I was getting bored so I decided to join Aiden in the training ground. I wore a black spandex, a black tank top and tied my hair up in a ponytail. After tying up my shoelaces, I started walking towards the ground that was at the backside of the packhouse.
A lot of men and women were training around. My eyes automatically landed on Aiden who was a sight to see in only his training pants and bare upper body, tiny beads of sweat adorning his whole body, training with another pack member.
His eyes connected with mine and he sent a wink my way.
A wink by my mate, Aiden, fighting, bare chested, adorned with sweat.
Guess what happened to my heart? Yep, went into overdrive mode.
I rolled my eyes at him but my body betrayed me. I could sense the heat creeping up my cheeks.
Damn my body.
Damn this blush.
Damn that wink.
Damn that stupid Alpha.
In the blink of an eye Greg came to my side and with a weird gleam in his eyes said, "Welcome Luna to our training. Would you like to join us, in maybe, a one-on-one perhaps?"
"Why would the Luna fight?", said another pack member, John, if I remember correctly.
"Why won't the Luna fight?", came the powerful, authoritative voice of Aiden.
My heart swelled up seeing his support towards me. Well, I was a feminist at heart so it couldn't get any better than my mate supporting me, supporting and encouraging all the females and their various capabilities.
John bowed his head and spoke, "Pardon Alpha. What I simply meant was that we are always there for Luna to protect her and make sure never a situation arises when the Luna has to take part in fight, combat specially.
I smiled seeing the love, care and loyalty of these people.
"I understand your concern, John. But I believe in taking care of myself. Every female is capable to take care of herself and her family. And well, this is my family. And I'm very much capable of fighting my battles on my own.", I spoke with a smile and saw Aiden smiling at me.
John smiled, bowed and took a few steps back, indicating he agreed to what I said.
"Lily, I want you to fight against Haley.", said Aiden and then turned towards me with a smirk. "She's one of the best female fighters of our packs."
I smirked back. "Bring it on". She may be the best, but she could never compare, my Alpha blood and my best of the class training.
Lily came towards me with a smile and then we both started our fight on Alpha's commands.

And with a final, roundabout kick to her stomach, I stepped back, triumphant. It wasn't that she wasn't good, on the contrary, she was an excellent fighter, but I was simply the best.
'You're bragging', I said to my wolf.
'Well, it's not bragging if it's true.', she retorted right back.
Gotta agree with you on this one.
I looked towards Aiden and my heart swelled up even more with pride and giddiness. His eyes held amusement, adoration and pride. He was feeling proud because of me and I couldn't help but do a small mental happy dance because of this giddy feeling.
"Hey Alpha!", I called out. "How about you and me and a fight? Bet I can beat up that ass of yours".
Suddenly loud gasps erupted all around from me.
Aiden spoke, "So, you're challenging the Alpha, Haley? I fight with the ones I want to, no one has ever challenged me before you." His shock turned into a smirk, "I'm on it".
I could hear whispers like "she challenged the Alpha, how brave", or "she challenged the Alpha, how stupid", "no one has ever challenged Aiden before".
Without paying any heed to them, I watched Aiden as he came to me, getting himself ready, stretching his limbs.

Damn, Aiden's good. Too good. He wasn't attacking me, just defending, but even the few times he 'attacked' me, he didn't hit me hard. But his fighting style, his attacks and defences were amazing. If I gotta win this, I'll have to think of some other way.
I aimed a punch at his face with my right hand, which he blocked, simultaneously aiming another punch with my left arm which he blocked with his other.
Quickly, I retracted my right hand and slowly and seductively trailed a finger down his chest from his pecs to his abs. I could feel his muscles twitch under my finger. His eyes closed and a low growl rumbled out of him.
Taking advantage of his this moment of weakness, I tried to punch him again but he caught my arm and turned me around, my back against his chest.
Wrapping one of his arms around my waist, he whispered in my ear, "I loved it, but if you're gonna play dirty, then I'm gonna burry you in that dirt."
Then he turned me around and suddenly his lips were on mine , kissing me with passion, my own lips returning it.
He wrapped his arms even tightly around me, bringing me impossibly closer to himself. I tangled my own in his hair and tugged at them a bit. Aiden let out a moan which led a moan escaping from my lips too.
Before the kiss got too heated, I pulled back, remembering we were in public.
He looked me in the eye and said aloud for everyone to hear, "It'd be fair to say that this match was a draw. Good job, Haley."
Everyone around us started cheering and clapping.
He smirked at me, turned around and went inside, leaving an astonished me behind. Though astonished, yet happy, extremely.

I was doing my homework in my room when there was a knock at my door. I got up and opened my door to find a young girl of twelve. I smiled.
"Hey Luna. Umm.. The Alpha wishes to meet you in his office. And he said it was urgent."
Why does Aiden want to meet me, that too urgently? I hope everything's okay.
Keeping the smile on my face, I thanked her. She smiled back and went away.

I was about to enter Aiden's office when the door opened. I was pulled in and then pushed back against the now closed door.
"Dude, are you trying to give me a heart attack?", I said to Aiden, exasperated.
He smirked and said," You know you look too damn sexy while fighting. And specially the stunt you pulled with me. Which, you should never do again by the way."
And just like that his lips were on mine, kissing me with a burning passion. I couldn't help but return it. It just turned me on so much, that sexy speech in his oh-so-damn-hot voice.
I love the freaking zoo that emanates in my stomach when he kisses me.
His lips left mine which kind of disappointed me but soon I let out a breathy moan as they found my jaw, my cheeks, my neck. He trailed butterfly kisses on my cheek, my jaw, my neck.
My fingers found his hair and threaded through them, forcing him even closer than he already was. He lightly bit my skin near the collarbone leaving me a moaning mess, moaning his name.
I pulled him up and brought his lips back to mine where they united with such a frenzy that it was impossible that till only a few weeks ago we would have killed each other. And here we were tangled in this sizzling desire.
Just then there was a knock on the door.
I pulled back but Aiden connected our lips again, ignoring the knock.
But the resounding knocks were hard to ignore.
With an annoyed grunt Aiden pulled back and then went on to open the door.
What great timing. We open the door to find Dylan behind it.
Aiden scowled at him.
"Aiden. Wrong time, I guess", he said with a wink.
I looked at Aiden to find his hair and clothes in a mess, a hot mess though.
And then I looked down at me to find my clothes in a mess too.
With reddened cheeks, I patted my hair down with my hands and adjusted my clothes.
I looked up and saw Aiden doing the same, with red cheeks as well.
With a deliberate cough and an annoying smirk, that made my blush of embarrassment even more conspicuous, Dylan entered the office.
What is it with guys and their aggravating smirks.

The three of us were sitting at Aiden's meeting table with Dylan sitting beside me and Aiden sitting opposite us.
"Haley had informed me that there is a possibility of an other Alpha in this pack, aside from me, who has the highest chances of being her stalker. I had Dylan further investigate upon this matter", Aiden stated. Then turning towards Dylan, he continued, "What did you discover, Dylan?"
Dylan placed a folder on the table, which I hadn't noticed earlier.
Thinking of what happened earlier brought a blush on my cheeks. I looked at Aiden to find him smirking at me, obviously noticing my blush.
Dylan took out a few papers from the folder.
"I looked up every member of our pack. These are the final three that have the most contingency to be an Alpha as these are people not born in our packs."
He then placed the first sheet in front of us.
"Richard Arthur.
Age-27
He was formally a member of Gray Moon Pack. But he was tortured in his pack so he ran away and came wandering in our lands. We accepted him in our pack. Although we did do a background check on him, still we can't overlook him."
He then placed the second sheet in front of us.
"Julia Banks.
Age-23
Warrior of the Midnight Pack. Captured during war but later accepted in our pack."
"No", I said. "I don't think it was a girl. The kind of power that I felt, I don't think it was emanated from a girl. I'm pretty sure I sensed a male."
"Okay. Then here is the third and final suspect", said Dylan, placing the last sheet forward.
"Gregory Adams
Age-18
He was adopted by Jonah and Susie Adams. A background check wasn't possible for him. They found him abandoned as a baby when they went on a trip. Recognizing him as a werewolf, they decided to adopt him as they were unable to conceive."
