One Month Later.
"Your literally glowing. Are you dating someone?" Lily my next door neighbor said stopping me at the lobby of our apartment complex.
"Thank you? Your sweet. How are you?" I said brushing off her question with a smile.
"Im great, I'm actually on my way to a shoot. So I'm having a party tonight at the W hotel you should stop by if your not busy of course." She said taking her phone out and handing me her phone to give her my info.
"Sure, I don't have anything else to do on a Saturday night." I smiled putting my number in and giving her phone back.
She smiled and air kissed and went clicking her heels all the way to the exit.
I headed for the elevator and as I stepped in I heard a chime.

I smiled as I always did at just the sight of his name coming on my screen.
It's been a month since the night in his place in LA and after hours of talking it through and coming to an agreement it was decided that we would keep whatever we had going and make it work while he's in UK for promoting and things.
I never told him about Antonio and the reason that originally led me to him that day, it wasn't anything he could do and I had already showed enough emotion for a while.
I just wanted to be happy.
With him I am, so that's all that mattered as far as he was considered.
Going back to work became easier and Steph made sure every type of precaution was taken to make sure I felt safe at work again, and I did.
Being home alone was the hardest but then lily came around and it became a little more easier. We started hanging out and she would occasionally drag me with her to one of her hot yoga classes to cleanse my chakra whatever that meant.
Rose was still in bliss with John, but we FaceTime everyday or every other day. I'm happy for them honestly, John proudly showcases her all over and they are one of Hollywood's cutest couples. I ship it so hard.
Me and Shawn well, even though rumors started whirling about him being taken by someone, nobody knew who it might be but the video of New Years did eventually get out there but all anyone saw was the back of said persons head. Thank god honestly. But some of his fans have found my page after he left a comment or two under a few photos, but it didn't seem to stick to much, for now.
As I walked down the hall towards my apartment I saw a bouquet of roses by my door. Instantly a smile once again came over my face. I picked the bouquet up and I smelled them as I opened my door to my apartment, once I got inside I set them by the living room to meet with the now dying ones. I switched them over after putting fresh water in and throwing the old ones out.

"Sweetness are you ready to go?" Lily shouted while walking into my apartment.
I ran to the hall while putting my earring on, "Yes, yes I'm ready. Is this okay?" I said twirling around to show my outfit.
Lily began to whistle and she gave it her stamp of approval, making me laugh.
Lily looked like a super model in her sheer like black dress and her hair in a high knot and some bamboo earrings and flawless make up.
We got to the W hotel around 10:30, fashionably late to her own party as she liked to put it. The hotel was huge and she had a whole red carpet with paparazzi and everything. She had me take a few pictures with her there before I went straight into the hotel. She loved that kind of attention, me not too much it gave me high anxiety.
Once she came in behind me she introduced me to so many of her model friends and a bunch on industry people and I couldn't help but feel so out of place.
This is what it must feel like to be around famous people?
" Yvette I want to introduce you to one of my close friends Hailey." Lily said bringing me face to face with none other then Hailey Baldwin- Bieber?
I froze, and she gave me a sweet smile as she introduced herself. She very beautiful in person and that rock on her finger is huge.
"Hi it's nice to finally meet you. Lily has said so much about you." Hailey said as she gave lily a side hug.
"Oh wow really. That's sweet." I said looking over at lily and squinting my eyes with a small smile. "Your outfit is gorgeous by the way." I said turning back to Hailey who began typing away on her phone. She looked up at me and she smiled, "I love yours darling."
This felt so weird for all the wrong reasons, she used to date or mess with Shawn and now I'm dating? Messing around with the same person. I wasn't jealous entirely, I just looked at her and then I started to think, how the hell would he go from a model to a fan? Like how does that work? I could never measure up to her beauty, for Christ sakes she's a model.
Lily and Hailey began holding a conversation about some photo shoot they had or have coming up. I was honestly lost, but I stood there smiling.
I then felt someone tap my shoulder and I turned to find,

"Hey there, fancy running to you here." He said pulling his dark shades to the tip of his nose and looking at me up and down.
"It really is. What are you doing here? Long way from Canada." I said with a slight chuckle.
"I'm a club promote. So I travel a lot. I did the promo for Shawn Mendes party that's why I was in Canada." He said almost sounding like he was boasting again.
The moment he mentions Shawn's name I could literally hear lily and Haileys neck snap.
"You know Shawn Mendes?!" Lily asked grabbing on to my wrist with her mouth open in shock.

Hailey was trying to not seem to interested but I knew her interest was definitely peaked.
"She was a plus three, was it what you called yourself? Her friend dates John Mayer who I'm assuming got them the invite." Ryan said now switching his interest to lily.

"Wait your friend dates John Mayer? And you know Shawn Mendes?! Oh you been holding out on me girl." Lily said playfully slapping my hand.
Hailey looked up and she rolled her eyes at the mention of Shawn and I couldn't help but smirk.

"Yes my best friend is dating John. I don't know Shawn that well, just in passing you can say." I said smiling, I hated lying but honestly I didn't want everyone to know not like this.
"Oh lord the things I would do to that kid." Lily said biting her lip and rolling her eyes.
Hailey didn't say anything but her annoyance was definitely coming out.
Ryan came to my side and put his arm over my shoulder as he looked at lily to try and get her attention.
"Haven't I seen you around too, in Toronto?" Ryan said pointing at Hailey making her shoot her eyes over at him. "Didn't you use to date Shawn?" He said.
"They never dated.. they.. - lily started to say and then Hailey put her hand to her arm to stop her.

"Ryan shouldn't you be going off promoting your brand or whatever the hell you do." Hailey said with way to much attitude making Ryan laugh and he just walked away.
I just stood there looking in shock. Lily turned to Hailey and she went to talk and Hailey stopped her.
"I don't wanna talk about Shawn Mendes. Im married to Justin and this is already annoying." Hailey said putting her hand up.
"I get it. Come on let's go and get some drinks and party." Lily said changing the mood quickly to a much lighter mood and I was thankful.
We headed to the VIP section that lily had reserved for her and few of her model friends.
Drinks were flowing and I was having a good time despite that minor hiccup. Eventually Hailey left and lily started bad mouthing her behind her back and I was shocked.

Ryan crept back in to try and weasel his way into lily pants and lily rejected him of course. He even tried to use him knowing Shawn as a pawn and she laughed him off.
The party was still going and it was well into 3am when I checked my phone. I had three messages from Shawn and two missed FaceTime calls. It was 12pm there so I quickly texted him.

I then went to my Instagram and I posted a photo.
