Funny enough, all along akala ko ang taas na ng bakod ko, didn't realize that there's nothing inside the fence anymore. Ayaw na pala nung binabantayan ko. Now it's just a space of hollow nothingness.
M: *still silenty crying*
R: You should go now. Baka hinihintay ka nya. Goodbye Ms. Mendoza, it's been nice knowing you. You'll forgive me if I won't shake your hand anymore, may magagalit na pala. Ingat ka palagi. *turns his back and walks away his cheeks wet with so much tears*
M: *crumples to the ground crying*
R: *locks himself in the room crying, threw his phone on the wall shattering it, sees his jacket that was given to him by M and threw it on the wall, started grabbing anything he could put his hands to and just throwing it to wall, then started punching the table til his knuckles started to bleed* Tangina Bakit, bakit?? Konting panahon lang di mo kinaya? Pinabayaan ba kita?? Bakit?? Tangina! Bakittt?!?! Mahal na mahal kita Maine! Mahal na mahal kita.. *crying so much with anguish* Maine!! Maiiinneee!!!

M: *suddenly waking up from her sleep* uhmm.. huh?
R: *still screaming* Maiineeee! Mahal na mahal kita! Bakit Tangina bakit??? Bakit Maaaineeee!! *his face wet with tears*
M: *suddenly sitting up realizing R is having a nightmare and started shaking him awake* Jay! Jay! Oh my God Jay! Wake up! RJ! *still shaking R*
R: *still dreaming* Maineee.. mahal kita.. *crying*
M: *shaking R harder* Richard please wake up! Richard naman gumising ka! RJ for God's sake wake up!! *started slapping him*
R: *wakes up* Huh? Wha?? Maine?? Maine?? Oh my God! Maine!! *hugs M tightly*
M: Jusko RJ papatayin mo ko sa nerbyos! What happened?? *still being hugged by a crying R very tightly* teka teka di ako makahinga.. too tight Mahal please.. I can't breathe.
R: Oh sorry sorry! *loosens his hold on M* That was a very bad dream! It was a nightmare! God Nicomaine! *hugs M again*
M: Oh.. calm down please Love. Here, *grabs the bottled water from her bedside table* drink this muna. *puts her palm on his chest over his heart* Your heart is racing. Ang lamig mo! Calm down na please Love, yung BP mo. God I think I need to get you to the hospital. I'm getting scared.
R: No I'll be fine. Basta dito ka lang wag kang aalis, wag mo kong iiwan. * hugs M again and kisses her face all over*
M: I'm not going anywhere Mahal. Kalma na please. You're scaring me na eh. Ano ba kasi yun? Bangungot na yan eh! You were screaming my name and crying!
R: Bangungot talaga sya! God what a nightmare! Ayoko ng maulit yun jusko! *rubs his face with both hands*
M: What is it ba? Might help if you talk about it.
R: Payakap muna Mahal ng mahigpit please. *hugs M* It was a very bad nightmare. Horrific! I dreamt na iniwan mo ko. Pinagpalit mo ko sa iba. *starts tearing up again*
M: Oh, oh! What are you talking about? Very bad nightmare nga yan because you know that that will never ever happen!
R: Sobrang bad talaga. We broke up and we're trying to sort it all out, or at least I'm trying to, pero ikaw ayaw mo na. You found someone else, iniwan mo na ko.
M: Mahal, don't you ever for one minute believe that! Don't even think about it! Masamang panaginip, yun lang yun. It will never happen. Hindi talaga yun mangyayari ever kasi, first, look at my hand *holds R's hand to show hers* See what I'm wearing here? these are my wedding rings. You put the first one on me in 2018 when we first got married in private civil rites. The second one was in 2020 when we got married in church in public. So that's twice na that we got married. These rings matches the one on your hand, *touches R's wedding rings* the ones I put on you. Under the law of man and the eyes of God we're husband and wife twice over. *smiles*
R: *smiles back and hugs M again* I love you so much *kisses M*
M: Second, look there at the foot of our bed, see that crib? There sleeps your son Thirdy. May anak na po tayo. *chuckles* and third, *grabs R's hand again* is this *puts R's hand on her 6 month old baby bump* magkaka baby na ulit tayo, may kasunod na po ang panganay natin. *giggles* Harot mo kasi eh kaya ayan nasundan kagad *laughs*
R: Ako lang ba maharot? It takes two to tango Mahal *laughs and rubs M's belly kissing it*
M: So forget about that nightmare Love, that will never happen okay? Kahit kelan di ko magagawang iwan ka. I'd die first before that happens. At sana ganun din sayo, wag mo ko iiwan ha. Wag mo kaming iiwan ng mga anak mo.
R: Ma, mahal na mahal kita. Mahal na mahal ko kayo ng mga anak natin. Mauuna pa din akong mamatay kesa iwanan ko kayo and I don't have any plans of dying soon. Gusto ko pang makitang umabot sa isang dosena mga apo natin kaya kalimutan mo yun. That will never happen too. You're stuck with this handsome face *grins*
M: Hoy mister kelan ka pa naging ggss? *laughs* Kala mo naman sinong gwapo, mas gwapo pa anak ko syo huy! Ikaw one dimple lang, my son has two!
R: Tingnan mo nga naman! what a concidence, yung anak ko din pagka-gwapo! Dalawa din dimples nun! *laughs first then sobers a bit* I love you so much my Nicomaine, so so so much! *kisses M*
M: I love you too my Richard.. *hugs and kisses R back then suddenly feels her baby inside kicking* Naku, may gustong sumali *chuckles and grabs R's hand to put on her baby bump* etong mas maliit mo excited na yata! *felt a really strong kick* aww.. baby slow down please, jusko wag masyadong atat anak ko maaga pa di ka pa pwedeng lumabas dyan.
R: *caresses M's baby bump trying to soothe the baby inside* Uy ang lakas sumipa ah! *bends towards M's bump to speak to the baby* Anak dahan dahan lang ha nasasaktan si Mommy, slow down lang po it's not yet time. Konting tiis pa anak. *kisses M's bump*
M: *still feels the baby kicking and doing somersaults inside* Ay Daddy he knows your voice na ayan ikot ng ikot! He seems happy *smiles at R*
R: And why won't he be happy? He's well loved and very much wanted. Di ba baby ko? Masaya naman talaga yan di ba? *kisses M's bump for the nth time* Have we decided on names na Ma? Let's not give him Richard the Fourth please.
M: Oh bakit ayaw mo na? Maganda naman ang Richard ah.
R: Maganda nga Mahal syempre name ko din yun eh pero tama na yung tatlo na kaming Richard. Susme naman Love, pag sumigaw ka ng Richard, ilan kaming tatakbo sayo? Pati tatay ko kasama dun *laughs*
M: Sobra ka naman pati si Daddy Rich sinama mo pa! *laughs*
R: Kaya nga tama na yung tatlong Richard. How about we named him after Tatay naman? Baka magtampo na tatay mo nyan, second boy na natin baka naman pwede na sya.
M: Sus, si Matti naman sa kanila ni Nanay nakasunod ang pangalan. And I will not name my son Teodoro susmaryosep!
R: How about a derivative then? Theodore? Theo?

M: No Nicos. I've had enough of Nicos. Ewan ko ba dun kay Tatay eh sa playboy model naman kinuha yung pangalan ni ate Niki tapos sinunod pa kami lahat dun. Pumayag naman si Nanay! *shakes her head*
R: *laughs, hugs and kisses M* Hayaan mo na yun Mommy. No Nicos then. Uhmm.. Nim? Nom? Nine?
M: Daddy anuba! We're talking about your child here! Tutulugan na kita eh. *frowns*

M: Kainis ka! *tries pushing R away*

M: Where did you get it?
R: Wala naisip ko lang. Ayaw mo ng Nico eh. Mace combined with Theoden sounds good. And it's after your name padin.
M: The truth Richard, where did you get it?
R: Wala ngaaa.. naisip ko lang.

R: Tsk! Okay! I got it from Star Wars! From Mace Windu. He's one of the strongest Jedi and a member of the Jedi High Council. He was played by Samuel Jackson in the movie. He's a good guy.
M: I knew it. Ayaw pa kasi sabihin eh. Malalaman ko din naman. Gusto pa tatawagin muna sa buong pangalan eh.
R: I hate it when you do that *pouts*
M: *laughs* You hate it when I'm right and have to force the truth out of you. You're lucky I happen to like Mace. Theoden Mace sounds nice. Not too long either. Theoden Mace? How about that? *rubs her tummy, baby did a couple of flips then gave two swift kicks* Oh I think we have a winner!
T: Uy talaga? * holds M's tummy, felt the kicks* ay oo nga! Baby boy you like your name? *another flip and a kick* Yes he does like it! *rubs M's tummy more and kisses it* Ayan, that's settles it. We now have a Theoden Mace.
M: Smart baby we have here Daddy.. *suddenly a small cry came from the crib* Oh no.. ingay kasi natin eh! *struggles to get up from the bed*
R: Ako na Ma *gets up and goes to the crib* Hey Thirdy, why are you awake? Hush my son, don't cry.. bad dream din? picks Thirdy up to bring him to their bed*
Thirdy: Dada.. *puts his head on his Daddy's shoulder and continues to cry*
M: Thirdy.. come here to Mommy *R puts T on the bed beside M* What's wrong baby? *wipes T's tears* Did you have a bad dream? *hugs and kisses T and rubs his back*
T: Mama.. *hiccups*
M: It's alright my love, it's just a dream. Si Daddy din kanina nagkaron ng bad dream. It's not real sweetie. Mommy and Daddy and your guardian angels will always protect you. Go back to sleep na.
R: Gusto ba ng milk? Gagawa ako wait. *goes to the corner of their room where they put T's milk stuff at night*
M: Here you want milk anak? *T grabs the bottle, started sucking and closes his drowsy eyes*
R: Nagutom lang pala eh. *rubs T's back, placing a soft kiss on his head*
M: *patting T's leg that's hitched on top of her baby belly* Like father, like son. Gumising ng madaling araw para lang kumain. Kaya siguro kayo nagkaka-nightmares eh. You should stop raiding the fridge for donuts at midnight my Love.. *softly chuckles*
R: *scratches his head* O ako na naman..
M: Eh anak mo yan eh. Namesake mo din. Pero mas gwapo sa yo ha *grins*
R: *smiles then shakes his head* It's 3am Ma, matulog na nga tayo. Mapupuyat ka na naman. That's not good for you and Theo. Kuya Thirdy is asleep na din ulit, look. *points his lips towards T* wag na natin ibalik sa crib. He looks comfy na. We should start looking for toddler beds for him. He's two years old, getting big na for a baby crib.
M: Yes I know, we have to start getting ready na din for Theo. Kuya Thirdy should get his own bed na. But he could sleep pa din here sometimes ha?
R: Yes Ma of course, wag lang everyday para masanay din sya in his own room.
M: *whispers* Goodnight Kuya Thirdy, sleep tight. Mommy and Daddy loves you *kisses T*
R: *reaches out to M* Goodnight Mahal, thank you for waking me up from that terrible nightmare. I love you so much *kisses M* Goodnight Kuya Thirdy, we love you.. *kisses T's head* Goodnight baby Theo, we love you too.. *kisses M's tummy*
M: Goodnight Love.. wag mo ng isipin yun ha. That won't happen. You and our children are my world and the essence of my life. I love you.. *kisses R*
R: *reaches out to M to kiss her again* I love you more Ma.. *snuggles with their first-born son and unborn baby between them and stares at his beautiful wife's sleeping face and held her hand tightly and managed to whisper in prayer, "Thank you Lord for these precious gifts. I am forever humbled" before succumbing to slumber again*
