Dad rushed into my room and quietly closed the door, then breathed a sigh of relief. "Dad? What the hell are yo-" I started to ask him but he interrupted me, "Ssshhhhh! She'll hear you!" he harshly whispered. I furrowed my brows, "Are you talking about Mom? Why are you hiding from her?" I whispered back. He looked a little tired and came over to flop on his back on my bed, "You're not going to want to hear this, but your Mom has been insatiable during this pregnancy. I love sex as much as the next demon but I'm actually a little tired and I just abandoned Meliodas to be used by her." I giggled at him, "It can't be that much, can it? You're immortal, Dad and you became immortal with a young body there's no way your body can't handle it." He scowled at me, "I get that you're a teenager and that's probably all you think about these days but your Mom has been wanting it every single day multiple times a day and even if I'm immortal and have extremely fast regeneration...getting off that much still takes a toll, man!"
I couldn't help but laugh at him, "So you abandoned Uncle Mel just now?" He nodded with his eyes closed, "This is his baby, it's only fair he be thrown into the fire when we're both exhausted." I grinned at him, "If I know Uncle Mel, he's going to get payback and if I know Mom...which I do pretty well...she's going to look for you as soon as possible so you're just going to have to suck it up, Dad." He sighed heavily, "I love fucking your Mom but there's only so many times I can get off in a day without wanting to pass out." I scowled at him, "Okay, now you're being gross. That's my Mom you're talking about." He turned and grinned at me, "Your Mom's hot, I'm surprised you've never noticed others staring at her besides me and Meliodas." My bedroom door suddenly flung open and Uncle Mel rushed in in his Assault Mode, sweaty, and with a fresh bite mark on his neck. He grabbed Dad by the collar, "You little shit," he growled, grinning maliciously. I couldn't help but laugh at them both as Dad did his best to get out of Uncle Mel's grasp but I'd learned in Uncle Mel's Assault Mode you were pretty much doomed to his whims.
"Come on, Mel! I have to rule the realm and-" Dad started to protest as he was being dragged away. "You can't rule the realm from Amai and Asta's room and Az has it handled. Now get in Executioner Mode, that's what she wants right now," he growled at his younger brother. I cackled from my spot on the bed, even with how old they were and everything they'd been through in life they still acted like teenagers themselves sometimes especially when it came to interacting with each other. The amount of times I'd watched them play rock paper scissors was way too high and Dad always stubbornly played rock which Uncle Mel always took advantage of. Dad was holding on tightly to my door frame when I heard Astaroth walk up, "What the hell are you doing Dad? Uncle Zel?" Uncle Mel was still in Assault Mode so he didn't give a shit about sugar coating anything, "Your Uncle Zel is trying to hide so he doesn't have to fuck your Mom since she's been wanting it constantly lately. But she wants us both right now so he's just going to have to put his big boy Demon King pants on." I heard Astaroth start laughing his ass off then Dad suddenly lost his grip on the doorway, "You're dead to me Asta!" I heard him growl as he was dragged off. "You should appreciate my Mom's willingness to sleep with either of you demons!" he yelled after them then came in the room still laughing so hard he was crying.
"Our Dads are idiots sometimes," he giggled, wiping the tears from his face. I grinned, "I was just thinking the same thing. It's hard to believe they've executed two Gods and fought in two wars when they're trying to hide from Mom right now just because they're tired." He giggled and grinned back, "And they're the ones that lecture us if you're gonna have sex with a girl, you better be okay with having a kid. They knew what they were getting into, that's how the 4 of us came about. That's what they get for thinking with their dicks all the time," he couldn't help but cackle again. Azriel came in our room, "Have either of you seen Dad?" he asked, we both lost it instantly. "He and Dad are a little indisposed right now with Mom," Astaroth replied. Azriel frowned at us, "You laugh but Iseldis was like this with me and Niya with Ror'an so I hope you experience this one day so you have a little more sympathy for Dad and Uncle Mel," he scolded.
We both stopped laughing instantly, "You mean it's not just Mom?" I asked. Azriel shook his head, "Nope. Though Mom seems a little extra this time around. I suggest taking a human woman as a lover if you don't want to experience this. Apparently they're too tired during their pregnancy most of the time. Though you really can't, humans die if they give birth to vampires so guess you're shit outta luck if you want kids one day." He yanked us up off my bed by our shirt collars and started pulling us towards our door, "What're you doing, Azy?" I asked him, struggling but he was stronger than both of us combined. "I need to talk to Dad so you're gonna go knock on their door because Mom babies you two and she won't bite your head off like she might with me," he explained. Astaroth groaned, "But you're her first baby, why would she do that to you?" He grinned back at us, "Oh, I don't think she would with me either. I just think you should feel the terror that she might since you're laughing at Dad and Uncle Mel."
He stopped at our parent's door and pushed us closer. We couldn't hear anything, thankfully, but that could've just meant they were sleeping. "Go on," Azriel pushed us both again. I hesitantly knocked on the door, "Mom? Dad? Uncle Mel?" We heard shuffling then footsteps towards the door, Dad cracked the door open. He looked pissed, his black and red eyes glared at us, "What?" he hissed. "Azy needs to talk with you," I whispered. He exhaled sharply through his nose, "Hang on." A few seconds later he came back, quietly closing the door. He didn't bother throwing on clothes except a pair of shorts. Azriel and I may have looked identical to him but I guess I'd never really paid attention how much more muscular he was than either of us until now. His eyes were still black and red and his demon mark on his face, "What's up, Az?" he asked quietly, pushing the three of us away from his room.
"You okay, Dad?" I asked him, he was still agitated. "I'm fine. But your Mom just fell asleep when you knocked on the door so I'd like for her to stay that way for a few hours," he answered, his voice full of irritation. Azriel looked at him sympathetically, "Sorry Dad. But Dezran and Ror'an just informed me that there's been some activity near the portal to Britannia. It seems Arthur's had some Holy Knights setup there for an ambush the next time we try to enter." Dad pinched the bridge of his nose, "How are the new recruits doing? There's about 50 in total now, right?" Azriel nodded, "Yeah. They're all fairly competent in martial arts and weapons now. Most have grasped magic too." He sighed, looking back at his bedroom, "I can't send Meliodas with Ali being pregnant with his kid. I'm not worried he'd die but she'd be pissed if I sent him. I'm not sending you or Ror'an, you have new babies of your own. Do you think Dezran can handle it himself?" Azriel nodded, "I think so. If we attack them at night we may have an advantage. Or, we could wait until we absolutely need to go to Britannia." Dad shook his head, "If Arthur was able to trap Meliodas and Ali, he's likely able to seal off the portal or even come here himself. I'm not having either of those happen. I'll go with Dezran, but I'm leaving the seal behind. It should be quick work that way."
"Are you sure Mom will be okay with you going?" Azriel asked. "She won't, but I'm not letting Arthur think he can do what he fucking pleases. He hasn't fought me since the Holy War when he had Excalibur and even then he was still killed. His knights will be nothing," he replied, running his hands through his hair. It was messy for once, making me grin. "Dad, what if Asta and I come? We could convert the knights...I know it's technically against what we said we'd do but..." I suggested. He looked like he was considering it but ultimately shook his head, "If I let you two go and something happened, Az would be on the throne because your Mom would quite literally kill me." Astaroth huffed, "We're not little kids, Uncle Zel. We can handle ourselves." Dad smirked at him, "Come at me, then. Right now." He relaxed and stopped using his demonic power, he looked a little more tired now.
Astaroth grinned mischievously, he was cocky and we all knew it. Dad stood still, dropping his defense so much he even put his hands in his pockets, annoying my younger brother. Astaroth's demon mark appeared as he rushed at Dad, going for a frontal assault with his fist. Dad didn't even try to get out of the way, he grabbed Asta's fist in his hand and stopped him as if he were catching a ball that had been gently tossed. A shockwave from the impact was produced, making Azriel and I stumble a bit since we weren't expecting it. "If I can catch your fist this easily without even using my power, you're not ready to fight in a war," Dad commented quietly. Astaroth yanked his hand away, annoyed, "Weren't you and Dad fighting the goddess clan around our age already?" Dad ruffled his hair, smiling softly, "We were and I'm glad you don't have to grow up that way. Meliodas and I ate and breathed training and battle. We didn't get to be kids, Asta. It's not all it's cracked up to be to constantly be fighting. It sounds glamorous but you've never watched the light leave someone's eyes. We were cold and ruthless because we had to be, if you weren't you'd go crazy. I know you want to help, but staying safe and being a kid helps your Dad, Mom, and I's peace of mind."
Astaroth frowned for a few more seconds then smiled at him, "Okay, Uncle Zel. I'll stay here, but I'm going to start training harder so I can beat you." Dad smirked at him, "I've got hundreds of years on you buddy, good luck with that." He looked at Azriel, "Let Dezran know he and I will be leaving tonight to clear out those knights. We'll take the most skilled vampires with us as well, 5 or so." He ruffled my hair, "Make sure Asta doesn't sneak out again," he grinned at me then went back in his room, hopefully to sleep before going to fight tonight. Azriel left to go inform Dezran. "If you sneak out again, Asta, I'll kill you," I warned him. He shoved my shoulder playfully, "I only went a few months ago because I was worried about Mom and Dad. Uncle Zel, Dezran, and the others know there's a threat this time. They'll be alright." I put my hands behind my head, a habit I picked up from Uncle Mel, "So do you think we're gonna have a baby brother or baby sister? A sister would be nice, I don't know if I can deal with another you," I grinned at him.
He smiled softly, surprisingly not taking the bait, "It's a girl." "How do you know?" I asked, staring blankly at his strangely peaceful, happy face. "I can feel it. Her energy's more like Mom and Niya's and less like the men in the family," he explained. I looked at him in awe, it was crazy to me he could pick up such subtle differences. "Dhampir too?" I asked. He shrugged, "That I can't tell. Not that it matters, it's not like it was when Azy's powers manifested. If she is, she is...no big deal." I nodded, smiling appreciatively at the life our parents had made for us, "You're right."
