The kingdom of panchal was not ignorant of the beauties they beheld. Maharaja Drupad had two beautiful daughters. Both of them were very kind and compassionate. They were sisters.
Both of them shared similar choices and unfortunately their choice of groom was also same- Prince Arjuna. The reason both of them were not really in friendly terms recently. Earlier they were inseparable-well still they are but now they quarrel too. Who deserves prince Arjun more- the topic which starts all the quarrel.

"Well jiji, I still feel Rajkumar Arjun is destined to marry me" Niyati cried with a smile.
" My darling sister,rajkumar Arjun is destined to be with me . Lord shiva had blessed me that I will marry whoever I wish to. And your blessing which lord shiva had given you was you will marry the man you are destined to. Your choice doesn't really count." Draupadi cried smirking.
"You are right jiji. I dont know if this is a blessing or a curse that lord shiva gifted me." Niyati cried saddened .
Draupadi immediately regretted her words. She loved her sister a lot and cared about her.
"Arre! No lord shiva didn't curse you. Who knows who you are destined to be with? It maybe Arjun" draupadi cried rolling her eyes.
Niyati's face glowed with happiness .
"Or anyone else" Draupadi added.
"Whoever it is, I want him to be only mine. He should love me eith all his heart." Niyati cried.
"Well then I doubt you will get a kshatriya. As kshatriya princes normally have more than one wife.
And you cant expect your husband to not remarry. You have to settle with a brahmin. But dont ever marry a suta"
Draupadi cried in a firm tone.
"Why jiji? How are suta different from kshatriya? They too can be good fighters if they are trained properly." Niyati cried innocently.
"But suta is a low class. They are not supposed to be warriors."
"Only because they are born yo a suta family doesn't mean they cant be warriors"Niyati cried
"Absolutely true!". It was a very familiar voice. Both the sisters turned around to find their best friend standing behind them.
"GOVIND!" Both the sisters cried together.
"We should never distinguish between two castes sakhi draupadi. Moreover one's right and profession should be determined by his talent and not his birth" Krishna cried in his calm and serene voice.
Niyati nodded.
"Now my dear sakhis tell me who do you want to marry. Tomorrow is you Both's swayamvar. "
"Prince arjun" both the sisters cried together.
"Arjun from Hastinapur" govind cried with a knowing smile.
"But I thought Niyanti wants her husband to be faithful to her and not remarry"
" yes govind"
"Then you both cant marry arjuna. One of you will surely!"
Saying this govind left and both the girl continued their quarrel.
In the evening Niyati went out visit the fair(mela). Draupadi was busy combing her hair in a new style.
In the mela , niyati was busy walking when suddenly she collided with a man. She fell down . She quickly got up to find a very handsome man standing in front of her. It didn't take her a second to recognize the man in front of her.
"Rajkumar Arjun" Niyati was surprised .
She smiled.
Prince arjun was lost in her smile.
"Its nice people haven't forgotten me. After my disappearance from Hastinapur I didn't really expect people to remember me."Arjun cried with a sadness in his voice as he remembered how his own cousins had planned to murder him and his four brother in varnavrat., howthey had fled from there and how he was living disguised as a brahmin with his mother and brothers.
"Your cousin Duryodhan is still in the illusion that you are dead. I hate that man. How can someone be so cruel to murder his own cousin?" Niyati cried anger reflecting in her face.
"I know . That Duryodhan and his younger brother dushashan are always unfair to us. But my main rival is Duryodhan's friend . He claims to be the best archer in the world but I am a far superior archer . He is a sutaputra but Duryodhan gifted him the land of Anga. So now he is The Angraj . His name is Karn-Angraj Karn. He is evil just like his friend." Arjhn cried.
"That is ridiculous to know that there are more people like Duryodhana .I hope I never have to meet this Angraj Karn." Niyati cried.
Hardly did she know what her destiny had in store for her.
