Will was laying on his stomach on his bed looking through a shoebox full of old photos, he came across one of young him and Mike sitting on swings. But that was when Mike stilled cared about him, he thought about all the fun times they had and started to feel hot tears streaming down his face. He rolled onto his back still clutching the picture. He was so focused on the sadness he didn't hear his bedroom door open.
"Will?" He heard a quiet voice questioned
He heard footsteps approaching the bed but didn't move.
"What do you want Mike?"
Mike sat down on the bed next to will
"What's wrong?"
Will sighed but didn't respond they sit there till Mike noticed the picture Will was holding. He carefully took the photo from wills hand and studied it closely, the two of them sitting on the swings facing the sunset while holding hands.
"Mike do you still care?"
"What do you mean?"
"That day on the swings you promised that you would always care for me and be there for me"
Will asked sitting up
Mike looks at wills tear stained face and feels his eyes start to water.
"I'm sorry" he choked as his tears started to fall
Tears start falling from wills eyes again. Mike scoots closet and pulls Will into a tight comforting hug.
