-about a month later-
You were outside in the pool. The cool water surrounding you. Your peace being undisturbed.
Not anymore
"(Name)!" Your best friends voice yelled
"What?" You opened your eyes as you swam to the edge
"Desmond and Ezio were messing with the Apple and- well you need to come inside now"
You let out a sigh before scrambling out of the pool, not caring about your bikini top and shorts dripping from the water.
"What did you guys do?" You asked watching Ezio hold the glowing Apple
"Me?" Ezio asked "I did nothing, it was Desmond"
"No, it was glowing so I picked it up out of the box" Desmond defended himself
The Apple flickered bright enough for all of you to shield your eyes. When it stopped, the sound of thunder rolled over the house along with the pouring rain.
"Well there goes my swimming time" you said as a knock on the front door made every turn their heads.
"This seems a little too familiar" Ezio pointed out
"I wonder who it is" Edward said aloud
"Please don't be another assassin" you said as you opened the door
You immediately recognize the black and red coat. Water dripped from his dark hair, neatly tied back. Dark brown eyes looking down at you.
"Who is it?" Your bestie peeked over your shoulder and squealed before running back into the living room
"I seem to have gotten myself lost" Shay spoke
Your mouth slowly parted "oh this isnt happening"
"Great news guys it's not an assassin!"
"Its (name)'s LOVER"
You looked away from his eyes before opening the door wider, trying to relax "Actually, you're not lost. You're in America. The year is (year)"
His eye brows raised "what?"
"Yeah, I know it's a lot to take in but-"
"HE IS A TEMPLAR!" you were interrupted by Desmond's yelling and you rolled your eyes
"Yeah so?"
Edward threw his hands up "we can't have him here that's madness!"
I left the door open and signaled for Shay to come in "well Desmond brought him here so if you want to complain tell him"
"(Name), how do you suppose this will work out?" Connor asked, crossing his arms
"Let's just.. send him back Ezio" I stated
"Why?" Edward questioned
"Why?" Desmond mocked "because he's a Templar"
"His story I complicated" you replied
"Hey, I had good reason for what I did" Shay defended
"For killing your brothers?" Connor asked
"Do any of you even know what happened?" You asked
No one said anything, except for (bf/n)
"I do"
"You watched me play" you said with a smirk and looked at Desmond
"I have the game, you should know what happened before you go judging" you pointed at your games on a shelf, glaring at Desmond and Connor
"So" Edward spoke up "is he going or staying?"
"Going!" The other assassins yelled
"STAY!" your bestie yelled
"Dont listen to her" Desmond said
"C'mon let's keep him!"
Shays eyes narrowed "I'm no pet"
"Yeah hes a stray" connor added making Shay huff in anger
You'd noticed his fists balling up.
"Getting upset yet?" Connor pushed further
"I'm not one to test"
"EZIO THE APPLE" you yelled
The Apple glowed in Ezio's hand as he worked to send back Shay. But the Apple flickered before it's light died.
"Cazzo" Ezio cursed
"Bad words" Desmond said in place of Altair
"So hes staying? Connor asked
"This wont end well" Desmond added
You let out a huge groan "Shay, staying here is in your best interests"
"As much as I want to dissagree some weird time crap might happen" Desmond agreed
"Edward he need a room"
The pirate scoffed "what? Why me?"
"Because I asked you to" you told him with a smile "and I said please which obligates you"
He scowled for a brief moment before signaling for Shay to follow him.
As soon as they were out of site you let out a sigh of relief.
"Why isn't the apple working?" You asked Ezio
"I do not know why, it's never done this before" was all he answered
"Well it must be fixed" Connor stated "we cannot have a Templar here, it makes no sense"
"Agreed" Desmond and Ezio both concurred
"Why?" (Bf/n) spoke up "he hasn't done anything"
"Yet" Connor added
"Thats the same thing as me not allowing you guys to stay here because you're assassins" you told them and the boys scowled
"That's not fair" Desmond complained
You shrugged, tired of dealing with the assassins so you headed up to your room for the rest of the day.
