"Been quite a while since I've sat here, huh?" Eda sat in front of Principal Bumps desk with a smirk. She took a pencil out of a mug and reclined back into her chair, placing the pencil in her top lip and she put her feet on top of Bumps desk. Directly next to his name nameplate. Unamused, he stared at her shoes, then at her.
"I gotta admit it's extra weird without you yelling at me for picking fights or stealing"
"I can easily change that." Principal Bump said, casting a spell to magically shove Eda over her chair.
Eda grunted while Principal Bump fixes his desk, "What are you doing here, Edalyn?"
With her hair in a mess than usual, Eda sat back up and glared at him. "I want to-- Prft!" She blew a strand of hair away from her face. "I want to enroll my apprentices, Luz and YN, at Hexside. And before you get all judgy-"
"That's not a bad idea." Principal Bump replied.
"You no-good" Eda started before realizing what he said. "Wait, really?"
"I think the student body could learn a lot from having such exchange students. Plus why not let a witch such as the boy attend this school? Though he trespassed, his magical power is something I haven't seen. He even reminds me of Yuhria.... Though I don't know if his magical power only comes from this bracelet." Principal Bump said, mumbling the Last Part as he walked over to a cabinet.
Eda grinned in response.
"But before I even consider that, there's a lot to be answered for."
With his back turned, Eda reclined on the desk again. Not even looking back, Principal Bump magically turns her upside down as he pulls a stack of files out of the cabinet.
"Oh right. Yeah. I that abomination incident." Eda said, righting herself up on the chair. "What do I have to do? Apologize for them?"
"Oh, l'm not talking about Luz and Yn." Principal Bump corrected. "I'm talking about the necrotic experiments, the graffiti, the scams, the cheating, Miss Jenkinmeyer's teeth."
As he continued on, Eda sank down in the chair.
"The trouble you caused when you were here, Eda."
He droppedhe pile of paper and books onto the desk. Eda apprehensively looks at the page on top of the files, which reads, PERMANENT RECORD-
- EDALYN CLAWTHORNE.
"Huh.I thought there'd be more." Eda admited after a few seconds of silence.

"And this is where we play the sport." Gus gesturing to the pitch below them. There were two basketball hoops in either side. A girl was in the field. She tried to run at the ball, but was picked up by a griffin.
"I hate this game!" Skara screams, getting carried away by the griffin. The griffin drops her into one
of the basketball hoops and a horn blares. Gus and Luz politely applaud.
"I like this game." YN smirked. "But was exactly is this game?" He asked, still confused about what exactly the point of this game was.
Out of nowhere, a school guard comes near the stands and sniffs, looking around.
Gus noticed the guard and quickly dragged Luz away, running off with Yn in tow.
'This is getting annoying'

"Ooh. What's in here?" Luz questioned, stopping at room with windows.
"The Plant Homeroom." Gus said, coming to a halt.
"So is this like a Greenhouse or something?" Yn tilted his head, looking inside the room through the window.
Inside the room were various students dressed in green tending to the plants. A carnivorous plant opened up its maw and ate up a nearby student. Willow quickly rushed over and tickled the plant's stem. It laughed and spit Amelia back up. She gave Willow a thumbs-up, covered in yellow drool.
"Oh hey. It's Willow." Yn said, waving at her.
"Willow, hey!" Luz beams and waves at Willow through the window. The said girl turns around and smiled, waving at Luz and Yn. That is until, Gus poked his head up through the window.
"Hi"
Willow's face fell and she shook her head. Gus nervously chuckled and pulled Luz away.
Yn stayed for a few Seconds, and looked confused at Willows frown, glancinf between the two with a
confused expression. 'Did they get into a fight or something...?'
"Are you coming Yn?" Gus asked.
"Yeah, I'm coming. Don't worry." The teen nodded and quickly caught up to them, in front of the Illusion Track Homeroom.
"And this is where I spend my time. The Illusion Track Homeroom." Gus gestured into a
classroom full of mirrors.
The professor was going around and evaluating three students' illusions
which coincidentally was the Blight twins and another student.
She walks up to Emira and Emira doubles the length of her legs. The professor checks her off the
list and moves on to Edric.
He changes his face, outfit, and hair style to a handsome version of himself.
"Huh." Yn watched the twins with crossed arms. He still didn't know what exactly he should think of them.
Smiling the Professor moved to the last one.
She was shaking as she nervously casted a spell,
accidentally removing all of her facial features. She mumbled in panic, grabbing her face while the professor sighs, drawing a spell circle and
returning her face.
The student inhales deeply.
"I knew I liked Illusions." Yn mutter, with a smiled as he looked at the sight.
"Wait, if you're here, who is that?" Luz asked, pointing across the hall. Inside the room, was another Gus sitting in class and writing down something.
"Yeah..Probably an illusion." Yn guessed with a shrug.
"You are right!" Gus said. "It takes
notes for me when l'm not around."
"So it's like you are Not skipping class even if you do." Yn said, nodding to himself. "Could be usefuld.
Gus illusions held up a paper reading l'm not paying attention which makes Yn chuckle. He
points at it, silently laughing.
"He doesn't always do what he's told." Gus frowned, marching over to his illusion.
"Wow, Gus. You're good." Luz said with an impressed smile.
"Yeah. I moved upa couple grades." Gus nonchalantly said. His watch screamed again and he poked it, checking the time. "Oh! Time for the H.A.S. meeting."
With that, the three ran off until Gus returned, making his illusion nervous. He mimes decapitation and casually walks away.
Gulping, the illusion started paying close attention to he class.

"Humans, humans! Humans, humans!" The students chanted, banging their fists on the desk in unison.
"Human Appreciation Society.." Gus smiled as he entered the room. He then twanged the paper clip and pointed to the doorway. "It is my distinct pleasure to introduce to you..."
Luz moonwalks into the doorway, spinning around and almost falling but she quickly recovered, taking
her hood off.
Yn walks in after her with an almost
bored expression and lazily pulled his hood down.
"Luz and Yn, the human experts!." Gus said, making Yn smile slightly at him.
YN was relieved that he
didn't tell anyone else about his halfling status and He was planning on keeping that way, for a while.
All of the other club members squealed in excitement except for Mattholomule.
"Such showmanship."
"So cool..."
"She's horrifying."
You glare at the Bard Track Student, causing him to flinch a Bit.
Sighing Yn approached the desk with Luz. He raised an eyebrow, noticing Mattholomule as he nervously fidgets in his seat.
"Luz, Yn, will you inspect the items?" Gus requested, gesturing to the random stuff littered on the desk.
"Oh, yeah. They are fake." Yn said deadpanned, looking at the 'Artifacts' with s blank expression.
Everyone else gasped while Yn glanced at Mattholomule. The Boy seemed even more nervous than before. Suddenly he knocked all of the stuff from the table and jumped in front of them.
"Alright! I admit it. They are all fake!" Mattholomule admitted with a little guilt in his voice. "But only because I am new here at Hexside and I thought if I was important enough, people would like me... But I've caused enough drama."
Yn looked at him with a raised eyebrow while the others gave him looks of sadness an empathy. He saw this kind of act before, but before he could voice his concerns, Mattholomule spoke up again.
"So, I'll go. I'm sorry." He said, bowing his head.
"Hey, man. It's okay. You're only human." Luz smiled, before realizing what she said. "Well, you know what I mean."
"Mattholomule, you aren't alone. You have a place here in the H. A. S." Gus said, gesturing to the classroom as the otherd cheered out their agreements.
"You're not alone."
"We admire your honesty"
"You're one of us."
"Thanks, guys. I knew you'd understand." Mattholomule smiled at the people crowding around him.
Meanwhile, Yn quietly observed from the back, squinting his eyes at Gus and Matthomule.
Warning bells were going off in his head but hier didn't know which he should deal with first, Gus or Mattholomule.
'This whole situation is just a bunch of bullshit.' Yn thoughty pinching the bridge of his nose.

"I don't wanna do this!" Eda whined, gritting her teeth in frustration.
"There's the whiny rebel teen I remember!" Principal Bump said, patting her on the back and handing her a mop with a smirk. "You'll need this to clean up al the hexed graffiti you left us. Good luck."
"Meh!" Eda sticked out her tongue to him and turned back to the graffiti covered lockers. With a sigh she put the mop in the bucket and attempted to wipe away graffiti on lockers that. The graffiti avoided the mop.
She tried again, it moved again. She moved her mop slower and the graffiti moved away slower in response
Taking a chance, she tried to wipe the entire row of lockers, only succeeding in making all the graffiti combine and now read, "MOTHER NOOOO!!!".
Frustrated, she slamed the mop against that only for it to move out of the way. Eda groaned, already knowing how long this would take.

With the meeting for H.A.S coming to an end, the students walked out of the room while saying farewells to Luz.
Yn was fidgetting around with
Rubik's Cube and waved at the leaving members. He was fully determined to solve it, which wasn't that easy since Gus messed around with it pretty much.
"Thanks for coming"
"Come back soon."
"Thank you."
Mattholomule slowly approached Gus and Luz, rubbing his head. "Hey, Augustus, Luz, thank you for being so forgiving."
"We've al been the new kid before. Right, Gus? Yn?" Luz said, turning to them.
"Yeah." Gus replied while Yn just hummed, uncaring as He played around with the Rubik's Cube, determined to solve it.
Mattholomule smiles, "Well, I just have one thingto say..."
All of a sudden the door banged open and some school guards stepoed in, holding up their hooks.
"There she is!" Mattholomule pointed at Luz and pulls out her wanted poster. "She's the intruder!
The school guard sniffed and looks at Luz.
"Trouble"
"No, it's fine. The ban's been lifted. Tell 'em, Gus." Luz said before being dragged away. "Gus! Tell
them!"
Mattholomule smirked as he turned to a seething Gus, "Oh, who's the liar now, Augustus?"
"So I was right." Yn said from the corner of the room, making both of the boys tensed up in response.
Having forgotten he was still with them, they both turned to him with varying degrees of fear and horror on their faces.
E/C eyes stared blankly at Gus, a faint orange light flickering in them as he looked over to Mattholomule.
He shook his head and walked past them, putting the solved rubiks cube on the table. With a sigh he looked back at Gus. "I am disappointed in you, Augustus." And with that he left the classroom, to safe Luz from whatever was about to happen to her.
It somehow scared Gus more to see Yn being that calm about the situation, then if he were obviously pissed off.

"Maybe l've been too hard on Gus... I mean, what trouble could they get into?" Willow thought outloud as she watered a plant.
"Help!"Someone screams, making Willow and the plant turn to the door.
Through the window, they saw Luz being dragged off.
"I don't even learn here!" She screamed
"Luz!" Willow said, rushing to the door.
"Where are you taking me?" Luz questioned, looking back at the hall monitor.
"Detention."
"Oh. That won't be so bad, right?" Luz said, nervously grinning.
Willow went to run after them but someone crashed into her, making her fall to the floor.
"Ouch.." She muttered as she rubbed her head and looked up to the Person who ran into her. "Yn?"
"Willow!" He quickly helped her Up back to her feet. "I'd like to talk, but I gotta save Luz from whatever will happen to her." He said, quickly running after Luz and the school guard again. But this time Willow quickly followed.
"She is being thrown into detention" She explained, running next to Yn. "But why? What happened?"
"Gus lied to us and probably didn't think that the Person who he had a clear rivalry with, would out him. And now Luz is being punished for his mistake!" Yn glared as he continued running. The scales under his eyes slowly turned into a faint purple and were now clearly visible for everyone who looked at him.
"Then let's get Luz out of there!" Willow said determined, ignoring the scales in Yns face. She would ask him about this later.

"What. Did you. Do?" Gus glares at Mattholomule, his small body trembling from anger.
Mattholomule smirks and whined in a high pitch, mocking tone, "Ah, boo-hoo. I'm sorry. "I am the
new kid."I want friends." He grinned and returns back to his normal voice. "Ha! No. I want power. And I want drama. And I got one of those right now. So, what are you gonna do, Mr. President?" Mattholomule walked up to Gus, making the shorter
boy step back.
Gus glared at him and raised his fist
up, preparing to punch him. "Executive action." He said before grabbing the bell's tongue, making it scream.
Water was launched from the bell, soaking Gus and Mattholomule. Soon enough, a school guard came by and hooked them, taking them away.
"ButI didn't pull the alarm! It was Augustus! Are you even listening to me? I demand justice!"
Mattholomule protested as they are dragged away by a hall monitor. As they pass, Willow and Yn peeked around a corner.
The two boys were soon brought to the door leading into detention.
It growls and opens it toothy maw, allowing for Gus and Mattholomule to
be toss inside. The door lets out a growl before closing once more.
"Wait!" Mattholomule rusheed over to the door and bangs his fists on it. "Get me outta here! Open up!"
"Luz!" Gus said, looking around.
"Gus! You said the ban was lifted!" Luz shouted, peeking up from the rock she was hiding behind.
"Well.." Gus tried to stand, but the ground begins to crack open at his feet. He stumbled back as the crack
widened until nearly the whole room was a hole.
Down the hole are various teeth and reptilian - like eyes covering the walls with blue tendrils and pods
scattering about.
Inside of the pods were students, floating in an inanimate state.

At the cafeteria, the doors swung open and a cloud of fog rollef in. Eda enters while carrying a bag over her shoulder, ghosts falling onto the floor behind her and purple goo in her hair.
"There." She dumped the writhing bag on Principal Bump's feet "The girls' changing room is ghost free."
"Are you ready to give up?" Principal Bump asks, taking a ghost out of Eda's hair, with a smirk in His face.
"You've barely scratched the surface."
Eda growls, turning away from him. She saw two students sitting at a table.
"No, like this." Bo said. She summoned a ball of fire, which turned into a snowball that splats onto the table.
Skara gasps before doing the same thing.
She managas to replicate what Bo did and then smiled at her, pulling her into a hug.
"Friendship is the real magic."
"They're just as bad as Luz. She'd love it here. Yn isnt as friendsy but will probably enjoy it too." Eda sighed before smirking and turning back to Principal Bump. "All
right. What's next, Bumpikins?"
In response, Principal Bump grins and holds up a plunger. Eda groaned, her smirk becoming strained.

Yn and Willow looked around carefully, before swiftly moving to the big door.
Willow started to lift the big bar, holding the door shut, while Yn looked at the door.
"What kind of detention room is this? This looks like some kind of magical tomb!" He exclaimed, gesturing to the door.
"It's almost the same." Willow replied, letting the bar drop back into place. "That won't Work...any other ideas?"
Yn looked at the door and then and his bracelet hand. "I might have one... But I don't know if this will even work.."
"Well, do it!" Willow commanded.
Yn nodded and got closer to the door, placing his bracelet-hand on it. 'Please Work...' He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He felt a sharp and burning pain, shooting through his body, as the scales on his arm turned into a weak shade of purple.

"How is this detention? This is a death sentence!" Luz shouted, looking down at the pit.
"I don't know! I've never been in detention before!" Gus shouted Back, clinging to the walls.
"Welcome to my world. Believe it or not, at my old school I was in detention plenty of times." Mattholomule said, moving over to Gus.
"That isn't hard to believe. You're kind of a jerk!" Luz retorted.
"Well, down in detention, this jerk is king." Mattholomule stated with a grin as He turned to Gus.
"So, if you wanna get out, you better do exactly what I say."
He walked forward and looked down the hole. "But first, before anything else, we gotta--"
All of a sudden, a skull - faced snake rose out of the hole and spits out a blue tendril that wrapped around Mattholomule's ankle.
"Already?" He grunted before screaming as he got dragged down into the depths of the pit.
"Mattholomule!" Luz cried out, before turning to Gus with a frown. "You lied to us. You lied about the ban Why?"
"I was afraid. I acted stupid." Gus admitted, looking down.
"Yeah, you did!" Luz added.
"Being younger than everyone is hard." Gus said as he carefully made his way over to Luz. "You're overlooked. Ignored. But at the H. A. S. I mattered. I could make sure no
one would ever get left behind. I didn't wanna lose that. I'm sorry."
Once he made his way to the other side, Luz puts a hand on his shoulder and smiles at him. "I get it.
just wish you told us the truth."
Gus smiled at her before it fell as they hear hisses from below as several snakes are slowly slithering up the hole.
"Let me make it up to you" Gus said, looking at you. "I've got a plan."
A snake hissed and rose out of the hole.
Luz instinctly slammed her foot against its head, knocking it back down.
"I'm in. Where do we start?" Luz asked, turning to Gus.
Gus responds by grabbing you and Luz's hands. "By leaving no one behind."
He then jumps down the hole, making Luz scream in surprise.
Fortunately, they landed on an eye and bounce, falling to the ground safely.
They quickly stood up and pulled down the pod Mattholomule's in.
"You will be a good student."
"I will be a good student."
Mattholomule repeated, eyes glazed over.
Luz tried to bite the pot to free Mattholomule, but it didn't work. "You know, it didn't taste as bad as I thought it would." She then pointed at Gus. "Oh, you're a witch. Do Magic."
"Oh, I'll use Magic." Gus smirked, pulling put the paperclip from under his cowl. He bent it Open. "Human Magic!" He exclaimed before raming the paperclip into the pot, using it to cut it open.
"Am I a good Student?" Mattholomule asked, still dazed.
Luz grunted as she picked him Up. "Oh gosh. He's so little."
Several snakes began to suround them, hissing menacingly.
"This is part of the plan, right?" Luz asked with a worried tone.
"Or the illusion of a plan." Gus said, creating several illusions of the two around the snakes.
"A genius and a wordsmith." Luz said. Gus picks up a giant bone and begins to climb out of the hole. Luz followed right after him, jumping on the eyes.
The snakes hissed, chasing the duo.
Reaching the top first, Gus toom Mattholomule from Luz and she pulls herself up. A snake rose up from the hole and Luz swiftly kicks it down when he reaches up to the top.
"Right. We're gonna have to bust down the door" Gus said, carrying the bone and then running off.
"Right behind you." Luz picked up Mattholomule and follows him as the snakes rise up from the hole, hissing.

Yn felt the pain worsen and quickly retracted his hand, opening his eyes which were now glowing in a bright orange.
Willow took some steps back and Yn punched the door. For a brief moment his arm fully turned into a scaly claw.
He shattered the door as he hit it. Luckily Luz and Gus, who were right behind that door, didn't get hit by any of the debris.

"I washed off all the graffiti. Apologized to Jenkinmeyer for stealing her teeth. Caught all the wild cerebi. Ah, we should be good" Eda said, turning to Principal Bump.
Principal Bump smileed and shool Eda's hand. "It will be very exciting to have a real human exchange student and a possible Dragon-hybrid here at
Hexside."
Edas eyes widened and she quickly looked over to Bump, who Just smiled. "And you won't tell the Emperor's Coven about this, will you?" She then nervously asked.
"No. Hexside School is safe for you three." Principal Bump. "I'm the principal, not a stooge. Consider your pupils our pupils."
The sound of something big scattering interrupted them and they looked over to the big detention room door, being shattered by Yn punching it.
Confused the teen looked at the door and then at his claw, which swiftly turned back to his normal hand, only leaving back scales the color of his skin. His eyes stopped glowing and turned back to his normal eye color and the scales on his face turned Back to His skin color. "So... That somehow worked out though I don't know how I did it..." He muttered to himself as Luz, Gus and Mattholomule walked out of the room. Mattholomule however didn't get to walk for long because He Fell face first onto the ground.
"Yn!" Luz exclaimed, quickly running up to and hugging him.
Confused he returned the hug, before smiling. "Phew. I thought something really bad happened to you."
"Hey Kids!"
They heared a familiar voice say and turned to face Eda, who smiled brightly at them.
"Guess who got you kids into Hexside!" Eda said with a smile, pumping her hands up in the air.
"What?" Luz said, still confused. The snakes rise up from behind them and hiss, surrounding them. Luz screams, clinging to Yn as he tensed up in response.
Principal Bump snapoed his fingers which causes a sudden shift in the snakes' personality and they sheepishly bows their head at him.
"Uh, sorry, Principal Bump." The snake apologized before retreating. "Sir"
"What did you two do?" Principal Bump asks, glaring at the two teens.
"Ugh, kids." Eda groans, facepalming.
Principal Bump then turns to Eda with a furious expression.
"To think that any students of yours
would be capable of doing anything but create chaos... Eda, take your students and leave! You are
now banned from this campus!"
"Didn't you already ban us though?" Yn asked, tilting his head. Luz hit him in the ribs with her elbows, causing him to breath in sharply.
"Come on, kids. Let's go." Eda sigh. Luz and Yn looked down with saddened faces as they start to
leave.
"Wait, Principal Bump!" Gus spoke up, taking a step forward. "Don't blame Luz and Yn. I told
them the ban was lifted. We were fighting over the Human Appreciation Society. I brought Luz and Yn in because I wanted to win. This is all my fault."
"If that's so, Augustus, would you be willing to accept their punishment as your own?" Principal
Bump questioned, walking over to him.
"Yes, Principal Bump. I would." Gus said without hesitation, making Yn smile at him.
"Huh. Dang, dweebus." Eda said, impressed.
"Very well." Principal Bump nodded and then turns to Luz and Yn. "In light of that, barring any more
trouble, you two shall officially be enrolled in Hexside School next semester"
At this, Luz and Yn perk up and smile at each other.
"Yes!" Yn exclaimed excitedly.
"Uh, hold on. Hold on." Eda said, putting a hand on their shoulders. She then glared at Principal Bump and gestured for him to step back. He obliges, taking exactly two steps back.
"I'm only doing this because I have faith in you." Eda said, kneeling down to them. "And I know you're too smart to fall for that One-Witch, One-
Coven nonsense. You can learn a lot from the witches here."
Eda looks over her shoulder and smirks. "And maybe teach them some of that Bad Girl Coven magic too."
"I didn't hear that." Principal Bump blankly said before turning to Gus. "As for you, I would be
saying detention right now but." He glances at the debris that was once the detention's door, "That
seems to be out of order. So, as of now, l'm removing you from the Human Appreciation Society." He declares as he takes away Gus's crown.
"Does that make me president?" Mattholomule asks, still face down on the floor.
"Impressive. Still alive. Yes, I suppose you are." Principal Bump carelessly threw the crown onto Mattholomule's head.
"Yes!" Mattholomule weakly cheers.
Principal Bump begins to walk away,
"Now, with that accomplished, Eda, we have some paperwork to fill out."
"Wait! I gotta do more stuff? Ugh!" Eda groans before softly smiling at the two and patting Luz on
the head. "You better enjoy this place, kids."
"Wanna finish off that tour?" Gus asked with a grin.
"I can show you guys what plants not to touch in the greenhouse." Willow said before smiling mischievously. "And then I can let you touch
them."
"Hell yeah!" Yn said, pumping his fist up in the air. "Even though I'm a little tired... Eh. I can power through for a few hours!"
"Let's go!" Luz yelled, slinging her arm over Yn shoulder.
They ran off, laughing while ignoring
Mattholomule groans of pain.
"Uh... hey Yn. Sorry for lying about the ban. Are you mad at me?" Gus said, nervously scratching his head.
"Nah.I forgive you, Gus." Yn gently patted his head and shrugged his shoulders. "Besides, I was more
mad at the fact you needlessly put Luz and then yourself kn danger than the lying part."
"Oh yeah!" Willow exclaimed like she just remembered something. "Yn. You have something to explain; what was that whole scaly armt thing?"
He blinked for a Moment. "Oh, yeah. It's a long story. I'll tell it during our tour." He answered smiling.

"Wow! Bump was not exaggerating. You were a terrible student." Luz said after looking at Eda's track record.
Eda's permanent record included her
letting loose a pack of feral ghosts in the girls' locker room, starting an abomination food fight at lunch, hexing the school bells to play pop songs, letting in two giant - bug like creatures in the school which destroyed classrooms, and lastly
feeding the school griffin spicy snacks until it threw up over the Grudgby field.
"Dang. It's almost as bad as mine..." YN mutters with a smirk, earning him a pillow thrown into his face by Eda.
