Plot/Prompt: Pumpkin and Kenny have been dating for two years now, yet her brother Jon was never aware that his sister was dating his greatest enemy.

The bright sunlight slowly but surely peaked through the hotel curtains causing Pumpkin to wake up from her peaceful slumber, still engulfed in the strong arms of her boyfriend since two years ago, Kenny Omega.
She smiled fondly at the man next to her and brought his forehead to her lips in a kiss then reached out to get her phone to check the time, the white illuminating numbers reading 7:45 am making Pumpkin swear loudly and Kenny to wake up.
“Pumpkin, what's wrong?” he asked in a concerned voice. “I have to grab breakfast with Jon at eight o'clock and it’s already seven forty five!” she exclaimed, rapidly tossing her already messy black curly hair to a messy bun. That'll suffice she thought to herself.
Pumpkin was never the one to finish getting ready first to say the least so needless to say, taking a “quick” shower or putting on makeup was not in the cards.
“Mmm, you better get ready then, I'll be here, comfortable and happy and stress-free, not needing to keep my wonderful, amazing, loving relationship a secret from my crazy brother” Kenny said snuggling more into the soft pillows and spreading his limbs to all four corners of the hotel bed while she quite literally ran to her suitcase and putting on the first thing her hands touched, an AEW shirt and her Young Bucks sweatpants.
“First of all, don’t call him that again or I'll do him a favor and kick your ass even before Full Gear to soften you up for him and second, wow baby, I’m shocked, here I thought you would tell me to ditch him and just keep on cuddling with you. That’s ice cold Ken” she said, her hand over her heart in mock hurt.
“Sorry Pumpkin but that's just how life is sometimes, still love you though” he winked making her roll her eyes and kiss him on the lips. “Bye baby, I'll be back soon, I love you and please, don’t get yourself into a stupid mess while I’m gone” she pleaded playfully then picked up her wallet, keys and her phone.
“I love you too, stay safe, although for that last one, I'll try for you but don’t get your hopes up.” He grinned.
“I’m serious Kenneth, bye” she said before walking out the door and jogging to the little café her brother, Jon Moxley texted her about yesterday night.

“Pumpkin Spice Latte! There you are! Thought you would never show up!” the fellow Ohioan said as he embraced his sister “Missed you” he muttered into her hair as she hugged him back just as tight. “I missed you too Moxley. How long has it been?”
“Maybe a little too long, I missed my fun-sized Pumpkin Spice”
With that, they walk into the building and order some food and get right into talking.
“So, how are you? How's Renee?” Pumpkin asked her brother. She was always fond of her sister-in-law, often telling her stories about “The Absurd Adventures of Pumpkin and Jonathan”, as it was called along with some horrifyingly embarrassing incidents in Jon's life which never fails to make Renee laugh and Jon to quietly curl up in shame and wish that he hadn't invited his sister over.
“Oh lemme tell you, she is one busy lady, she's got a lot on her plate right now, she's got her own show and everything. As for me though, I’ve been busy too, trying to think of new moves to torture that man, I've been hanging out in the gym frequently too, getting ready to kick Omega's ass within an inch of his life, the usual, so here's my plan for that fight.” He grinned, continuing to tell his little sister about his plans for the match in gruesome detail.
Pumpkin was thankful that Jon was so into telling his beloved plan that he didn’t notice her grimace at the mention of her boyfriend. She knew that Moxley was really mad at Kenny and that he would do everything in his power to prove himself right, that he was the best wrestler and if the way of being able to prove that was to legitimately hurt one of the EVPs of the company that he worked for without a lawsuit being filed against him, he would take it. She knew that she had to tell him about their relationship some time but the truth is, she wanted to tell him sooner, even before he left WWE but he had so much to worry and think about, his elbow, his contract with said company, his awful storylines, she didn’t want Mox to worry about her love life too. She knew he was overprotective because he always was. Most likely if he knew about them being an item, he would have stalked the guy on the internet, see if he was "worthy” maybe even go and see him in real life behind her back and confront him but during that time, she wanted none of that. Now here Pumpkin is, faced with a dilemma, she took too long now her brother and her boyfriend is going to try to murder each other in a few days time.
Even if her heart hurt keeping her beloved relationship away from her best friend, there was no way she was telling now. It will only make it worse for all three of them.

Pumpkin and Kenny just got to the arena. Pumpkin was wearing a hoodie and sweatpants 3 sizes too big for her and sunglasses.
“Pumpkin, c'mon don’t you think you’re going a little bit over the top? I mean, Moxley’s probably not even here yet and besides, do you really think he could take me down if he was?” He scoffed pulling down the hood of her jacket which she quickly put back up again.
“Why yes Kenny, I do think that my brother could kill you if he wanted to, that’s why I’m hiding! I mean no offence, you’re an amazing wrestler, just absolutely amazing, six star worthy babe but you’re not the one who had to sit through him discussing all the magnificent things he's planning to do to you okay? So could you please shut up? I know what my brother is capable of.” She huffed before grabbing her bags and storming off to the women’s locker room, hoping no one saw their exchange.

After his match, Kenny set off to find his girlfriend, he was well aware that she was upset after their last talk and he couldn’t bare it whenever they weren’t at their best and the least thing that he could do is to not scream out her name as he searched the corridors for the short girl nicknamed “Pumpkin” by family and friends.
Finally, after ten minutes of searching for her, there she was, sitting on one of the crates backstage, watching something (probably his match) on her phone and a sandwich at hand.
“Hey there stranger” Kenny said walking towards her cautiously, still trying to figure out what her body language was implying, whether she wanted to see him or punch him but still a charming smile on his face, his arms wide to hug her.
“Hi baby Ken." She said opening her arms as well and Kenny just walked into them.
“Sorry about earlier, if you don’t want to tell your brother about us yet, I should respect that but still, I think you just have a tiny bit more faith in me.” He jokingly told her making her chuckle.
“Okay, I forgive you and maybe, just maybe, if you were to fight right now, you could land a punch on him or maybe not right now cause you’re fresh off an amazing match and tired but you know what I mean” she joked back at him.
Kenny sat next to her as she gushed to him about his awesomesauce match and how it was so cool and how proud she was of him and it escalated to them making out in an empty hallway.

“K-Ken, I think I hear someone walking towards us.” Pumpkin said catching her breath before looking behind her “No one’s there, I promise” was muttered and their lips connected again.
Not a minute passed before Kenny was pulled away, not from his own will, but Jon was now on top of him pounding away at his face, Kenny was trying to block it, arms shielding his face but it was no use, blow after blow connected. “What the fuck are you doing to my sister huh? You think you have the right to do that? You think you’re good enough for her? Think again you fuck! I don’t know who you think you are but you better get away from her.” He spat out, punctuating it with a right hand to Omega's forehead, causing it to bleed.
“Hey! Jon get off of him!” Pumpkin yelled trying to pry away her brother’s body from her boyfriend's.
“And you! Why did you not tell me about this?” He said getting in her face.
She was about to speak when all of a sudden, Kenny grabbed Jon and threw him into a crate with a bunch of stuff on it making it all fall to the ground with a bang!
“Don’t talk to her like that!” Then it was Kenny who pulled Moxley’s head by his hair and repeatedly slammed his head into the crate.
“Guys! Guys stop, please!” Pumpkin pleaded getting in between then and pushing Kenny away from her brother.
Kenny looked down at her seething then saw the unshed tears in her eyes and started to calm down. He raised his arms up in surrender and walked away.
“I'll see you later” he said, wiping away the blood that ran down his face with the back of his hand. “Love you"
“No you fucking won’t see my sister later you no good piece of shit!” Mox yelled.
Pumpkin sighed before turning her attention back to her brother.
“Jon! In what world was that necessary?” She asked angrily as her brother slowly stood up with the help of Pumpkin, a Cheshire cat-like grin on his face.
“That was satisfying” He breathed before focusing on his sister.
“Well you didn’t let me know sooner, not my fault” he shrugged before walking away.
“Jon! Let’s talk”
“What is there to talk about Pumpkin? You promised me years ago that when you had a partner, you would tell me. That I was the first to know, now I see you and-" he cringed before continuing “-Omega sucking faces, OMEGA OUT OF ALL PEOPLE! THERE ARE SO MANY- THERE ARE 2 BILLION! BILLION, PUMPKIN, NOT MILLION PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD AND YOU COULD HAVE ANYONE YOU WANT AT THE SNAP OF YOUR FINGERS AND OUT OF ALL OF THEM? You pick that guy? Pumpkin, I’m going to be honest with you now, you deserve so much more” he scoffed.
“Jon, I’m sorry I didn’t tell you. I planned on telling you, I swear but when you were with WWE, you were so busy, then when you got out, I was busy then you attacked Ken and this whole thing between you two started! I didn’t have the time to tell and I didn’t have the guts to tell you when I found out that you and Ken have a thing against each other. Don’t blame him, blame me. It’s my fault, not his.” Pumpkin said, her head down in guilt for causing both of her favorite guys in the world pain. “I’m sorry"
Jon shook his head before hugging her. “It’s fine, I understand but please, no making out while I’m around, please? Even after this feud between us is over?” he asked.
“Okay, I promise. Now if you excuse me, I have to check on my bloody boyfriend” she said before walking away, laughing at Jon’s disgusted face.
Pumpkin rushed to the trainer’s room and saw Kenny there still being stitched up and talking to Cody about what just happened.
“Hey Ken” she quietly said kneeling at his side and kissing his cheek before moving to the foot of the bed beside Cody.
“Can we talk?” Cody asked before getting up and walking about of the room.
You patted your boyfriend’s feet before following him out of the room.
“What happened?” he asked seriously.
“We got caught making out backstage. Jon didn’t know that we were together and yeah, you know how he gets sometimes but please, don’t punish him. Don’t punish either of them, punish me. If you’re planning on suspending them, suspend me because it’s not their fault, it was mine. If I had just told Jon that me and Kenny were an item, this would have been averted, but I didn't have the courage to" she said ashamed looking down.
Just in time, Kenny walked out of the room and put his hand on her shoulder.
“Even if you didn’t, it’s unprofessional of him to bust me open. I’m just glad that I’m medically cleared for Full Gear and Cody doesn’t plan on suspending anyone so you don’t have to worry about that. He just wanted to know what happened when I left.” Kenny explained and a big rush of relief went through Pumpkin’s body.
“Thank Gosh for that. Thank you Cody” she said.
Cody smiled and nodded at her. “What happened between the both of you when Kenny left?”
“He said a lot of things about Ken but that’s to be expected then he didn’t say that we should break up, just no affection when he’s around and that’s it"
With that, Cody nodded and went back to his duties.
“Pumpkin, what did he really say?” Kenny asked when his fellow EVP was out of sight.
“Nothing else than what I just said but uh, I know it’s hard to believe but he likes you. He may not say it and he'll probably deny it til he dies but I know and I’m sure he likes you” she smiled up at him and she saw a small smile creeping up Kenny’s features as well making her breath hitch at the sight.
“Did your breath just hitch?” he asked, now a big grin on his face.
“NO! OF-OF COURSE NOT W-WHY WOULD I-WHY WOULD MY BREATH JUST-JUST HITCH UPON SEEING YOUR HANDSOME FACE-I MEAN UGLY! UGLY FACE-W-WHY?” Pumpkin cutely stammered, red now covering her blushing face before Kenny leaned down and captured her lips with his.
“Don’t worry, my breath hitches when I see you too” he said and if it was possible that Pumpkin's face to go redder, it did.
“Kennyyyy" she whined burying her face into his chest. “How's your gash?”
“It’s fine babe, nothing too bad. Don’t you worry about me”
