff's station!" Hope smiles.
Killian returns with their meals and Emma drives them to the sheriff's station. "Mommy." Emma gets Hope out of her carseat. Hope holds her Pluto doll and holds her Mommy's hand. The Swan-Jones family entered the sheriff's station together seeing Regina, Charming, Lily, Mulan, and Red all ready for the meeting. "Hi, everyone. I will get Hope settled then we will set the meeting."
Hope walks over to Regina. "Ina!"
Regina kneels down to Hope."Hi, Hope. You have your Pluto doll?"
"Yes." Hope hugs her Pluto doll and climbs onto a chair. "Mommy!"
"You want to be part of the meeting, sweetie?"
"Yes."
Emma was smiling. "You can join the meeting. While you eat your breakfast." Everyone was in awe. Killian sits next to Hope making sure she eats her breakfast and quiet while his swan speaks. Emma goes to the board of kidnappings and lists. "We all know the villains are targets are children. "Killian and I overheard villains when we were looking for Alexandra, they wanted their happy ending and not being bossed around by the heroes. First Alexandra, then Phillip Jr..."
Charming, "It sounds like they are targeting royal children..."
Mulan, "Or children with parents who do not have magic or power in this town, the easy targets."
"I have been telling the people of Storybrooke to keep an extra close eye on their children, not leaving them alone. Somehow the villains are kidnapping them."
"Swan, there must be a pattern of how they kidnapped the children."
"You are right, Alexandra was kidnapped in front of her house, Phillip Jr was kidnapped from his bedroom, every other child has been kidnapped in that way."
Charming, "Except for that one little boy, who was kidnapped in the grocery store."
Red, "And the little girl who was kidnapped from her parent's car on Maine Street."
"How are the patterns of where we found the missing children? Out of all the kidnappings, are the children found in the same location? Like the metal hidden lair that Killian and I found Alexandra in."
Lily, "Red and I found a few of the kids in a metal lair in the woods but on the east part not the northern part of the woods where you and Killian found Alexandra."
Mulan,"I also found an underground lair on the west side of the forest."
"Maybe there is a whole tunnel that connects to other hidden lairs? There must be more lairs and other villains kidnapping children?"
"Swan, we can check out the lair that we found for more clues."
"Yes."Emma thought for a minute. "Red, Lily, Mulan can you search the lairs you've been to, to look for clues and possible tunnels connecting to the other lairs." Mulan, Lily, and Red nodded. "We need to find these villains before they kidnap another child. " Hope began crying and ran to her Mommy.
"Mommy...tay.."Emma scoops Hope into her arms. "Mommy tay..."
"Killian..."
"No! Dada! Tay..."
"Hope, Mommy and Daddy have to figure who the bad guys are." She looks at her squad. "Let me know what you can find. Killian and I will search where we found Alexandra." Red, Mulan, and Lily went to their assignments. Killian calls Henry.
Henry arrives a few minutes later. "Hi, Mom, Dad."
"Henwy."
"Baby sis, why are you crying?"
"Tay....tay...Mommy...Dada..."
"Kid, your sister does not want your Dad and I to leave."
"Mom, I can take Hope home. I finished studying already."
"No.."
"Little sis, we can go to the library to read books and play with Gideon."
"Hopey, did you hear that? You can go to the library with Henry, sweetie. You are going to have so much fun."
Hope stops crying. Henry takes his sister from their Mom. "Mom, Hope will be safe with me."
"Thanks, kid."
Henry brings hope to the library, they see Gideon and Belle. "Hi, Grandma. Hi Gideon." He settles Hope on the floor and she runs to her friend.
"Ee-on." They hug
"Hope."
"Henry, they can play in Gideon's playroom. Just make sure they do not go through the secret passageway."
"Okay. Gideon leads the way."Gideon leads Hope and Henry to his playroom.
Emma drove Killian and her Dad to the metal lair where they found Alexandra. "Emma, I will wait up here, just in case some of the villains return."
"Thanks, Dad. Killian and I can go down and search." Killian opens the metal door letting his wife go down first and he goes down after her. They saw no one in the room and began to search for clues. Emma notices a metal door. "This is not a wall." She kicks the door open and cannot believe what she was seeing...children in cells. "Killian..." Killian joins her and sees what she sees.
"Bloody hell.."
"Killian, get my Dad, and the squad. We need to get these children out of here." Killian uses his walkie talkie to talk to his father in law. Emma enters the room, to the orphans who were afraid. She kneels to their level so they can see her. "It is okay. I am not going to hurt you. My name is Emma. This is my husband, Killian. We are going to take you all out of this jail."
A little girl with brunette hair and brown eyes came up to Emma. "We are from the Black Fairy's realm..."
"What is your name?"
"Bethany."
"Hi, Bethany. We are going to get you a home. All of you, are going to get a new family."
Bethany smiles. "Really?"
"Yes, Bethany. No one is going to hurt you anymore. You are safe here in Storbrook."
Bethany screams, a man approaches behind Killian, "Killian, it is me."
"Aye mate, as, you can see we found children."
Charming was surprised. "I will call Regina, to get the list so we can arrange foster homes for them."
Emma held Bethany's hand. "It is okay, Bethany. That is my Dad. He is going to help us get you all out of here." Emma goes to her Dad and husband. "We need to get them out of here."
"I already called Regina and the rest of our squad." Emma and Killian talked to the children telling them that they are safe and about Storybrooke. The orphans told them about their life in the Black Fairy's realm.
They heard another door open, it was Mulan, Lily, and Red. "Hi, Emma. You were right about tunnels. All of the other lairs are connected to his one."
"Everyone, this is Lily, Red, and Mulan. They work with me. We are all going to take you out of here." She shows Bethany her hand, which Bethany takes, Emma leads Bethany and the rest of her squad and the rest of the orphans out of the underground. Bethany screams. "No..NO!!" She pulls away from Emma.
Emma kneels to her. "Bethany, why are you afraid?"
"The bad men who kidnapped us when we got here will hurt us if we leave."
"Those men belong in prison. We are not going to let them hurt you, or anyone else. One of my jobs is to fight villains and get them to jail. You are safe with my squad and me."
"Aye, if those bad men come, Emma and I will fight them. You are safe." Bethany reaches up to Killian, and he holds her on his hip. "You are safe, Bethany." Emma was in awe, her Killian was making sure that Bethany was safe.
Emma had a feeling that they were being watched, "Everyone, we are not alone. We have company." They see men and women, around the woods."They are here."
Emma blocks off Killian and Bethany, she uses her magic to fight off the villains while Mulan, and Charming fight against villains using swords. Red turned into a wolf and scared the villains so Charming, Emma, and Mulan and arrested them, while Lily and Killian protected the orphans. Lily called the prison guards to arrest them. Emma, Mulan, and Charming guarded the men with Red, while Killian and Lily brought the children to the patrol cars. After the men were safely back with the security guards, Emma, Charming, Mulan returned to their cars. Lily places the red hood back to Red who turned back into human form. They brought the children back to town. Emma drove her yellow bug while Killian was sitting in the back with the children.
At the library, Belle checked up on Henry with Hope and Gideon. "How is it going in here?"
"Gideon and Hope are playing, having fun. Hope and Gideon had snacks."
"Gideon always eats snacks here." Rumplestiltskin arrives. "Hi, Rumple."
"Hi, Belle. I just got a bad feeling of dark magic."
"Grandpa, we can tell my mom, both of my Moms."
"Aye, we shall go to the station."
"Henwy...Mommy..."
Henry holds Hope on his hip. "Yes, Hope. We are going back to the sheriff's station."
"Yay!" Henry smiles.
Emma and her squad arrived at the sheriff's station and got the orphans settled down. Red gave the children meals from Granny's.
Killian sees Tigerlily. "Tigerlily?"
"Hi, Hook. I am here to see the savior."
"That is me, I am Emma. You know my husband?"
"Yes, savior, I am Tigerlily, Hook and I go way back in Neverland."
"Tigerlily, how are you here?"
"After the savior rescued you in Neverland, I was given my wings back helping you both with the dark fairy. I went to work with the rest of the fairies in the fairy realm...I found out when I was there that some of the children from the Black Fairy's..."
"The realm that my mother created..." Rumplestiltskin enters with Gideon, Henry, and Hope.
"Dada!! Mommy!!" Hope runs to her parents.
Killian scoops Hope into his arms. "Little love, did you have playtime with Gideon?"
"Yes."
Emma kisses Hope on the cheek. "Hi, baby girl."
Tigerlily sees Hope. "Who is this cutie?"
"Aye, Tigerlily, this is our daughter Hope. Little love, say hi to Tigerlily."
Hope grabbed on her Daddy's Hook."Hi."
"Hi, Hope. You are so cute. You get your eyes from your Dad."
"Dada..."
Tigerlily sees her godchild. "Rumpelstiltskin..."
"Tigerlily...you are my fairy godmother..."
"Yes, I am...I lost my wings after...your Mother..."
"Turned into the Black Fairy."
"I..I ...had no idea..."
"Crocodile, what are you doing here?" Killian sets Hope down on the ground, Hope leads Gideon to her Dad's desk.
"Tigerlily can you please tell us what you came to tell me."
"The Black Fairy's realm is opened...children are being sent here to this realm..."
Killian, "Does anybody know who is sending them here or why? Emma, do you think it is connected to Hope's dream?"
"My job is to make sure no one will get through that portal anymore..."
"Gold?"
"Miss Swan I do not want anyone from my mother's realm here. I felt the realm's portals."
"We found ten orphaned children who were sent here and kidnapped by villains. They were kidnapped by the same villains who kidnapped children from Storybrooke. We are going to help them by getting them to foster homes."
"You can help them, I am going to find a way to prevent any more of those children from that realm not come here."
"Gold, Gideon can play here with Hope."Emma, Killian, and Rumpelstiltskin look at their children wanting to know what their children know. Hope was returning from her Mom's office with toys, sharing with Gideon.
"Aye,is the black fairy realm children part of the villains' kidnappings?"
"Maybe? It could be."
"Belle is doing some research into the Black Fairy's portals, she will pick him up later." He goes to his son. "Gideon."
"Daddy."
"Mommy will be picking you up, I know you are having fun with Hope."
"Yes." Rumpelstiltskin leaves the station.
"Mommy!" Emma goes to Hope and Gideon.
"Hope, are you sharing toys with Gideon?"
"Yes." Hope hugs her Mommy.
"Hook, you have an amazing wife and beautiful daughter."
Hook smiles. "Aye, from the moment I laid on Emma in the Enchanted Forest, I was in love and changed for the better."
"Savior, I can help."
"Thank you, we need all the help we get." Allison arrives.
"Emma."
"Hi, Allison." They hug. "We have a case, we found ten orphan children in one of the lairs. They are from Black Fairy's realm."
"I can examine them here."
"Thank you, Allison. We are going to assign them to foster homes. Before they can leave, they need to be checked out by you."
"Yes, sheriff." Emma smiles.
Hope goes to Allison."Auntie!"
"Hi, Hope." Hope leads her to Gideon. "Are you playing with Gideon?"
"Yes."
"Hi."
"Hi, Gideon. Are you having fun with Hope?"
"Yes, she is my friend."
"Auntie." Hope hugs Allison.
"Hope, I am going to help your Mommy on her case." Hope babbles. "It is kind of like girl time, but working together not too much talking for fun." Hope babbles. "Yes, when Mommy and I are both free we are going to have our girl talk."
Emma was thinking. "Swan?"
"Killian, can you take Gideon back to Belle and Hope home? This case is going to get very busy."
"Aye, love. I am on it." He goes to Hope and Gideon. "Hope, Gideon time to go bye-bye. "
Hope began crying. "Ee-on...tay.."
"Killian, I got her." Emma holds her daughter. "Hopey, I know you want to stay but you cannot sweetie. Mommy and Dada will be very busy."
"Mom, I can watch Hope and Gideon, I know Hope wants to be nearby you and Dad."
"Okay. Hope, listen to Henry." Henry watches Hope and Gideon in Emma's office while Allison began examining each lost boy or lost girl.
Regina arrives back. "Hi, Emma. Your Dad called me,I have a list of foster parents that are willing to take the children in."
"Perfect." As Emma and her squad talked to each child, Henry watched Hope and Gideon Emma, Lily, Mulan set up areas where the children sat and where they can talk to the children. Belle arrived at the station a few hours later, "Killian."
"Hi, Belle. Belle, this is Tigerlily. Tigerlily is helping us today with our case today."
"Hi, Tigerlily."
"I know your husband, I am his fairy godmother."
"Oh, wow. I..I did not know..."
"He did not know me for too long, after his mother..."
"I know what his mother did to him. Killian,I came to pick up Gideon."
"Aye, your little lad and Hope are having so much fun. Henry watching them in Emma's office."
Belle goes to the office, Gideon hugs his Mom. "Mama."
"Hi, Gideon. Did you have fun playing with Hope?"
"Yes."
"It is time to go home."
"No."
"Yes, Gideon." Hope hugs her friend.
Emma enters her office. "Hope, Gideon can come over to our house to play very soon."
"Mommy." She hugs her Mommy.
"Emma, I know they want to playdate very soon."
"Yes, they will have a playdate very soon." Belle and Gideon leave the sheriff's station. Hope babbles. "Yes, sweetie. Mommy is almost done being sheriff today." She kisses Hope on the head. Allison plays with Hope while Emma and Killian finish up placing the lost children to foster families. Emma and her squad got every child from Black Fairy's realm into foster families. After the last foster family left, Emma talked with her squad, Allison and Tigerlily, to talk about their day. Hope goes to her Mommy, Emma holds her daughter on her hip. "Everyone, we did a great job today to find the rest of the villains and rescue children from the Black Fairy. I am happy to have extra support today from Allison and Tigerlily. Before we end today, I just want everyone, the ones who we assigned foster children to the foster families, I want to make sure all of the foster children are safe. I do not want another Gary case. So everyone is going to check on the foster children tomorrow as part of their assignment on their rounds tomorrow."
"Yes, sheriff." Hope babbles. Everyone got ready to leave, Lily was going to do night patrol, as Red, Mulan, and Charming left the station after a busy long day.
Tigerlily approaches Killian. "Hook, you really have changed. Emma, you changed him for the better."
"Thank you, Tigerlily. Killian and I rescue each other. I heard from him that you helped him to get back to me."
"Yes. I gave him the Black Fairy's wand to give to you. I saw you rescue him."
"Aye, if you did not come when you did, I would have been dead from those lost boys."
"I did everything I can to rescue from what adult Gideon did to you."
"Aye you rescued me,swan."
"I currently rescue Killian from Morgana."
"Oh really?" Tigerlily smiles.
"Aye, my swan is a pirate after all, not just the savior and my wife."
"You two are perfect for each other."
Emma smiles. "Yes, we are. We are always there for each other, fighting villains, sailing on the Jolly Roger with our two kids, and being sheriff and deputy together." She faces Killian. "You and I rescue each other. We always find each other."
"Aye, that is why we are team Swan-Jones, Emma."They kiss.
"Dada."
Killian takes his little love from his swan. "Little pirate princess, did you have fun today?"
"Yes." Hope began crying.
"Do not cry, little love. I know you are hungry." Killian sets down with Hope and gives her a bottle.
Tigerlily sits next to Killian and Hope. "You are such a great Dad, to Hope and Henry."
"Thank you, Tigerlily. I love both of my children."
"You are a wonderful Dad. I am so happy that you have a family with a wonderful wife."
"My swan is perfect for the way she is."
"I have to go back to the fairy realm."
"Thank you for helping us today."
"You are welcome. I am hoping Rumplestiltskin will figure out to prevent others from the Black Fairy's realm from coming here."
"Aye, maybe you can help the rest of the children to return to their homes, in the Enchanted Forest."
Tigerlily smiles. "That is a great idea, Hook. You are very smart."
"Aye, I get a lot of ideas from being around my swan." Hope babbles. "You too, little love."
"Hook, you gave me my next job as a fairy. I will visit soon."
"Aye.it was great seeing you again. Good luck on your next job as a fairy."
"Thank you. Bye, Hook. Bye Hope." Tigerlily leaves the sheriff's station. Henry joined his Dad and sister at his desk. "Dad, are you okay?"
"Yes, I am lad. I was thinking, we can have boy time, maybe a sword lesson?"
"Yes!"
Allison joins Emma in her office. "Hey, I am just finishing up, paperwork."
"Do you need anything else?"
Emma smiles."You helped us so much, today. You saved us by bringing all of the lost boys and girls to the hospital."
"They are healthy but they are neglected and malnourished."
"That is why I am assigning my squad to check on the lost girls and boys at their foster homes to make sure each child gets the love and care that they need."
"They all seem like good foster parents. All of the children you have rescued today are now at safe foster homes. Are they going to be adopted?"
"That is the goal, to get all of the lost boys and girls. They all left the station. Killian wrapped his arms around his swan as they walked to their yellow bug. "You did amazing today swan."
"Thank you. We all worked together rescuing children and finding them foster homes."
"Aye, we are going to make sure that every one of those children are safe, love."
"Now, I want to go home."
"Me too, love."
"Ome."
"Yes, Hope, we are going home baby girl." Emma drove them home. When they arrived home, Killian cooked his family dinner while Emma gave Hope a bubble bath, Hope was babbling away, making her Mommy smile. "Mommy...luv you."
Emma smiles. "I love you so much, Hope." She kisses Hope on the cheek. "My daughter and little duckling." Hope splashes her which made Emma laugh. Killian sees his two loves having one on one time, he takes a picture of Emma and Hope on his iPhone. He returns downstairs to continue finishing up dinner. Emma changed her into an Ariel nightgown. Hope began to cry. "I know, sweetie. Dinner is almost ready. After dinner, bedtime."
"Mommy..."
"Yes, sweetie, we can snuggle after dinner." Emma carries Hope downstairs.
"Dada."
"Little love, dinner is ready." He puts Hope in her chair, Henry gives Hope her plate of steamed broccoli, mashed potatoes, and meatloaf, all cut up.
"Killian, this looks delicious."
"Aye, I wanted to give us a big dinner because I know we all had a long day."
"It looks really good." They kiss. The family had dinner together. Emma and Killian held hands knowing they were together at home safe with their children, Swan-Jones family together. After dinner, Emma did snuggles with Hope while helping Henry study for his final exams in his bedroom. She was happy to be home with her two children who are happy and safe with her.
"Thank you for watching Hope most of the day, while Dad and I were working today."
"You are welcome, I am happy to help out and knowing Hope is happy with me. I knew you and Dad were very busy. You did a great job today, as sheriff and savior."
"Thank you, Henry. I am happy to have arrested those villains and found those orphans."
"They are finally going to have homes not stuck in that realm."
"You saved them, Mom."
"Yes, I did." Henry hugs his Mom and sister. "It is my job to make sure the town is safe for you and Hope."
"You do that, Mom. I knew you were the one going to keep the town safe when I found you."
"You found me, Henry. I would not have this life without you."
"You are the best, Mom. I cannot wait for finals to be over so we can go on vacation."
"Yes, kid. That is our plan for summer. We all need a summer vacation." Henry falls asleep. "I am here for you and Hope, Henry. I will always be there for you two."
Killian takes a picture of his family together on his iPhone and kisses Emma on the head. "My swan."
"My captain. I was thinking..."
"Yes, swan?"
"I was thinking, all of the Black Fairy's babies who she kidnapped, they had families. They are not orphans."
"Yes, they aren't technically, they are just kidnapped, children."
"Maybe we can return them to their families? I mean, to give their parents relief, that their lost children are found and safe."
"Emma, that is a great idea."
"I can get Gold to help us, to track where their parents live and returned them."
"We can sail my ship to return the lost children to their families."
"Yes! We can be captain-swan sheriff and deputy over realms."
"Aye, I love that. You found these children today and now we have another part of their story, returning to their families. love."
"Yes, we are going to reunite these children with their parents."
"Aye, they are not going to be lost lads and lasses anymore, Emma."
"I have you to help me, my deputy."
"Aye, yes, sheriff swan."
Emma smiles. "Which is why we are the perfect team. Team Swan-Jones."
"Aye, team Swan-Jones." They kiss. They looked down at their children who were not lost boys and girls, as they were as children. They have two loving parents who love them endlessly, not lost orphans, but have a home full of love with parents who always love them.
