♡ kenny omega christmas headcannons ♡

♡ when he first wake up, he doesn't actually realize it's christmas despite the fact that he's been raving about it for days now

♡ he just continues to spoon you, tightening his grip around your waist, and nuzzle his face into your neck just as he always does for the past few weeks. it's cold and he wants some of your warmth

♡ even when you giggle and try to move away from the tickle that his beard sends down your spine, he doesn't relent

♡ "c'mon baby, lemme have this-" it's only mumbled due to him not being fully awake yet and his voice is thick and deep with sleep

♡ "-it's almost-" then he gasps when the realization hits him

♡ "it's christmas!"

♡ and now he's fully awake and practically jumps out of bed

♡ he looks at you, the lovely irises of his eyes are bright and excited, filled to the brim with joy. "get out of bed, what are you doing?"

♡ you laugh, but do as he says anyway. the way his eyes are twinkling is irresistible and you don't have it in yourself to turn him down during the special occasion

♡ you both hurry to get dressed, putting on a sweater, parka, bottoms that are well-suited for the weather, snow boots, gloves, and a beanie before running outside like children experiencing their first snow day

♡ you laugh as snow falls around you, sticking out your tongue to catch a snowflake while kenny lays down to make snow angels

♡ after a minute, he sits up and turns to you, "baby, come on and build snow angels with me."

♡ the look on his face was too adorable to refuse

♡ he was already adorable most days, but it was just a whole 'nother level right now. his eyes are bright, and the area around his raised cheeks and nose were a light shade of pink. the way his cheeks were so rounded and hair so curled made him look like a cherub. the fact that he had a stress-free, carefree glow didn't help as well

♡ you sat down on the patch of snow next to him and spread out your limbs, making a snow angel beside his

♡ then he had the idea to build a snowman. you had to run inside to grab a carrot while he got started on it

♡ you guys built a fairly big one together, you had to stand on your tippy toes to firmly stick the carrot on the middle of his face

♡ you didn't have the chance to wonder where your boyfriend has gone for long, the snowball that smashed against the back of your head gave enough indication

♡ without turning around, you gathered a good amount of snow in your hand and patted it into the shape of a ball. you didn't want to risk getting nailed in the face without anything to defend yourself with

♡ the moment the snowball was formed was the moment you turned around, quickly scanning the area to spot where your boyfriend was at. once you saw him, you threw the snowball at his direction

♡ you guys had a little snowball fight until his growling stomach interrupted it

♡ it was time for breakfast

♡ after ridding yourself of your snowy clothes, you did your morning routine which ended with you digging the leftovers from last night's christmas eve dinner out of the fridge and heating them up

♡ while one of the dishes was in the microwave, kenny put on some christmas music and proceeded to grab your hand and twirl you under his arm

♡ you guys danced around in the kitchen while waiting for everything to be warm enough to eat

♡ you guys ate pretty quickly, excited to unwrap the number of presents under the giant, probably over-decorated christmas tree you had standing in the corner of the living room

♡ after washing the dishes - for a while, you teased kenny by scrubbing a plate really slowly. he just really wanted to get into the presents already - you two piled by the christmas tree and gathered the presents you had for the other

♡ you guys decided to take turns in unwrapping gifts. he was the one to unwrap a present first after you lost a game of rock-paper-scissors

♡ the first thing you gifted him was a new funky button down shirt. after wearing so much of them in the last year, he once verbalized to you how he was slowly getting more fond of them. you noticed that there was only a few of them in his side of the closet and took it upon yourself to fix that problem

♡ then it was your turn

♡ the first thing he gifted you was an item you've had your eye on for a while now. you always talked to kenny about it, but you never realized how he paid so much attention to the things you tell him. the fact that he listened and remembered warmed your heart

♡ your next gift for him was a new video game. you saw it on his twitter likes, and also saw that his gamer friends - who had the same taste as him - liked it as well. people who have played it had nothing but nice things to say too

♡ you guys continued doing that until you ran out of presents and the rest of the day was spent with you two cuddled up on the couch, watching funny christmas movies, and drinking warm christmas drinks
