Lylas' POV:
The remaining months went by in the blink of an eye and it was now time for finals. Throughout those months the trail with Ryan had wrapped up, the group had decided where they were going for college, Estrella got a boyfriend who got pretty much roughed up by Luca and Lorenzo, Lorenzo started seeing someone...a lot went down.
The group and I spent most of our free time together and on weekends getting hammered trying to make the most of our time left together. That and our trip that was coming up as well. Finals were stressing everyone out and after this shit was over we definitely were going to party.
Luca and I were still going strong along with everyone else and their relationships which made my heart smile each time I thought on it. I couldn't wait to finally claim him in public and not have to fear him losing his job or me getting expelled along with everything else that could go wrong. There was a knock on my desk making me snap out of my thoughts. Looking up my eyes met Lucas angry face.
"Stop zoning out." Firmly he spoke as he rolled his eyes proceeding to walk away from my desk right after.
Realization dawned on me that I was zoned out for longer than intended to. I literally only had an hour to finish this stupid stack of papers. With a few low swears I got to work immediately. After what felt like a never ending nightmare it finally ended.
"Everyone stop writing!" A teacher spoke firmly making everyone sigh relieved that it was finally over.
Today was the last day and I couldn't of been happier. Finals were so stressful, on top of that I was stressed since I hadn't heard back from any of the schools I applied to. After everyone had cleared the room Luca slipped me a note telling me to meet him in his office later which I quickly placed in my pocket after reading. I was honestly so drained from stressing over school that I just wanted to plop onto my bed. Once school ended I found myself in his office sitting across from him. Luca frowned slightly as he reached for my hands from across the desk.
"What's wrong? You look more drained than usual." I smiled noticing he actually paid lots of attention to me.
"It's just school getting to me..." he smiled softly and kissed my knuckles.
"Don't worry you'll get into your top picks...what schools did you apply to?" He asks curiously scrunching his face in confusion.
"I don't want to say until I get in.." a small adorable smile formed on his lips as he nodded getting out of his chair and kissing me from across the desk still.
"Whenever you're ready." He kissed me again and I smiled loving that he understood. When he sat back down I got up and went around the desk getting on my knees in between his thighs.
"Really?" Luca asked with a smirk as his tone and eyes showed nothing but amusement. I smiled and nodded biting my bottom lip.
"Yes." Innocently I spoke. He chuckled helping me pull him out of his trousers.
I pleased him until he was groaning my name fisting my hair. Luca threw his head back and let out one more grunt before finishing in my throat. After swallowing everything I slowly sucked him off helping him slowly come down from his high. I smiled pulling him out of my mouth and going up for a kiss. Luca was in such a daze I found myself giggling slightly. This was truly one of my favorite Lucas.
"You okay there soldier?" I teased as I laughed a little when he smiled and brought his head down to lock eyes with me. He pulled me in for a kiss which I immediately reciprocated.
"Better than okay..." he smiled and I did as well.
"See you tonight?" He asked making my smile slightly flatten.
"Can't....the group...." He nodded but I could tell he was disappointed and slightly upset. I have been hanging with the group a lot but I won't see them after high school, it isn't fair to Luca neither since I might be moving away for school which means I'll barely see him as well.
"How about we go on a date tomorrow? It's Saturday and I get off around 6:30pm..." Luca smiled and nodded kissing me. I happily reciprocated before telling him bye and leaving his office. The second I walked into my dorm room Sofi and the girls were on my bed all staring at me. I frowned slightly showing my confusion.
"Look what came!" Elena said as she pulled out a few envelopes.
"The mail?" I said as a matter of fact walking deeper into the room.
"No dummy! Acceptance letter!" Delilah pulled me onto my bed to sit and they all waited eagerly for me to open them all. I opened them all as they sat there waiting.
"So?!" Sofi asked making me look up from the papers.
"Uh...I got in...to all of them..." it was surprising and as they all celebrated I felt like shit seeing as how now I had various options.
Elena and Delilah were going to Columbia, Sofi was going to some fashion school in Paris, the boys were all going to the same Ivy League except for Eric who was going to MIT. Ethan could of gotten into MIT as well but he said he didn't want to stress with school anymore. I got into all the schools they were going to, well except for fashion since I didn't apply. Elena and Delilah were going crazy talking about how we'll stay together though I was honestly thinking about MIT. I mean I can't believe I even fucking got in. Luca came to mind and I knew I had to tell him my options.
We can make long distance work right? I mean we technically are doing that now. Fuck me.
"Why aren't you happy?" Elena asked sitting down.
"I...I'm happy I got in it's just...Luca and the distance...and if I'm being honest guys I actually really want to go to MIT..." I said awkwardly and slowly.
"Wait you applied to MIT?" Sofi asked making me nod.
"You have to go!" She said with a huge smile.
"But what abou—"
"Lyla shut up." Delilah said with a smile.
"It doesn't matter where we go it matters that you do what you want, you applied there for a reason yeah? Well fall through with it!" Elena said with a huge smile.
"Really?" They all smiled and pulled me in for a group hug.
"Yes really!" Elena chimed when we pulled back.
"What about Luca?" I asked softly with a slight frown and they all smiled sharing looks in between them.
"If he really loves you like he says, you guys will make it work." I smiled and nodded. We hugged again and I thought about how I'd break it to him.
"I want a hug too what the fuck?!" Eric spoke making us pull back. I laughed slightly and he came up to us pulling us into a group hug once again. The rest of the gang came in and sat down wherever.
"Why are we hugging?" Eric asked once we pulled back.
"Lyla here got into MIT." Sofi said with a big proud smile.
"Really?!" Eric asked and the rest of the guys looked our way with a big smile...Ethan smiling never seized to amaze me.
"We're going to school together!" He said as he hugged me. The guys came to us and we grouped hug with everyone. I felt like I couldn't breathe but I didn't mind.
Once we pulled back I honestly wanted to tell Luca right away. Everyone was seated around the room making small talk and laughing before I chimed in after my smile wore off from watching them.
Ugh I'm going to miss this.
"You guys won't mind hanging without me right?" I asked and they all shook their head.
"Actually..." Eric spoke awkwardly.
"Alex wanted to go on a date so this works out." He shrugged and I smile.
"Where to?" I asked raising a brow teasing him.
"Noña!" He said as he blushed and ran out of the room making us laugh.
"I wouldn't mind hanging with Olivia, we did have plans to hang later on so works for me." Elena shrugged and I smiled as she left.
"Who else has date plans?" I asked looking around with a smile on my lips. They all shared a look before walking out and Sofi went to her bed grabbing her laptop. I laughed seeing as how they all wanted to be with their partners.
And honestly so did I.
