NAINA'S POV
I turned on another side of the bed as my eyes opened and I looked at her.
"Good morning"She gave her toothy grin.
"Ugh! Tell your grand maa , I need sleep" I mumbled
"She said, tickle her if she doesn't wake up" Raavi , My niece grinned
"No Raa.....aahhh!" Before I could complete she did what she was told to.
And I woke up obviously!
"Awake" I mocked and she giggled looking at me.
"What bribe did you get" I asked huffing
"The new barbie movie! First day, first show" she grinned
"I could've given you the same " I whined standing up from bed.
"One who comes first, gets first" she sang
"Businessman ki aulaad (kid of businessman) " I muttered and she laughed.
I huffed brushing my teeth, and took bath first.
Getting ready , I took my blazer & I went downstairs to see everyone at breakfast table.
"Late! Again!" Mom complained
"Morning to you too mom" I mocked
"Look, look at her! How she mocks" mom said to dad while he chuckled
"Good morning papa" I wished smirking at mom who sighed.
"Where's Bhai & Bhabhi" I asked
"Raavi had PTM! They went to school! Come now,Have breakfast" Mom said and I nodded doing the same.
"Naina, where is the next event ?" papa asked
"Lonavala! I'll send the team there. My college are starting after ten days. I need to do my PHD " I said
"I don't know what's the need. You're already doing so well in your field" Mom asked
"Just a choice mom. What if some day the event management company just shuts down or no one like my ideas anymore. Or....anything you know. PHD in accounting & management will give me safer side." I said
"You and your work." mom stated
"That's a good thing!" Dad suggested
"Thought of doing that! It'll be fine right?" I asked
"Of course! You've your branches in India Kiddo. It's an achievement in itself " dad proudly said and I nodded.
"Then, Your wedding" Mom exclaimed and I looked at her.
"Your car stops there only" I mocked again
"Well,she isn't wrong now!You'll be 27" papa said
"You told 28" I pouted and they both chuckled.
"You'll be 28 till you get married! It's not like, as soon as you set up the branch in US, Next day you'll marry" Mom told
"Ugh! I'll not leave my home. Tell the person marrying me to leave his home" I said and right then hit my leg under the table.
"Arrghh! " I whined but no one of them looked at me.
"How mean" I mumbled
"It's not mean. It's your regular job to get hit from anything. I don't know how you can get hit in your own house in which you're living since ages" Mom said
"Papa" I whined
"She's right in this. You've got a pair of eyes don't you" He mocked this time and I huffed.
"Idiot" they both mumbled while I stuffed my breakfast.
"Okay! I'm going! Bye" I replied and went to my car and drove off to my office.
I love this work! I love to see people so happy with my work.
But it was a monday morning! And I hate mondays!!
I actually hate anything that would come after a Sunday!
The whole day passed in some meetings and some presentations that the team had prepared for next events.
At night I went home.
"Bhuaaaa" Raavi exclaimed as she saw me and hugged me.
"How was your result" I asked
"Second in class!" she grinned
"Wow!That calls for a party" I whispered in her ear and she grinned
"What's cooking there" Bhai asked
"Top secret" I smirked
"Of course party! You need a reason to gobble the momos" Bhai mocked
"No! I don't need reasons! I've to just tell you all a reason!" I mocked back
" Ugh! Why didn't you take college outside" He said
"Ugh! Why didn't you take business outside" I mimicked
"Stop it both of you" It was bhabhi this time and we both looked at her.
"She got complaints?" I asked her
"Everything is perfect Mrs. Rathi, but Raavi speaks a lot" Avni bhabhi mimicked Raavi's teacher and I laughed.
"Went totally on Bhua. Very good baby proud of you !" I patted myself and they all chuckled.
"Okay Bhabhi tell me! Momos tonight?" I asked her
"No! I and mumma have already cooked" She said and I sighed looking at Raavi.
"Bhua,momos" she pouted
"It's okay Raavi! Tomorrow" I frowned and she sighed
"Okay come with me to my room" I added and she jumped from the couch and followed me with a sad face.
"Arey! Listen. We'll eat a little what's made. Then you say everyone that you want to go to park. We'll get our momos" I winked and she grinned
"You're The Best!!" She said jumping on me and hugged me while I giggled.
"But, two rules" I warned and she nodded.
"Rule no 1- It's a very top secret.
Rule no 2 - After eating, we'll walk in park, drink milk at night and then brush out teeth" She repeated and I smiled.
"Perfect! Lemme get freshened up! Then we'll eat a little " I said and she nodded
After having a little dinner, we both went out and had our Tandoori cheese momos!
"Bhua, Ice cream"Raavi exclaimed as she saw the ice cream parlour on the way.
"Okay come" I said as we entered there.
"One cookie dough & One chocolate mud pie " I ordered and very soon we were having our ice creams.
" Four Kesar Pista too! Pack them" I ordered and as soon as I got them, we went out and were walking when, my right shoulder hit someone's upper arm.
"Oh I'm s.." I was saying before which the person walked past me.
I turned at saw him talking on the call and going to the medical .
"Strange!" I muttered and shrugging the thought of how my body felt a current, we moved back home.
Giving mom the ice creams, we all sat in the living room for some time talking and chilling after which everyone retired to their room .
Sleep over powered me as soon as I hit the bed.
Next morning the routine followed and in after noon I came back from work.
Resting for some time, I went back to office but the irritating situation was when I got all the Signals red!!
And I was of course a bit late!
It was somewhat 5:45 pm when I reached the office and my secretary looked at me.
"How's work going on in Lonavala? " I asked
"Perfect ma'am" She replied and I nodded.
"Ma'am, there's someone from SGH" She said
" Do they have meetings fixed?" I asked when she denied.
"Then what Jiya. Tell them to have an appointment first. I've event meetings lined up " I said
"But ma'am... " She was saying when I spoke.
"Go and tell them to book an appointment prior. I've meetings right now" I stated and she nodded going out.
The next day when all this was going on, I saw Jiya coming inside my cabin with a woman.
"Ma'am. She's Mrs. Jain. Secretary of SGH company" She introduced
"I thought the meetings are done with CEOs" I said glaring at Jiya.
"I'm sorry Ms. Rathi. Actually sir was really very busy otherwise he himself would've come. Normally his professional and personal events are taken care by himself only but today he had to urgently go to his home. That's why I'm here. I'm not here for the detailed discussions, just briefs." She explained
"Okay! You may proceed" I said and she nodded.
For a while she told me about the event which was going to happen in Mumbai itself. The biggest charity ball of the year. And SGH wanted us to organize it.
"Okay. I'll need a day. My secretary will reach you out for next meeting" I stated after discussion.
"Thankyou. I'll let sir know the same" She said and I nodded.
After she went away, I looked at Jiya.
"Get the best team ready tomorrow for this meeting. This is going to be biggest deal of year. We need it to be best" I commanded and she nodded.
SGH was World's one of the most renowned hotel & restra chains.
The next day the meeting was done, Ample amount of ideas were discussed and after choosing some options, I told Jiya to fix a meeting next day.
The next day when I came in office there was man with a kid actually .
"I love this place" The kid chirped and I smiled
"Strategies to attract people. Purely business" that man spoke and I was a bit offended seriously.
How could he say that!
"Attracting people is the base of my work " I stated and the man turned around looking at me.
