Jungkook felt horrible. Mixed feelings about everything. He felt like everything was crashing down on him and he didn't know what to do or how to fix it.

The whole situation started with minji... well...yea let's just say that because jungkook didn't want to bring light to the fact that he went against his parents' backs and started to study witchcraft.

So. He's going to blame minji. In a good way though! He would never blame Minji for something bad...

He felt bad. He didn't want this feeling in his chest. At first, he had just thought it was interesting. She was a pretty, very pretty woman... she was smart, she had confidence, which he had a hard time finding in himself at times. And most of all, she listened to him.

But this feeling... there were two. The first one is like a candle was lit. When it was just minji and him for the time being, well besides that stupid kid, he felt warmth. It wasn't the warmth that his parents rarely gave, more like... a blanket was around him.
He liked it.

The other feeling only came when minji talked to other people. Especially yoongi...this feeling felt somewhat similar to when jungkook was young and saw kids playing outside when he was stuck inside reading, well playing until his parents came out screaming for them to leave.
Or when he was allowed outside and saw other parents praising their kids for something...

But for some reason the feeling when minji was with another, it wasn't like the candle...more like a forest fire...

Jungkook was conflicted. Did he like minji? Probably. Which was weird...he never liked anyone before. It was also weird because he just met her. Did she like him the same way? She had to... right?

It wasn't like she was forced to spend time with him because she didn't know the way around the forest like she used to. Totally.

Did minji like yoongi in the same way that he liked minji? she couldn't. not when jungkook was there. thoughts like there's run through this head.

There wasn't a question of whether yoongi liked minji. Jungkook would even say yoongi loved her... it pissed him off but there was no doubt.

it also pissed him off that minji would be staying with yoongi tonight. why didn't he offer... Jungkook mentally kicked himself because of the thought.

Maybe that was a good thing. first off, yoongi was mean and possessive. a curse and a blessing. Jungkook knew yoongi wouldn't let minji get hurt or talk to random strangers. but that also includes jungkook. he didn't have any time with minji when yoongi was around.

second, his parents would probably do something to make little minji uncomfortable, or worse, kick her out. jungkook couldn't have that. if they had found out she was a witch, hell would break out.

so. perhaps this is for the best. for now at least. jungkook would eventually introduce the topic of witchcraft and minji to his parents... if she stayed...

which, hopefully so. as much as he doesn't want to say it, yoongi was most likely to get her to stay. it's only because yoongi has known minji since their childhood... not because minji listened to yoongi or liked yoongi more than him...yea. definitely.

Minji was nice... minji was so nice that jungkook did not doubt that his parents would like her and convince them witchcraft wasn't bad!

And his parents would like her so much that they would have no choice but to get married! jungkooks parents were hard to please, so if minji had impressed them, which he had no worry about, they would encourage a marriage. with marriage, comes kids...right? as much as jungkook didn't enjoy any little gremlin-like creatures, he was sure if it was his and minjis, he would love it. well, at least he thinks so.

The thought only, marriage with minji, made jungkook smile without even knowing. he didn't even notice he was in front of this house until the sound of the door harshing opening shook him out of his little dream.

"Jeon Jungkook! Why on earth are you out so late? huh? do you know how worried your father and I were? you've been out since dawn and you're now just coming home?" an older, elf lady spoke in a harsh, yet quiet tone. it sounded like she was holding back from yelling at him.

"ah...mom...hi..." Jungkook awkwardly said and looked away, avoiding the harsh look his mother was giving him.

"jungkook. get. inside. now." jungkooks mother said as she gritted her teeth.

jungkook scrambled inside. his mother might not have been able to lay a hand on him but she sure did know her way with words. it frightened him, his little lady with the tongue of someone who's been a war general.

the house had a soft, warm light covering the area. jungkook swiftly took his shoes off and placed his things on the table by the doorway.

jungkook sheepishly walked to the living room with his mother close behind, where his father was. he standing by the window and was watching out it with a pipe in his mouth.

"jungkook. Welcome back." jungkooks father said as turned around, no emotion on his face.

"hello dad..." jungkook had and rubbed his hands together.

jungkook watched as he and his mother walked over to the kitchen, leaving him no choice but to follow them. Jungkook and his father sat at the table, across from each other, while his mother went to fetch tea.

"do tell us where you were all day," jungkook spoke as he grabbed the simple tea cup.

"uh.." jungkook started...

jungkooks mother sat jungkooks glass down a little harsh before sitting herself by her husband.

jungkook started to get nervous due to the attention his parents were giving him.

"i...I was just with someone...?" jungkook tested. hopefully, they fell for this one. it wasn't like it wasn't true, but jungkooks parents knew he didn't have many friends.

"who? you have no friends..." jungkook mother said and sipped her tea.

"ouch...." jungkook sighed. it was true but it still hurt.

The room got silent with only the sound of his parents sipping tea and his father using his pipe.

"It was just a friend... I've met her today..." jungkook whispers and looks down at the cooled-down tea.

It reminded him of the slightly burnt tea that he had with minji... how cute.
Jungkook didn't think he would be able to drink any other tea but minjis... would it be considered cheating? He couldn't do that! He wasn't going to hurt minjis feelings by drinking anyone's tea. Even if it's his mother's. It wasn't that good anyway. He wouldn't miss out on much.

"Wait...HER??" jungkooks mother choked on her tea. Jungkook looked up a little concerned.

Jungkooks father helped his mother with a small smile on his face.

When jungkooks mother calmed down, she let out a sigh and looked at her husband with a side-eye. For what? Jungkook had no idea but he can only imagine it wasn't good.

"Jungkook! I don't even know what to say...You spend all day with a girl?" Jungkooks mother said in disbelief.

In response, jungkooks father only scoffed. Putting his smoking pipe down with a smirk.

"Jessica. I believe that's what he said. You don't think jungkook could pull anyone? Look at him. The most handsome elf around. Other than me." Jungkooks father spoke and folded his arms.

"I didn't say that! Jungkook is a little young for girls! That's all!" Jessica, jungkooks mother, said in defense. "Jungkook, I think you are very handsome and I believe you could find anyone you want but you are a little young..."

"Young? He is a man now! He's smart! He's handsome! It's time for him to find someone! I believe he was spending his day with her! We were worried for nothing." Jungkooks father said confidently with a firm nod.

"Ugh! Jungkook! No. You are still so young. No marriage yet!" Jessica said, with irritation now.

"Uh.. well I am 21... and I think I do like her...maybe marriage wouldn't be so bad..." jungkook said out loud without realizing. He regretted it as soon as he did realize.

"No!"
"Yes"
Both his parents answered at the same time.

"Uh-"

"JUNGKOOK GO TO BED!!" Jessica said, frustrated with the men in the house.

"Goodnight..." jungkook answered quietly, not wanting to make his mother's mood worse.

As he got up and walked away, he could hear his parents arguing about the marriage thing and if he was too young...

Jungkook opened his book-filled room, closed the door behind him, and jumped into the comfortable bed face first.

After a while, jungkook lifted his head, so he wouldn't suffocate. Putting his head to the side, he started to wonder what minji was doing that this time. Was she sleeping next to yoongi? Was she sleeping in the next room, thinking of him like he was of her? He only wished.

Today was a long day...
