#9 in creatures, I am so happy! Thank you all for your love and support. God bless you all 😊

"How did you lose it?" Cedrick asked, concern etched on his face. "His Majesty is not going to like this."

"I can retrieve it," Kira said, determination shining in her eyes. "I know they keep her somewhere in this place."

Kira and Cedrick moved silently through the dimly lit corridors, their steps barely audible. They whispered to each other, exchanging plans and strategies as they approached King Reagan's room.

"I saw them bring her in," Cedrick revealed, his voice barely a whisper. "She is exactly as the seer described. But how do we release her?"

"We shall find a way, even if it means we have to kill every single soldier in Konica's army," Kira declared with unwavering resolve. Finally, they arrived in front of Reagan's room. Kira turned to Cedrick and instructed him to wait there.

With a deep breath, Kira steeled herself and gently pushed the door open. As she entered, she closed it behind her, shutting out the outside world. Inside, King Reagan sat on a grand chair, his eyes fixed on the dancing flames in the hearth.

His face was concealed by an elaborate mask, making it impossible to discern his true emotions.

"Your Majesty," Kira called, her voice trembling slightly. She hesitated for a moment, the weight of her task heavy on her shoulders. But she knew there was no turning back now.

"Where is the girl?" Reagan's voice boomed, resonating with authority.

Kira swallowed hard, steeling herself once more.

Fear flickered in Kira's eyes, though she was not one easily frightened. She understood all too well the dire consequences that awaited her if she failed to deliver what King Reagan sought.

"They took her," Kira finally confessed, her voice laced with regret and a hint of desperation.

Silence enveloped the room, stretching out like an eternity. Reagan's gaze remained fixed on the crackling flames, his face an impenetrable mask.

Then, after what felt like an eternity, he slowly rose from his seat, his towering figure casting a shadow over the room. Kira's heart sank, realizing the weight of her failure.

"You failed me," Reagan's voice boomed, each word seeping with disappointment and fury.

Kira's head lowered, her body instinctively bowing before her king. " "If it pleases you, my king, I offer my life, for I am unworthy to stand in your presence," she offered, her voice imbued with resignation. "Yet, grant me but a final opportunity, and I shall exert every ounce of effort to make sure..."

"You shall do nothing," Reagan interrupted, his voice cutting through the air with finality. ". "Your actions have sufficed." Pausing for a moment, his penetrating gaze locked onto hers. "I shall undertake matters from this point forward."

Kira drew in a deep breath, steeling herself for the rough path that lay ahead. The weight of the king's interference added an extra layer of difficulty, casting a shadow of impending doom over Konica.

Jamari lay weak on the cold prison cell floor, his body ravaged by the venom coursing through his veins. The air in the cell was dusty and filled with despair, barely illuminated by a single flickering light. The only presence of authority was a lone guard stationed at the entrance, his eyes heavy with exhaustion.

In the midst of this desolation, Marcella, Jamari's god mother, arrived with the antidote clutched tightly in her hand. Stepping into the prison, she confronted the guard, her voice filled with urgency. "I must speak with the Vedan. Grant us some space," she insisted, her eyes fixed on the guard's face.

The guard hesitated, aware of the danger that lay within the cell. "It is dangerous," he warned, trying to dissuade Marcella from entering. He understood the volatile nature of the creature inside, a force to be reckoned with.

Unwavering, Marcella met the guard's gaze with steely resolve. "If it decides to attack, the only one who can control her is me," she declared, her voice laced with conviction. "Leave. I will handle things."

Reluctantly, the prison guard nodded, realizing the depth of Marcella's determination and understanding that her presence held the best chance for survival. He stepped aside, allowing her passage into the heart of the darkness.

As the guard retreated, Marcella's expression softened, revealing the depth of her love and concern. Her eyes welled with tears as she caught sight of her daughter's almost lifeless body laying on the prison floor. Without a moment's hesitation, she rushed to Jamari's side, dropping to her knees on the cold floor.

Sitting down on the dirty prison floor, Marcella cradled Jamari's head in her lap, the touch of her gentle hands offering a flicker of comfort amidst the pain.

Jamari's pale skin was marred by purple veins, a vivid reminder of the venom's deep penetration. With trembling hands, Marcella poured the potent potion into her daughter's parched mouth, her eyes brimming with tears. She held Jamari close, desperately wishing that her warnings had been heeded, that her daughter had stayed safe.

Tears streamed down Marcella's face as she whispered brokenly, "I wish you had just listened to me, I wish you had stayed there." Regret and anguish filled her voice, knowing that the consequences of Jamari's defiance had led them to this grim moment.

Suddenly, Jamari began to cough, the sound accompanied by the expulsion of the purple substance that had plagued her. Each spasm brought relief, as the once-prominent veins slowly receded, fading away like a distant nightmare.

Collapsing back into her mother's arms, Jamari struggled to catch her breath. Each gasp was heavy and labored, but the act of breathing itself was a victory-a sign that hope still lingered. Marcella held her daughter tightly, her heart aching yet brimming with gratitude for this fragile moment of respite.

"Jamari," Marcella whispered, her voice trembling with a mix of relief and concern, "speak to me, my child. Let me know you're still here."

Weakly, Jamari managed to utter her godmother's name, her voice barely a whisper. "Where am I?" she murmured, confusion etched in her frail expression.

Marcella gently brushed a strand of hair away from Jamari's face, her touch tender and filled with love. "Do not worry about that, child. I will get you away from here," she vowed, her voice resolute. With renewed determination, she clutched Jamari tightly, ready to shield her from the darkness that threatened to consume their lives.

She whispered words of love and reassurance, her voice a tender lullaby. In that moment, nothing else mattered except the fragile life in her embrace and the hope that her actions would be enough to save her beloved child.

Angry villagers gathered, their voices reverberated with an intensity that pierced the air. "Vedan, kill the witch! End her! She's an evil man-eater!" Their words dripped with venom, stinging Jamari's ears and leaving her shocked. She found herself tightly held by the guards who walked her through the guards of angry villagers who wanted her dead at the moment.

Corvus, ever watchful, stood nearby, helping Jamari see what was going on in her environment. Four long days had gone by since she was imprisoned and it was her first time seeing the sunlight again.
A lot had happened to her during her days of in prisons, sacrifices had been made by her God mother to ensure her life is not ended, even though she had to make a deal with a man all considers evil to assure that.

The angry crowd didn't let up, throwing objects and shouting hurtful words at Jamari. With the guards guiding her, she made her way through the chaotic mass of people until they reached a raised platform. On that platform stood the king of Konica Herad and other important figures, their faces filled with seriousness as they watched the unfolding scene.

However, as Jamari looked out at the crowd, a feeling of sadness washed over her. She couldn't find any familiar faces, making her feel lost in a sea of strangers. The absence of her godmother's comforting presence made her sense of isolation even heavier.

She looked defiantly at King Herad, the man she had discovered was her true father within four days of her being in the palace prison. The realization had been shocking, but it paled in comparison to the anger that now burned in his eyes. He knew the truth as well, that she was his daughter, but instead of embracing her, it only fueled his desire to kill her.

With a deep breath, she clenched her fists and bit her lip in frustration. Despite the fear and uncertainty that gripped her, she refused to show weakness. The angry crowd surrounding her continued to hurl insults, their venomous words stinging her ears.

Dressed in tattered brown garments, her hands bound tightly in front of her, she stood before them awaiting her judgement. Her once pristine white hair was tainted by a trickle of blood, staining her forehead.

King Herad's voice resonated through the air, commanding attention from the restless mob. "We are gathered here today to witness what I believe to be a just act," he declared, his words carrying the weight of authority. The murmuring among the crowd gradually subsided, giving way to an eerie silence.

"This wicked witch has managed to infiltrate our beloved Kingdom, casting a dark curse upon us and plotting to devour our innocent children," Herad's voice boomed through the crowd.

Jamari's heart pounded in her chest, a mix of anger and fear gripping her tightly. How could her own father view her in such a twisted light?

"Today, I shall put an end to this madness," Herad declared with a resolute tone. "I have made a solemn promise to you, my loyal subjects, that I will not allow this evil to prevail. Today, we shall bring about its demise."

Jamari struggled to contain her emotions as tears welled up in her eyes. How could she, a daughter of the King, be condemned and despised so intensely? It was an unbearable truth she had to face.

Amidst the sea of angry faces in the crowd, she caught sight of her Godmother, who offered a nod of reassurance. It was a small gesture, but it conveyed an unspoken message of support and strength.

Tears streamed down Jamari's face as she grappled with the overwhelming despair. In this moment of darkness, she clung to the glimmer of hope provided by her Godmother's presence.

"And I, your King, will once again protect my people," Herad's voice echoed with conviction. "I will ensure their safety by severing the head of this venomous creature."

The weight of Herad's words hung in the air, the crowd awaiting the final verdict. For Jamari, it marked the beginning of a harrowing journey, one where she would have to confront the hatred and misconceptions that plagued her existence.

Next to Jamari, a looming stack of jagged rocks set the eerie scene for her impending doom. Standing tall, a man gripped a glimmering silver axe, its blade sharp and ready for the moment of execution.

Tears welled up in Jamari's eyes, a clear sign of the overwhelming emotions that threatened to engulf her. In this crucial moment, she couldn't help but reflect on the rollercoaster journey that had brought her to this point. Despite the imminent tragedy that lay before her, she held onto a sense of gratitude for the adventures and lessons she had experienced in the outside world. It was a bittersweet comfort amidst the looming threat of her demise.

"Let the execution commence," King Herad's voice reverberated through the air as he settled into his throne, his eyes fixed on his daughter.

Guided by merciless guards, Jamari was forcefully dragged to the center of her own death. Forced to kneel on the unforgiving ground, she resigned herself to her fate, her head was forced to bend, placing it on the rocks. Time seemed to stand still as she waited with a strange calmness for the the axe that would end her stay in the world.

Her father, King Herad, cast one final prolonged gaze on her, his face a portrait of complex emotions. With a chilling decree, he condemned her. "Off with her head!"

The crowd was filled with excitement and satisfaction as they cheered, their cheers echoing through the air. The heavy atmosphere weighed down on Jamari as she felt the weight of their judgment.

As the executioner raised his axe high above his head, a shiver raced through Jamari's body. The reality of her impending fate became clear, making her tremble. The world around her seemed to blur, fear and acceptance overwhelming her.

In that haunting moment, Jamari found herself standing on the edge of life and death. Her heart pounded with fear.

The cheers of the crowd grew louder as the executioner prepared to swing his axe down on Jamari's head. But their jubilation was suddenly shattered by deafening screeches that echoed through the air, jolting everyone into silence.

All eyes turned towards a figure soaring in the distance, screeching with increasing intensity as it drew nearer. "Dragon!" someone yelled, and the people gasped in fear. The gigantic creature approached, growing larger with every passing moment, its screeches growing louder.

The crowd erupted into chaos as people fled in terror, desperate to escape the approaching threat. The dragon landed with a thunderous thud, its piercing screeches filling the air and leaving destruction in its wake.

The creature was truly magnificent. It had massive wings that stretched wide, its scales shimmering under the sunlight. Its eyes blazed with an otherworldly intensity, and its powerful claws and tail hinted at its immense strength.

Caught between the imminent execution and the awe-inspiring arrival of the dragon, Jamari couldn't help but be captivated by its presence, even amidst the turmoil and danger surrounding her.

In the midst of the chaos, a frightened King Herad stumbled forward, his face etched with fear. "What's happening?" he quivered, his voice trembling with uncertainty.

The guards, driven by desperation, attempted to confront the dragon, but their efforts were swiftly met with a fiery fate. The dragon's screeches echoed through the air as it burned, crushed, and devoured them, leaving no room for mercy.

Left alone on the altar, King Herad stood frozen with fear. His officials had vanished, leaving him isolated and vulnerable before the wrath of the formidable creature.

Amidst the tense and bewildering scene, Kira, accompanied by Marcella, suddenly appeared before the astonished onlookers. Jamari's eyes widened in disbelief at their unexpected arrival, unable to fathom the implications of their presence.

"It doesn't have to be this way," Kira proclaimed, her voice laced with urgency and determination. She fixed her gaze upon King Herad, her words carrying an air of warning and hope.

Sensing his confusion and fear, King Herad stammered, "What have I done to anger the Dragon King? Please, Kira, I beg you, convince the creature to retreat."

Kira sighed, her expression filled with empathy. "Necrodaxis, the dragon, can only be controlled by the Dragon King himself. And unfortunately the dragon king is on his way back to his Kingdom so if you choose to kill his wife, no one can stop the dragon"

The king's brow furrowed with even greater bewilderment. "what?"

Marcella, her voice steady and calm, answered, "The dragon has been given a single command by the dragon king: retrieve his queen. If any resistance is encountered, he will unleash the full fury of Necrodaxis upon the entire kingdom."

King Herad's eyes widened in realization, a mix of shock and trepidation washing over him. "His queen?"

With measured steps, Kira approached Jamari, her presence exuding a mix of reverence and solemnity. She gracefully bowed before her, her voice filled with unwavering respect as she addressed Jamari as "Your Majesty."

Jamari's mind spun with confusion, her eyes darting between Kira and King Herad. "Your Majesty? I... I don't understand."

Kira, her eyes filled with a deep sense of purpose, spoke with conviction. "The Dragon King has marked you as his queen, with the sacred bond of his blood. In accordance with the ancient traditions of our land, you are now the rightful queen of Drakonia."

As Kira pointed to the blood mark upon Jamari's forehead, a hushed silence descended upon the crowd, their hearts heavy with the weight of this unexpected revelation. A sense of both awe and uncertainty permeated the air, as everyone contemplated the profound implications of this newfound destiny.

King Herad's face paled, his voice trembling. To harm the Queen of Drakonia would invite dire consequences, unimaginable doom.

Jamari, still grappling with the enormity of her role, looked into Kira's eyes, searching for clarity. She was confused as she still didn't fully understand what was going on.
