Blake's outfit

Chapter Seven
🐺 Night School 🐺

The school doors slam shut, shaking on their hinges as Scott and Stiles grip the handlebars with everything they've got. "Lock it, lock it!" Scott yelled while Blake got out her dazed moment. "Do I look like I have a key?"

"Grab something-"

"What?"

"Anything."

While Scott clutches the handlebars, Stiles looks out the doors to the bolt cutters leaning against the wall outside. Blake looked over at him, seeing the face he got whenever he had an idea, "No." She said and he looked at her. "I have to." He said making her look at him crazy.

"No you don't. There's other ways that don't involve you willingly sacrificing yourself." She said and he just smiled softly at her, "I have to." He said and then pushed past Scott and ran outside. Blake ran over to the door, looking out the window, along with Scott.

Holding still, Stiles glances into the darkness. All he sees is the breath pluming from his lips. Then feet moving, he races to the side of the building where the bolt cutters lie.

Grabbing them, he turns back to see Scott and Blake staring out the window of the door, trying to speak. Trying to
say "Run!" Stiles slowly turns his head as something lopes out of the
darkness.

Stiles charges back in with the bolt cutters. Scott grabs the other handle, the two of them fumbling to get both sides of the tool down into the bars, a makeshift lock. "That won't hold, will it?" Scott said and Stiles shook his head, "Probably not." He answered and Blake turned to him pointing.

"You. Never do that again!" She said picking him in the chest and he grabbed her hand away from his chest, nodding, "I won't." He said.

They all look back at the doors for a moment before running. They run into a classroom and Stiles makes a beeline for the teacher's desk, "The desk- the desk."

The two boys slip around the teacher's desk and start pushing it toward the door only to flinch at the loud squeal of metal against tile before Blake shot forward and stopped them. "Stop, a desk isn't gonna keep him out." Blake said and they nodded.

"It's your boss."

"What?"

"Deaton. The Alpha. Your boss."

"No-"

"Yes. Murdering, psycho werewolf."

"It can't be."

"He disappears and that thing shows
up ten seconds later to toss Derek
twenty feet through the air. That's
not convenient timing?" Stiles said but Scott just shook his head, not wanting to believe him. "It's not him."

"He killed Derek." Stiles said making Blake take a deep breath and look down at the ground. "Derek's not dead. He can't be dead." Scott argued.

"Blood spurted out of his mouth.
That doesn't exactly qualify as a
minor injury. He's de-"

"He's not dead!" Blake said looking back up at them, while shaking her head, "He can't be." She said and Stiles's face softened as he noticed the tears in her eyes. She just lost her last family member. "Blake-"

"He's not dead. I would feel it. But if we don't get moving we will be." She said and he sighed and nodded, "Okay, okay.
We get to my Jeep. We get out of here. You seriously think about quitting your job. Good?" He asks looking at Scott, who nods.

They turn to the windows to view the parking lot. Quietly stepping to the furthest window, they spot Stiles's
Jeep sitting in the lot about twenty yards away. Scott puts his hands on the window sill, going to try to open it but Stiles spoke up, "They don't open. The school's climate controlled."

"Then we break it." Scott said and Blake squinted at him, "Which would cause a lot of noise." She said making him sigh.
"So then we run really fast." They glance back to the Jeep. Now seeming much further away, "Really fast."

While Stiles and Scott starts looking for something to break one of the
windows, Blake comes closer to the glass. "Stiles?" She said making him look over at her, "What's wrong with the hood of your Jeep?" She asked and he looked at her confused. "What do you mean? Nothing's wrong."

"It's bent."

"You mean dented?"

"I mean bent." She said and Stiles cups his eyes to the window. Oddly, the Jeep's hood twists up toward the windshield like the top of a tin can. "What the hell-"

A sudden explosion of glass by their heads makes Stiles instantly grab Blake, pulling her down while covering her head. Ducked under the window, they look past raised arms to see something
skidding across the tile and slamming to a stop on the opposite side of the room amid a shower of broken glass.

Stiles, Blake and Scott sit frozen underneath the classroom window, staring at the Jeep's battery in front of them. "That's my battery." Stiles said and they nodded slowly, still slightly stunned. Stiles starts to get up but Scott grabs him, "Don't."

"We have to move."

"He could be right outside."

"He is right outside." Stiles argue and Scott keeps him down, hand gripping his friend's shoulder. "Just let me take a look."Craning his neck to see out the window, Scott glances around the empty and dark school lot. "Anything?" Stiles asked and Scott shook his head.

"Move now?"

"Move now."

Stiles pulls Blake up and they all run out of the classroom. They glance down the opposite ends of the corridor,
nervously drifting forward. "This way." Scott said but Stiles stopped him, "No, no--somewhere without windows."

"Every single room in this building has windows." Blake said, neither her or Stiles noticed they they were still holding hands. "Somewhere with less windows." He said and then realization crossed over Scott's features, "The locker room."

They quickly run to the locker room and slip inside, slightly breathing heavy. A sudden rush of dizziness and the feeling of pressure on her chest, Blake leaned against a locker, breathing heavily while the boys talked. She closed her eyes, knowing exactly what the feeling was. She couldn't hear whatever Scott and Stiles were talking about until Stiles started to turn to the doors making Blake tug on his hand.

"Stop." She said making both of them turn to her, "What's wrong?" Stiles asked, looking at her in concern. She slowly looked up, opening her eyes to reveal her iris and pupils gone and her eyes completely white making them look at her shocked.

"Someone's going die." She whispered as her eyes went back to normal making Scott and Stiles look at each other. "Who?" Stiles asked and Blake just shook her head, "I don't know."

"Wait, I think I head something." Scott said making them look at him. He listens for a moment and then a shadow passes by the mottled glass window of the door. Mere centimeters from them. "Hide." Scott said.

Stiles draws back into the darkness pulling Blake with him. They all glance around in terrified desperation.
There is nowhere to hide. Stiles looks to Scott with pleading eyes. But Scott doesn't seem to know what to do either.
"The lockers." Blake whispered making Scott look at her crazy, "What no-"

"It's better than nothing." Stiles says and
reaches for a locker door. And climbs right in, out of a moment of panic he ended pulling Blake into the tight space along with him. Their breaths hitched as they realized they were chest to chest.

They stared onto each other's eyes, trying to calm their rapid heart beats as the door to the locker room opened. Blake bit her lip, trying to keep quiet as slow footsteps made there way into the room.

Suddenly the door of the locker Scott was in opened, followed by a scream of surprise making Blake and Stiles scrambled out of their locker to see the janitor. "Son of a bitch!" Scott grabs him, trying to keep the terrified man on his feet, "Quiet-quiet!"

"Quiet, my ass. Are you two trying
to kill me?" Gasping, the Janitor leans against the locker looking like
he's on the verge of a heart attack, "All of you. Get out.

"Just listen for half a second, okay?"

"No, not okay. Get the hell out of here. Right now!" The door slams open into the hallway, and the three of them get pushed out by the furious Janitor. "Just one second to explain-"

"Shut up and go." The Janitor ordered and Blake grabbed onto Stiles as the feeling from before came back. This time at full force.

Suddenly, hand still on the door, the Janitor suddenly whips back into the locker room, swinging the door shut with him. The movement happens so quickly it leaves the three staring in utter confusion at the closed door.

Until the Janitor's face comes slamming back into the window if the door making them all flinch back. They stagger away in shock as the body of the Janitor slams forward again, rattling the door in its frame.

Scott grabs at the door, trying to get it open, trying to help the man as Blake pulls him back, "You can't help him." Blake said, shaking her head. They all finally run for it, racing down the corridor as the locker room door wrenches off its hinges.

Bursting into the corridor and falling to the floor. The Janitor's dead body collapses down onto the door and then in one swift motion- Is dragged back into the darkness of the locker room.

Feet flying across the floor, Blake, Scott and Stiles race for the exit at the end of the hall. They reach the fire door handles at the same time, pushing down and shoving forward. The doors open, but only an inch, clanging against something behind them. Pushing again, they hear the same metallic clang. Something is on the other side, blocking the doors. "What the hell?"

Scott peers out the open inch of the door. "It's a dumpster. A garbage
dumpster." He said making them all sigh.

"He pushed it in front of the doors-"

"-to trap us in."

Stiles turns, backing into the door, trying to push off from his feet and move the dumpster behind it, "Help me." The door clangs against the dumpster again and again as he
keeps trying to muscle it open. "Stiles. Stiles stop." Blake said, grabbing his arm, pulling him away from the door.
'I'm not dying here. I'm especially not dying in school."

"We're not going to die."

'Then what's it doing? What does it want?"

"Me. Derek says it's stronger with a pack."

"Great. A psychotic werewolf who's into teamwork. That's beautiful." Stiles said sarcastically. They retreat from the doors again, looking down the other end of the hall. But their cautious progression comes to a halt when Scott pauses. He turns to the wall of windows at the side of the corridor looking out on the courtyard and opposite side of the school.

On the roof figure crouches in the darkness, red eyes gazing directly at them. The three of the. start moving, running, nearly stumbling over
each other as the alpha bounds from one level of the roof to the next, landing and leaping in the same instant as they race forward. Behind them, glass explodes into the hallway, the Alpha crashing back into the school.

Somehow, though the midst of chaos Blake had ended up separating from Scott and Stiles. When she noticed she was no longer with them she looked around, breathing heavily. It was just her, alone in the hallway. "Oh god." She mumbled.

After a few minutes of mindlessly walking around Blake froze when she saw a huge figure standing at the end of the hall. Her breath hitched as she stared down at the Alpha, who was crouched down on all fours, watching her.

She slowly took a step back but that seemed to do enough to trigger the raging beast at the end of the hall. The alpha started charging it's way towards her making her instantly turn around and run the opposite way. She kept running, never looking back and saw the doors to the pool.

She quickly ran through them only to run into someone else making them both scream. Blake put a hand over her chest, staring at Allison in shock. "Allison?!? Holy shit, I think I had a minor heart attack." Blake said and Allison nodded in agreement. Once Blake caught her breath she looked around alarmed.

"What are you doing here?" Blake asked making Allison look at her concerned, "Scott told me to meet him here, Jackson and Lydia drove me here." Allison answered making Blake's eyes widen. "Lydia and Jackson's here too?" She asked and Allison was about to say something but then her phone rang.

"Stiles?" She asked as she put it on speaker for Blake to hear, "It's me. Where are you?" Scott's voice came through the phone. "In the school looking for you. Why weren't you at my place?" Allison asked.

"Where are you right now?"

"The first floor-"

"Where? Where exactly?

"The swimming pools with Blake."

"Blake's with you!" Stiles's voice came though, sound both terrified and relieved. "Get to the lobby. Go now." Scott said then hung up making Allison look up at Blake. "Come on, let's go." Blake said, grabbing Allison's hand, and they started running to the lobby.

Allison and Blake pushes through a door and into the first floor lobby
to find Scott and Stiles running toward them. "Oh thank god." Stiles said, instantly pulling Blake into him as Scott and Allison talked. "What are you doing? Why'd you come here?"

"Because you asked me to."

"I asked you to?" He said confused and She shows him her phone and the message on it: Meet me at the school - Scott. Then Allison notices their reactions." Why do I get the feeling you didn't send that message?"

"Because I didn't."

"Did you drive here?"

"Jackson did."

"Jackson's here too?"

"And Lydia. What's going on? Who
sent this text-" Allison's phone rings again making her pick up, "Where are you?" She asked and suddenly the doors opened and Lydia and Jackson walked in. "Finally. Can we go now?" Lydia asks but before any of them can speak they hear an odd rumbling above them making Stiles blindly reach for Blake's hand.

"Run." Scott said, He spins, pushing them forward as something bursts out of the ceiling panels behind them. They run until the reached the cafeteria, slamming the door open and running inside.

"Scott, wait--not here--not here." Stiles says as him and Blake looked at the windows but Scott isn't listening. Swinging the doors closed as Scott spins back to search for a way to barricade them in. Allison and Lydia shoots questions at him but he doesn't answer, concentrating his efforts on shoving one of the vending machines forward.

Jackson and Allison get behind it as well, sliding it against the doors. Scott's panic seems to infect them all, heightening the fear among the group.
"Guys, hold on." Even a frightened Lydia helps, pushing chairs forward, moving as fast as she can. "Guys, wait a second. Hello." Stiles continues to try and get their attention but they don't listen making Blake roll her eyes and sigh.

"Hey!" She yelled making them all stop and turn to and Stiles, "Okay, nice work. Beautiful job, everyone. Now what do you think we should do about the twenty foot wall of windows!" Stiles shakes his hands at the field of glass to his right. Scott and the others look up, realizing he was right.

"Can someone please explain what's
going on? I'm freaking out here and
I'd at least like to know why." Allison asked and Scott doesn't respond. Doesn't even look at her. "Someone killed the janitor." Stiles sighed. "What?"

"The janitor's dead."

"What's he talking about? Is this a joke?" Allison asked looking at Scott who shook his head, "Who killed him?" Jackson asked and Lydia shakes her head. "No, no, no. This was supposed to be over. The mountain lion-"

"Don't you get it? That wasn't a
mountain lion."

"Who is it? What does he want?" Allison asked looking back and forth between the three. Stiles looks to Scott for help. But his friend almost seems to be shutting down. Just shaking his head, no idea what to say while Allison and the others become more panicked.
"What's happening? Scott?"

"I don't know-it's just-if we go out there, he's going to kill us."

"Us? Kill us?"

Allison turns to Stiles, pressing him, "Who? Who is it?"

"Derek. It's Derek Hale." Scott suddenly spoke up making Blake whip her head around at him. All eyes turn back to him in shock. Especially Stiles. Scott
looks almost surprised at saying it himself. Blake, though looked like she was ready to break down and also kill Scott herself. "Derek killed the janitor?"

"You're sure?"

"I saw him." Scott answered making Blake shake her head, moving away from Stiles and running her hand through her hair. "The mountain lion-"

"No. Derek killed them."

"All of them?"

"Starting with his own sister." Scott said making Stiles look over to see Blake pacing with clenched fists. He walked over to her, knowing she was close to probably gutting Scott. He gently grabbed her hand, pulling it open and intertwining their fingers to calm her down.

"And the bus driver?"

"And then the guy in the video store. It's been Derek the whole time. He's in here with us. And if we don't get out... he's going to kill us too." Scott said and they all looked at Blake, "Blake, is this true?" Allison asked and Blake just shook her head, leaning her forehead on Stiles shoulder. Scott and Stiles both knew that was her trying to calm down while the rest thought that was her being overwhelmed.

"Call the cops." Jackson said making Stiles and Blake look at him, "No." Stiles said making Jackson look at him crazy.
"What do you mean no?"

"I mean no. Want to hear it in
Spanish? Noh. Derek killed three
people. We don't know what he's
armed with." Stiles said and Jackson scoffed, "Your Dad is armed with an entire Sheriff's Department. Call him."

"I'm calling." Lydia said holding phone up to her ear. "Hold on-Lydia, just wait-" He starts forward, but Jackson shoves him back. "Yes, we're at Beacon Hills High School. We're trapped in here and we need you to..." Lydia pauses. The others watch her expression change to one of surprise. She slowly pulls the phone away from her ear. "She hung up on me." She said slowly turning back to them.

"The police hung up on you?"

"She said they got a tip warning them there would be prank calls about a break in at the high school. She said if I called again they would trace it and have me arrested."

"Then call again."

"They won't trace a cell phone. They'll send a car to your house before they send someone here." Stiles said and everyone sighed, "What the... What is this? Why does Derek want to kill us? Why's he killing anyone? Especially his sisters?" Allison asked and they all look to Scott for the answer. "Why are you looking at me?"

"Is he the one who sent her the text?"

"No-I mean, I don't know."

"Is he the one who called the police?"

"I don't know!" He snaps at her, causing Allison to flinch noticeably. Behind
her, Jackson can't help but smile just a little bit. Stiles gets in between them to pull Scott aside along with Blake. "You. You are so god damn lucky I am not cutting your limbs off one by one. How dare you blame my brother." Blake snapped in a whisper.

"I'm sorry. I-I didn't know what to say. I had to say something. And if he's dead, it doesn't matter. Except if he's not...Oh God, I totally bit her head off." Scott said and Blake rolled her eyes, "And she'll totally get over it. Bigger things to deal with. Like getting out of here alive." Stiles said. "But we are alive. And it could have already killed us. It's like it's cornering us."

"What? Like it wants to eat us all at the same time?"

"No. Derek said it wants revenge."

"Against who?"

"Allison's family?"

"Maybe that's what the text was about. Someone had to send it." Stiles says and Blake squinted her eyes, "

"Okay, assheads! New plan- Stiles calls his useless dad and tells him to send someone with a gun and decent aim. Are we good with that?" Jackson said making Scott sigh, "He's right. Tell him the truth if you have to. Just call him."

"I'm not watching my dad get eaten
alive."

Jackson steps past the others, charging toward Stiles. "That's it. Give me your phone." Jackson says and he spins Stiles around, grabbing for the phone in his pocket. But in a moment of pure instinct, Stiles reels back and punches Jackson, sending him sprawling to the floor. Blake's hand flew up to her mouth to stop herself from laughing.

Cradling his shaking hand, Stiles looks to Scott who is just as surprised. Then he looked over at Blake who looked impressed making a small sense of confidence rush through Stiles. With the hand not trembling in pain, Stiles reaches into his pocket and fishes out his cell phone. As the others watch, as he dials.

"Dad? Hey, it's me... and it's your voicemail. Um... I need you to call me back. Like now. Like right now-" Something slams into the doors of the cafeteria making Lydia scream and Blake reach out and grab Lydia and Allison's arms, pulling them back.

"We're at the school-Dad-we're at the school-" Another bang and a stack of chairs tumble down as the barricade against the doors begins to fall. Stiles lowers the phone, backing away with the others while his hand subconsciously finds Blake's who also holds hands with Lydia.

Something hammers at the doors. Smashing at them, pounding,
desperately trying to break through. The hinges at the top of the doors begin coming out of the wall, metal seeming to bend and collapse inward. "The kitchen. The door out of the kitchen leads to the stairwell." Stiles says.

"Which only goes up."

"Up is better than here." Blake said and with another bang and the decision is made and they run for the kitchen.

The stairwell door slams open. Scott and the others spill out into the second floor hallway. They try doors. All locked. Until Lydia finds an open one and they hurtle into a Chemistry room, quickly and quietly shutting the door. Scott grabs the teacher's chair and fits
it under the knob as they hear the stairwell door slam open.

Everyone backs away to the wall where they can't be seen at the window of the door, each holding their breath.

The sound of claws against the tile floor as the creature coming closer and closer. The door rattles from the
weight of its approach. Lydia covers her mouth with her hands, trying not to shriek as a breath steams the window at the door. And then it moves on, the sound of its lumbering body dissipating making Blake look at the door in confusion. It knew they were there, why didn't it do anything.

After a moment, the kids breathe. But no one moves. Eyes still on the window of the door, Scott whispers, "Jackson, how many people can fit in your car?"

"Five if somebody sits someone's lap."

"Five? I barely fit into the back." "There's six of us here, dumbass." Allison and Blake said at the same time.
"It doesn't matter. There's no getting out without drawing attention." Stiles said and then Scott looked around.

"What about this?" Scott's eyes to the steel door past the teacher's desk. "It leads to the roof. We could go down the fire escape to the parking lot in seconds." Scott said and Stiles shook his head, "That's a dead bolt."

"The Janitor has a key."

"You mean his body has it."

"I can get it. I can find him by scent. By blood." Scott whispered to Stiles and Blake who scoffed, "Gee, that's an incredibly terrible idea. What else you got?" Stiles said sarcastically and Blake nodded in agreement. "I'm getting the key." Scott said turning to the others.
"Are you serious?"

"It's the best plan. Someone has to
get the key if we want to get out
of here."

"You can't go out there unarmed." Allison says and Scott glanced around before grabbing the teacher's pointer from the chalkboard, gripping it like a baseball bat. Blake sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose while everyone looked at Scott like he was both crazy and stupid. "It's better than nothing."

'There's got to be something else-"

"There is." Lydia says and nods to the cabinet full of chemicals that Blake was standing next to. "What? Like throw acid on him?" Stiles asked and Lydia rolled her eyes, "No, like a firebomb. In there is everything you need to make a self-igniting Molotov Cocktail." Lydia said and Blake looked at her proudly for finally showing off how smart she really is.

"Self-igniting..."

"Molotov Cocktail. What? I read it
somewhere." Lydia said shrugging when everyone stared at her, "Well, we don't have the key to that either." Stiles said and Blake sighed before covering her hand with her sweater before slamming it into the glass of the cabinet making it shatter. "That works."

🐺

Blake sighed, sitting down in front of the windows, closing her eyes and leaning her head back against the wall. It had been a few minutes since Scott left and everything that has happened and will happen had started to settle in.

Someone sat down next to her making her open her eyes and look over to see Stiles who smiled softly at her, "You okay?" He asked and she snorted. "You mean with the fact that my brother who is my last family member is going to be fugitive?" She asked and he nodded, "I'm fine." She said closing her eyes again.

"I know you're not." He said and she sighed, "I'm not, but there's more important things then to cry about something." She said, shrugging. He looked at her for a moment before awkwardly putting his arm around her shoulders. She let her head fall onto his shoulders as all she wanted to do right now was sleep. Neither of the two noticed Allison and Lydia looking at their best friend with a smirk.

"I don't get this. I don't get why he's out there, why he left and... I can't... I can't get my hands to stop shaking. My hands-" Allison said after a couple for minutes as she paced. "It's going to be okay." Jackson said making Blake look up to see him grab Allison hands.

She glances to Lydia who seems strangely calm. Almost like she's determined not to be frightened anymore while Jackson leans closer to Allison. "I can't stop shaking."

"It's okay." He puts his hands over hers, their fingers intertwining, trying to keep her calm while his eyes linger over her just a little too long. Blake squinted at him, biting her tongue to stop from making a comment about how he was acting.

"Jackson, you handed me the sulfuric
acid, right? It has to be sulfuric acid. It won't ignite, if it's not." Lydia said as Blake and Stiles slowly stood up. Lydia looks back at him to find him glaring at her. "I gave you exactly what you asked for. Didn't I?" He snapped making Blake glare at him and step forward.

"What the hell is your problem?" She snapped making him look at her, "All night long you haven't given a shit about your girlfriend. Instead you've been more focused on Scott's girlfriend, and comforting her, while being a massive dick your actual girlfriend." Blake said, not being able to hold back on calling him out.

"I don't think you should be talking. Considering it's your brother trying to kill us. Who knows, maybe you're working together and all this was an elaborate plan for you to kill us." Jackson said making her raise her eyebrows and scoff. "Want me to?" She threatened, going to walk over to him but Stiles and Lydia grabbed her arms.

"Okay, how about we calm down and keep the accusation to a minimum. Especially the really exaggerated ones." Stiles said while Blake and Jackson still glared at each other.

Suddenly a massive rang throughout the school, making lockers and door shake. The others turn to hear the echoes of the bizarre sound coming from the school below. All except for Jackson and Blake. Jackson falls to his knees, wincing in pain, crying out in pain.

Allison and Lydia turns to him in shock while Stiles turns to Blake. Her hands over her head, groaning in pain as what felt like a migraine times ten pounds at her skull while a sense of dizziness fell over her making her slightly sway. Stiles waisted no time, wrapping his arms around her waist to keep her standing up as she pressed her head in his chest trying to block out the pain.

After a few second the pain and the dizziness stopped making her slowly lift of her head, "What was that? I didn't think witches were effect by an alpha." Stiles said and she shook her head, "We're usually not. The only person who was ever able to effect me was my sister." She said, she was confused herself.

Allison and Lydia pull Jackson back to his feet, "I'm fine. Seriously, I'm okay." Jackson said, pushing away from them. "Thar didn't sound okay." Allison said and Stiles and Blake looked back over at them. "What's on the back of your neck?" Stiles said reaching over to look making Jackson smack his hand away.
"I said I'm fine."

"It's been there for days and he won't tell me what happened-" Lydia said and Jackson cut her off, "As if you actually care." He snapped making Blake glare at him and step forward, "Don't talk to her like that Jackass." She said and Stiles gently pulled her back. "Can we not argue for half a second here?"

"Where's Scott? He should be back by
now." Allison asked a few seconds later she saw a silhouette at the door, "Scott?" She hurries for the door. Grabbing the knob, she twists but is unable to open it. She looks out, seeing only the back of
Scott's head. "Scott? What are you doing?"

"Where's he going?"

"Scott!" She pounds on the door, yanking at the knob, shouting his
name until finally Lydia's voice cries out over hers. "Stop, stop! Do you hear that? Listen."

The sound of sirens.

🐺

Blake moves past Stilinski, Scott and Stiles to go sit on the steps in front of the school. She let's out a broken sigh as she put her head in her hands. Stilinski looks away from his son and Scott after questioning them to look at Blake before sighing softly.

He walked over to her, the two teenagers following behind. She slowly looked up at the sound of footsteps approaching to see Stilinski making her sigh, knowing what's to come. "I'm going to need you to come down to the station with me." He said and she nodded while Stiles whipped his head around to look at his father alarmed. "Wait why?" He asked and Stilinski glanced at him.

"I need her to give a few statements about Derek and-"

"And figure out which foster home I go to. Which there isn't open ones in Beacon Hills" Blake finished for him making Scott and Stiles look at her with wide eyes. "Foster home? Not in Beacon Hills?" Stiles asked and she nodded, standing up. "Derek was my family I had that could take care of me." She said then gave them a small smile, "I'll take to you guys later." She said in a slight whisper before walking away with Stilinski.

🐺

"I'm pretty sure I can guess but I wanted to ask. Why do you hate the thought of foster care so much?" Stilinski asked looking at Blake who sat in front of him and she shrugged. "There's no open foster homes in town, meaning I would have to move and leave my friends. And I don't know, going to a foster home makes me feel like I'm cheating on my actual family. Even if they're not here anymore." She answered.

He sighed and went to say something but some suddenly ran into the office making them look over to Melissa McCall and a deputy. "Sorry Sheriff. I couldn't stop her, she was very persistent." The deputy said and Stilinski nodded, "It's okay, let her in."
Melissa walked in, closing the door behind her before standing next to Blake, "Melissa, is there a problem?" Stilinski asked and she shook her head.

"No. I just wanted to come to say that I would like to foster Blake." She said making Blake look up at her shocked. Blake had only met Melissa a few times when her and Stiles went over to Scott's house. "What?" Stilinski asked, almost as shocked as Blake.

"I would like to foster Blake. Scott told me about how she has to go into foster care and how there's no open one in town. So, I would like to bring her in." Melissa said and Stilinski sighed, "Melissa, you're not a foster mom." He said and she put couple pieces of paper on his desk.

"I can be. I have two guest rooms, so that's more then enough room for her and I pass all the regulations to be a foster parent. Come on Sheriff, Blake is a sixteen year old girl. No sixteen year old girl wants to get put in some random foster care full of people she doesn't know or trust, especially when the reason she's going to one in the first place is something like this. If I take her in she not only gets to stay in Beacon Hills but she also gets to live with people she knows." Melissa said while gently placing her hand on Blake's shoulder.

Stilinski looked up from the paper and at Blake, "Are you okay with this placement?" He asked and she nodded, "Okay, I'll go get the papers." He said and stood up and walked out of the office.

When he walked out Melissa sat down next to Blake and gently grabbed her hands. "I heard what you told Stilinski before I came in. And I want you to know that I'm not trying to replace your mother. I just want to give you a home where you can feel safe." Melissa said and Blake smiled at her while tears slightly pool in her eyes. "Thank you." She whispered and Melissa smiled and squeezed her hands.
