RECAP: Pepper posted a video of Peter calling Pepper and Tony Mom and Dad during a prank war.

I might be updating less because I am going to spend more time editing my chapters before posting them, but I will not be editing previous chapters. And school starts in 10 days :( Enjoy!

"I'm so sorry Peter. I don't know what I was thinking. I-I y-you called me mom and Tony Dad and then I was really happy so I may or may no have posted it on YouTube. I'm so-" Peter's eyes widened. I called them Mom and Dad? Peter thought, I mean they are my parents. And now the whole world is going to know.
"Mom, it's ok. I mean I'm not going to lie I would rather not have everybody know, but now they do and there's nothing we can do about it. Plus I'm proud that you guys are my parents." Peter says reassuring Pepper. She smiles and gives Peter a hug.
"Pep, it's really fine. We should probably schedule a press conference though." Tony says while rubbing Pepper's back and kissing her cheek, "And I mean someone was bound to find out sometime."
"Wait. What prank did you post?" Peter says suddenly. Tony raises an eyebrow and Pepper's eyes widen.
"Oh No. The last one. You webbed up the room an-" Pepper's voice trailed off and she covered her mouth, and tears glistened in her eyes. "Peter, I'm so sorry." Her voice is quite. Tony wraps and arm around her shoulder. Peter's eyes widen in shock. They can't know.
"Pete, it's alright. You weren't wearing a suit, if anybody questions that part of the video we can just make something up. Like in the lab we made a very, very, strong version of silly string." Tony suggests. Pepper's shoulders relax and Peter snaps back to life.
"Um- yeah we can do that. I mean I highly doubt people would think someone like me is Spider-Man." Peter smiles.
"I'm still really sorry Peter, I didn't-"
"It's ok, people would find out any ways. Plus they have no actual proof that I'm Spider-Man. Especially if we make a cover." Pepper smiles at the younger boy and pulls him in for a hug.
"You are honestly the best son ever." She let's go of Peter and ruffles his hair. Peter smiles, and couldn't love his knew family more. (Pepper and Tony adopted Peter BTW)

"Peter, you'll do great. Just act like you do when you are Spider-Man." Tony tells Peter and puts an arm over his shoulder.
"Yeah Pete, you'll do just fine," Steve says smiling at the kid. After Pepper told Peter about the incident, Tony informed the rest of the Avengers what had happened, and they all decided to stand back stage to support Peter at his first press conference.
"Thanks guys," Peter smiles at his family.
"Alright your on," Happy tells Tony. The two make there way out onto the stage. The crowd of reporters go crazy and start yelling out.
"Hello. I'm Tony Stark (obviously) and this is my son Peter Stark. Pepper Potts and I adopted him 6 months ago after tragedy struck the Parker family." Tony stands behind a podium and Peter stands behind one next to him. The flashes are bright and make Peter's Spidey sense go off, but he does his best to ignore it. Tony points towards a reporter sitting in the third row with blonde hair and blue eyes.
"Rebecca Roberts, Daily Bulge, Mr. Peter Stark, how did you meet Mr. Stark, and what made him decide to adopt you?" Peter takes a deep breath then leans slightly forward to talk into the microphone.
"Well, I-I w-was hired as an I-intern and I guess I caught the attention of Tony Stark, so I soon became his personal intern, that is how I met him," Peter continues with a sad glint in his eye, "about 7 months ago my beloved Aunt died in an apartment fire, having no where else to go Tony offered me a room at the Tower, and then after about a month he decided to adopt me." Tony looks over and Peter and gives him a smile. Tony points at a woman with blondish hair.
"Jennie Mathews (< Wow what are you doing here?), New York Times, Mr. Tony Stark, in all respect, what leads you to believe you would make a good father figure for a minor, after all, you have a history of one night stands, and alcohol abuse. Not to mention you not having the greatest parenting either." Tony tenses and Peter's eyes flare with anger. Peter glances behind the curtains and sees The Avengers staring at the man with hate in there eyes. Tony opens his mouth but to his surprise is cut off by his son,
"With all do respect," Peter spats, "That is the stupids question I have ever heard. My dad is an amazing person, and is one of the most qualified people on this planet to be a father. First of all he gave up alcohol for me ever since I started interning with him, and he is also married and has been for a while now. My dad is not Howard Stark, he is Tony Stark, and a million times better than Howard. It is rude of you to judge him based on who his dad is, and even though Howard may have not been the best dad ever, he was still a pretty amazing person, I mean he created the one and only Captain America. My dad has constantly been there for be when no one else possibly could. My birth parents died in a plan crash, and BOTH my Aunt and my Uncle died in my arms. Every day I blamed myself for my Aunt and Uncle's death, and Tony was there fore me, to reassure me it wasn't my fault, to help me see it wasn't my fault. Every time I wake up from a nightmare at one in the morning my dad is there to help me. He has helped me and protected me in ways that I choose not to explain, and for you to sit here and imply that he is not qualified to be my dad is idiotic. He has the support of Pepper and all of the Avengers, Tony Stark is an outstanding person, he is a brilliant scientist, he is Iron Man, he saved my life and yours multiple times, and he is my Father." Peter held eye contact with the lady who had asked the question. A silence fall across the room and all eyes are on Peter. Peter finally breaks eye contact with her and looks over at his dad, and swears you could see tears in his eyes. Tony hugs Peter and whispers in his ear,
"Thank you," Tony lets go of Peter and smiles out at the reports.
Tony points at a man with a beard. "Christian Mutt, Huffington post, Mr. Peter Stark, what are you interested in and how old are you?" Peter smiles.
"I am 15 years old, I love science, and I like cooking with Bucky," From back stage Peter could hear Bucky bursting out in laughter, Peter chuckles, "I am also on the decathlon team at my school, and I love hanging out with my friend, Ned and the Avengers." Peter informs the crowd. The next person called on asks,
"Mr. Tony Stark, what is it like having a Son."
"It's amazing, and rewarding, especially when he is basically as smart as Bruce and I, and no, I am not being dramatic. Sure it is a lot of pressure to not do something wrong, and always be a good leader, but I wouldn't change anything that has happened for the world, and I know that I have lots of peoples support and so does Peter." Peter blushes slightly, but he knows that nothing his dad said was a lie.
"Mr. Peter Stark, in the video that was released, the material used for a prank looked suspiciously like Spider-Man's webbing, would you be able to explain what it was," Peter takes a deep breath and chuckles slightly.
"Spider-Man is awesome! I would't be worthy to use his webs, Bruce, my dad and I had created this really cool really strong silly string type stuff," Tony laughs, and so do the Avengers. The next person to ask a question is a man with black hair and green eyes,
"Aspen Leger, Selection News (If you understood that reference I love you), You started by having an internship at Stark Industries, but it has been brought to my attention that Internships are only allowed for College students, and you are fifteen." Peter glances over at Tony, not quite sure what to say,
"You are correct, however, one of the people in charge of giving out internships was impressed with Peter's science fair project." The reporter nods his head in thanks and the tension leaves Peter's shoulders.
Towards the end of the conference all of the Avengers walked out onto the stage behind Peter and Tony. As the crowd cheered Peter glanced over at Bucky,
"You have something on your arm Bucky," He looked down at his arm and sure enough their was an I Heart NYC magnet on it with the statue of liberty.
"PETER!" Bucky exclaims removing the magnet. The whole room breaks out into laughter.

For the next month Happy had to walk Peter into school because of all the reporters, but soon enough, they left him alone, well besides when he went somewhere with the Avengers. Nobody had the slightest suspicion that Peter was Spider-Man either.
MJ and Ned, well after Ned got over his initial shock that his best friend was Tony Stark's son and his name was mentioned in front of a room full of reporters and the Avengers, treated Peter the same, of course. And MJ made it clear that Peter Stark was still a loser. That might just be her way of showing Peter that she actually likes him.
Flash on the other hand started avoiding Peter and never bullied him again.
Peter's science teachers always asked Peter questions about Tony, Bruce, and what they where working on. Peter usually told his class some stuff, but couldn't say much because it was 'classified', AKA Spider-Man stuff. Peter did tell Ned though, I mean he is Peter' s 'Guy in the Chair' after all.
Peter's History teacher kept asking questions about Steve and Bucky and if they could ever show up to class one day. Peter just quickly responded with 'they are very busy' even though as he said that they where probably just sitting on the couch watching T.V.
All in all Peter was actually happy that Pepper posted that video, and that everybody knows who his family is.
