Hellooowww! Napagkatuwaan lang po. I was browsing Pinterest yesterday when I stumbled upon a picture that made me laugh. I sent it to my significant other and how he laughed too and agreed that I am a bedhog. How tiny me could take up so much blanket and bed space is a puzzle he could never quite solve 😂
So of course I thought of the bibis and how a similar situation would be so funny. FICTION of course 😁

Tugging the blanket, yet again, she grit her teeth and suppressed a groan. She's anything but a bedhog, but this was ridiculous! Scooting back towards the middle of the bed, after teetering on the edge for the past half hour, she was stopped by Richard's outstretched arm and leg. She barely suppressed another groan and turned over to face him, careful not to slip from what little space he had left her and land on the floor...again.
M: Jay.. love, wake up *she whispered*
R: *let out a small sigh but remained fast asleep*
Waking him when he was looking so peaceful was the last thing she wanted to do especially after a long tiring day, but if she didn't get a decent night's sleep soon, she would literally kick him out of bed one of these nights.
M: Love.. *she repeated a little louder and softly nudged his arm*
R: *mumbles incomprehensibly* hmm.. ngorkssthfs..
M: Richard! *she barked, shoving him none too gently*
His eyelids fluttered, then opened. He looked at her sleepily, a goofy smile spreading on his lips as his eyes adjusted to the darkened room and focused on her.
That particular look had warmed her heart ever since the first time she saw him wake up from a nap during a shoot in their early days. Determined not to let his charm distract her this time, she clenched her jaw and gave him a stern look.
M: Richard, I need some space.
R: *His brows wrinkled, right before his eyes went wide, and he bolted upright* Hihiwalayan mo ko?!
He clutched the blanket tighter to him, and she pulled it back roughly.
M: Anuba?! You're taking up all of the bed, of course I need some space!
Taking advantage of his sitting position, she claimed her side of the bed and plopped down on her back, giving the blanket another tug for good measure.
R: *looking confused* Huh??
M: Honestly, how did you manage to sleep in a single bed dati? Di ka lang malikot, sinasaklaw mo pa yung buong kama! And this is already a king size bed! *her tone exasperated*
R: *Frowning, he slid down under the blanket, on his side of the bed* Hindi naman palagi.. *he mumbles*
M: *His side of the bed, she thought and welcomed the warm feeling now enveloping her entire being. Smiling, she turned to look at him and found him staring at the ceiling with a pained expression. She kissed his shoulder and palmed his face towards her drawing his attention* Hey..
R: Lilinawin ko lang.. *he said in an uncertain tone as he met her gaze* we're not breaking up, right? Right? You're not divorcing me, are you?
M: *Turning on her side, she rolled her eyes, chuckled, leaned in close and pecked his lips* Daddy, wala pong divorce dito sa Pilipinas. You can try filing for an annulment my dear husband, but I won't sign. You won't get rid of me that easily. Pero pag naglikot ka pa I'm sending you to the sofa sa baba. Forever ka na dun! *kisses him again*
R: *The tension slipped from his features, as she slipped closer to him, draping an arm over his stomach. Relaxing against him, his wife closed her eyes, as drowsiness quickly took over* Ma.. Mahal.. *he murmured*
M: Mhm.. *she snuggled even closer, sliding a leg over his*
R: You're on my side of the bed.. *he teased and wrapped his arms around and kissing her*
The next day he dragged his beautiful wife who laughingly went with him to Ethan Allen and ordered a specially made to order larger than a King and California King size bed combined to be delivered asap. Him, the king of the house, is not going to be sent to the couch to spend forever in there, not in his own kingdom of Faulkerson! His wife had a wonderful and fun day though at his expense, small price to pay he thinks. Definitely not spending a night in the couch. Not him, No Sir!
