ARJUN'S POV
I knocked on her door slowly but I know the sleeping ass was so deep into sleep.
Hence I called her.
And after the second call she mumbled.
"I'll sue you Arjun" She said in her sleepy voice.
"Open the door first" I replied
"Which door" She asked but then she cursed herself, surely realizing where she was.
In a minute the door opened and I looked at her.
Aashi's clothes were little loose on her.
Though I like her in loose clothes which make her look... Cute!
"Good morning" She mumbled yawning
"Morning sleepy head" I said as I entered inside the room and closed the door.
"Isn't anyone awake? " She asked when I denied.
"Mom will be waking up after half an hour" I said
"Oh okay. So why are you here. This isn't even your waking time" She again asked as she went inside washroom and took a new brush from stand and started brushing.
"I just... Couldn't sleep" I honestly told and she stopped brushing and looked at me.
For a second she didn't say anything but then did her brush.
After minutes she washed her face and wiping it she came outside and looked at me.
"What happened? " She asked
"Couldn't sleep in the room knowing that you're in this home yet I couldn't hug you to sleep" I said and she looked at me.
"Did you brush? " She asked and I looked at her confusingly yet nodded.
And in no time, she kissed me.
I was taken a bit aback but then I pulled her into my lap and kissed her back.
"You'll be death of me one day Naina Rathi" I whispered kissing her forehead and she shifted herself back.
"Go before aunty wakes up" She said and I sighed standing up.
"Are you pushing me away" I asked when she looked at me and then smirked
"No! I'm just you know... " she said and then literally pushed me away such that I fell of the bed.
"Ow. Mad woman" I groaned and she laughed.
"Go away Duggu" She mocked
I stood up and looked at her.
"Watch your back today Naina Rathi. The revenge will be taken" I smirked and she looked at me while I smirked more kissing her cheek and left her room.
After that I went to my room and since sleep was no where to come, I took my Mac book and sat in the balcony completing some work.
It was 6:30 am in morning and when I went downstairs, I saw mom, chachi, daadi and everyone too awake and working.
My eyes searched for that one person when I heard her voice.
"Check every table. I want all the envelopes on this table and I don't want even a single guest to miss it. Do you understand. What are these doing on the back side of table idiot" She yelled and I looked at her as entered inside.
Not only me, everyone was looking at her.
"Never saw this side of Naina" Mom chuckled
"Oh, um.. They're sometimes...dork" She said and everyone laughed while I sighed.
And this woman tells me to chill while doing my business!
"Relax a little. Everything looks beautiful. Have this chai" Mom said coming towards her and handed her cup of chai while she smiled widely at her.
Well, you can give Naina a ginger chai , and she'll do anything for you!!
"I'll aunty. Thankyou." She said keeping the cup on the table and then looked at me.
Daadi smiled at her and went towards temple while mom and chachi went to kitchen.
And before she could knew, I went towards her and picked her cup of tea.
"What? " She asked
"Nothing" I said and was about to take a sip from it when she yelled.
"That's mine" She whined loudly.
"Now, it's mine" I replied
"What! Go and have your black bitter coffee. It's my tea. Give that to me" She rebelled
"Make another one" I shrugged
"My mind won't work without tea now Arjun. And that's mine. Aunty made this for me. " She whined again
"Okay take it" I said and she forwarded her hand when I whispered.
"Firstly kiss me the same way you did in morning" I whispered and she looked at me shocked as her cheeks flushed.
"Are you out of your mind. Everyone's here Arjun. Give me my chai" She snapped when I smirked.
"You won't kiss me? " I asked
"Don't piss me off Singhania" She snapped and I was totally enjoying it.
And I took a sip from it.
I looked at her face as she was angry and glared me.
"I hate you" She yelled
And well, this yelling was such loud that even mom and people present there came.
"Naina, what happened" Daadi asked
"He took my tea. Vrinda aunty made it for me. He doesn't even like tea. Yet look at him" She whined more
"Such a drama Queen" I mocked when mom glared me.
"You drink coffee in morning. Your coffee is ready. Drink that" Mom scolded
"Give that coffee to her. I don't mind" I smirked
"Your coffee. That bitter poison. Oh no thanks." She mocked and everyone chuckled
"Leave him Naina. And Arjun, stop pulling her leg in morning. She's working since she woke up. " Chachi too scolded
"I'll make you another one" Mom said and she sighed
"It's okay Aunty. You all have lot of work. I'll make it myself don't worry" She told and I looked at her.
"Fine. Take this short cake" I said handing her the cup when she glared me and took the cup away.
"How do you all even tolerate this pig" She asked and everyone again chuckled while she sat on the sofa and had her tea.
Everyone again got busy in their works but I looked at mom to find her looking at me.
"Am...I'll get ready" I said and went to my room before she could speak anything.
After this I went downstairs only when Ruh called telling that the pooja was going to start.
As I went downstairs, I saw everyone but her.
The guests were already coming and I was seeing how the faces were looking at the decorations.
Proud of you my girl!
"Again black Arjun. In pooja too" Mom scolded
"I'm not the one sitting in pooja mom. It's Nishant. " I said
"But still... Look everyone here looks colorful other then you" She huffed
"Because everyone here looks joker" I mocked and she glared me.
"Do I look joker to you Arjun" She asked
"Maa! I was kidding. But look at people. Like really the women mostly. It's not their function yet they're here with donned makeup and these heavy dresses" I said
"Because they like to get ready" She replied and sighed going away.
"Bhai" Ruh's voice came and I went outside when I saw the decorations properly.
Are they starting from main gate!!
I couldn't hold the surprise as I went till the garden area and saw that exactly from where the garden ended, there were large bunches of balloons in semi circles till the door of the mansion.
And the living room was no less with lots and lots of balloons and foil balloons of heart shaped.
The back side of the mansion where there was one more garden was made the lunch area and that was made exactly keeping the kid in mind.
Don't let the child inside you die!
This quote was hanging in big bold letters from a lilac colored inflatable jumping bed decorated again with balloons. The whole ceiling too had these same balloons and hanging ribbons.
The chairs I saw weren't the big ones they were small yet comfortable and the long tables were filled with lots of desserts right now of course including fresh flower jars on the whole rows.
DECORATIONS
I was...utterly feeling like this was some magic when I smiled as I felt a presence behind me.
Without turning I spoke.
"Your Crafting dreams is raising the bars I guess" I said
"Ugh! How do you always, always know that it's me" She asked and I turned.
And, man.. I was whipped!
She was wearing a simple yet beautiful dark pink colored kurta suit with heavy hanging earrings.
That's it!
And that that's it was way more beautiful then everything else.
"You look beautiful" I whispered and she smiled as she blushed.
"You either don't look bad" She replied and I looked at her when we heard a voice.
"Oh God. Black is just Arjun's color. He looks so handsome" Someone said from don't know where but I smirked looking at Naina who frowned.
"The proof of I either don't look bad" I mocked and she huffed.
"I was angry on you" She muttered and turned leaving from there.
I too went to the place where pooja was taking place.
The ceremony lasted for an hour after which the name was to be decided.
The letter for the name was A.
"Anshul, Ayush, Atharva... " Many names were suggested when I looked at Naina thinking something.
I looked at her raised my brow and then nudged Ruhaan.
He took the gesture and nodded.
"Naina di.. Any name" He asked
"Yes Naina. You say" Aashi too spoke.
"Am... How about Ahaan? The first ray of light" She said and everyone looked at her.
"Come here" Aashi spoke and she looked at her and then went towards her.
"Say the name in baby's ear" She added and a small smile came and my lips while Naina grinned nodding.
She spoke the name in baby's ear & everyone clapped.
After this Aashi and Nishant were taken to the garden area and Aashi's face said it all.
The cake was cut and then after breakfast some more rituals were performed.
After this all, it was 12 pm and the lunch was served.
"You know what, you made this such an amazing day" Chachi said to Naina
'Come on Aunty. It's Aashi bhabhi. She's already my favorite" Naina replied cooing the baby.
"Naina di. Has Ahaan become your favorite now" Nishi asked frowning
"What. Not at all sweet heart. You'll be my most most favorite" She replied kissing Nishi's cheek and I felt jealous of even Nishi now.
Grow up man!!
"Grow up man" Nishant said the same from behind reading my exact thought and I huffed.
"And what about Arjun chachu" Nishi asked and Naina looked at her shocked while I smirked.
She then looked at me and narrowed her eyes at me.
"I hate him as much as I hate black coffee" She replied and both Ruhaan & Nishant chuckled while I raised my brow at her.
"Okay guys. Now I'm hungry. And to be honest, I've controlled myself badly after seeing all the desserts and some of my favorite mithai" She said and hence we all went to the dining area of mansion.
As usual we all served food to each other when mom spoke.
"You all kids carry on eating. We'll just see the guests. They're leaving" Mom said and everyone nodded as all the elders left.
"Arjun, pass me the muffins" Naina spoke and I looked at her.
"Take it yourself" I replied and she glared but didn't say anything.
She bent a little taking the muffin tray but I pushed it away from her.
"Argh! Arjun freaking Singhania. Don't mess with me when I'm hungry" She warned and everyone chuckled while I smirked.
"You're just hungry for sweets. You won't even take a morsel of food and that's not good for health. So eat lunch first and then have as much sweets as you want" I said
"I don't want to. You can't decide that for me" She whined
"Arjun, stop pulling her leg man. Come on. " Nishant said and I looked at her with a playful smile but when I saw her frowning at me I took a plate and placed all variety of desserts and sweets and slid that in front of her.
Though she didn't say anything but started eating them and when I saw her looking at me, I pushed my plate which had biryani in it in front of her.
"What am I going to do of you" I muttered but I guess it was loud enough for everyone to hear.
"Whatever you like bhaiya. Just not here
We've kids here" Ruhaan smirked and I glared him to shut up.
"I'm full" Naina said and stood up taking our plates even though she was denied to do so by Aashi.
Our parents and daadi too came bidding the guests and sat for their lunch while Naina served them.
The thing which Naina likes most about my home is this.
Even after having so many workers, the food is always cooked by the people of home and served too by them.
"So Naina. Wanna stay or join us" Her mom asked
"Am, I'm actually really sleepy. So do one thing, when you all leave, call me" She said and her mom nodded.
"Naina. Don't sleep on ground floor. Our voices will for sure disturb you." Mom told and everyone chuckled while she nodded.
"I'll go to Nishi's room" She said when Aashi spoke.
"You'll be uncomfortable there. Go to Ruh's room" She told
"Yes di. I'm already going for some work. So you can sleep their peacefully" Ruhaan too said and she nodded.
"Am okay. Mom, don't call. Knock on the door okay. I'm really sleepy" She said and her mom nodded.
Giving one glance at me she went upstairs to Ruhaan's room.
I don't know if she has any idea that how tough it is for me to see her in this house yet not being able to hold her.
