i was sat opposite luna at breakfast before a quidditch game. when she got an owl he sat there for a while whilst i let her open her letter and parcel in peace. when i saw her getting loads of tears in her eyes and she ran out crying and forgot her letter. so i ran to go give it to her when the quidditch captain aka harry potter asked me to join them for game practice but i decided to ignore them and go find luna. she was sat there crying but with a small smile. i sat down next to her and kissed her on the head. i asked her "what's wrong darling". i couldn't help but cuddle into her. she just whispered,"read the letter". so i did and i smiled and got really excited because i get to spend christmas day with the girl i truly love. i said" so why are you crying" she handed me the note and i read it in my head. i even ended up with tears in my eyes but i didn't even know lunas mum. i explained " hey darling this is really bad timing but the quidditch match is going to start soon. can we talk about this after in my dorm if you would like. also do you want to come watch me against hufflepuff". she said"sure id love too".
we quickly ran down to the pitch.
