"If this guy flew planes for Ward, he's gotta be pretty tight-lipped." Pope says as we are all on Kies car.
"So then direct approach gets my vote." JJ says loading his gun.
"JJ, no." Pope says.
"No. What?" Kie says shocked.
"Put the g*n down, man." Pope adds.
"Guys! We gotta keep this simple, or we'll never get John B off." JJ says arguing.
"Or we just tickle the wire." Pope says holding up his AirPods.
"What?" Kie asks.
"We tickle the wire." I say smiling.
"I plant my phone in his car, and then we listen in on your AirPods." Pope says as he sets it up. "Say something." He says putting the speaker of the phone to Kies mouth.
"Something." She says keeping her eyes on the road.
"Something." Kies voice says over the recording.
"Okay, we have audio." Pope says.

"I think that's his house over there." Pope says as we pull over to the opposite side. "All right, honk or, uh... or yell or something if you see anything suspicious."
"Don't do anything dangerous." Kie tells him.
"Come on. I'm not JJ."
"Funny, Pope." JJ says.
We sit in the car until JJ starts talking. "How's it been going, you know, with Pope and all?"
"It's good." Kie says.
"It's good? All right. In the bedroom, is he, like, kinda freaky, 'cause it's Pope, you know?" JJ asks as I look at him with wide eyes.
"Why are you asking?" She says confused looking back at him.
"I don't know. Just kinda curious. Just spitballing here."
"You don't need to spitball. We could sit in silence." Kie says looking back out the window.
"Ranking-wise--" JJ says still asking.
"Oh, you're still asking?" She asks looking back at him again as I hold back a laugh.
"Yeah, I was just curious."
"You're still curious."
"Is John B better?" JJ asks as I laugh.
"What?" Kie asks shocked.
"Okay."
"Would you like me to ask about you're sex life?" She asks him.
"No." I say.
"I'd say pretty good." JJ states shrugging his shoulders.
I look at him confused. We don't have a sex life, so who has he been having a good sex life with?
"What?" I question him shocked.
He shakes his head no at me. "I'm lying." He whispers to me as I roll my eyes at him.
Kie looks away as we are all sitting here awkwardly as Pope gets into the car.
"Okay. Phase one is complete. Everything-- Are we all good?" Pope asks looking at all of us.

"She's the best." Pope answers.
"Should I do an accent?" Kie asks.
"Definitely disguise your voice."
"How would you like me to talk?" Kie asks in an English accent.
"Not like that." JJ says.
"No." Pope says. "Batman."
"Batman." Kie says in a Batman voice.
"There you go."
"Spot-on. Let's do it." JJ says.
"Hello?" We hear Gavin say through the phone as he answers.
"Hello." Kie says in her Batman voice and then turns to us saying she can't do it.
"Hello?" Gavin says again.
"Is Gavin there?" Kie asks in her normal voice.
"This is Gavin. Who's this? Hello?"
"I know what happened on the tarmac."
"Um... who's this?" Gavin asks nervously laughing.
"It was Rafe Cameron. But you already knew that, and you lied about it."
"Okay. Who is this?"
"We're gonna prove it."
"You're gonna tell me who this is now."
"You could have saved her, Gavin, and you didn't. And you're not getting away with this."
"Listen to me! Who is this?" Gavin says as she hangs up the phone.
"How was that?" Kie asks us.
"Yeah." Pope says.
"Yeah, I was scared. Good job." JJ says.
"Yea, that was good." I say shaking my head yes.
"All right. We tickled the wire. Phase two complete. Now we wait and listen." Pope says.
We watch as Gavin pulls out of the driveway and we quickly duck so he doesn't see us. Once he drives past us we sit up and go.
"My seat belt." Pope says struggling to put it on.
"Are you seriously buckling up now?" JJ asks.
"Yes, I am."
"You don't need it right now." Kie says as she drives.
"Stop it." I tell Pope so he stops trying.
"He's talking to Ward." Pope says as he listens. I feel JJ grab my hand as I look at him and we give eachother a tight lipped smile.
"Get clo... get closer. I can't hear." Pope tells Kie.
"Okay." She says driving closer.
"He's talking about negotiating something. Re... renegotiating." Pope says as JJ and I look at eachother. I bite my bottom lip as a way to try and calm me down.
"Gavin's got the g*n that Rafe used to k*ll Peterkin." Pope says as my eyes widen.
I feel my stomach drop. I have to much hope. How could someone I once loved hurt so many people...
I loved Rafe and he hurt me. I love Sarah and John B, they hurt me. I loved my parents, they hurt me. Maybe one day Barry and JJ will.
I look down at my hand that's connected to JJ's and let go.
He can't hurt me if I don't let me get close.
"I think he's trying to use it as extortion, as leverage."
"Wait. He's pulling over." Kie says as I look to see the car pulling over.
"Shit. He's panicking." Pope says as his face then drops. "Eve, Johnathan is with Ward."
"What?" I question. This can't happen again, please not again.
"Do I pull behind him? What do I do?"
"Go around the block." I tell her.
"Yeah. Yeah, just go." JJ says agreeing.
"We're gonna lose him." Kie says as she try's to dive as fast as possible around the block without causing attention.
"I can't hear anything. Shit. I'm losing the signal. I can't hear him." Pope says as we all start to panic.
"What the hell is this?" JJ says as we come up to a closed road.
"Stop. Just stop and turn around now." Pope says.
"Pull in here and back up." JJ says as we all freak out.
"I'm just gonna back up." Kie says as she starts to back up but a work truck blocks us in.
"You literally had to do that now? Wait! Pope!" JJ says as we all look back to see Pope running and jumping the fence.
"We gotta know where they're meeting." He yells.
"We're going after him, right?" JJ asks us.
"Yep." Kie and I both say as we run after Pope and jump the fence. We run through multiple back yards and then we see some Kooks that JJ
has picked fights with.
"Sean? Ah, this is where you live, you Kook." JJ says as we all run to Pope who's in the grass
"Did you hear something?"
"He... he's meeting Ward right now. We gotta go." Pope says with wide eyes as we start running back to the car.
