It was the next morning. Normani found herself under the covers in bed with her legs tangled up with Von's. He had his arms wrapped around her as they laid down face to face with each other.
Von gave her his full attention as he watched the way she just looked at him. He could see the love in her eyes. They both were just happy to finally be in each others arms again.
"What's on my mind?"
She repeated. He just nodded. He was curious to know what she was thinking in terms of their relationship. Von was on a mission to do right by her.
"Yeah. I wanna do this the right way witchu. If there is anything you need me ta do in order for us to make this work, Ima do it."
He said. Normani could just feel the butterflies dancing in her stomach. Von was really serious about her and it was starting to become clear. The way he was constantly making an effort to show her that she is exactly what he wants, just made her feel more secure.
"Well.. how many hoes do you have right now?"
She questioned. Her eyebrow slowly went up as Von just chuckled.
"Ion got any right now actually. I got rid of em a while back just fa you."
He admitted.
"A while back? When?"
She continued to question. She watched him as he thought for a moment.
"It was definitely 2 months ago. Before you decided that you needed space, I was already deleting and blocking hoes out my phone."
He spoke truthfully. She just nodded her head slowly, believing every word that he was saying.
"What about Kema? Is she out of the picture too? I haven't really seen much of her at work. I think she quit or something."
She muttered.
"I been got rid of ha too. Although, Ima be honest witchu, Kema still be tryna call my shit with unknown numbers every now and then."
"Seriously?"
Normani said while frowning. Von just nodded.
"What exactly does she want from you? We're you guys in a relationship-"
"Hell naw. I wasn't in no relationship wit anyone. All my hoes knew what was up."
He pointed. Normani just nodded her head slowly, slightly making a face.
"All your hoes? Ew Dayvon."
She snickered. He just sucked his teeth playfully as she rolled her eyes.
"Look, nun of they asses matter anymore. That shit was inna past. Plus, I haven't messed wit anyone within the last 2 months. You was the only one on my mind."
He admitted.
"I knew yo ass would be coming around soon, so I just waited fa you. I ain't been wit anyone since you and I last had sex."
He confessed. Normani was just shocked to even hear those words. Her eyes just grew a bit wide.
"Seriously? For 2 whole months you haven't messed with anyone?"
She repeated.
"I promise you I haven't. A nigga was celibate. That's what that means right?"
He questioned. Normani just giggled.
"Well yeahh that's right. I'm just shocked."
She laughed. Von playfully sucked his teeth as she chuckled.
"A nigga was just waitin on you ta come around. I knew you just needed some time and I was willing ta give you that."
He spoke softly. Normani reached up with her fingers while playing with his face. She began tracing an outline of his perfectly shaped eyebrows while listening to him speak.
"Ion think you really understand how much I love you Mani."
He muttered. His eyes just gazed into hers sweetly. She could feel her heart flutter a bit just by his words alone.
"I really wanna spend the rest of my life showin you how much you mean ta."
He went on.
"I feel so deeply about you. It be driving me crazy wheneva we apart n shit. It's like within the last 3 years nothin has been feelin right fa me. And that's because my stupid ass decided to let you go thinkin that shit was a good idea inna first place."
Normani just listened as he continued.
"You always chose me no matter what when we first got together. It was hard fa me to understand that when we was dating. With all that bad shit happening ta you I never understood how you was able to still wanna be around a nigga like me. Especially wit how dangerous my life was."
He went on. Normani could just see the genuine emotions in his eyes. It was like the more they talked, the more they were beginning to understand each others thought process within the last couple of years.
"I just knew that I loved you, Dayvon. My heart only wanted you. I didn't care about what kind of lifestyle you had. I just felt like our love was way stronger then any of the negative things that tried to get inbetween us."
She spoke softly. She just watched as Von licked his lips real slowly.
"Do you still feel that way? Like our love is strong even though I fucked it up?"
He questioned. He truly admired how Normani felt like their was love powerful enough to withstand anything. He just hoped that she still felt that way despite everything.
"Of course I do. I mean look at us.. who would've thought-"
She pointed while giggling. He just playfully mushed her face with his hand as she swatted him away. They both just gazed at each other, basking in the moment while cuddling. Von just knew that she was right. Even though they had been going through rough times together, the love that they had for each other was definitely unbreakable.
"I always wish that I could just go back in time and change what I did inna past. Cus we'd prolly be married right now wit 7 kids-"
"7 kids?!"
Normani repeated in shock.
"Hell yeah. We finna have a whole football team."
He spoke in a nonchalant tone.
"Uhhhh I don't know about 7. Maybe 2."
She pointed.
"4."
He pointed back.
"What about 3.. I feel like thats a cute and workable number."
She negotiated. He just grinned before leaning in, pecking her lips softly.
"We'll see about that lil foe nem."
He mumbled before pulling her on top of him. She just giggled as she straddled him with her legs. He had his hand wrapped around her neck as he just pulled her down, kissing her slowly.
Normani just closed her eyes as he sucked on her bottom lip. He let his hands travel down to her waist before slipping them underneath the t-shirt that she was wearing. Her skin was warm and soft against his hands. He caressed her sweetly, lightly tugging at her panties.

She continued to move against him, only causing her to let out a moan. She could feel his fingers slip in between her panties, attempting to pull them off just before they heard a loud knock on the door.
"Mani! Von! Wake y'all nasty asses up!"
Ari's voice could be heard yelling. Normani just giggled as Von sucked his teeth with annoyance. Ari kept on knocking on the door as Normani quickly hopped out of bed.
"You bet beat her ass fa makin allat noise and disrupting us."
Von snickered. She just waved him off before skipping her way out the room. The hotel that they were currently staying in was pretty huge. She just made her way down the hall, through the kitchen before approaching the door.
Mani just swung the door open, only to be met with a stern face looking Ari.
"Well good morning to you miss bride."
Normani teased.
"Yeah yeah yeah, why you ain't tell me that you landed last night?! I had to find out from my drunk ass fiancé who by the way, was telling me an amazing story about some Taina hoe."
Ari pointed. Normani just chuckled as Ari made her way inside.
"Taina? Who is that?"
She questioned before closing the door. Ari just rolled her eyes as she stomped her way into the kitchen area.
"Girl ion know. He was so drunk last night he was straight telling on himself. I almost beat the shit out him."
She muttered.
"Telling on himself? Like he cheated?"
Normani questioned. Ari just huffed while crossing her arms against her chest.
"I don't know. I hope he didn't. He just kept calling me that bitch name."
She went on. Normani could see the worry on Ari's face.
"So wait, what exactly happened? Did he explain himself?"
She continued to question. Ari just pouted.
"Well no, the guys all went to some strip club last night. Apparently they met a bunch of hoes outside the club and they were taking pictures with them. Where's Von? He prolly knows what happened."
Ari pointed.
"Ari, I don't think Herb would cheat on you. Especially since the wedding is literally tomorrow."
Mani insisted. Ari just rolled her eyes before letting out a sigh.
"He betta not have. Because it's stressing me out and I feel like I'm just-"
She began to sniffle before a few tears started to fall. Normani just frowned, quickly pulling her cousin into a hug.
"I swear to God if I find out that he cheated-"
"Who cheated?"
Von's voice could be heard as he entered the kitchen. He just stood in the doorway confused as Ari was in Mani's arms. Ari just wiped a few of her tears before pulling away.
"Von, who the fuck is Taina?"
She questioned. Both the girls were now staring at him as if he was in trouble. Normani just gave him a look, urging him to just answer the question about what happened last night.
"Uhh Taina? She was some fan I think. It was ha and a couple other hoes with ha-"
"What hoes. What are there names?"
Ari continued to press.
"Shit ion remember. I do know that we had Herb locked inna car when they started actin funny. I promise his ass ain't cheat. He was just drunk out his mind."
He said while shrugging. Normani just glanced back at Ari who was slowly nodding her head. She had a small look of relief washing over her facial expression.
"Okay... okay good."
She began. She just wiped her tears with her hands.
"Because I'm telling you right now it woulda been a homicide up in this bitch-"
She mumbled to herself before heading towards the door.
"This whole wedding woulda been canceled-"
She continued to mumble.
"Also we are having breakfast downstairs. So bring y'all asses on."
She hollered before exiting. Both Von and Normani just looked at each other while shaking their heads.
"I swear they are meant to be with each other. They both crazy."
Von pointed, referring to Herb and Ari. Normani just chuckled.
"I guess so. I just hope he really didn't do anything stupid. She's clearly stressed out about this whole wedding thing."
She said while frowning.
"Naww. We was watching him the entire time. I mean before that, he was going around showing everyone pictures of Ari talm bout sum 'i love my bitch'."
Von said while trying to imitate Herb's voice. Normani couldn't help but laugh.
"Oh really? That's how he said it?"
She teased. He just sucked his teeth before grabbing onto her arm lightly.
"Aye I'm not done wit yo ass. Let's go start making these kids."
He began while pulling her close.
"Oh hell no Von. I am not having no kids with you unless-"
He just started to tickle her as she laughed. She quickly wiggled out of his grip before running down the hall away from him. Von just laughed as he just went right after her.
Sitting by herself in a waiting room, Kema had her phone out as she just eye'd it. She was currently watching a video of Von that she had taken of him the night she first met him.
She watched the video over and over again, feeling her heart flutter at the way he was handsomely grinning into the camera. She just couldn't help but feel in love.
She sighed a bit, continuing to let the video play as she thought about him. She hadn't seen or heard from Von within the last 2 months. The last time she ever saw him was at the club when he had that huge performance going on. He ended up telling her to leave him alone for good that night in the parking lot before she watched him drive off with Normani.
Thinking about that night just pissed her off.
"Shakema?"
Looking up from her phone, Kema just smiled as her eyes met with a nurse. The nurse was just standing there smiling politely with a clip board in her hand.
"If you don't mind following me right through this door here-"
The nurse began. Kema just nodded, grabbing her purse before hopping up out the chair in the waiting room. She followed the nurse through the double doors before entering a hallway.
"So, do you mind just going back through your symptoms again for me real quick?"
The nurse questioned. She whipped out her pen, getting ready to write down whatever Kema was about to say.
"Well, the last couple of weeks I've been experiencing a lot of morning sickness. I can't seem to keep my food down. I've been dealing with a lot of mood swings which isn't really normal for me."
Kema said while thinking. The nurse just nodded as they both headed towards a room.
"So, you think these are pregnancy symptoms?"
The nurse questioned. They both entered the doctors room, Kema taking a seat right onto the examining table.
"Oh I know I'm pregnant. I took 3 at home test that came back positive."
She proudly stated.
"I just wanted to take a blood test just to make sure I'm not going crazy."
She went on. The nurse just smiled before jotting down some more notes onto her clipboard.
"Aww we'll congratulations. I can definitely set up some blood testing for you today. We can even do a ultrasound on your stomach if you'd like, depending on how far along you are."
"That would be great."
Kema said with excitement. The nurse just nodded her head.
"Alright miss Shakema. You just sit tight while I go and set that up for you."
She began before exiting the room. Kema just sighed deeply, placing her bag down right next to her before focusing back onto her phone. It was actually vibrating in her hands, signaling that she was receiving a call from somebody. She just stared at the screen, rolling her eyes before answering the phone call.
"What Kentrell."
She said with annoyance. She could hear him sucking his teeth through the phone.
"What the fuck is you havin an attitude wit me fa Kema?"
He snapped.
"I'm sort of busy right now. I can't really talk on the phone-"
"Where you at? I been calling you all fuckin morning and you ain't been answering me. I swear to God you betta not be with no nigga-"
"Oh my goshhhh Kentrell. You and I are not together anymore. I don't know why you keep bothering me."
She whined.
"Yeah keep thinkin that shit. You wasn't sayin that ta me 3 months ago when we seen each other."
He snickered.
"Look, that was a mistake. I don't know how many times I need to explain that to you."
She huffed.
"Really Kema? So we gon keep playin this game?"
He questioned.
"And don't think I ain't know you was fuckin on my opps too. You know I got people that be reporting back to me on the shit you be doin out there in Atlanta."
He went on. Kema could just feel her heart drop a little as she stayed quiet.
"I don't know what you're talking about."
She spoke in a flat tone.
"I'm talkin bout Von you dumb bitch. I got people tellin me they seen you with his goofy ass. You know how embarrassing that is fa me? You out here fuckin with da fuckin opps?!"
He yelled.
"Look Kentrell, that is none of your concern. Please just stop callin my phone."
She said while rolling her eyes some more. She could just hear him laugh with a sinister tone in his voice.
"Say you know what Kema? I might have ta take a little trip out there since you wanna fuck around on me. Shit, I might fuck around and kill yo lil boyfriend just to teach both y'all asses a lesson-"
Kema quickly just hung up the phone on him before sighing. She went to his contact, immediately blocking his phone number.
The sound of the door swinging open startled her a bit just as the nurse came back in.
"Alright miss Shakema. Let's get started on this blood test for you."
The nurse spoke while smiling.
