A group of people in yellow quarantine suits barged into the school.
They cleared out a classroom and started setting up little bubble rooms to keep the sick in.
Scott went to go talk to Ms. Martin about what's going on while the rest of us stayed in the classroom.
"Bet they're thinking smallpox." Stiles said while looking at the kids crowding the window.
"Not likely. Smallpox was eradicated worldwide in 1979. We've only managed to completely eradicate two viruses in history. The other was rinderpest. It killed cows." Mr. Simon cut into our conversation.
"So we should be comforted by that, right?" Stiles asked.
"Unless it's something worse." Mr. Simon said nonchalantly.
I started hearing the sounds of people talking on the cop radios.
"Whatever it is, they're taking it pretty seriously. They're a lot of cars and trucks out there." Malia said, trying to get a better look over the kids.
"We're doing the best we can." I heard Stiles's dad say.
"Your dad's with them." I said making Stiles look at me.
"Hey, I should probably call him." He got up, searching through the phones for his.
"Don't bother. They would have shut off any access to all outside communication by now. No cell service, no WiFi. No one starting a panic. Looks like we're all just going to have to wait here and see what happens." Mr. Simon said as he read the newspaper.
This guy is a real pain in the ass.

Malia, Kira, and I waited in line for the quarantine people to take our blood.
I rocked back and forth on my heels, kinda out of it.
"Nikki? You good?" Malia asked but I didn't answer.
It was like I couldn't focus.
"Nicolette Ibrido." The woman called my name.
I walked up to her holding out my arm.
"You feeling all right, Nicolette?" She asked as she cleaned my arm.
I just nodded in response.
"I don't like needles either. I promise, it'll be fast." The woman smiled at me.
She went to stick the needle in my arm when a lightning bolt traveled through the needle shocking her.
She dropped the syringe as it sizzled on the ground.
"Nikki, let's go." Malia said but I didn't move.
I watched as all the quarantine people took the woman outside.
"Nikki, come on." Malia grabbed me, pulling me away.
What the hell just happened?

We met up with Scott and Stiles in the boys locker room.
Scott's eyes were glowing red.
He would try to get them to stop but it would only work for a while.
"It's still happening." Mr. Yukimura told Scott.
"I can't make them go back." Malia held up her hands, her claws were out.
"Obviously the virus is affecting the two of you in a way it won't hit any human being." Mr. Yukimura explained.
"You guys have to stay out of sight. We have to quarantine you from the quarantine." Stiles said.
"Yeah, but where? I mean, what if they get violent? Like on a full moon." Kira asked worried.
"We shouldn't stay in here. Not in the locker room." Scott said.
"A classroom is not going to hold us." Malia said.
"What about the basement?" Kira suggested.
"Too many ways out. We need something secure. Somewhere nobody can find us." Scott said as we all thought of a place.
"The vault." Stiles said.
"The Hale vault. The Hales always have an escape route. Like their house. There has to be another way in." Scott said.
"I know another way in. The perks of being Derek Hale's best friend...he tells me everything." I said, leading everyone to the basement.
Once we got downstairs I headed over to a rack covering the entrance.
I tried pushing the rack out of the way but it wouldn't budge.
It was like I lost my strength.
"What the hell?" I said, giving up.
"Here I got it." Stiles pushed the rack out of the way.
When he moved it he started tipping over but Scott caught him.
Mr. Yukimura checked his arms, revealing the virus lines that every human had in this school.
"It's happening to you too. You're getting sick. You all are." He said.
"I don't feel sick." Kira said, she looked perfectly fine.
"I think it's affecting you differently, neurologically. I found your test answers here in a pile with the others." Mr. Yukimura pulled out her test paper from his pocket.
None of the answers were bubbled in, they were off to the side.
"Alright let's get in before even worse things happen." I said while heading over to the wall.
I stuck my claws in the emblem and twisted it back and forth then pushed it in, opening the vault.
"I thought only Hale's could open the vault?" Kira asked confused.
"Talia considered me one of her own." I answered as we entered the vault.
This is going to be a long day.

I sat on the floor, shivering.
Kira paced back and forth for the millionth time.
Stiles and Malia sat close to each.
And Scott was sitting on a box.
"You cold?" Stiles asked but I didn't answer.
I heard him stand up before the warmth of his sweater covered me.
I looked up from the ground.
"Thanks." I smiled at him.
He walked back over to Malia and sat next to her.
"You know, this is where it all started. That's where the money was. 147 million in bearer bonds." Stiles pointed at the safe.
(A\N: I know it was 117 million but I made Nikki 30 million so I had to change it to 147)
"How do you even change bearer bonds into cash?" Kira asked.
"Bank, I guess. They just let it sit here the whole time collecting dust. You know bearer bonds are basically extinct?" Stiles said.
"Why does it matter?" Kira asked, taking a seat next to Scott.
"You know how many problems that money could solve?" Stiles said.
"For you?" She asked.
"Me. My dad... The Eichen House and MRI bills are crushing him." Stiles said.
"Mom does this thing, she writes down all the items in our budget, and how much they cost, then she adds them all up and figures out how long we have until... We lose the house." Scott said.
I felt bad for the boys.
They deserve so much better than what they've been dealing with.

About an hour went by and I was still freezing.
Scott and Stiles stood by the vault door trying to listen to what was happening.
"Nikki, you're blue." Malia said making me look at my hands.
I had a blue tint to my skin.
Scott ran over to me, grabbing my hand.
"Nikki, your hand are ice cold." He said.
I couldn't feel anything.
"We have to do something." Kira panicked.
"I'll go upstairs and see if I can get ahold of Deaton or someone." Stiles ran towards the door, leaving.
Scott sat next to me, holding me close.
Is this how I'm gonna die?

A long time passed and we all sat in silence.
"Guys." Malia said making us all look at her.
"I can't see." She panicked.
"What do you mean?" Kira asked confused.
"I can't see anything." Malia said.
This can't be good.
Before I knew it they were all blind.

I couldn't move a muscle.
I was frozen in place.
"Hey, Scott? Scotty? In the vault, in there with you. It's called reishi mushrooms. Scott? Scott, open the door! It's in there with you. It's in a jar, it's on one of the shelves. Scott! Scott, can you hear me?" Stiles screamed from the other side of the vault door.
"Reishi... Scott, I saw it. In a jar on one of the shelves." Kira said.
None of us could move, we were all powerless.
I looked up slowly to see the jar of mushrooms on the shelf.
I tried moving but I couldn't.
My body was glued to the floor.
I couldn't help them.
I was so frustrated, I just wanted to scream.
So that's what I did...
I screamed.
The whole building shook causing things to fall...including the mushrooms.
The jar shattered, filling the air with its healing gas.
We all breathed in the fumes immediately getting better.
Scott opened the vault for Stiles to get in.
I stuck my hands in the pockets of Stiles's jacket to warm them up.
I felt something in the left pocket.
I pulled it out to see it was a piece of paper.
I unfolded the paper, seeing it was the deadpool paper but something was different.
