Chapter 72:
It was the time of the morning, Avni stirs and turns her face. She hides her face in the blanket but her alarm rings. She turns her face and off the alarm. Avni sits and her eyes were closed. Avni sets her hair and yawns. Avni opened her eyes while yawning and was surprised to see the room. It was filled with bouquets. Avni saw a tea set is kept on the table with a bouquet. Avni looked around and smiled to see it. She saw a Teddy on Neil's side on the pillow. Avni smiles and leans to pick it. A card was kept in his arms first, Avni pick the card then Teddy. Avni sits.
Avni read, good morning, my love and sorry.
Avni smiled. Avni looked at Teddy.
Avni: so cute.
Avni hugs Teddy. Avni gets up and goes to the table another card was kept there in a bouquet. Avni picks that.
Avni read, breakfast for my queen. A treat from a loving husband to his beautiful wife. I am sorry for my every deed that hurts you. If you forgive me then there is a gift for you on the couch, wear it. And I am sorry once again. Your Neil.
Avni smiles. She looks at the couch and saw a gift. Avni goes and picks the gift and sits. Avni opened the gift and saw a saree. Avni smiled and touched that. She saw the tea set. Avni looked around. She gets up.
Avni: Neil, Neil. Neil, come out.
Avni comes forward. Neil comes into the room he looks down. Avni smiles to see him. Neil comes to her.
Avni: what did you think that by seeing these things, my heart will melt. I will forgive you?
Neil looked at her. Avni was looking at him angrily.
Neil: no.
Avni: if you thought that then you were right.

Neil realized what Avni said. He looked at Avni who was smiling.

Avni moves a step to him. She cups his face.

Neil cups her face.

Neil: ok. Did you like my gift?

They smile.

Avni: ok, give me ten minutes.
Neil: ok.
Avni goes to pick the box then she goes. Neil smiles and keeps the hands in his pocket and sighs. He was happy that everything is sorted.
Avni took shower and looked at herself in the mirror and was nervous to go in front of Neil.
Avni: come on, Avni. He is your Neil so relax. Take a deep breath and go.
Avni took a deep breath and goes to the door. She again took a deep breath and opened the door. Avni comes out and saw Neil is not in the room.
Avni: where did he go?
Avni looked around.
Avni: but it is good now I can get ready. Avni, come on, get ready fast.
Avni goes to the dressing table and gets ready. Avni was about to go but she remembered something and goes to the bathroom.
Avni comes to the room and Neil also entered the room. He looked at Avni and the time stopped for him. Avni stopped to see Neil. Neil was lovingly looking at her and Avni was feeling butterflies in her stomach. Avni looked down and played with her ring. Neil moves to her. Avni saw that and her steps automatically moves back. They were moving and were looking at each other. Avni's back was about to hit the wall but Neil keeps his hand behind her head. Avni turns her face and saw the wall. Avni turns to Neil and their noses touched. Avni was trying to control her breath but couldn't be able to do that. Neil caged her in between his arms.
Avni: Ne, Neil, wh, what are you doing? Le, leave my way.
Neil: why? you are not liking it?
Avni looked at Neil who smiled.
Neil: you are looking breathtaking, wifey. I can't stop myself from admiring you.
Avni blushes.
Avni: Neil, someone will come.
Neil: no one will come because everyone knows that I planned a surprise for you so they will not come here.
Avni looked at him.
Neil: now if you are done with your questions so can I do my work?

Neil moves closer to her.

Avni looked at him then at her lips and again at Neil. Neil cups her face and caresses her cheeks with his thumb. Avni closed her eyes. Neil caresses his cheek to her cheek. Avni clenched her fist. Neil looked at Avni and looked at her lips. He moved his thumb at her lips. Avni parted her lips. Neil was looking at her lips. Neil kissed her forehead. Avni opened her eyes when she realized that Neil is not doing anything. Neil smiled.
Neil: I told you that day that you will see a new Neil from tomorrow but unfortunately things did not go well but from now I promise, I will not let go a single chance from my hand. I will make you addicted to my love.
Avni smiles. She knew that he is waiting for her confession of love only after that he will proceed ahead. Neil holds Avni's hand and takes her to the couch. Neil served the flattened rice to Avni and poured the tea into the cups. Neil feeds Avni. Avni smiles and eats, she also feeds Neil and they had breakfast.
After that, Avni took her bag and kept her phone in it.
Neil: I am so sorry, Avni. I wanted to drop you office today. But dad has given his car for servicing so he will come with me.
Avni: it's ok, Neil.

Avni looked at him. She goes to him and encircles her arm around his neck. The bag was hanging at Avni's elbow.

Neil makes a face. Avni smiled.
Avni: you can drop me some other day also.
Avni touched her nose with his nose and moves her head. Neil smiled.

Avni turns to go but she stopped. Neil was looking at her.

Neil turns his face.

Avni kissed Neil's cheek. Neil was stunned before he registered, Avni fastly goes from there. Neil turns his face and saw Avni going. Neil keeps the hand on his cheek and blushes. Neil bits his lower lip and ruffles his hair.
In the nighttime, Neil comes after changing his clothes, he was rubbing his hands. He frowns to see Avni who was laying on the bed by covering herself fully.
Neil: what happened?
Avni said in a shivering voice: it is so cold today.
Neil rubs his hands.

He goes to his side and sat.
Neil: at least, give me the blanket to cover.
Avni: take out the other one. I am not going to share it.
Neil: Avni.
Avni: no Avni, go.
Neil forcefully tries to take the blanket.

Neil was trying to take that blanket.

Neil takes the blanket. Avni peeps from the blanket and turns her face.
Avni: what is this behaviour, Neil?
Neil lays. Avni lays straight and turns her face to him. She looked at Neil.

Avni looked at Neil. Neil signs come. He looked at Avni. She smiled and kept her head on Neil's chest. Neil captures her in his arms. Neil looked at Avni whose eyes were closed but Neil can't be able to see that. Neil lays his head back.
Neil: Avni?
Avni: hmm.
Neil: feeling better?
Avni: much better. Even cosy.
Neil smiled, he kissed her head. Avni smiles. She opens her eyes and thinks. Avni looked up at Neil who looked at her and understood that Avni wants to say something. They looked at each other.
