ARJUN'S POV
I came on the driving seat and started driving.
"So, if you had two chits then you must have things for both places" I asked
"Mhm. I decided that whichever you pick, we'll go there and the place which remains, I'll either go sometime and give them or else send it with someone" She said
"You've a lot to love inside you sweetheart" I mumbled kissing her palm and she smiled.
"Nishant bhaiya told me that you visit a good cause place every year on birthday" She said
"And here we are" I told as we reached.
She stepped out and looked at the place and her smile grew wider.
"Wh.. What place is this" She asked
"It's called The two aged Kids." I told
"Come let's go inside" I added and holding her hand went inside.
As I went inside, I saw some kids playing and some older people sitting on benches embracing sunlight.
"Oh My God. Now I understand, two aged kids. Who so ever built this place has amazing thoughts" She chirped
"But how do you know this place" She asked when someone called my name.
"Arjun bhaiya " Her voice came and I turned back
"Naina " I mumbled
"Such a long time" She said opening her arms and I sat on my knees hugging her.
"How are you. How is everyone here" I asked
"Everyone is good. Other then me " She dramatically said and I chuckled
"Drama" A voice mumbled from back and I looked at another person.
"Ronak" I chuckled
"My problem" The little Naina muttered and I looked at the person looking at us in amusement as well as surprise.
But then the little one looked at My Naina.
"Your Naina" She added and Naina looked at us shocked.
"Mhm. My Naina" I whispered
"Finally" She said and hugged Naina while Naina looked at me shocked.
"You must not know me. But we know you. You're Naina didi. Arjun bhaiya talks a lot about you whenever he comes" The little Naina spoke and Naina smiled at her.
"Arjun never told me about you, but I'm glad he made me meet you. You're such a sweetheart" Naina said and the little Naina looked at me with a goofy smile when I denied but she giggled
"Just like you're Arjun's bhaiya's sweetheart" She grinned and Naina looked at her then blushed.
"Where's Sadhana aunty? " I asked
"She is in kitchen making her tea" Ronak answered and I nodded
"Don't fight you both. Go and play" I said and they nodded running while I stood up looking at Naina.
"How do you know them so well" She asked and I sighed holding her hand.
"Sadhana aunty makes amazing pasta. You wanna eat" I asked and she nodded when I took her inside and she looked at the Hall.
And her eyes fell on one specific photo.
"Your Grandfather" She whispered and then looked at me shocked.
"It's yours" She added and I nodded.
"It's been an year Singhania. You never told me about this" She asked
"Daadi says, neki ka kaam karo na, to aise karo ki ek haath se karo or dusre ko bhi maalum na pade (if doing something for good cause, do it in such a way that if it's done by your one hand then other hand should not know it). No one knows about this other then daadi. Not even my family. You're the first one after her" I said and she kissed my forehead.
"I'm so proud of you Singhania" She whispered
"Pasta" I asked and she chuckled nodding.
I took her to kitchen.
"Sadhana aunty" I spoke and she turned
"Arjun" She smiled happily
"Happy Birthday" She added and I smiled
"Thankyou" I said
"Oh my God. Naina" She grinned and hugged Naina.
"You too know me" She mumbled
"Three of us know you" She winked
"Aunty pasta" I said and she nodded
"I'll show her around" I added and taking Naina's hand went out.
"The land has this one big house. And it has 50 rooms. Kids have their own playing areas. And the older people have their own garden. The place from where we entered was common ground. And you saw the kitchen already. The kids here go to Singhania's school and well yeah that's it" I said
"That's it? It is so much Arjun. I just, I can't tell you how proud I'm. Now tell me do you come here every year on birthday" She asked
"Not necessarily birthday. I come here.. Whenever I wish to" I shrugged when we heard some honks.
"What's it" Naina asked as she saw some big vans coming inside.
"Am..it's today's lunch. On birthday of anyone in the family or anniversaries or any festival, the food comes from hotel" I told and she beamed with happiness.
"I love to see this pride in your eyes for me" I said kissing her forehead.
"Ehm" Someone coughed from behind and we turned to look at little Naina again.
"Hey Naina " Naina smiled
"Well, we both sorted" Little Naina said pointing Ronak and I chuckled.
"I'll be back with pasta" I told and went to kitchen.
"How's everything here aunty" I asked
"Everything is good Arjun. Everyone is happy" She said
"Naina knows about pasta? " She asked and I smiled denying.
"She's beautiful Arjun. She's sweet. Perfect for you" She added and I smiled again.
"Is Naina okay? " I asked
"She's progressing" Aunty told
"What did doctors say" I asked
"She's weak but as she's safe now. She'll heal" She told smiling
"Fourteen years back Arjun. You gave me this one day kid in my arms. And when I asked you will she be okay. All you said was, Name her Naina. She'll not only survive but she'll spread smiles. She's a fighter born with a brave smile " Sadhana aunty said and I looked from the window of the kitchen to see both Naina's.
"Call it destiny aunty. Fourteen years back, I myself didn't know, this is where God was placing me" I whispered and aunty smiled tapping my shoulder.
"God knows best" She smiled and I nodded.
"Pasta" She added handing me that and I smiled going out.
As I went there, I saw Naina looking at me.
And as she saw me, she wiped her tears and hugged me tightly.

NAINA'S POV
"So Naina, tell me what more Arjun has said about me" I asked and Naina giggled
"He loves you" She shrugged and I chuckled
"Oh that he does" I smiled when she saw Ronak.
"He's my best friend" Naina said and I smiled
"That's sweet. So why did you both fight" I asked
"She didn't take her medicines" Ronak scowled
"Medicines" I asked confused
"Before he scolds me again, I'll go and take my medicine. " Naina smiled and went inside.
"Ronak, medicines? " I asked as he sat near me.
"Naina has some medicines prescribed" He told
"Her and my name is same. It's an amazing coincidence you know" I added when he looked at me.
"It isn't a coincidence Naina di" He mumbled and I looked at him.
"What" I asked
"Don't tell Arjun bhaiya, I told you this" He said and I nodded
"What" I asked
"Arjun bhaiya bought Naina when she was one day old. She was admitted in his charitable hospital. " He told
"One day old. How old is she? " I asked
"Fourteen" He answered
"This home is that old" I asked surprised
"It started that year. With Sadhana aunty, his husband, me and our new member, Naina" He told
"Hospital? " I asked
"She had cancer. No family. So Arjun bhaiya came with her here. He was of somewhat my age that time. And Sadhana aunty tells us that it was his pocket money which he saved and rented this two BHK which is now you see this big. That night when Arjun bhaiya bought one day old baby here, Aunty asked that how was she going to survive but Arjun bhaiya told just one thing" He said and I looked at him.
"What? " I whispered
"Name her Naina. She'll survive and bring smiles on faces" He told and I looked at him shocked.
"Ronak.. How old she's? " I asked again
"Fourteen" He replied
"Do you know when she came here" I questioned
"How can I forget it Naina di. It was Diwali night" He told and I gasped.
It's such a long time after which our whole families are meeting. Don't know when was the last diwali kids accompained us.
Fourteen years back!!
She's named.. After.. Me!!
And a tear left my eye!
Before anyone could speak, I saw a faint figure coming towards us.
And I looked at that man, and stood up wiping my tears and as he came in front, I hugged him.
"Naina.. " He whispered when I looked at him.
"Ronak what happened" He asked concerned
"I.. Will go and see Naina" He mumbled and ran away from there.
"You moron. How much more you're hiding" I asked a bit angry.
"Naina.. What.. Damn. Ronak" He just spoke words and I nodded.
"She's Naina.. " I whispered and he sighed
"I'll tell you. But eat pasta first" He said when I glared him but as the smell reached me I again looked at him shocked.
"The pasta you bring me once every month" I gasped
"It's from here" I added
"Do you want me to have a cardiac arrest on your birthday" I asked when he wiped my tears and stuffed a fork full of pasta in my mouth.
"This Diwali, it wasn't a coincidence when you said fourteen years back" I asked and he denied
"Naina is named after me" I added and he nodded
"Why! How" I asked as he fed me more pasta.
"Before this Diwali, all of our families met fourteen years back. That day, I saw a fourteen year old girl, walking finding something. I asked her that what has she lost, and that was the first time, I observed her . Her frown when she told that she lost her diamond earring and she would be scolded if she didn't find that. And unknowingly to myself, I was searching for that. When I found that earring and handed her the same, she smiled. Smiled real wide. Such that I found myself smiling back. And then thanking me she ran outside. But as I followed her, I saw her smiling to everyone and everyone near me smiled seeing her. I didn't even know how was she able to make everyone smile. I even got to know that she had undergone a surgery fifteen days before. But looking at her face, no one would even say that she was so ill. She was like the music of sun that radiated rays to the tiniest corner of room. Which made me even forget that, I had disqualified in tennis and I was so unhappy on Diwali. She, became reason of my smile. She, is you Naina" He narrated and I felt my palm on my mouth as a sob left my mouth.
"And as smile crept on my face seeing you, I had this sudden urge to embrace you. But, you were the kid of my parent's friend and I was afraid to hurt you since you've had operation recently. But I saw you, till I was there. I saw every movement of yours. The way you lit crackers. The way you were annoyed by your heels. The way you were eating Kaju katli . I think, I fell in love with you right there Naina Rathi. But, I was too small to know that I loved you. And then life moved ahead. As I grew older, the memories fainted but of course not you. But as everyone says, life keeps going. My life kept going with certain events happening. Things happened such a way that my faith vanished from certain ideologies. But what still remained was a faint image of a girl, holding her skirt up with one hand, removing heels while scrunching her nose and eating Kaju katli" He said with a smile and I chuckled wiping my tears.
"That night I got call from hospital. That a girl has been admitted. She's an year old and has been detected with cancer. She was too small and weak for any surgeries. Doctors told that she could be operated when she'll be five. So I took her to Sadhana aunty. And when she asked will she survive? All I said was, Name her Naina. She'll not only survive but she'll spread smiles. She's a fighter born with a brave smile" He expressed and I blinked my eyes to let the tears flow.
"You knew about my operation" I asked
"I didn't lie when I said we were family friends" He said feeding me some more pasta and I nodded
"Arjun... What more you're hiding" I asked when he smiled kissing my forehead.
"You'll not beat me up" He said
"Speak shit head" I asked
"The day when we met at your college, I deliberately met you in Dean's cabin, because I didn't want to let you go, that smile go actually. Because that smile..." He was saying but he hesitated
"I won't judge. Promise" I whispered and he looked at me.
"In these years of hardships Naina, there were times, when I couldn't smile.. For my family too. But anyhow that fourteen year old Naina, her image made me smile somehow, Anyhow. And nothing changed in another fourteen years because she was able to make me smile after fourteen years too in that cabin. I couldn't have let go off that reason away from me. Call me selfish, but I couldn't. I knew there was no other way to keep you in my life but I was happiest, on cloud nine when you called me your best friend. Trust me!! Being your best friend was also such an achievement for me" He expressed when I smiled and kissed his forehead.
"And what about now" I asked and he looked at me.
"I'm already in a heaven known as You" He whispered and I hugged him tightly.
"Arjun Singhania, how much more is inside you that's going to make me love you some more every single day." I asked
"Whatever it is, I promise, it's only yours" He professed and I smiled kissing his cheek.
"Naina is okay now? " I asked
"Just on meds. She'll be very fine soon" He assured
"You're not angry on me for not telling all this right" He hesitantly asked
"I never knew that my boyfriend secretly admired me for fourteen years. I should be a little angry" I fake huffed
"You were destined to be mine Naina Rathi. That is why we both didn't fit with anyone else. We've been in relationships but none worked. Because it was always you for me. And me for you.Unknowingly to us, we were made for each other. That is why, someone who couldn't even bear relationship is today happily bearing this panda" He said and I looked at him
"You didn't call me a panda" I warned
"I called happily too but you see, you heard just panda" He mocked
"Ugh. I hate you" I whined
"But I love you" He said and I looked at him.
"3000" I whispered and he smiled pulling me into a hug kissing my hairs.
"The pasta was so yummy" I mumbled and he hummed.
How couldn't I love this person, who fed me all the pasta knowing that till we talk, it'll get cold, so even while talking, he didn't forget to feed me the pasta.
"I'm safe now I guess" A voice came and we looked at Ronak and Naina.
"He told you right" The little Naina asked and I chuckled holding her kissing her cheek.
"My brave Naina. And trust me, you're going to spread so much love and smile sweetheart" I said and she smiled
"Just like you" She replied
"More then me. " I told
"Then, I'll also get my Arjun" She asked curiously and Arjun and me looked at each other but our eyes fell on Ronak who scowled.
"You sure will. Just wait for the right person Naina. Someone, who'll be your best friend, someone who will love you more then anyone else in this world" I said and she looked at Ronak for a second but then giggled.
"And before that, get independent. Achieve heights. Okay" I added and she smiled
"Arjun... Naina come on here" Sadhana aunt's voice came and we looked at an aged woman.
"Veena aunty." Arjun told and held my hand.
We went to her and talked when Arjun told me that she baked amazing cakes.
"She baked a fresh cake when you came" Sadhana aunty told and I smiled.
She was an old lady, somewhat of actually Daadi's age but the way she was happy to bake for Arjun, was a sight to see.
"Come then, let's cut the cake" I announced while Arjun Singhania as usual gave that small milli second smile.
We sang song for Arjun and Arjun cut the cake.
He fed me the cake and then Naina and everyone. I till then went to the car and took out some things.
"Okay Arjun... Pick one" I asked as I came and he raised his brow.
