The Vision

One afternoon, you felt your stomach almost churn inside out. In fact, the feeling itself became so drastic that, as you stood before the mirror in the bathroom, washing your face, you gritted your teeth and fell pale. Ginny and Hermione, both beside you, noticed the horrific expression upon your face and opened their mouths to inquire as for your well-being, only for you barge them both out of the way as you charged into the closest stall, pushing it open, as you immediately dropped down onto your knees and hovered your face above the toilet, producing a whole load of vomit. Ginny and Hermione, also terrified, charged in after you. Hermione immediately fell down onto her knees beside you, as Ginny stood behind and held your hair back.

"Breathe."

Once you'd finished, you groaned tiredly and sat down on the floor in the same place, breathing heavily. Ginny also squatted down now and let go of your hair, as Hermione passed you some toilet paper, which you used to wipe your mouth. Ginny thus flashed the toilet and sat down beside you in the stall as well, Hermione and Ginny both watching you intently and waiting for you to speak.

"I feel shit," you finally groaned out, leaning against the stall wall and hitting the back of your head against it.

"Did you eat something bad?" Hermione asked.

"No. I don't think so. I've felt sick for the past few days ... but it's just ... I've just been feeling off."

"Late period?" Ginny asked.

"Why would that matter?" Hermione asked, turning to Ginny. "She won't be pregnant."

"I know ... just wondering," Ginny mumbled, turning to you.

You forced out a weak laugh as you shook your head. "Came off my period three days ago."

"How would that even work? The new Virgin Mary?" Hermione laughed.

"You never know!" Ginny also laughed. "But you're pale, [F/n]. We should get you to bed."

"I'm fine."

"You're not fine. You're shaking."

"I've been stressed. I keep feeling uneasy ... and like something is about to happen, but I don't know what."

Hermione and Ginny looked upon you for a while longer, worry encompassing them both. Finally, the two simultaneously stood up and lifted you up with them as they directed you out of the bathroom. You didn't question where they were leading you as you soon caught on that you were heading in the direction of the Slytherin common room. This proved true, as the three of you finally walked inside and discovered Draco Malfoy's friendship group, with the boy himself, sitting around the round table at the back, playing cards. Some more Slytherins sat around the common room, but your particular attention was on Draco Malfoy, as he did not even notice you walk in due to his laughing with his friends.

Hermione and Ginny stood at both your sides, almost like body guards, which proved exceptionally useful for the moment that the entire Slytherin common room began to spin and the differentiation between the ceiling and the floor proved difficult. Your knees gave in before you, as your entire body flopped down and, with no choice, feebly dropped onto the floor. It was, however, in the final moment grabbed by Hermione and Ginny, as they, panicking, held you to avoid you hitting the ground harshly. Everyone in the Slytherin common room now turned to the three of you; Hermione and Ginny in their panicked positions, and you in your barely-conscious one.

"Can someone put her on the sofa!?" Ginny groaned out to the Slytherins, who stood around and watched. Those on the sofa who took up the space, but primarily and indirectly to Draco and Blaise, who had the strength to easily lift you up, but were in such a state of shock that the most they could do was also stare.

Blaise was out of his seat before Draco. The blonde boy proved useless as the most he could do was stare, his jaw gently lowered, his eyes widened, and feelings of horror running through his veins at the sight of your arms lifelessly dropping down and the pale look on your face. Thankfully, Blaise himself was strong enough to lift you up bridal style and carry you to the sofa, instructing the Slytherins to get off. He thus lowered you and gently placed you down, propping a pillow under your bed.

"I'll get water," Hermione said, dashing out of the Slytherin common room.

Draco had now recovered as he stood up and made his way over to the sofa, as all the other Slytherins also had, and they stood around and watched you almost like an animal in a circus. Ginny, angrily, pushed them all out of the way as she got down beside you, kneeling on the floor beside your face as she placed her hand on your forehead and cheeks.

"She's burning."

"What do we do? What happened?" Blaise asked, also dropping down to his knees and doing the same action as Ginny just had, feeling your forehead and cheeks.

"She was sick in the bathroom just now."

Blaise flashed Ginny a horrified look of alarm, prompting Ginny to follow on with a whisper, "came off her period three days ago," at which Blaise sighed of relief. Draco, however, stood behind the both and looked down at you, writhing in feeling of discomfort.

"This sucks," you huffed out, barely alive.

"Did you eat?" Blaise asked.

"Yes, you dumb bitch," you groaned out, sweat prickling on your forehead.

"You're barely conscious and you still call me a dumb bitch," Blaise laughed quietly, inspiring Ginny and you to also laugh gently. "Your Gryffindor friend went to grab you some water. Do you feel like you're going to be sick again?"

"I don't know," you huffed. "Can everyone stop staring at me?"

"Yeah, all of you - fuck off!" Blaise called out, shoo-ing everyone away. Though bitter, everyone agreed and stepped away, no longer crowding you. This was for the exception of Draco, who stayed standing behind Blaise, directly looking down at you.

"Draco, come on," Pansy said, nudging him to leave with her.

"What?"

"Come on. No point staying here."

"I'm not going."

"Why not?"

Draco turned from Pansy, returning into his dazed state as his worried eyes look upon you. "I'm staying with [F/n]."

Though Pansy did not say anything further, her mind could not help but pick at Draco's usage of your first name. An unusual occurrence it was, and left her thinking as she went through her day.

Soon enough, Hermione arrived with a wet towel and a glass of water. The cold, wet towel was placed on your forehead, as the glass of water was given to you to sip on. All the Slytherins now, uncomfortable, had left the Slytherin common room, leaving you in there simply with the four people you greatly cared about. Blaise, Hermione and Ginny were on their knees, kneeling beside you on the sofa, whilst Draco stayed standing behind them, showing little to no emotion.

"Why's Malfoy still here?" Hermione finally huffed out. "She doesn't need you here."

Draco looked at Hermione, then dodged her eyes without a word and returned to watching you.

"I'm serious!" She called out again.

"Leave him," you groaned out, "I want him to stay."

"What?" Hermione turned to you, horrified. "Am I missing something?"

"[F/n]," Draco finally huffed out as he gained the ability to speak to you. Immediately, he gently moved Ginny and Blaise aside as they were directly beside your face, and he also kneeled down onto the floor, so that now he could be directly before you, his voice accessible to your ears. "You were sick?"

Though uncomfortable and ill, you could not help but feebly laugh. With a weak but wry grin, you turned to him. "I'm sorry, Draco ... you're going to be a - "

"Are you trying to give the boy a heart attack?" Blaise called out, interrupting you, holding in his own laughter. Draco's own face had fallen pale as he stared at you, horrified, whilst Ginny's and Blaise's faces were encompassed with a cruel laugh.

"What?" Draco exhaled weakly.

"She's joking." Blaise said, patting Draco on the back. "It was the first thing I thought about too, but she came off her period three days ago."

Draco now exhaled of relief, and the colour slightly returned to his face, but that did not entirely wipe the worry from him. Nevertheless, pregnant or not, you were still sick for an unknown reason, and were growing weak. Knowing your luck, it had to do something with Voldemort, and everyone in the room currently was, consciously or not, aware of that.

"I'm ... confused," Hermione mumbled, watching Draco's worrisome expression as he looked upon you, and your expression of ease and joy as you looked back at him. "Can someone tell me what's going on, then?"

Sighing, you opened your mouth to tell Hermione, at least to a certain extent, why you and Draco were nice to each other. However, as you did so, no sound came out as you felt the immediate striking pain of your scar, bursting through the rest of your body and inspiring you to start writhing in pain. Your scream followed. Yet, soon enough, you'd lost yourself from the present moment. Draco, Ginny, Blaise, Hermione all disappeared from your field of view as you now found yourself in the ... exact same room as Mr Weasley had once been in.

Prophecy crystal balls ... all around. Aisles. Plenty of them. Shelves stacked with the balls. So many of them. In the middle, Sirius. Sirius Black - your godfather.

"I need that prophecy," you heard the voice you recognised ever so well say.

"You'll have to kill me first."

And thus, Lord Voldemort appeared within sight, circling Sirius, holding his wand tightly. Without a second to spare, Voldemort lifted his wand and struck Sirius with a spell, after which Sirius began to writhe in pain, curling up into a small ball of pain, his screams physically ringing in your ears.

Gasping for breath, you shot back up. On the sofa in the Slytherin common room, you looked around and saw the terrified faces of those who you cared about the most. They looked more horrified than ever, with tears circling in Hermione's eyes.

"[F/n]!" She cried out, hugging you immediately.

"We have to go!"

"Where?"

"Sirius - he's got him!" You cried out, immediately filled with heroic energy as you jumped off the sofa, already ready to leave the common room. "Quick - we need to go."

"[F/n], slow down," Draco said, taking a hold of your arm.

"No, Draco," you turned back to him, inhaling deeply as you looked upon him. "I have to go save him."

"Save who?" Ginny asked from behind.

"Sirius. I had a vision. Again."

"[F/n] - stop! What if it's Voldemort trying to lure you in? They warned us about this! About Voldemort trying to enter yours and Harry's minds!" Hermione cried out, approaching you.

"No, Hermione. I'm certain. I could feel Sirius' screaming when Voldemort started torturing him. And the same thing happened with Mr Weasley! I can't risk losing Sirius!"

"Let's contact Grimmauld Place and see if Sirius is there to double check, then!"

"How are we going to contact them?" Ginny asked.

"Floo powder?"

"Where are we going to get Floo powder from?" You asked. By now, Blaise and Draco became excluded from the conversation completely, looking back and forth from you, Ginny and Hermione as you exchanged words of worry and panic.

"Sneak into Umbridge's office." Hermione suggested. "If you want, I can distract her."

"Sounds good. I'll call up the Black house, then," you said.

"I'll go inform the others of the vision," Ginny nodded, "where should we all meet and when?"

"Half an hour enough?"

"Sounds good. Where?"

"Main doors?"

"Sounds good."

Ginny and Hermione were already on their way to leave, standing by the doors and waiting for you to come and join them, as you had to turn back once more to Draco, who looked upon you longingly.

"I'll come," he said.

"No." You shook your head. "This ... I can't drag you into this."

"I told you, I'm not leaving you."

You bit your lip. You wanted Draco to come, indeed, but you knew the dangers of it. Exposing him to this world ... this world of danger, and risking him finding out about his father. You could not do that to him; thus, you shook your head, inhaling deeply.

"Just this time," you whispered, "leave me. Then, from here on, never leave me."

Draco also bit his lip, looking at you.

"Merlin, you're so fucking annoying," he groaned out, grabbing your arm and pulling you in forcefully before placing his lips against yours. Ginny and Blaise remained unfazed, watching sadly as they saw the pain it inspired within you at the parting. Hermione, on the other hand, choked on her own saliva as she watched in horror at the action. Yes, she saw it all. She saw Draco pull you in, she saw Draco wrap his arms around you protectively, she saw your hands on his shoulders, you kissing him back, both of you refusing to part.

"[F/n]," Ginny finally said softly.

Sighing, you parted from Draco, and he looked upon you wistfully.

"I'll be waiting for you."

Flashing him a final smile, you set off. Speed walking through the hallways of Hogwarts with Hermione and Ginny, Hermione could not help from staring at you, a mixture of confusion, shock, and vehement anger.

"Explain!" She screamed out, walking beside you.

"Another time!" You said.

"Ginny - are you not confused!?"

"I kind of knew," she laughed gently, walking.

"What the hell!?"

Determined, you furrowed your brows. You knew what you had to do. It was time to secure safety of those who were important to you. You'd been waiting for this - you'd been training for the entire year for this. Battle practice, strategic, tactical practice. Pain practice. You had it all. And, now, it was time to put it to good use.
