"Ms. L/n, we've arrived." Looking away from your clenched fingers, for the first time since you've sat in that car, your eyes quickly looked at the driver then outside the funeral home, through the tinted window. The driver let out a deep sigh, and quickly looked away from you once Sugar opened the door for you. He stretched his hand out for you, but you could only look past him and watch the building behind him, "Is this really real? Is she really....gone?" None of this felt like reality, almost like a dream, or more like a nightmare. Your grandma is actually dead now, and for some reason, this whole thing just didn't make sense. Your parents came to find out about the news, and you've never seen your mother have an episode before you. You have no idea what you're going to do after this, all you wanted was comfort, but it seems you also can't have that.
Luffy has been gone. You expected him to be in your home, but when you've come to the news from people you wish to have never met, you went straight home; hoping that Luffy was there to comfort you. But these past few days, he was nowhere to be found. The days you needed him the most, he was gone. The days you wanted to hold him were never there.
All in your mind was, "I wasted all those days with him for nothing." or, "All three of them are the same."
What did you expect, they're criminals for crying out loud. Those fools have no emotions. They only care about their lives and success. But this is also what you get, for giving a third chance to the same family. You're just like them, and you can't deny that either.
"Y/n?" Coming back to your senses, you looked at Sugar hand and slowly placed yours on top of his. He didn't waste time to squeeze your contact and helped you out of the car. "This was." Sugar closed the door behind you and led the way. This is the funeral home that you're about to enter, it hasn't really clicked in, but this place is out of nowhere. The gates surrounded the area that only held a forest inside, but a place and a few grave stones outside. This is a private property, it seems.
Sugar led you inside a room, a beautiful room, and walked you through the whole hall. This giving the chance of the people inside to look at you.
"She's here..."
"That's how she looks? She resembles her mother a lot..."
"She's gorgeous."
You were feeling very tense at the stares on you. The room seems to be eating you alive with all the teeth inside, and teeths being your family. Noticing that Sugar was walking you to the casket open, you flinched and stopped, making Sugar follow after you and give you a stare. "What is wrong, Y/n?" You're still looking at the far ahead casket, there is no way in hell that you're ready to see her after the way you last saw her. You knew she was cleaned up and all, but that image of her bloody and horrible state just kept repeating in your head. Sugar leaned towards you, bending slightly to hear your low voice whisper, "I'm not ready..." Sugar fixed his position and gave you a slight nod. He then walked towards the front and sat you down next to the worst possible human, Ben L/n.
Sugar excused himself to Ben and you then walked to the side of the room, next to Chocolate. There you finally notice all the boys, from the last encounter you had when you met them, were surrounding the room, and standing beside a wall. Looking away from them, you stared down at your feet and silently waited for the priest to start. "This is the worst possible way to finally meet you again, but nice to see you again, N/n."
"N/n? Do I know you?" Ben smiled warmly at you and bent slightly, "I apologize, I forgot you've lost your memories. I am your uncle, Ben, your fathers older brother." You knew who exactly this man was. Judging by the way he's acting, he's forcing himself to talk to you. "Oh, then is N/n my nickname?" Ben nodded, "Indeed, my brothers and I used to call you that when you were younger, a baby. I am sorry for your loss, I know Anastasia raised you and took care of you after years of age. Although, I can see she had raised a beautiful lady as such yourself." You were starting to feel creeped out, the hell does this man want from you? Even if it's a funeral, he will not give two shits to talk to you, that's the type of person he is. "I love to interrupt, but I think you're taking Y/n's attention for far too long-no?" Looking behind you, Ben glared at the awfully family face that leaned towards the two of you, this woman is none other than your aunt, Abigail D. Anfirm the oldest daughter of your grandmother. Abigail smiled towards you and leaned back to where she's seating, fixing her position. \
This woman, you know who she is, but you rarely see her back when you were little. She was always busy, especially with helping her mother with The Sins. Although, there is something that everybody knows about her--that she is the richest and classiest from both families individually. "Yuck, who gave you that suit, Mr. Ben. How dare you wear such a thing to my mothers funeral." Ben grunted, "Please, that snobby personality of yours could only pull a rich man and not an official relationship." Abigail and Ben glared at one another, while you only stare at them as if they're crazy. Abigail then looked away and stared back at you with the original smile, "Hello, Y/n, I hope it's not a bother for me to talk to you."
'It is.'
"It's fine, you are?" Abigail gasped, "I apologize for my rudeness, I am your aunt, Abigail. I'm your mothers oldest sister." Giving her a small nod gave you enough info of the type of person she is. Ben is right, the way your aunt widened her eyes when you didn't give her a proper introduction was enough for you to realize that she is a very snobby person. She quickly said her hellos and then the funeral began, this making you look forward.
The funeral took a while, and there was a lot of crying. Your aunts were the most devastated while your uncle, the only son of your grandma, was the one trying to calm all of them down. Him and three of your dad's brothers helped carry the casket outside for the burial. Now it was out in the middle of the woods near a few graves. One, looking very familiar to you.
"Grandpa..." Ben and Abigail widend their eyes at your comment, both were freaking out inside at the thought of you remembering who he even is. Ben looked down at you while he waited for the males to properly place down the casket to bring it down the hole, "Grandpa? N/n, did you remember something?" Freezing at the man's comment, you cleared your throat and looked at him, "Sorry, it just came naturally, but I do have a question. Is that my grandpa's grave?" Ben nodded, "Yes, it is..." Ben looked over at the grave and frowned. You were studying the whole time, and you can tell that man had eyes full of anger and sadness. "He was my father, he...he was an interesting person. He used to take care of you a lot back then; he loved you so much since you're the only granddaughter he'd ever had." You blinked twice.
'Seriously, I am? None of them had daughters?'
Ben let out a deep sigh, he wasn't really having fun talking to you, he hated the topic of his father in any conversation. Especially with you.
Abigail on the other hand just admires the scene before her. She knew Ben had a weakness, but never will she have thought that it was his dead father and you.
The priest quickly thanked everyone for the time and he had blessed each of them. He had also given everyone the chance to say their last goodbye, and the burial began.
"Everyone, before they begin to bury my mother, I would like to make an announcement." Abigail raised an eyebrow at her sister's comment. Hazel, the second oldest, was always fond of her mother. Unlike Abigail over here, who never talks to her mother, she of course had to make a comment. Hazel let out a deep sigh, "It does seem like this news was unexpected, but let us not forget that even if it's just a death, she is a very powerful woman. My mother has a high tier name, and whoever is the cause of this...means they're also after all of us. There will be a meeting hosted in Anfirm HQ, at 8 P.M., in three days. Please..."
Abigail looked down at you, "You have to come along, now." You looked at her, "Am I allowed? It seems like it's a very important meeting between you all and my dad's side." Ben scuffed, "You also have to attend." Abigail was confused at the comment, but she ignored it and gave you a nod, "That is correct. You have to be there, since you do hold each bloodline in you." You weren't sure if they were joking or not, but judging by the looks of it; they're not. "I do get that, but I will not be doing nothing from it, and just sit there. It's best that I don't go..."
Ben groans, catching you and Abigail off guard. "For crying out loud...Y/n L/n Anfirm." Ben looked at you, only to find you giving him a grossed out look, which he hated because that face reminded him so much of your father. Ben let out a shaky sigh and closed his eyes, "I came to give you the news, that you're officially the new leader of the L/n's associate." Abigail and you widened your eyes. What the hell did he just say? "Ben, this type of news is supposed to be told NOT in a funeral." Ben glared at Abigail, "Stop acting as if you weren't planning to do the same. I know you have something up your sleeves, and you're just waiting for me to leave." Abigail was quiet, because he was right. Although, they're hot headed minds were blinded, since they had forgotten about you.
You were shocked and frustrated. What the hell did he mean that you're in charge of the associate? Is he out of his mind? Isn't your father in charge of making that decision?
"Aren't I right, why don't you tell her the news too?" Ben whispers shouted to Abigail who only did back, ignoring the stares that everyone gave them. "Okay! Y/n, I also have news to give you, my mother decided to hand you the business of The Anfirm to you. Congratulations, you're now in charge of two big businesses."
What.
The two continue to argue silently, looking stupid to everyone.
But to be real, you weren't really feeling much but anger. What in the world were they saying, not only that. You're invited to a very important meeting, because you're the boss that they all are waiting for to show up. Seriously, last minute?
"For god sakes! You're full of..." Ben and Abigail slowly got quiet. Their natural instincts shut them up and made both of them jump back and slowly laid their hands on top of their hidden weapon. The two only stared ahead, only to shake violently at your stare. That stare, was one that none of L/n and Anfirms held. That stare only belonged to your father and Blaze, your grandpa. Ben sucked his teeth.
'W-Why is my body shaking...'
Abigail gulped and stared at her own hand, 'H-Her stare...it's so threatening...'
Felix saw from afar the scene and let out a deep sigh. He bid his goodbye to everyone and walked up to the three of you. Once he was close enough he stopped next to you and glared at the two, "You two can leave. Y/n is much more devastated compared to the two of you. You two are acting like fools, how childish can you act in a funeral? This is unbelievable..." Felix looked down at you and placed his hand on your shoulder, "Y/n, your cap is here, I'll walk..." Felix froze. Once those burning gaze of yours were seen from him, the man had felt his body drop to a low temperature.
Once you realize that the one touching you was your uncle Felix, your glare relaxed and you just hugged him out of nowhere, catching him off guard. "U-Umm...Y/n?" Felix was confused, he knew you lost your memory, but why the hell are you hugging him? Did you somehow remember him and you just had to hug him? Felix had so many questions.
But in reality, you were hugging him because you love your uncle Felix. He was someone that cared about you, the one who stayed in your hospital bed, when you were in a mini comma, the one who always came over all the time when your grandpa use to take care of you, the one who respected his father in everything, the one who loved you more than what your parents showed love to you back then. He was someone you respected and dreamed of meeting again. You just couldn't help and break character when you saw him, that's how much you love him.
"Y/n..." Felix started petting your head and glared at Ben and Abigail, he then mouthed "Leave. Right. Now.' to them and they both were just left in shock.
'What the fuck just happen?!'
Abigail and Ben looked at each other, unaware that both thought of the same thing.
"I thought you'd be here, with him." Law walked in a warehouse, looking at Luffy and Rayleigh. "Tora-o, what are you doing here?" Luffy tilted his head while Rayleigh yawned and went to sit down on a trate. "I came here to tell you some news." "What?" Rayleigh drank his beer quickly and looked at Law, "He knows already." Law slowly glanced at Rayleigh in the corner of his eyes, then he stared back at Luffy, "And you're not doing anything about it?" Luffy frown, "I want to, but I need all my friends to get stronger for 4 years." Rayleigh shook his head, "His dead brain isn't making the answer look too good, isn't it?" Law looked back at Rayleigh. "Luffy here meant to say, Y/n is a strong girl. Even if he's not there, she will get stronger and he told me that she has joined his group. So those 4 years, include her as well." Law widened his eyes, "What kinda news is this..." Luffy smiled sadly, "I know it sucks, but Y/s will understand."
Law shook his head, "No she won't. I'll be leaving then."
Luffy raised an eyebrow, "What do you mean?"
The following day was a mess. The news of an infamous criminal being dead had made a huge impact on the world, well not really, but to those that are familiar with those names. Judging by how bad it has gotten, Kid held a meeting with the ones, who are bosses, that are known to be part of the Worst Generation.
"Who did it?" Hawkins, Drake, Apoo, and the rest of the bosses looked at Kid with a confused look, "What are you talking about, Eustass?" Drake glared towards Kid. Hawkins only flipped a card and looked at it, "He's talking about Anfirm D. Anastasia's death." Kid looked at all of them, "Did anyone know she was alive?" There was no answer. The room continued to be silent, until Killer opened the door and let Law in with Luffy, "I brought him." Luffy looked around to see faces he remembers.
Kid sat down once everyone did. Law looked around and saw the intense eyes looking at one another. "This is war between us. We can all do alliances and what not, but now that both crazy families have a killed and injured individual of each, it seems like they will not go easy anymore. They now have their ears and eyes open." Kid spoke up which made the rest cranky, they didn't like to be ordered at all. Law then interrupted him, "We all have somewhat similar goals, but this is serious. We all want that higher position, but now that all these things are happening to them, they have been threatened and it will be hard for all of us to keep going forward..."
"I get it." Hawkins spoke up, placing down a card for everyone to see, "It tells me...that their will be bigger news than now. We have to be cautious." Apoo laughed, "So this is actually war, because they're not the only ones that are threats..." The whole room once again fell to an intensity.
A new generation also brings a new outcome.
Although, unknown to all of them...that outcome will not be caused by them...
But you, as the new threat.
