Jacob's P.O.V
I woke up still at Chresanto's house so why not go home. I was headed for the door when the phone rang. I looked at the caller ID and it said Great Bridge Elementary School. I answered it knowing it was Neveah's school.
Me: hello
Principle: yes may i speak to Neveah August's father please
Me: he's not here but im another guardian of her's
Principle: well thats fine.. Could you please come pick her up school was over an hour ago
Me: yes ma'am
Principle: thank you
Me: no thank you
I hung up and rushed out the locking it on my way out. What the hell is chresanto thinking ! Neveah is his #1 priority what the fuck is he doing so important that he couldn't pick her up. I got in my car trying to call Chresanto. No fucking answer. Now im mad. I drove to Neveah's school heated, But she got happy when she saw me walk inside.
Veah: JAAAAACCCCOOOBBBB !
She ran towards me and i gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek.
Me: im sorry your daddy wasnt here
Veah: im sorry it happens sometimes and then he apologizes.
Me: this happened more than once ?
Veah: yea and one time he sent this tall big man to pick me up
Me: ok lets go home but what you want to eat first ?
Veah: CHIPOTLE !!!! OH MY GOD I LOVE CHIPOTLE !
Me: CHIPOTLE IS MY LIFEE !
We both laughed after imitating the little boy from vine. We hopped in my car and went to Chipotle. I tried calling Chresanto one more time but it went straight to voice mail. He better be ready when he gets back cause im going off on that ass. You know what im not even gone to imma just ask him what he was doing and leave it at that.. Maybe. Once we got out Chipotle we head back to Chresanto's house and he still wasnt there. I sighed and got out with Neveah. I locked the car doors and unlocked the front door walking in. Once we got settled in me and Neveah sat on the floor eating our Chipolte watching Monsters Inc. im a big kid dont judge me ! We laughed and joked as the movie continued playing.
Me: thats why you look like Mike Wasozcky
Veah: you look like his girlfriend !
Me: why i gotta be a girl ?
Veah: why i gotta be a boy ?
Me: Touché
We laughed and once we finished eating i got up and threw it away continuing to watch the movie as we drunk our drinks.

Me and Veah had already watched 2 and a half movies. She's wondering were her dad is and i just told her at work which i dont think is true. We are now watching Austin Powers Gold Member. Its her 2nd favorite movie. After at the end of the movie i looked and saw Neveah sleep. Soon i was sleep to.
Chresanto's P.O.V
I gathered my clothes and put them on panting and out of breath.
Nique: well that was fun
Me: yea i guess you can say that
She smiled and so did i. I looked at the clock and it was 8:00. SHIT !
Me: i gotta go
Nique: were are you going ?
Me: home !
Nique: fine see you tomorow ?
Me: yea
I gave her a kiss and rushed out of her house into my car. Damnit ! I wasnt suppose to stay that long. Jacob's gone be mad as hell at me. Wait ! NEVEAH ! Please lord dont tell me i forgot to pick he rup from school.
Lord: you forgot to pick her up from school
I straight faced myself and went home. Jacob's car was outside. I waked in to see them to sleeping on the floor. Awwwwwe they look so cute and peaceful. I picked Neveah up and put her. In her room turning on the TV and shutting the door. I walked back downstairs and turned off the living room TV and shook Jacob lightly.
Me: Jacob ?
Jacob: what
Me: wake up
He got up and groaned. He wiped his eyes then grabbed his keys.
Me: were you going ?
Jacob: home
Me: what wrong
Jacob: nothing
Me: stop one wording me
Jacob: no
Me: what i do ?
Jacob: WHAT YOU DO ?! You left Neveah at school over an hour late ! And she said you had a man pick her up last time ! Your not being a good parent ! MATTER OF FACT WERE THE FUCK WERE YOU ?
My blood was boiling and racing. I am a good got damn parent and i bust my ass for her !
Me: DONT TELL ME WHAT THE FUCK I AM WORRY ABOUT YOURSELF ! IM A GOOD ASS PRENT TO HER !
Jacob: leaving her at school ? Thats a good parent ? Not answering your phone ? Thats a good parent ? Letting a man pick your DAUGHTER up ? Thats a good fucking parent ? Now where the fuck were you
Me: why do you care so much were not even together !!
Jacob: and your right ! But that doesnt mean i dont care about her ! WHY ARE YOU STALLING MY QUESTION WHERE WERE YOU ?!
Me: ok so what ? You dont care about me
Jacob: i didnt say that.
Me: thats fine cause i can give a fuck about you ! You were just someone to be seen with... You wanna know were i was.. I was with Nique all damn day. im with Nique anyways !
Jacob: ok which car is your favorite ?
Me: the White Benz why
Jacob: just asking
He looked mad and sad at the same time. Sympathy rushed over my body and i didnt want him to go.
Me: J-
Veah: Jacob
She was at the top of the stairs rubbing her eye's. This is not good.
Jacob: y-yes ?
Veah: were are you going
Jacob: i have to leave
Veah: b-but why ?
Jacob: me and your daddy are um not talking for a while ok
Veah: i-i dont want you to go
She broke down crying and Jacob went over and picked her up shh'shing her. He was also crying.
Jacob: i'll come b-back and visit you ok ?
Veah: p-promise ?
Jacob: i promise baby girl
Jacob came over to me and wiped the tear i didnt even know was there.
Jacob: get help
He walked out the door and left. I need anger management is what he's talking about. One minute im happy. The next im mad. I just dont know. I looked over at Veah and she was on the staircase wiping her tears as they flowed.
Me: Veah dont cry
Veah: you ran h-him away !
Me: w-what ?
Veah: Jacob loves you daddy ! But your always with mom ! You guys dont even love me anymore ! Your never here !
She ran upstairs before i could even say anything. I collapsed on the couch with tears flowing down my face staining my cheeks. I'v lost probably lost the only person who cares about me and now my own child hates me. Maybe im not a good parent but i wont stop trying. I just decided to go upstairs and go to sleep with a broken heart and family.
