Biff and I traveled to Lima together from New Haven. My mom was thrilled to meet us at the airport. "You must be Biff. It's so nice to meet you," my mom grinned. "You too Mrs. Fabray," Biff smiled as he shook my mom's hand. "Quinn has told me so much about you," she smiled as she helped us into her car. "I would hope so. I mean our relationship is very serious," Biff said "I just wanted to come here with Quinn to get to know the real Quinn Fabray." "Well you've come to the right place," my mom smiled as we traveled to our hotel. "I'm going to head to my high school. You can relax here for awhile until I get back," I smiled a bit. "Of course," Biff said as I kissed him quickly before heading back to McKinley High School.

Walking into McKinley I couldn't help but reminisce about my years here. How I was the captain of the cheerios then I joined Glee Club which was the place where I was accepted for being exactly who I was. No one in Glee Club judged me for the fact that I was pregnant. Even when it came out that Puck was the father of my baby people were still cool with me. Glee Club was always the one place where I didn't feel judged. I was saddened that others would not have the chance to come to the choir room and discover who they truly were.

"Quinn Fabray!" Brittany exclaimed as she hugged me tightly. "Oh my Gosh Britt! I haven't seen you in so long. How is MIT?" I asked her smiling a bit. "Kind of stressful," Brittany said. "I can believe that," I smiled a bit. Puck seemed to notice I was there but didn't want to say anything to me. I was glad to see him there, alive and well. I sat next to Sam. "Why aren't you with Brittany?" I asked him. "You didn't hear? We broke up," Sam said. "I didn't. Sam, I'm so sorry," I frowned a bit. "Don't be. We just weren't right for each other," Sam shrugged as Mr. Schue then entered the choir room.

Mr. Schue wrote '100' on the board. "100 lessons," he began saying. "Hey, could I get Finn's plaque when we clear this place out?" Puck asked Mr. Schue. "The plaque stays here. Lillian and Finn belong here at McKinley," Mr. Schue said as he then turned to all of us "It means so much to me that so many of you came back on such short notice to celebrate the past few years to sit in this room one last time and sing. Your assignment is to sing one of the songs we sang in here but reinvented in some way. Way back in the old days when I started the Glee Club I would give an assignment, and then I would- I would give a little demonstration of what I was looking for." We all clapped when Mr. Schue said that especially the new Glee kids. "See, you all cheer now, but just wait till he starts rapping," Santana said. "Okay, no hip-hop today, Santana," Mr. Schue laughed "However, I have asked a very special person to come join me. It seemed appropriate since her contributions helped save the Glee Club or, at least, the auditorium way back when. Please welcome, all the way from Broadway - Miss April Rhodes." April then entered the room "Hey, y'all!" she grinned.

It was nice to have April come back for one last time. She decided to sing for us 'Raise Your Glass' which the New Directions never did. It was actually performed by the Warblers which Blaine pointed out. April just shrugged it off as she began to perform with us backing her up. "So raise your glass if you are wrong in all the right ways, all my underdogs. We will never be, never be anything but loud and nitty gritty dirty little freaks. Won't you come on and come on and raise your glass. Just come on and come on and raise your glass," we sang as we danced around the piano with our champagne glasses. We then fell down on the floor as April and Will sang the bridge. "So raise your glass if you are wrong in all the right ways, all my underdogs," I sang as I walked around pushing Artie in his wheelchair. I then walked up with Brittany and Santana and did our choreography that we had practiced "We will never be, never be anything but loud and nitty gritty dirty little freaks. Won't you come on and come on and raise your glass. Just come on and come on and raise your glass," we all sang as the song ended and we cheered as we then left the classroom.

I began walking down the hall where I ran into Puck. "Hey, Puck," I grinned as I walked up to him. "Hey. So, uh, have you noticed how hot I look in my uniform?" Puck smirked. "It does look a little bit itchy," I joked. "Are you serious?" Puck asked me. "I'm just kidding," I giggled "You look really handsome. It's not just the uniform either. You've got this newfound confidence about you." "So, um, do you know what song you're gonna sing for the Glee Club?" I then asked him. "I'm not sure," Puck said as he began talking to me where I was interrupted by Biff grabbing me in my tickle spot.

"You know that's my tickle spot," I giggled "Hi." "Hi," Biff said as he kissed me "I got bored sitting at the hotel." "Who's this?" Puck asked. "Puck, this is my boyfriend, Biff McIntosh," I said. "Like the apple?" Puck asked. "Yeah. Exactly like it. My family planted the first McIntosh apple orchard in Pennsylvania. So every time you have one of our apples, we get a nickel," Biff said. "This is my very old, dear, dear friend Noah Puckerman," I said introducing Puck to Biff. "Puck. Puckerman. Is that Jewish?" Biff asked. "She never told you about me? How long have you been going out?" Puck asked. "About three months," I said nodding. "Well, you know Quinn doesn't really like to talk about her past which is why I insisted on coming back to see it for myself as boring as you said it might be.

I said, "If you want to know more about my family like mother said she does. I have to really get to know you first."," Biff said. "Wait. You call your mother "Mother"?" Puck said bewildered. "I need to show Biff the auditorium. Thank you so much. It's been great talking to you, Puck," I said as I dragged Biff off. "Yeah, it's good to meet you. And nice uniform. Looks a little itchy though," Biff called back to Puck as we walked off.

"Why are you in such a rush to show me the auditorium? We're here for a week," Biff said. "Oh....I just wanted to show you the place where I really found myself. Singing on the auditorium stage got me through some tough times," I said quickly as Biff seemed to understand that. "Well I love getting to know more about you," Biff smiled as we kissed again. Just then Biff's phone went off again. "If you'll excuse me," he said as he walked off to take the phone call. I sighed of relief after he left. Hiding my past from him while being here was going to be a lot harder than I thought.

"Fabray," Santana called as I turned around. "What do you want Santana?" I asked. Santana snickered "Wow. That's such a warm welcome." "You know what I mean," I said rolling my eyes. "Look Britt's been kind of down. I was wondering if you wanted to reunite the Unholy Trinity for a special Britney Spears number," Santana said. "'Toxic'?" I smiled. "Yeah. I thought it might help Britt get out of her funk," Santana said. "Sounds good to me," I smiled a bit as we changed into our cheerios uniforms as we then went into the choir room to perform 'Toxic'.

"Ah, ah, ah-ah-ah-ah. Ah, ah, ah-ah-ah-ah," I sang with Brittany and Santana. "Baby, can't you see I'm calling. A guy like you should wear a warning, it's dangerous I'm fallin'," I sang pointing to Biff who was distracted texting. "There's no escape I can't wait. I need a hit baby, give me it. You're dangerous I'm lovin' it," Brittany sang "Too high, can't come down losing my head, spinning round and round. Do you feel me now?" I sang with Brittany and Santana. "With a taste of your lips I'm on a ride. You're toxic, I'm slipping," Santana, Brittany, and I sang. "Under," Brittany and Santana sang. "With a taste," I sang. "Of a poison paradise. I'm addicted to you don't you know that you're toxic and I love what you do don't you know that you're toxic," we all sang as the song then went into a breakdown as Brittany and Santana danced together and I leaned against them. "Oh, o-oh, ah-ah-ah. Oh, o-oh, ah-ah-ah," we all sang. "With a taste of your lips," Brittany and I sang. "I'm on a ride," Santana joined us. "You're toxic, I'm slipping," I sang. "Under," Brittany and Santana sang. "With a taste," I sang. "Of a poison paradise. I'm addicted to," Brittany and I sang. "You," we all sang. "Don't you," Brittany and I sang. "Know that you're," we all sang. "Toxic," Brittany and Santana sang. "Intoxicate me now," Brittany and I sang. "Ooh," Santana sang. "With your lovin' now," Brittany and I sang."Ooh," Santana sang. "I think I'm ready now," Brittany and I sang. "I think I'm ready now," I sang. "Ooh," Santana sang. "Intoxicate me now," Brittany and I sang. "Ooh," Santana sang. "With your lovin' now," Brittany and I sang."Ooh," Santana sang. "I think I'm ready now," Brittany and I sang. "Ah-ah-ah-ah," we all sang as we finished the song posing as the other cheered for us.

"That is what I'm talking about, kiddos," April grinned as she turned to Biff "What did you think, Mr. Preppy McDimplebutt?" "Oh, I thought it was, um, very energetic," Biff said awkwardly. "Dude, you were texting the whole time," Mike said making a face. "You know, he's very busy," I said. "He's, um, president of a-of a secret society and also captain of the water polo team." The bell then rang saving me from having to explain things any further. I walked up to Biff and wrapped my arms around him. "Great," he grinned as I smiled back at him as he wrapped an arm around me as we exited.

"I want to take you out to dinner tonight," he told me. "Well there's only one place that's good around here...it's called Breadstix," I said. "I'll put in a reservation," Biff said as he kissed me before walking off. 'So far so good,' I thought to myself. I was glad Biff had been busy during our trip because it made him less likely to ask questions about my past. I knew I just had to get through dinner.

That night Biff and I arrived at Breadstix and were seated at one of the best tables. "I've never really noticed because I haven't spent that much time around them. But poor people are generally less attractive than rich ones," Biff said. "It means so much to me that you came back here. You know, it makes us feel so much more real," I smiled a bit. "Yeah, well, we are very real. I love you, Quinn. And I want to really get to know you," Biff said. "Well, what do you wanna know? I can tell you so many things, like the time that I-" I began speaking. "Oh, no, not you," Biff said as he called Puck, Santana, Mike, and Artie over. "Hey, guys. Come here. Yeah, you- Come on," Biff called as they joined us for dinner. I couldn't help but have the look of fear in my eyes. If any of these guys blurted out any of the secrets of my past I could be in trouble. "Hey, guys," Puck said as he sat right next to me. "Hi. Santana Lopez," Santana said introducing herself to Biff "Word on the street is that you're old money. I'm a lesbian, but I'm totally into that." "Mike Chang, Asian dancer," Mike said introducing himself. "Hi," Biff said. "And I'm Artie Abrams. I may look like a dweeb in a wheelchair but my girlfriend's a cheerleader," Artie said.

"So what about Quinn? How would you describe her in one sentence?" Biff asked. "She's constantly surprising you. Like, one year she showed up to school in the fall and decided she wanted to be a skank,' Mike said. "She dyed her hair pink, decided to smoke," Santana said as I decided to just start laughing hoping Biff wouldn't take what they had to say too seriously. "Well, hold on one second. Smoking? I mean-" Biff said confused "They're-They're messing with you," I smiled as I turned his head to be. "Honey, I forgot my purse in the car and I'd really love my lipstick and some lady things," I whispered to him. "Oh, absolutely. I'll go get it for you, sweetheart. No worries," Biff smiled as he kissed me before leaving to get my things.

"What the hell was that?" Puck asked me. "I am trying to present myself in a particular way. Biff's family is Philadelphia Main Line society and if I get in with that, then my life is set," I said. "Does he know about us? About Beth?" Puck asked narrowing his eyes. "I will tell him everything when I'm ready," I said nervously. "More like the 12th of never," Santana snarked. "Guys, I would really appreciate it if you kept my past a secret okay?" I begged them. "This is such crap," Puck said as he got up. "Puck..." I called after him as he left. "Quinn...you shouldn't be ashamed of who you are. If this guy can't accept your past then maybe he's not right for you," Artie said carefully as he wheeled away. "Guys..." I frowned. "I'm on your side Fabray. I get why you want him to think you're little Miss Perfect," Santana smirked. "I'm with the guys. Quinn, if Biff can't accept you for who you really are he's not worth pretending to be someone that you're not," Mike said as he left as well. I scoffed a bit as I shook my head. Maybe they had a point. Maybe I did need to come clean. I was scared that when I did Biff wouldn't want to be with me anymore. All my life I wanted to get away from my past and not let it define me but what good was not letting it define me when you can't let the person you love know everything about you?

I somehow convinced Biff to spend the day with my mom instead of coming with me to Glee Club practice which turned out to probably be the best thing I could've done. It started off innocent enough with the Diva off of 'Defying Gravity' between Rachel, Mercedes, and Kurt. We were going to vote on it tomorrow. "But before we get to that, Puckerman has asked to do a number," Mr. Schue said. Puck was going to perform which made me nervous. I had no idea what song he could possibly want to perform to remember all the lessons we went through. "Actually, Mr. Schue, I was hoping, for this number, that we could move -" "Hold up. Hold up, Private Puckerman. I'm gonna let you finish, but first, I would like to uphold the tradition of hijacking this Glee Club and making everyone sit through what is basically an intervention," Santana said taking over the floor much to my relief "Mr. Schue, you said that we could redo some of our favorite numbers, right? Well, then I wanna do a dance duet with Brittany. Hit it." Santana then performed 'Valerie' as a duet with Brittany which actually was incredible.

"See? This is who you are. This is what happens when you don't think about it," Santana told Brittany seriously. "Wow. I wouldn't want to follow that number, but if you're still up for it, Puck," Mr. Schue said. "Well, you know what? For my number, I think, uh, we should move to the auditorium," Puck said as we all headed for the auditorium.

Puck took off his jacket and grabbed his guitar. "This song is one that was very special to me," Puck said as he began strumming his guitar as he looked me in the eyes as he began to sing "You're not alone, together we stand. I'll be by your side, you know I'll take your hand. When it gets cold and it feels like the end There's no place to go. You know I won't give in, no I won't give in," Puck sang as it took me back to not only the Glee Club's performance of 'Keep Holding On' but when I was living at the Puckerman's and Puck sang this song to me. "Keep holding on," Puck sang on lead as everyone but me backed him up. "'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through," Puck sang. "Just stay strong," Puck sang with everyone but me. "'Cause you know I'm here for you, I'm here for you," Puck sang. "There's nothing you could say," Puck sang. "Nothing you can say," everyone else repeated. "Nothing you could do," Puck sang. "Nothing you could do," everyone else repeated. "There's no other way when it comes to the truth, So," Puck sang. "Keep holding on 'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through," Puck sang with everyone else. Everyone got up and started to doing the choreography to 'Keep Holding On' that we had done all those years ago as Puck then sang the bridge "Hear me when I say, when I say I believe. Nothing's gonna change, nothing's gonna change destiny. Whatever's meant to be will work out perfectly. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah..." Puck sang as he looked at me. "Keep holding on 'Cause you know we'll make it through, we'll make it through," Puck sang with everyone else as the song ended.

I couldn't help but sob as he finished the song. That song had meant so much to me when the New Directions sang it to me. It was when I had first lost so much, my spot on the cheerios, my reputation, and most of all my popularity. "I guess I can still saw your heart," Puck said as I wiped my eyes. "I loved the song," I said nodding tearfully. "I knew the song would make all the difference," Puck said. I wiped my eyes "Thank you for the song but I have to let go of my past and start looking forward to my future," I said emotionally. "We all love you for who you are," Puck argued "You shouldn't be ashamed of your past." "And I'm in love with Biff," I said emotionally as I got up. "I know you meant well but I think coming back here was a mistake," I said as I got up emotionally as I rushed out of the auditorium.

I was so torn on what to do. My past was something I was so ashamed of. My future was something I wanted to be proud of. I headed back home as I went into my old room and sobbed. I then heard a knock at the door. "Quinnie..are you alright?" my mom asked. "No," I said emotionally as my mom entered the room. "Shh...what's wrong," my mom said holding me in her arms. "I haven't been truthful with Biff," I said emotionally. "I could tell," my mom said as she stroked my hair. "You could?" I asked in shock as my mom nodded. "I was the same way with your father. How do you think our household became so messed up?" my mom said as I wiped my eyes. "I know it's going to be hard but you need to tell Biff everything Quinn. Either he accepts you for who you are or you need to move on to someone who will make you happy," my mom told me seriously. "I thought you wanted better for me than that," I said wiping my eyes. "I wanted you to have a better relationship that I did with your father. When you brought home Biff, the way you've been acting I knew he wasn't right for you. Although I'm not Noah's biggest fan he stayed with you for better or worse. That's what you deserve," my mom told me seriously. "Thanks mom...I think I've made my decision," I smiled a bit as I knew the next day I was going to have to tell Biff the truth no matter what it cost me.

"We need to talk," I said pulling Biff aside. "Okay," Biff said. "I haven't been totally honest with you," I sighed "The stuff my friends were saying at dinner...it was all true. I dyed my hair pink, I smoke cigarettes one year because I felt like I had really lost myself. I had a baby and gave her up for adoption a few years ago and it messed me up." "What what?" Biff said almost annoyed. "I am so sorry," I said emotionally. "Is there a problem?" I heard Puck say. "Puck, go away, okay?" I said quietly "Was she always this big of a liar?" Biff asked Puck. "I'm coming clean now. Doesn't that mean something?" I asked him. "Wha-A baby? What happens if we got married and this kid shows up looking for money? Are you crazy? Was this the loser who knocked you up?" Biff asked pointed towards Puck. "Yes, yes. Puck is the father," I said. "Yeah," Biff said glaring at Puck. "I'm looking for acceptance here, okay?" I said having Biff face me "This is how I love." "That may be how you and your loser friends love but where I come from, you carry your past with you," Biff said as he snarled at me "You are the worst kind of hypocrite. You walk around like you're some Snow frickin' White but you're really just a dirty little slutbag."

His words really hurt me but there was that fight instinct in me that grabbed his nose. "Ow! Ow! Ow! Ow!" he whined "You shouldn't have said that," I snapped. "Let go of my nose! Ow! God, let go!" Biff pleaded as I finally let go "Am I bleeding?" "Not yet," Puck said as he slammed Biff into the bus then punched him. "You're hurting him. Stop," I begged. "Kind of the point," Puck said back to me as he continued to fight with Biff until he knocked him into the garbage can. I rushed over "Help me get him out of here," I pleaded. "Do you have any idea how much better you are than this guy?" Puck said to me as I looked down "Look, you can crawl into the trash and help him out or you can come be with your real friends in the choir room. I'll be waiting." Puck then walked off as I looked at Biff.

"Aren't you going to help me out," Biff said disgusted as I hesitated for a minute before saying "No." "You didn't accept me for who I am so why should I help you out of the trash when that's all you treated me like. Goodbye Biff," I said as I walked off as in my head I imagined myself singing The Rolling Stones' Song 'Play With Fire'.

"Well, you've got your diamonds and you've got your pretty clothes and the chauffeur drives your car. You let everybody know. But don't play with me, 'cause you're playing with fire. Your mother she's an heiress, owns a block in Saint John's Wood and your father'd be there with her if he only could. But don't play with me, 'cause you're playing with fire. Your old man took her diamond's and tiaras by the score. Now she gets her kicks in Stepney not in Knightsbridge anymore. So don't play with me, 'cause you're playing with fire. Now you've got some diamonds and you will have some others but you'd better watch your step, girl or start living with your mother. So don't play with me, 'cause you're playing with fire. So don't play with me, 'cause you're playing with fire, playing with fire, playing with fire," I sang to myself as I met Puck in the choir room after everyone else had left.

"Where's Biff?" he asked. "He's going back to Yale. Alone," I said seriously. "I'm glad you realized that you deserved better than him Quinn," Puck said as he then hesitated "Yeah, I think I'm gonna blow this place too. Unless there's a reason for me to stay 'cause I know who my soulmate is," he said looking me in the eye. "You wouldn't want me. I'm terrible at having a relationship that involves any level of honesty," I said emotionally. "I love you. Just tell me to stay. 'cause the truth is there's only one guy that you were ever really honest with," Puck said as I nodded. He was right. The only guy I really was honest with and opened myself up to was him. He began to leave and I watched him go. 'What am I crazy?' I thought to myself as I rushed after him finally catching up to him. "Stay," I said wrapping my arms around him and kissing him. For the first time in a long time I felt exactly where I belonged.
