Normal Perspective:
The bright blue sky was all around them as Dreadwing and Skyquake flew above the land below.
The two were silent, lost in their own thoughts, for it was the first time in years that the two seekers were together again; awake, alive, and whole.
They flew for hours in the skies, thankful that they weren't coming across any Decepticon activity. Eventually, they arrived at an area that Skyquake was familiar with, landing at the highest point of it and transforming next to each other, looking out at the canyon.
The canyon they had arrived at was the very one Skyquake had been in stasis at, and it had also been the one in which he had perished by the servos of the Autobots, and was subsequently buried there until Michael had changed that.
Dreadwing had never been there before during his time on the planet, but he seemed to understand that this place was one of importance, even if it held bad moments for Skyquake.
They looked around, spotting the carin of which the green seeker had once been buried, and where his fate would've forever been sealed had Michael not intervened.
They were silent for a while, with neither knowing what to say to break the ice between them.
Skyquake looked at his twin, and spotted his insignia on his chassis, and he looked at it intently, not because of the fact Dreadwing had an insignia and he didn't, or that it was of a specially designed insignia to show a high rank.
No, it was because it was a Decepticon insignia.
Skyquake looked down, thinking.
They both had sworn their loyalty to the Decepticon cause, but were not fully committed to the cause, for they had sworn loyalty to Megatron specifically.
For his twin to go back on that loyalty was very unlike him.
Between them, Skyquake was more prone and quick to anger more than Dreadwing, who was the more calm and cool-headed one of the two.
Finally, Skyquake broke the silence.
"Why did you do it, brother?" He asked quietly. "Why did you betray our one true Lord and Master and join with those we swore to fight against? The ones who brought about my demise...?"
Dreadwing was silent for a moment, then spoke up.
"The Autobots may have been the ones to cause your demise, dear brother," He said quietly. "but they were also the ones who saved you from a worse fate, and brought you back."
He paused, then spoke again.
"After your demise, I came to Earth to pay allegiance to who I thought was our one true Lord and Master, and I had attempted to avenge you, but I failed, and gave up, in turn becoming Megatron's Second-in-Command for a time, but recently, Megatron's true nature came to light, and I had initially intended on killing the one who I had thought desecrated your resting place, but I came to find out that you had been rescued by one of the Autobots, who wanted to bring you back to life, preventing you from falling victim to a fate worse than death. The Autobot who saved you appealed to me, as Optimus once had, and I accepted, in honor of giving you a chance to live once more."
Skyquake was silent, thinking, and his anger rose.
How could his twin go against their one true Lord and Master just because of the Autobots saving him?
Why did they even save him when they were the ones who killed him to begin with?
He wanted to yell at him for it. To get mad at him. But he couldn't bring himself to.
He couldn't get mad at his twin.
"What was my original fate before the Autobot intervened?" Skyquake asked.
"You would've been brought back as an undead being, only to be trapped in an alternate realm after an accident between two Groundbridges, according to what Michael told me." Dreadwing explained.
Skyquake just sat there, looking down at the carin that his body had once been buried in, and inwardly shuddered, but outwardly remained still, completely shocked by such a fate, and realized that the grayish-green mech that had been with Optimus and Bumblebee that day had been this 'Michael' that his twin had mentioned, and secretly, and silently, thanked him for saving him, but didn't know how to feel about any of it.
The two seekers were silent again for a while, as Skyquake processed everything.
Then, the green seeker spoke again.
"What happened that made you decide to leave the Decepticons?" He asked quietly.
Dreadwing remained silent for a moment, then spoke just as quietly.
"Starscream had been the one who was going to bring you back as a Terrorcon, but his attempt failed since you had been previously rescued by Michael, so the only ones brought back had been a few Vehicon troopers that had been buried in the same tomb as you had once been. Megatron had been willing to bring him back into the ranks, even though Starscream going back had been a ploy set up by Michael. When Starscream revealed your supposed fate, Megatron told him to keep it hidden from everyone aboard the Warship, and especially from me. Even if he had been wrong about your fate, keeping such information from me was an unforgivable act, and the Decepticons became a cause I no longer wished to be part of."
Skyquake didn't say anything in response to this, and remained silent, thinking.
He, and Dreadwing, had been fiercely loyal to Megatron since they became Decepticons, and while they hadn't been fully committed to the cause, they were fully committed to serving Megatron, but now, he didn't know what to think.
For Megatron to disregard him like that, and to not at all be against the desecration of what would've been his tomb for a while until he had been cast into another realm as an undead being, and instead keep it hidden away in secret.
How the Pit could he do that to one of his most loyal followers?
He then thought about the Autobots, and what they had done to him, putting him in such a position in the first place, but then he thought about what they had done for him, by giving him a new life, and saving him from a fate worse than death.
He then remembered when he had said he would never side with a Prime, but now that Dreadwing was an Autobot, he wasn't sure if he had a choice.
He wanted to remain with his twin, and follow him in whatever choice he made.
He had considered going back to Megatron and serving him once more now that he was alive, but now, he didn't want to go back to him.
Not if he was going to treat his most loyal of followers in such a disgraceful manner.
Megatron wasn't his true Lord and Master like he had thought, and he wasn't going to follow him anymore.
It was a cause he no longer wished to be part of, and Megatron was a leader he no longer wished to follow.
He then thought about the Autobots.
Despite being in their company for only a few hours, he had seen how accepting and kind they had been, for he had seen a few familiar faceplates among them, specifically Breakdown and Starscream, as well as Dreadwing, and realized that they most likely accepted them to their side and didn't turn them away, despite them before former enemies.
They seemed to care, and felt that they wouldn't do something as cruel as what Megatron did to them.
He didn't want to join them, but he didn't really have many options.
If he had to follow Optimus in order to remain with Dreadwing and to not go back to Megatron, so be it.
Skyquake didn't need to say anything in order to get the message across to Dreadwing, for the blue seeker already understood.
They were twins, after all, and they had a bond that could never be broken.
They then spoke up at the same time.
"Thank you for standing by me."
They weren't surprised at the simultaneous sentence, and instead smiled to themselves.
In complete sync with one another, the two jumped, transformed, and took to the skies, heading back to the hangar.
Skyquake had made his choice.
----
The two arrived at the base, and Dreadwing led his twin to the bunker to continue talking. As they headed to their now-shared room, Skyquake stopped by the sparring room, and listened, hearing the sound of two mechs training. He looked into the room, seeing Optimus and Orion training.
He watched the two train for a few minutes, then they stopped. The two then talked for a few minutes, then Orion walked over and hugged a surprised Optimus, who smiled and hugged him back.
Skyquake could help but be reminded of his twin, and the bond they shared. Optimus and Orion weren't twins like they were, but he could see the strong bond between them, even if it was just starting out as such.
Despite himself, he smiled slightly, and realized that he may have been wrong about the Prime, and that his fierce loyalty could be redirected elsewhere, in a way.
He watched as they broke their hug, and Optimus looked up to see the seeker smiling, and gave a small smile back.
"Prime?" He asked. "I realize that I might have been wrong about you, and I would like to take you up on the offer you gave me a while ago."
Optimus smiled.
"Dreadwing has shown himself to be a loyal, and capable fighter, and you have as well in your time fighting in the field, even if it was on the opposite side. I believe you will be a great addition to our cause, and so, I would like to welcome you to Team Prime."
As much as he didn't want to, the seeker smiled slightly, and nodded, then he left the room. Continuing on his path to his and Dreadwing's room, he smiled to himself.
Perhaps siding with a Prime wouldn't be so bad after all.

A/N: Another 'in-between' chapter is now done. Not much to say here, but I feel that I could've done better with this one, and put more depth into it, but I think it's alright. What do you guys think of the chapter? Let me know in the comments!
Next Chapter: Jetfire and Starscream go for a flight, and talk about their standing point on what kind of relationship they now have between them, or if they even have one at all.
