Time Jump 3 Months
(Background of last 3 months: Daya went to her appointment and found out that she was a month pregnant. Which means that the last time her and Dave had sex when they broke up was when she conceived. Dave still doesn't know. The only people that know are Chris and Kamiya. Chris is there whenever he doesn't have to be in Cali and Kamiya is just trying to keep her sane. Zen is 4 months pregnant now)
ZEN POV
Now can you please tell me what possessed you to barge in my house at 7 in the morning??
"The real question is do I smell coffee"
Yes you do. But I promise that it's decaf. I just need one cup I'm dying without coffee it's my choice of drug
"You gonna die if I catch you trying to drink coffee again" Kamiya walked over and poured the pot of coffee out

"I love you too. Where is Chris he told me to meet him here"
He texted me and told me he wasn't gonna make it. Even though I'm not sure what he isn't making it too. So why were you guys coming here tho?
"Oh we were gonna take you too buy stuff to start working on the nursery and too get some toys from toys r us. So now I guess it's just me and you prego. But please get rid of this bummy look you have going on"
Ugh today was my lazy day
"This whole week has been your lazy day. Get your ass up!!!"
Fine,Fine stop yelling please. I went upstairs and showered and got dress when I came back down Kamiya was already waiting for me in my car

I rolled my eyes and laughed while getting in the passenger seat. I'm pretty sure I pay you enough to get your own G wagon
"Listen I'm trying to buy a house"

Well stop spending your money on stuff. I made air quotes with my hand. Why exactly are we going shopping for the nursery? I won't even know the gender of the baby until the end of the week
"Fine Just toys then, to ToysRUs we go"
We got there in about 20 mins and within 15 mins the cart was over flowing with toys I even picked some up for Kairi and royalty. I would just have the toys for Kairi sent to Mama East house. I haven't gotten to see them in a while. I've only been able to FaceTime Kairi since she learned how to call me on her iPad. Our last FaceTime broke my heart cause she just kept asking when I was coming home
I was bought out of my thoughts when I felt tugging on my pants leg. I looked down surprised to see a smiling Kairi. I picked her up but instantly got nervous. Who are you here with baby girl?
"Me"
I turned around and his eyes instantly went to my stomach. "What is that" he pointed at my stomach. I honestly thought my shirt was baggy enough to cover it.
I put Kairi down. What are you doing here?
"No what are you doing here? Buying all these toys? Why are your clothes so baggy and why it look like you hiding a mini basketball under your shirt"
"Why you asking her all these questions like you the feds BoBo" Kamiya came outta nowhere "the toys are for my niece and nephew"
"So I don't get an answer to the other questions?"
"Are you the feds? And is she under arrest? No! And we gotta go so bye"
I bent down to Kairi level and gave her a hug and kiss. I'll see you soon Munchkin
"Bye mommy, I still love you"

Kamiya and I checked out and headed back to my place.
BOBO POV
I swear I got to Dave's house in record time. I bust through the doors with Kairi in my arms
"What the fuck!" Dave jumped up
"Daddy"
"I know bad word. I'm sorry baby girl"

"It better be good for you too be busting in my house like you the cops. Where are her toys"
Nigga I'll take her back tomorrow. But anyway while we were there I seen Zen

"Please don't tell me that the reason Kairi doesn't have her toys is because you seen Zen"

Her bump isn't that big yet she can't be no more than 4 months
"So congratulations to her and chris" he shrugged

DAVE POV
I started to think about what BoBo just asked me
"Nigga you don't know when the last time you seen her was?"
Yes I do. The last time I seen her was when she came over here too talk to me
"Don't forget the part where you didn't listen and pushed her down" BoBo glared
Nigga don't remind me of that I still feel bad
"Shut your sensitive ass up, how long ago was that"
About 3 or 4 months ago. I trailed off and stared at BoBo. He was smirking and wiggling his eyebrows at me
"Maybe that's what she wanted to tell you"
Maybe that's why chris said I would regret not listening to her. I grabbed my jacket and put it on
"Nigga where you going"
Where you think I'm going? I'm about to go see if my baby mama happens to be at her store
"Nigga please don't call her that when you see her I Doubt she'll find that shit cute or funny. Plus with all the toys she had I really doubt she's there right now"
Call her store BoBo. Pretend to be chris and ask if she there. I can't call cause she had my number blocked from calling her or the store
"Damn she really don't like you" he laughed
Boy Shutup and call I don't have all day. He picked up the phone and called the store. "Looks like it's your lucky day they said she should be in the store soon"
I grabbed a pair of car keys and ran out the door. When I got to the store it was extremely busy inside
"Hello sir do you need any help today" an overly peppy girl asked
Is zendaya around?
"Oh yeah she rig-"
"She's no where, don't tell him anything"
The peppy girl shrugged and slipped away
Ummm who are you?
"Kamiya And you're dave the asshole right?"
I chuckled. You must be a friend of Zen? Is she here?
"And you must be nothing to Zen and actually I'm her Bestfriend"
Umm yeah I don't care. Is she here?
"Nope"
I heard the familiar sound of Zen laughing and looked on the direction it came from. I thought she wasn't here? I smirked. I brushed past Kamiya and the crowd of people. When I got to Zen she had her back to me. I tapped her shoulder. Can I talk too you?
When she turned around her smile faded and she was holding clothes in front of her so I wasn't really getting a good look at her stomach
"What are you doing here"
I need to talk to you. Is there a place we can talk in private?
"No"
Zen just 2mins and then I'll be on my way
"Fine"
We walked into her office and she turned around and looked at me
"Sooo..."
Zen you can stop trying to hide your stomach I know your pregnant
"Okay and?"
And I know I'm the father. I wanna help and let me be there for you please
"I don't need your help Dave and I don't want it either. I've been doing fine without you"
So you not gonna let me be in my child's life?
"Dave you wouldn't have even known I was pregnant if I didn't run into BoBo today. I tried to let you be apart of everything or do you not remember pushing me to the ground and slamming the door in my face"
She sighed "so no I don't need you and neither does my child"
Zen please. I don't wanna go to court over this
"You gotta do what you gotta do" she said with tears in her eyes
Zen I'm not trying to hurt you but what you're about to do is deadass foul as fuck
"Get out"
Fine but this isn't over.
I walked out of her office and Kamiya was mugging the shit outta me. When I was about to walk out the door she flipped me off. I was walking to my car when I seen chris pull up
Nigga you couldn't just tell me she was pregnant? I asked soon as he got out the car
"Bro she asked me not too and I had to respect that. But now that you know, how did that conversation go "
Not good bro. She doesn't want my help and she doesn't want me in the child's life
"She doesn't mean that shit. Let me talk to her but in the mean time don't give up"
It would be a lot easier if I knew where she live
"You want her to kill me? Look if I give you this address you better not tell her you got it from me"

I walked into Zen office and she was sitting at her desk with her head in her hands
What's wrong with you Zen??
"Nothing I just have a little headache"
No I mean why would you tell Dave he can't be apart of his child life
"Since when are you on his side"
Did you forget about crying to me the first two months of your pregnancy because you wanted your child to know their dad
"Well I changed my mind"
Wait let me get this straight, now that he knows about the baby you don't want him to be a part of anything? That's not fair Zen. You wanna give him a hard time cause you can't stop loving him but that isn't his fault and it's not your fault that he can't stop loving you but remember house it felt when your dad was gone for those couple years of your life? Do you really want your child to feel the same thing?
"Chris he wouldn't even be here if I didn't see BoBo today"
But he is here Zen!! He didn't have to come once BoBo told him. He could've been like oh well fuck it but he didn't and that should count for something!
"Okay just please stop yelling at me" she started crying
Oh god Ma your hormones are killing me. Your overly sensitive ass. I'm sorry okay? I hugged her

I just don't want you too have any regrets
ZEN POV
It was Friday morning and I woke up with a huge smile on my face. I couldn't wait to find out the gender of my baby. Chris was suppose to pick me up but he texted me telling me to take a uber and he would meet me there then afterwards we would go shopping for the nursery
I dressed as comfortable as possible and headed to my appointment. I was sitting in the waiting room waiting for chris when the doctor came out
"Hey Zendaya it's good to see you again"
You too doc. Can we wait just 5 mins for my friend I don't wanna so this without him.
"No problem, let me go get everything ready and I'll be right back"
I felt someone sit down next to me
"So you ready for this?
What are you doing here Dave?
"Chris couldn't make it and I honestly wanted to be here. I wanna do this together cause I love you and I'm going to love this child just as much...if you let me"
"Zendaya are we ready to start?"
I looked over at Dave and he was waiting for my answer. I grabbed his hands and laced our fingers together. Yes we're ready
"Does this mean we're back together?"
Definitely not, but we can work towards that. Now let's go I wanna know what we having. I laid down on the table and the doctor lifted up my shirt
"aye watch your hands doc"
Shutup Dave
"Okay so look at the monitor. There's your baby head . You see the nose. The mouth. Here is one of the arms. You have a fighter in there already got the fist balled up"
"Ayeeee" dave said with a huge smile
The doctor continued "and if you look right here-"
It's a boy. Me and Dave said at the same time. I looked at dave and we both had tears in our eyes. He grabbed my face and kissed me. It caught me off guard at first but I finally gave in and kissed him back
